"Hey, Sophia, do you know where Gordo is?" Katarina yelled up to her friend.
Sophia pointed a large, clawed talon down a hallway. "He's with Alan, Lady Katarina," the large, white-skinned dragon said. "Do you want me to take you there?"
"Ah! That would be great! I'm kind of tired from this morning."
Sophia bent down, folding her four, bluish-purple wings against her back and offering a hand to help Katarina climb up to the back of her neck. The duke's daughter settled into her familiar perch as the large white dragon slid across the floor on her tail and rear legs. The knights along the way didn't give the paledrake so much a second look. The Prime Minister's daughter was a familiar sight in the castle, after all.
"Hey, Sophia, I'm planning to break off my engagement with Gugengorgun. Will you marry me?"
"For the last time, Lady Katarina, no. You know I like girls with amazing chests. Your chest is only about notable. Remarkable at best."
"Aw… can I cut off your tail, then? You know I like big swords and I cannot lie!"
