The vacation in Barbados got better for both Max and Lisa as it continued. The more time they spent with each other, the happier they became and, even though they still weren't completely over what both their previous partners did to them, it was still a great start for them to recover from the worst things that ever happened in their lives. Lisa liked the hotel room she was now sharing with Max and, even though there was only one bed in the room, which was king-sized, she didn't mind sharing it with Max every time they went to sleep. In fact, she actually liked sleeping with Max and she even slept very well with him. They even made out with each other and they even did it on Lisa's first night at the hotel. Even though they weren't trying to resume their relationship they had during high school nor were they trying to start a new one from scratch, mainly because Max was still scarred from what Mona did to him and Lisa was still scarred from what Daniel did to her, they still enjoyed having comfort sex every night to help themselves feel better and the more they did it, the more it worked. But it only worked because of each other. If Max had another girl and if Lisa had another guy, their comfort sex wouldn't have worked at all.

As for Goofy and Sylvia, they were very pleased to see Max happy for the first time since he broke up with Mona after she unremorsefully cheated on him and said those awful insults about him. They had been very worried about him and they tried their very hardest to help him feel better and reassure him that he was loved, but they kept failing. They were running out of ideas and didn't know what more they could do to help him. They were very grateful to Lisa for coming back into Max's life because she really made a massive difference and they enjoyed her company on their own terms. Lisa was very pleased to see Goofy again and for seeing Sylvia for the first time in her life, ever since she heard about her from the Christmas letters that Max sent her before he got too busy with Mona. And Max, Goofy and Lisa were very pleased that Lisa also bonded with Hannah and on their own terms.

Everyone enjoyed hearing each other's stories of their own lives. They enjoyed hearing Max telling them about his awesome life in Spring Falls and all the amazing adventures he had over there, especially while he was at work. Max and Lisa enjoyed hearing Goofy and Sylvia telling them about their happy lives in Spoonerville and how much they still love their jobs at Spoonerville College, with Sylvia still being the college's head librarian and Goofy being the college's head janitor, and how much Hannah was enjoying day care. And everyone enjoyed hearing Lisa as she told them about her life in Philadelphia and what she achieved at the University of Pennsylvania, including her college degrees that she earned and all the acting awards she won in the drama productions she starred in while at the university, where she played Maria Rainer in Rogers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music in 1999, Philia in Stephen Sondheim's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in 2000, Donna Sheridan in the ABBA jukebox musical Mamma Mia in 2001 and Guinevere in Camelot by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner in 2002. Hearing all this made Max really wished that he could have gone to the University of Pennsylvania and actually watched Lisa star in these shows and show off her amazing acting skills.

Everyone made the most out of this vacation. They continued to enjoy staying at the hotel. They enjoyed the food they had at the restaurant for every breakfast, the adults enjoyed going to the fitness center and having good workouts while taking turns to look after Hannah as she watched them, they all enjoyed cooling down and playing in the swimming pool and relaxing in the hot tubs.

One day, it was the day when Goofy, Sylvia and Max went to the spa to use up their free spa vouchers at the hotel. Max wasn't the biggest fans of spas, but Lisa loved them so he decided not to let his free spa voucher go to waste and give her his voucher and look after Hannah while she, Goofy and Sylvia had their spa treatments. Max enjoyed bonding with his sister and Goofy, Sylvia and Lisa had a great time with their wonderful spa treatments. Lisa was so grateful to Max for letting her use his free spa voucher that she returned the favor by taking him out for a meal at one of Barbados's expensive restaurants and treated him to a delicious, high quality meal, which Max really enjoyed, and then they went to the movie theater, where they saw the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Cruse of the Black Pearl and they really enjoyed it.

Everyone went to see many of Barbados's amazing attractions. They visited many beautiful gardens with the Andromeda Botanic Gardens and Hunte's Gardens among them, they visited the amazing Barbados Wildlife Reserve, they visited the awesome Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure Park and enjoyed riding on the ziplines, going on tram tours in the cave and doing the gully challenge among the many incredible things they experienced over there and they learned a lot about the history of Barbados at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society and the George Washington House. And they all enjoyed going to many restaurants in Barbados and eating its delicious, unique food and they all enjoyed visiting and relaxing on its lovely beaches. While at the beaches, Max and Lisa did a lot of surfing and they did a lot more water sports including jet-skiing, snorkelling and scuba diving and they had fun doing it.

Every day was amazing one in Barbados and everyone enjoyed everything they did, but there was one day which was everyone's favorite and that was when they rented a speedboat for the day and they took it out to the Atlantic Ocean to have fun. The first thing that happened was Lisa and Sylvia went water skiing. After Lisa, wearing her brown bikini, and Sylvia, wearing her green bikini, dived into the water, Max passed Lisa her slalom ski and Sylvia her traditional twin skis and then he threw them their own water ski rope handles who caught them. When they told him they were ready, he told Goofy, who was the driver, to start the boat and then he held Hannah as they watched Lisa and Sylvia rise out of the water and did their water skiing. They were both very good at it and they had a lot of fun doing it.

After a whole hour of water skiing, Lisa and Sylvia told Max to stop the boat and he told Goofy to stop. The boat stopped and Max watched Lisa and Sylvia ski on the water until they sunk in and swam back to the boat. After taking their water skis, he gave them towels to dry themselves when they got back on the boat and told them how amazing they were. Then he took off his clothes, leaving on his green swim shorts, grabbed his wakeboard, dived into the water, got ready with his wakeboard, grabbed the water ski rope handle that Lisa threw him, told them to go and after the boat started, he rose out of the water and did his wakeboarding.

After a whole hour of wakeboarding, Max had enough and he told his family to stop the boat. The boat stopped and Max floated on the water until he sank into the water. Then he swam to the boat and Lisa took his wakeboard and gave him a towel as he got back on the boat. As he dried himself, everyone told him how incredible he was. He was glad that they enjoyed watching him do it as much as he enjoyed it himself.

Then Goofy and Sylvia went parasailing with Max driving the boat and Lisa was the watcher, while holding Hannah. Goofy and Sylvia enjoyed their parasailing a lot. Then after an hour, they came and then it was time for Max and Lisa to go water tubing. They got onto their small water tubes and held onto the water ski rope handles and told Sylvia to go. She told Goofy to start the boat and Max and Lisa had a great time water tubing behind the boat.

Then after returning the speedboat, everyone went to grab some lunch at a café and spend the rest of the day chilling on the nearest beach, with Max and Lisa doing more surfing.

Then the time came when the incredible vacation sadly had to come to an end. Everyone went to the Grantley Adams International Airport and that was when they separated because they were catching different flights. Goofy, Sylvia and Hannah were going to Spoonerville Airport while Max and Lisa were going to Philadelphia International Airport so she could collect all her stuff from the place she was forced to live in Philadelphia and move away from her terrible family and that awful Daniel and live with Max in Spring Falls until she knew what she wanted to do with her life. Max and Lisa's flight was the first to take off so, after everyone checked through airport security, they said goodbye to Goofy, Sylvia and Hannah and thanked them for a lovely vacation before they boarded their plane to Philadelphia.
