"You can't keep getting Hayato-sama to order me to hang out with you." I raise an eyebrow at Jun, cause he should really know better. "Ok, could you please not ask her to as much at least? Please Toko!"
I huff at him but don't let go of his hand as we walk into our fav noodle shop. "Poor Jun-nii, having to spend time with his baby sister. Who will protect me from al.." He pushes my face away with his other hand while giving me the oddest look.
"Protect others from you maybe." But he doesn't let go of my hand so I know he does enjoy forced family time! "Oh hello Hayato-sama! I didn't know you would be joining us." He gives a half bow and I lift our connected hands in greeting.
"I asked Fuijmura to loan some of your time, even if it is for Motoko, I should be around when I request you." She was in a mostly normal outfit, still looked every bit of princess with her hair up. A bit haunty, a lil stiff but could see some happiness. Need to get the poor TCP out more, maybe sneak in some head pats.
The meal was nice, Jun kept trying to be all proper and respectful but a few well placed shin kicks got him to enjoy himself. Hayato was free for a bit longer so I invited her back to our place, she had started to loosen up some and even had giggled! Sure it was because Jun talked about how he had dragged me into the shower and dosed me in cold water, but happy Hayato was worth slightly embarrassing stories. After arriving home, I was able to get Hayato to relax a bit more. She had been here a few times but always seemed unsure how to act in our place. She wandered around and stopped at our small family shrine.
"Do you miss them?" She asked softly when Jun had gone to his room to drop off his gear.
"Oh, I don't remember anything before about a year ago." My punchy partner's head snapped around at that. "I was klepped by some scav's and was in a coma for some time. Jun rescued me and took care of my recovery."
"Sorry I was unaware." I wave off the apology. "I lost my mother many years ago but to lose the memories of her sounds much worse." Before I can stop myself I move in and give her a hug.
"You can be sad about missing your mom Hayato-chan, others could have it worse or better but that shouldn't change how you feel." Poor girl was stiff in my arms but did end up returning the hug, half heartedly but still counts! "So, your dads single?"
"MOTOKO NO! What is with you and older guys!"
"JUN!" I could feel the blush on both myself and Hayato as she backed off with the quickness. "I don't want to date Hayato's dad, even if I would be your boss! Hayato having to call me mommy is a no!" Oh TCP down, that's my bad huh?
