(7) Thanksgiving: The Fox And The Boy

While on Thanksgiving vacation with the family at his Grandmother's house in Trofte-Minnesota, Cameron, his pup, Mickey, and his two cousins encounter a boy who has run away from home with his pet Fox to keep it from being killed and made into a Thanksgiving meal by his stepfather, the sheriff. And they soon find themselves hiding the boy and fox out at Cam's Grandma's place.

49. T48: Divorce

T48: Divorce.

Lulu walked off the porch, down the steps and made her way over to her pink rented car. She got her keys out of her right pants-pocket, pressed the unlock button on the device, unlocking the vehicle. Lulu put her keys back in her right pants-pocket, opened the driver door, got inside and closed the door.

Lulu opened the envelope, got out several folded pieces of paper, unfolded them and looked at the first page and saw that the top of it read in black 'DIVORCE DECREE', with 'DANTE FALCORE' written at the bottom in black ink...in Dante's hand-writing.

Tears filled Lulu's eyes. Dante was divorcing her. Her husband...the father of her son...was divorcing her. She couldn't believe this was happening anymore than she could her son running away with his two cousins. But it was happening. All of it was. Rocco, Cameron and Leo disappearing...and Dante divorcing Lulu. She felt her emotions well up within her as the tears ran down her face. Up until now, since the vanishing of her son, nephew and cousin, she had been holding her emotions in, as she didn't want to make a scene in front of the family. But she couldn't hold her feelings in any longer. These divorce papers were the breaking point. It was time to let them all out.

"AHH!" Lulu screamed as she slammed her hands on the stirring-wheel...and began to cry...as the tears fell from her eyes.
