Rewards Card Confusion
"Motoko?"
"Hey Hayato." I greeted back as I pulled up the net gogs from my eyes. I was still mostly fully kitted out, just the helmet left behind. She took a moment to look over me, and the rest of my chooms before seemingly smiling instead of looking uncomfortable.
"Good, you will make an impression." She said and made to turn away but I coughed grabbing her attention.
"I forgot to tell you, Section 9 has a special promotion and you're the first lucky customer to be apart of it!" I told her with a grin as I took out the super-duper special cardboard rewards card and handed it to her.
She looked at it in puzzlement and flipped it over a few times, taking in the small 6 squares intersecting the card before creasing her brow and frowning.
"What is this?"
"It's a rewards card! Oh, I forgot to punch it out!" I flushed in embarrassment as I took the card from her lax hands and pulled out a small hole-puncher from my jacket and punched out a hole in one of the squares.
"There you go! After 5 assassinations the 6th one is 50% off!" I handed the card back to her, she just stared at it and the small hole in the top right square.
"What?" She sounded genuinely confused.
The grin on my face was fading as I realized she had no clue what I was talking about. Fuck, maybe Hiromi was right! This was a bad idea!
