My omake for the Omake pool.

Moritaka walked into his office, the lights were off for some reason and the automatic sensor wasn't working. Flicking the switch on the analogue box he pleasantly enjoyed the activation of the Florissant bulbs in recessed cans. Turning around he found three pikes behind his desk. Komorebi, Musashi, and Tomoe, all of their heads mounted on the pikes.

"You know, I am very bad at making threats." Came a familiar voice, the sound bouncing from place to place. "But I do keep my promicess as best I can. I know the pikes are a little Romanian, but I figured it is a good warning."

"Where the fuck are you!?" Moritaka demanded.

"Around, now you have no one but the guards of this penthouse under your command. Try and find me." The girl said in a sing-song manner.

Activating his pager Moritaka called all of his security who wasn't flatlinned. *Activate the lockdown, I need it so tights not even Arasaka Ninja's can get in. * He growled out and hanging up ignoring the affirmatives from his most loyal men. That bitch was going to pay for insulting him, and nothing will stop his revenge.

Motoko meanwhile was enjoying his struggle as she relaxed in the vents. Having already scouted the place out to avoid his security system, she was surprised… and disappointed when she found out the vents were not secured. She watched as several men sniffed around, even bringing German Sheppards with cyberware to sniff her out. She was so glad she invested a bit into the perfume al la building mechanic spaces before playing with them. Crawling out and over the office entrance in the hallway she found a single guard and waited for the opportune moment.

"Boss, I'm telling you there is nobody here. We have swept the complex with 53 guys, the lasers are active, and we have all of the remaining K9 units on patrol." The man said reported only to get a glass thrown past his head.

"Then how did she get into my office!" he demanded, Motoko deciding that this was the opportune time to 'Baste the fear turkey' as a kind vamp once put it. Activated the building stereo system and played a familiar piano theme.

"What the– Aaahg" The lone guard contemplated as Motoko fell on him stabbing him as she vaulted down the hall. Jumping into the elevator shaft and into the maintenance tunnels. Picking off a few guards over the course of 20 minutes and taking her time leaving some explosive surprises courtesy of some string, a grenade, and doublesided duct tape. Patching herself into the security comms she found great satisfaction in the fear in Moritaka's voice.

"What do you mean patrols 2, 5, 7, 9, and 12 aren't responding!?"

"That's just it sir, patrol 2 was found but we lost 3 guys from a frag grenade trap. 7 and 9 were crushed under a chandelier. 12, well we found them in the rafters strung up. When we cut them down the room was caught in a cascade of incendiaries that trapped 20 guys."

"How many are left?"

"About 20 or so"

"Report to my office immediately, whoever is doing this is only getting away with it because everyone is spread out."

"On it sir."

Motoko noticed about 15 or so walked into the central elevator. After hacking into the system she had the elevator drop, far and fast. After a few seconds and fading screams she triggered the grenades in the elevator just to finish the job. Waling to the office she debated going loud or like a ghost, before remembering the laughing man hack she kept in her back pocket.

As Moritaka heard the screams of fear and explosion over the pager he felt it deep in his gut, something he had never thought he would experience again. Fear. Motoko Kusanagi methods matched a known agent of Wakako, the ghost, and he just pissed her off. Soon his vision was swarmed with the infamous laughing man and the piano music played in his brain overriding his senses. After a few seconds he found the hack subsided but the 5 surviving men were dead at his feet.

"Perhaps we can come up with the right amount of eddies to spare me?"

"Nah, I think this will be payment enough." The Ghost responded as a flash of steel barely registered in his periphery as he found his headless torso still standing for a few seconds. Soon he felt his head lifted before a great amount of pain registered as he was now watching the doorway with the Ghost leaving. "Watch over the place for me will ya? At least till your head dies from being forced onto another pike." Was all she said as she walked out the room unfazed by the carnage.
