Hey Guys, so normally since this is my forth chapter for the past four weeks.
Normally I would take a break next week but I have to take care of something that's time consuming in the upcoming weeks.
So I will update one more time before my next update.
So I will update next week and then take the week off after it.
So we get an extra chapter this time, hope u guys'll enjoy.

Old Friends New Game
In the Ice Spear Arena it was now housing nearly a hundred of Faunus that were captured by the Silver Bullet Brotherhood. While the arena was huge it wasn't meant to accommodate so many to stay other than to sit and enjoy the matches.
Which means Kron had to spend some time doing the tedious task of making renovations with the help of archeologist and people who have experience digging the mines for the SDC.
Kron was walking and fired a Ki blast making a huge cavern beneath the Ice Spear Arena.
Once that was done multiple Faunus walked in and placed metal support beams to keep it stable.
"How much more?" Krona asked in a bored tone, at first he was excited at the idea of turning the Ice Spear Arena into an underground village it was actually very boring. He had to wait until building experts tell him where to blast or dig and they would go in and carve new homes.
"That should be all for now." A Faunus with ground hog claws a helmet said. "It's as though we have made a gigantic anthill for our people thanks to your hard work."
Kron thanked Yamoshi that this was over, hopefully now he can just focus on training or protecting these people.
"Alright, you sure the cavern won't collapse?" He asked.
"I'm sure it won't." The Groundhog Faunus said. "Don't worry we worked in the mines before we know what we're doing, it especially helps that you won't try to overwork us with deadlines unlike the SDC, our work is a lot safer with you in charge."
Kron realized that and was thankful for their talents, they would've had to sleep in the seats of the arena if it were not for them.
Still seeing all this made him joke of maybe finding someone to renovate his cave back in Anima. Maybe his pod would not have been stolen if that happened.
"Thank you High Leader." One of them said. "With the extra space we'll be able to to give each of our people a room for themselves."
The Saiyan nodded and walked away leaving the workers to their jobs.
He finally made it to his room and inside was his right hand man with his wolf tail swaying side to side.
"Lycan" Kron said as he walked in seeing him looking at what he worked so hard to get back.
Lycan stood in front of the pod and looked down at it with curiosity. "High Leader" He greeted him while still looking at the pod. "I apologize for intruding in your private room, I just kept wondering what this pod is."
Kron sat down in a chair not at all bothered by him inspecting it. "It was kind of a gift from my mother, I used it to leave my homeland."
Lycan heard the 'kind of' in that sentence but kept it to himself. "I wonder what your home was like and how common your ability was."
The Saiyan shrugged his shoulders. "It's a long story, maybe one day I'll tell you." If he's strong enough to earn it.
"Right' Lycan turned to him. "Now, High Leader, I have an inquiry for you."
Kron nodded acknowledging it. "What is it?"
"I need to know what we're doing going forward?"
The Saiyan responded. "As I told you, we're staying here until Roman finds evidence of the Silver Bullets and clears their name."
Lycan growled.
"What?' Kron asked.
"High Leader, with our numbers, we can launch an attack on Atlas itself, we can instill fear in them to allow us to prosper." Lycan suggested. "Roman may find no evidence, Atlas is building strength to attack us."
Kron felt the urge to agree, laucnhing that attack would force Atlas to unleash their strongest.
A war where his power can shine.
But he managed to restrain himself. "That's not happening."
"Why? We have the numbers we have the strength to put them on their knees."
Kron turned to a couple of young Faunus not even in their teens yet. "Not all of us can fight." The Saiyan stated. "Starting a war will put them in danger, you want to throw them with the wolves Lycan?"
Lycan looked at the children before turning back to him. "They're Faunus, their never safe, if we can force Atlas into submission we could ensure that no longer will there be another Silver Bullet Brotherhood again!"
"Submission?" Kron asked. "You want to take over Atlas?"
"Why not?" Lycan asked. "Atlas allows the SDC to flourish with Faunus desperate for work, they allowed the Silver Bullet Brotherhood to rise to power. If we can take over we can ensure that never happens again."
Kron growled. "Maybe that's what the White Fang would do, but not the Scourge Troop, our purpose is to give Faunus the chance to fight for their own path not to start a war, look the Silver Bullets are no more, these people want to go home, do you want to start a war risking their lives?"
Lycan wanted to argue more but saw Kron's point. "No, High Leader."
"Good, that's the last I want to hear of this." The Saiyan stated.
Lycan was silent but clearly did not like this decision at all, it was such a waste.
"High Leader!" A Faunus approached them. "Byzantium! He hasn't returned!"
Kron turned to him, the Snake Faunus, one of his scouts. "I'll be out to check where he is, stay on guard make sure everyone is inside."
The Saiyan walked out and flew out wondering who was foolish enough to start anything after what happened to Rockshow.

Fort Bismark
In the South East corner of Solitas lies Fort Bismarck, one of the many forts that surround the icy continent.
It was a great distance from Atlas and was chosen for the strongest to pursue training in preparations to battle the Scourge of Anima.
Many soldiers occupy it, some were pursuing training, close quarters and long range.
A lot wore Crusader Armor knowing now the full might of the White Fang, they now wear the same armor as they do thus leading the armor to be more common.
In the center of the fort lies the biggest area for training where the strongest were training.
Inside was a huge blank space where five individuals wearing armors of different colors training together.
One was a young woman with brown skin and a light brown mohawk, she was wearing the white Ace Ops uniform over it is her Crusader Armor which was pink the same color as her Aura.
"Ready?" Harriet asked.
In front of her was another member of the Ace Operatives a young man with black hair with dark skin wearing light blue armor that matches his Aura and eyes.
"I uh, I guess." Marrow said not sure about this.
Harriet ran to the side at Super Speeds, her Semblance leaving behind a trail of lightning.
The Dog Faunus tossed his Boomerang Fetch in her direction.
Harriet of course avoided it and made it to him she then threw a super fast fist.
But the Dog Faunus already rose his arms just before she reached him.
It slammed into him and sent him rolling back.
Harriet looked down at him, looking like she didn't notice his Boomerang headed for the back of her head.
Marrow smiled hoping it would land.
But to his disappointment Harriet moved her head to the side as Fetch went past her.
"Ah" He caught Fetch, he really hoped he was going to land a hit.
"Come on! Anyone could see the coming!" Harriet dashed again side to side almost forming a tornado around Marrow.
Marrow spread his arms apart and yelled.
"Stay!" He yelled.
And to Harriet's shock she actually froze but somewhat was still able to move.
"Yes!" He yelled seeing his evolved Semblance able to freeze two places at once instead of one. He then walked forward and threw Fetch towards Harriet.
Finally he was going to land a hit.
But Harriet's Semblance evolved as well.
Fetch went right through Harriet, and she vanished.
"What?!" Marrow was confused but then he turned around and saw Harriet running towards him.
He then turned and was shocked to see Harriet moving behind him he pointed. "St-gah!" Harriet slammed a fist against his jaw knocking him down.
Harriet glared down at him. "Not bad, you actually almost got me." She turned and caught his boomerang before tossing it down at him.
Fetch stabbed right next to him and made him nervous. "But how, can you make clones now?"
"No you idiot." Harriet rolled her eyes. "I can move so fast that I can make another image of me now, as soon as you rose your fingers up I moved behind you so both your hands couldn't reach me, I was so fast I left an image that you froze in place."
"Ugh" Marrow groaned, all that work to make his Semblance evolve and he still couldn't land a hit on her.
"Stop whining." Harriet crossed her arms. "Just try to focus on where I am going instead of where I am."
Marrow grunted while putting a hand on his jaw. "I was aiming where you were going, your just too fast." He whined, he might never land a hit on her.
In the space next to them their three comrades were fighting each other.
The tall muscular woman with brown skin, brown hair and matching eyes, wearing brown Crusader Armor.
Elm slammed a hammer down at a young man with brown hair and teal green eyes.
Clover was wearing turquoise colored Crusader Armor, he side stepped just before her hammer hit the ground.
On a plat form above him was a tall lanky man, with grey hair and blue eyes, wearing light blue Crusader Armor.
Vine swung his arms apart making two energy hands to wrap around Clover.
But the Ace Ops leader then backflipped and used his fishing rod to wrap around Vine's ankle.
Elm tried to kick into Clover's torso as he landed in front of her.
But the leader pulled and forced Vine in front to be hit instead of him.
Clover then ducked as Vine was kicked over him and swept kick Elm.
But the tall woman used her Semblance as her feet rooted to the ground to keep herself on the ground.
She then threw a fist down at Clover.
But he rose his hand up her wrist forcing the punch away from him, he then threw a multiple punches into her gut before another up her jaw.
Her Semblance stopped working and she fell on the ground.
Once that sparring session was over Clover walked to Elm and offered a hand up.
"Good work you two."
The leader panted looking at his teammates, even without the armor they made leaps and bounds since the last time they fought the Scourge of Anima.
And even more so were two others who made even bigger leaps, one through upgrades and the other from even greater training then the Ace ops can survive.
In the biggest training room in the fort a woman with white hair in a military bun stood across from a girl with long orange girl and green eyes.
Penny and Winter were flying and attacking each other in the air.
Penny threw kicks with rocket propulsion.
Winter blocked them with a sword.
Penny then swung her arms having an array of blades up Winter's side.
The Maiden unsheathed a second blade from her side and stopped the blade from making contact.
The two separated a few feet from one another.
Penny swung her arms in her direction.
Her array of swords circled and headed towards Winter as though it was a giant shuriken.
Winter leaned back as the circle of blades just flew past her.
She then flew forward and slashed down her sword now seeing her toss all her blades.
To the Maiden's surprise Penny brought up her own arm and a metal blade showed from her wrist and blocked it.
Winter then rose her other sword and tried to cut at the Android's side.
Penny was able to bring her other arm down and blocked it with another blade that formed at her wrist.
Winter was impressed by how quickly Penny reacted even though she was wearing Crusader Armor along with her magic.
Behind the Maiden Penny's spinning ring of swords were rotating back to her.
Winter jumped as the blades almost hit her almost like Harriet did with the boomerang.
Penny moved her arms so Floating Arrow was back behind her.
As the blades retreated Winter rose an arm unleashing lightning down at Penny.
The Android swung her arms forward catching the lightning but sent her flying back and crashing against the floor.
Winter descended down next to her. "Well done Penny, Polendina really does work wonders."
"Thank you!" Penny said enthusiastically while saluting.
Winter sighed, she may wish she was home but the training here has been nice, she's pushed her Aura to new levels as well as honing her magic even more.
The eldest Schnee placed her swords in their sheathes and walked off in the corner of the training room resting before the next training session as the Ace Ops continued their own training.
She even had fully mastered her magic, with this including the armor she maybe able to stand up to Kron the Scourge of Anima.
That made her frown having to capture him even though he had saved her sister.
But she was loyal to her kingdom, if he is a threat then it is her duty to neutralize him.
Just as she was in her thoughts someone approached her.
"Ma'am" A soldier greeted her with a salute. "There's a call for you."
Winter walked out of the training room and pressed a button.
A hologram showed but not of the councilman or Ironwood.
"You" It was a hologram of a man as old as James with short red hair.
"Specialist Schnee" Amaranth greeted. "It is good to see you grown up, last time I saw you, General Ironwood was still training you as a cadet, back when he was Major Ironwood."
"What do you want Amaranth?" Winter demanded not liking the sight of him.
"What we all want, for Atlas to prevail, you want General Ironwood to regain the council's trust? Then hear my plan, once he is captured you will be able to sway the council to allow him to keep his position."
Winter scowled. "General Ironed told me about you, you want his position for yourself."
The former leader of Team ABYS responded with no emotion.
"I want what is best for Atlas." Amaranth stated. "James has a chance to keep his position but only if you succeed and listen to my plan. Your welcome to refuse it but it is his best chance to regain their trust."
Winter said nothing and listened keeping in mind to not trust him.
Still she had to hear him out, she wanted Ironwood to keep his position no matter what.

Far Away
Team RWBY were walking through the forest alongside Professor Oobleck.
In tow was a growling Snake Faunus, Byzantium trapped in Weiss's Glyphs.
Blake looked at the floating trapped White Fang member. "This better be the way Byzantium."
Byzantium grinned. "We are , I'm glad your eager for our High Leader to see what a traitor you are, running away is one thing but teaming up with a Schnee is a betrayal to our entire species."
Weiss fought the urge to add a burning effect to her Semblance but remembering the scar on Adam's face made her rethink this, ever since she saw that she had been rethinking her stance on the White Fang and Faunus as a whole.
She has to accept the fact that there was some truth in her family's involvement in the suffering of Faunus.
Maybe she can try to change that while she's here.
"Belladonna" Byzantium continued his rant. "If you release me, I will talk him down, he trusted me with his power surely you know that he will listen to what I have to say."
Blake kept silent and after finally getting through the forest.
Ruby walked beside her and tried to give her a smile to ease her. "Everything is going to be ok, you know that Kron's a good guy right?"
Blake smiled and nodded, whatever Kron was doing there had to be a reason, especially after what happened in Vale.
He gave up on revenge for Yang and Ruby,
Whatever the reason he had to teach them Ki she's sure he meant well.
They kept walking and eventually they see a mountain with a cave at the center.
Standing side by side at the entrance were two large Faunus one with a Rhino's horn, another a large man with elephant tusks on the sides of his face.
"Huh, that was easier than I thought." Yang said seeing how it looked obvious where they were, wondering how they stayed hidden with those Goliath's standing next to each other.
They massive duo noticed them and glared seeing their fellow Scourge Troop trapped.
"You!" The Rhino Faunus yelled. "Return our comrade and we will let you leave unharmed."
"Do it now!" The Elephant Faunus smashed his fist into his palm.
The two were ready to destroy them.
"I do believe that we found it students." Professor Oobleck stated the obvious before walking ahead.
"Uh Professor?" Yang asked wondering if it was ok to let the skinny huntsman talk to them.
"Doctor and give me a moment if you please." The teacher responded.
Oobleck stood between the large guards. "Excuse me gentlemen, can you ask the Scourge Of Anima to come out and see us? Tell him that Team RWBY is here to see him."
The guards got angry at how nonchalant he was being talking to them.
The Elephant Faunus swung down his large fist.
Oobleck ran forward and slipped between the large Faunus's legs and kicked the back of his knee before pressing the button on his thermos to turn into a lance and bashed at on the back of his head forcing him on the ground.
"Quartz!" The Rhino Faunus watched his comrade fall to the ground. "You!" He threw a fist towards his head.
Oobleck moved his body to the side to avoid it before swinging up his lance forcing the mighty Faunus on the ground.
As the Rhino Faunus was on the ground he looked flabbergasted that this man of short stature was strong enough to force him and his comrade on the ground.
Quatz stood up glaring down at Oobleck. "Rhinestone, I think… he has Ki."
Rhinestone stood up glaring down. "Yes, and…" He turned to the four students. "I recognize them, they were the ones who have HIS power in the Vytal Festival."
Oobleck walked by them in front of Team RWBY. "Yes well, you must know that my students know of Kron, can you please bring him out?"
The two large Faunus stared down at the human for a few moments before.
"Schnee!"
They turned and saw a shorter but a more menacing Faunus walk through the entrance.
Blake recognized him right away and pulled out her sword. "Lycan"
Lycan ignored her, he stood between the two large Faunus and glared daggers at the white haired girl.
Weiss knew that look all too well and rose her blade ready to fight.
"Oh dear" Oobleck hoped to solve this amicably but it was unlikely now.
"What are you two doing?" Lycan asked. "There stands one of our greatest enemies. The Schnee heiress, we can use her, capture her now! Leave that small fool to me and free Byzantium."
Quarts and Rhinestone seemed to be more than ok with this and glared at Team RWBY.
"Here we go." Yang said raising her fists while the rest of the team got ready.
Team RWBY and Oobleck were all ready for a battle.
Just before a fight could start a figure landed between the Scourge Troop and the Beacon representative.
Once they all saw him they see a very familiar figure.
Kron was standing in his jacket with a hood and fur hood covering his mask.
"High Leader!" Rhinestone cheered. "We have enemies they captured Byzantium."
Kron stared at the five individuals and recognized right away.
"Hi Kron." Yang waved with a cheeky grin. "Love the new outfit, looks a little Grimm though."
The others groaned while Oobleck looked away as though he was embarrassed.
Kron growled as though it annoyed him and then he took off his mask and let his hood down.
"You were the ones who captured one of my men?" The Saiyan asked annoyed.
"Yep" Yang said popping the 'p'.
"Kron" Blake chimed in. "Good to see you again."
The Saiyan scoffed. "We literally saw each other not too long ago."
"That was a month ago." Blake responded.
Lycan looked at Kron conversing with them in annoyance.
"High Leader they captured one of our own, surely you can't stand for this." The Wolf tried to point out.
Kron turned to him and shrugged his shoulders. "They won't do you any harm, relax, Lycan."
Lycan growled. "The Schnee will rat us out, no we can't just let this slide." He got into position.
"Lycan" Kron glared at him. "Stop"
The Wolf Faunus paused for a moment and looked at the Schnee as well as the deserter, he put his arm down and snarled.
Blake was surprised at how much the Wolf Faunus listened but still focused on him with caution.
Kron then turned to the four ignoring the professor it seems. "Ok, so what are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you to." Yang said smiling. "Good to see you made new friends."
Kron looked at the blonde with an irritated look. "Your chipper for being a disappointment."
"What'd you call me?" She asked.
"You heard me, Second Best." Kron replied with a glare.
Yang realized what he meant, he was referring to the Vytal Festival. She wasn't too bothered by not winning against Pyrrha, but hearing it made her angry and… a bit sad. "Why you, come here and tell me after I break your jaw."
Kron couldn't help but chuckle hearing that, he hadn't heard her anger in a while.
Blake got in between them to keep things from escalating knowing how much of a hot head these two can be.
"Alright that's enough." Blake looked to Yang to signal her to keep calm and then turned to Kron. "We need to talk."
"I figured." Kron looked at the familiar girls, the Discount Winter, the small reaper and then at a man with green hair that he did not recognize. "Who are you?"
The teacher rose a hand and gave a friendly smile. "Dr. Oobleck, pleased to meet you."
Kron said nothing but noticed how quickly he spoke, he shook his hand before looking at the Glyph trapped Snake Faunus, he then looked to Weiss. "Let him go."
Weiss did just that and Byzantium immediately approached Kron.
"High Leader!" He shouted. "That girl she's a Schnee!"
Kron sighed he was going to get annoying. "I'm aware, but she's not our enemy."
Lycan squeezed his fists hearing that and was immensely disappointed.
Blake noticed that and glared at him for a moment before focusing on him.
"Get inside Byzantium, and make sure they know these five are not to be touched." Kron ordered his subordinate.
"What?" Byzantium shouted. "But High Leader-"
Kron glared at him making him silent and he stepped inside.
Ruby couldn't help but feel uneasy seeing how scared he was. "Um, maybe we can meet somewhere else like maybe a desert place?"
"Come on, you lot are stronger than anyone here that isn't me." Kron said walking with the five visitors in tow. "Just behave yourselves, I don't think I have to tell you they're not fond of humans.
Though the Faunus guards glared at both Blake and Weiss while they did.
They realized that while Kron was the strongest here these Faunus were still originally apart of Adam's faction of the White Fang and they did capture many of his lieutenants while Kron was being seen by Beacon's medical ward.
Now Kron was inviting them in and they are being told to not attack a deserter and a Schnee.
This might get problematic.

Fort Bismarck
Winter was alone in the training room, in the center of destroyed robots.
She had to take her aggression out after that call from Amaranth.
The Maiden knew there was some larger scheme in it.
But she couldn't figure it out for the life of her.
Just what is he planning and is the council in on it? Or are they just relying on his stratagem?
If only she can contact the General but he was restricted from talking to her unless the Council requests it.
She sighed in annoyance wondering what to do next.
"Excuse me Specialist Schnee?"
She turned and was surprised to see Marrow gasping.
"Marrow" Winter greeted. "I'm surprised your awake at this hour."
"Yeah, I uh, couldn't sleep." Marrow yawned. "Sorry just heard someone was still training and thought I'd see how you were doing."
Winter held up her blade and was ready to continue training. "I'm doing fine, try to get some sleep."
Marrow looked concerned for her before smiling. "Ya know I remember how the Scourge was, he toyed with us, I tried training hard with the others to one day make sure he can never do that again."
Winter said nothing and remembered it was the same way with her.
The moment he used his full power she was helpless.
She wondered if even with Amaranth's plan will the result be the same?
That thought made her squeeze her sword.
"Specialist Schnee"
Winter turned to Marrow a bit annoyed that he was interrupting her training.
He rose a hand with a friend smile. "Let's do what we can to bring the Scourge to justice like we should have done when we first saw him."
The Schnee nodded and shook his hand. "Right, for General Ironwood"
Marrow smiled before walking away leaving her to her training.
Once Marrow was outside he immediately changed into a common soldier.
Now that he had the Schnee's Aura, it was time for the Canvas Android to start the war.

Ice Spear Arena
Kron was walking through the hall way of the Ice Spear Arena with an indifferent look on his face.
He wasn't expecting to be touring these people.
"So that's the ring?" Yang asked as they can see the arena surrounded by ice spears. "It's bigger than Dead End Arena."
In the center of the ring were two fighters using Ki.
Blake watched as they were flying and using energy beams, this shook her that they were using this power that helped her surpass Adam.
Now their might be an army this time.
"So you really lead the White Fang?" Ruby asked watching the two fighters training.
The Saiyan turned to them and said. "We're not calling ourselves that, we are the Scourge Troop, fitting name don't you think?"
They were using his title for the organization.
"So you made a new terrorist group?" Weiss asked him in a critical tone.
"I suppose, Discount Winter." Kron scoffed to her.
Weiss glared at him at the mention of that rotten nickname.
Kron chuckled happy to press her buttons, it's almost as fun as pressing Yang's, he kept walking until they made it to a chair that looked like a throne with two other Faunus standing side by side.
The Saiyan sat down looking like a king.
Blake couldn't help but get a little bit annoyed seeing that, it was kind of like how Adam told her of his dream to one day take the White Fang's throne after he took Sienna's place.
Ruby then looked at the banner hanging over the throne. "Whoa look isn't that-"
The other members and Oobleck all looked up.
The banner showed a blue flag with a white skull and red eyes, it looked like a Grimm but it looked more like the beast they saw Kron turn into only a Grimm version of it.
"Like the symbol?' Kron asked. "I thought it was appropriate, the Unmasked Berringel as the people call it was a true symbol of strength."
Yang looked all around wondering if any Faunus knew why he wanted that to be the symbol, she doubted it but still it was an... interesting choice.
"So what do you want to know?" Kron asked as he put his arms on the arm rests of the throne.
"Kron" Blake continued as she was one of the two who was the best at talking to him. "We've seen everything your doing, you've been raiding Atlas's factories, it looks like you were killing soldiers and anyone in your way. Is all that true?"
Kron figured that'd be a question, it did look like he was just running amok almost like the old days.
"Again a long story, I'll try to summarize what's happened." The Saiyan offered.
Team RWBY as well as Oobleck who had his arms behind his back.
"So what happened was Fort Lee Rockshow sent people to capture me, they stole some my property, my greatest trophy, Raven's sword, I had to get the help of Roman to find him, eventually I found him and put him down, which is what you saw on the news."
Blake was confused hearing this. "Even if he did steal from you, you wouldn't go this far."
"True" Kron admitted. "He also lead the Silver Bullet Brotherhood, he was planning to experiment on me, he wanted to see if he could weaponize me as he did with the other Faunus."
That made sense to Team RWBY.
"Wait, Blake you said the White Fang that weren't captured were missing, after we captured Adam's lieutenant! Right?" Ruby declared.
Blake turned to Ruby and nodded. "Yeah"
"So wait, if he lead the Silver Bullets, than you never lead the White Fang to the Crusader Armor Facility." Ruby declared. "You lead them out right?"
Kron was surprised at how quick she put that together. "Your smarter than you look."
"Eh?" Ruby tilted her head. "Um, thanks, I think."
Weiss put a hand to her chin. "So, Rockshow was leading the Silver Bullets, you figured that out and found out where he was hiding."
"He sure did." Kron said. "I was hoping to capture him alive to expose him, but he tried some serum and it ended up killing him." Idiot was messing with something he didn't understand.
Blake sighed happy to see that he definitely wasn't doing as bad as what the media had said. "So what exactly was Rockshow doing with the Faunus?"
Kron turned to her. "He was tampering with their DNA turning them into the first Faunus." He remembered the monsters that he had to deal with. "You should have seen the monsters he created, even you would want him dead Blake."
The Cat Faunus didn't doubt that but hearing of her people turning into true monsters was something she was grateful she didn't have to see.
"Roman couldn't even find him." Kron continued. "I only found him because General Ironwood contacted me, he was planning a coup to control Atlas, he would have had all the funding he needed to keep experimenting."
"Ironwood told you where to find him?" Weiss asked. "That's hard to believe since he's been wanting you captured ever since you attacked my sister."
Kron turned to her and shrugged. "Yes, I thought it was a trap only to find out it was the truth, looks like Rockshow was a threat to all."
Yang smiled as she patted Black's back. "See? I told you he was doing good, we all knew you wouldn't be doing anything bad, ya big softie."
Kron sighed hearing that last word but kept silent knowing she'll get worse if he feeds it.
"Wait, why are you teaching White Fang Ki?" Blake asked.
Kron shrugged. "I needed them to keep those Faunus safe, if I tried it alone some of them probably would have been killed."
"You taught all of them?" The Cat Faunus asked looking around at the Faunus.
"Just ten." He responded. "I didn't teach EVERYONE, that would've been a problem, with only ten I can make sure they behave themselves and not do anything stupid."
Yang thought that was good, at least he was thinking about what kind of damage they can do.
Blake still looked concerned. "Kron, I'm glad that you mean well, really I do." She then looked around and specifically at a Wolf Faunus near the ring. "But I don't think it was a good idea."
"What are you on about?" Kron asked the Cat. "Your all about empowering Faunus, thanks to me now a group of Faunus can stand up to Atlas and not go overboard like Adam."
Blake focused on Lycan for a moment. "Some of them might want to be like Adam, remember they were plotting the Fall of Beacon, they only weren't apart of it because you stopped it, I don't know if it was good to teach them this power."
She remembered a few Faunus here that had taken to Adam's way, and with Kron she doubt it'll be any better.
"Exactly, they know I stopped them in Vale." Kron pointed out. "We stopped the Silver Bullet Brotherhood, and they know if they try anything stupid with Atlas I will stop them. So there is nothing to worry about."
Blake knew he'd be stubborn and looked at the other Faunus who were staring at her and Weiss. "I don't know about that."
Kron growled at that sentence and sighed. "It will be FINE, so now you know I'm not trying to kill any civilians, nor will I allow it, you can go now."
Team RWBY were about to argue but then they noticed something.
"Wait" Ruby started. "Where's Professor Oobleck?"
All they could see was an outline where Oobleck was.
Kron rose an eyebrow.
"Fascinating"
The Saiyan stood up from his throne and looked to the side and saw that Oobleck was looking at the walls in the edge of the arena.
Kron growled in annoyance and walked towards him. "What are you doing?"
Oobleck was writing down in his notes before turning to Kron. "My apologies, this is my first time in these ruins, looking through this has been on my bucket list for some time, I thought it was lost before you dug it up, were you aware that this arena was once a sacred battle ground long before the four kingdoms surfaced?"
Kron was shocked hearing that but he responded. "Yes, it was built by the Artemis Polar Bear Faunus Tribe, back before humans arrived." He explained.
"Exactly" Oobleck responded." The Polar Bear Faunus used to battle here to solve disputes, even the smallest arguments lead to battle, they were a warrior tribe back in 2000 B.C."
Team RWBY were watching the interaction and saw that Kron was being… civilized instead of annoyed.
Kron looked surprised hearing that. "No it was 1500 B.C., they hadn't built this by then."
"Yes that is what the usual text books say, but look at these markings." He put a finger to a symbol.
Kron did so and looked at the strange hieroglyphic.
"This marking was only used 2000 years ago, in an ancient language that only began to change 1500 years ago indicating that this was built in 2000 B.C.
Kron noticed that and was surprised to hear that. "Huh, ok, I saw the marking I didn't understand what it meant." He admitted.
"Not many do, very few are aware of the symbols as it was a forgotten language long ago, usually used between Faunus tribes before the end of the great war that lead to the Four kingdoms sharing the same language."
Kron was surprised by the knowledge he had, he must be a history teacher.
Oobleck wrote down in his notebook as well as lifting a text book from his bag.
Kron looked at the yellow aged book and realized something. "Wait, that book, it's The First Ancient Civilizations, but that's first edition?"
Oobleck smiled while lifting this. "Ah, good eye." He lifted the ancient book. "Yes, in this is the written recordings of-"
"Phineas the Wanderer" Kron said ahead of it.
"Correct it's refreshing to see someone as studious as I am." He showed the book to him. "See look here" He pointed at a passage showing a diagram of the Ice Spear Arena. "Phineas himself actually came into the cavern, risking his life to see the culture of the battle hardened Artemis Tribe, it was how he discovered that the victor of the battle may have whatever they wish at the expense of the family of the one they defeated."
Kron nodded while putting a hand to his face. "Yes, and it was meant to prove which family of the tribe was strongest and which had the right to rule." The Saiyan stated as he looked at the writings of Phineas. "Amazing, I… I need this book."
"Oh" Oobleck chuckled. "Apologies however it is not for sale."
The Saiyan crossed his arms. "Y'know I could just take it."
"You could but it would end up destroyed." Oobleck showed the book and it's crusty pages. "Without time and effort to keep this book pristine it would turn to ash eventually turning some pages unreadable."
Kron realized that just by looking at it and realized he had a point. "Damn it, fine."
"Rest assured I am working on a restored version of the book." Oobleck stated. "I'll gladly give you a copy if you'd like."
"I'd appreciate that." Kron responded. "Dr. Oobleck."
"It's doc- oh, pardon, never mind." The historian chuckled happy to see someone finally recognized his PHD.
As they bantered together geeking out at their shared favorite subject Team RWBY couldn't help but look on confused.
"I uh, lost track of what they were talking about." Ruby admitted. "Sis?"
"Been lost since they both started talking." Yang admitted.
Blake couldn't help but chuckle seeing Kron actually make a new friend without fighting or getting on his nerves, her mom would be happy to see this.
Weiss couldn't help but realize something. "So this is why Ozpin sent him with us, he knew how well they'd get along."
Even with Blake and Yang, that wouldn't be enough to get the oaf to listen to all they have to say.
Once the duo were done with their discussion Kron sat back on the throne.
"Now, Kron" Oobleck started. "I'm aware you want my students gone, however I would implore you to allow my students to come and go to speak with you at least for a few days."
Kron tilted his head. "Mmm" He turned to Team RWBY. "I don't know, it's not like they need it."
"Come on Kron." Yang smiled at him. "I'm sure you miss me right?"
"Tch" The Saiyan focused on Oobleck. "Your asking for a lot here, why would you even want them here with a criminal?"
"Because I know they will be safe. " Oobleck chimed in. "You are Ozpin described, you have a sense of fairness about you, you will keep them safe even if your men were to try anything."
Not that they would need protection given that Weiss was able to bring down Byzantium with little to no effort.
"Since I can trust you to keep them safe I ask you trust me with one task you need of." Oobleck smiled. "I am going to General Ironwood to ask him for options on clearing the Silver Bullet prisoners names, while I do that I like you to keep my students safe while they are here."
Kron knew there was more to this, he wanted them here for a reason.
"Do this and I will give you the restored First Edition of Phineas The Wanderer if you agree to this."
That pretty much did it, he sighed he knows Blake was going to hound him, ironic given she's a cat.
"Fine" Kron agreed, he really wanted that first edition.
Oobleck bowed politely before turning to his students. "Please do not do anything rash."
The professor left leaving the four behind with Kron.
"So" Kron started. "What else did you want? It's obvious Ozpin wanted you to talk about something else, not just to know what I was up to."
"Ozpin wanted to offer you a deal." Blake sighed, she hoped he'd agree but of course given how Kron is they might have to fight for it.

Salem's Grimmlands
Inside the depth of the castle Salem was inside one of the rooms.
The immortal witch was sitting with her legs crossed and her hands pressed together.
Purple and yellow light flowed all around her as though she was a sun with two colors.
Ever since she discovered her light magic she's been experimenting with it to see if she can make it blend with her darkness.
Perhaps that will be the key to increase her power.
She never bothered with training.
Why would she? She was immortal, she was the most powerful in the world.
After figuring out how to craft Soul Dust, create Grimm hybrids, she decided it was time to increase her own power.
Years ago maidens level of power was the pinnacle of Remnant besides her own.
Now? Maidens meant almost nothing, her own power is being surpassed by her own men.
Not that she was worried, she can always overwhelm them with her immortality, and her Soul Dust had one thing that made sure her followers would always stay in line.
Now it was time to see how much further she can go, to see if she can protect her position as the most powerful.
Though she wondered and looked forward to see how she will measure up to Kron.
She opened her eyes.
In the reflection of the mirror in front of her was half her usual dark appearance, the other half…. Was her human self with blonde hair.
Moments later it became fully corrupt once again.
Not that she was upset by it, she was more than fine with her appearance. It showed the god's cruelty.
Still she wondered if maybe this gave her a clue in what her next evolution will be.
"My Goddess"
Salem turned to see Tyrian walking in while bowing.
"You have what I asked?" Salem asked.
"Right here my goddess." Tyrian handed the vial of Kron's blood.
Salem took it and looked into it.
"Go to Vale and assist Cinder, she will need your aid."
He hated Cinder but loved his goddess. "Yes your grace." He left.
Salem looked into the blood and smiled. "What are you my dear boy?"
Her light magic and now DNA of a new species.
It was time for the game to get more interesting.

Ice Spear Arena
Kron put his chin on his fist listening to Blake's offer, or rather Ozpin's offer, he showed no signs of liking it or disliking it, only indifference.
"Kron?" Blake began. "This is a good deal right? If you agree to join Ozpin's side and help him stop other monsters like what showed up six months ago." She was referring the alleged Grimm King that was only stopped by the giant ape that stopped it.
Kron still didn't respond as though he was thinking of what she said.
"In exchange he's going to give you a blank slate, if you do enough good and he can appeal to forgive all your past crimes." Blake smiled. "You can start a new path one where you can do good."
Kron looked at her with a bored expression drumming his fingers on the armchair before looking her dead in the eyes.
Yang crossed her fingers behind her hoping that he'd be smart and take the agreement, she wanted better for Kron to but she had a feeling what his answer will be.
"I refuse." Kron responded with little hesitation.
Blake squeezed her fists hearing that.
"Why?" Yang asked. "This would be big, I'm sure if you help Ozpin you'll have plenty of fighting and on top of that you can start over, you'll be able to visit Blake's mom whenever you want."
Kron turned to Yang and shrugged his shoulders. "I like things the way they are now." Kron said smiling. "If I take Ozpin's offer, I'll end up taking orders and I won't get as much fighting as I do now."
"You want fights that badly?" Ruby asked. "Kron, if you agree to join Ozpin you'll be fighting for the right reasons, don't you want to prove to everyone that your not the monster anymore?"
The Saiyan scoffed hearing that. "I'm fine with that besides, I am still a monster, you saw I turned into right?"
Ruby remembered the giant ape monster he turned into. "You did save us with that you know?"
"And if Ozpin hadn't made Sepia stop giving me moonlight I would've destroyed everything else." Kron responded. "Anyway, I'm not interested, tell Ozpin I said so."
Yang saw this coming. "That mean your not going to tell us what you are? From what Blake said your not even a Faunus, right?"
The Saiyan figured she told them what he said, he wondered why he told her that phrase. "Not unless you make me bleed."
Yang fought the urge to use what Ozpin taught her, that blended energy but kept herself in check, she only smiled. "Well that's fine, whether you agree or not I'll probably make it happen sooner than you think."
Kron couldn't help but chuckle, not in a mocking way but that he liked what he was hearing. He doubted what she claimed but hearing the confidence was nice.
"Either way, I am not going to join Ozpin, he doesn't have anything I want anymore."
"Your an ingrate."
Kron turned to the white haired girl who crossed her arms.
"Ozpin is offering you the chance to start a new life and you throw it back in his face? I heard all about what you used to do, and now that your offered a chance to redeem yourself you don't want it?"
"I never asked for it Discount Winter." Kron responded. "I don't want to pardon my crimes, I want all of Remnant to attack me, it's more fun for me."
Weiss glared at him. "Blake and I'm sure her mother would want that from you."
Kron seems to have soften hearing Kali be mentioned. "I'm sure Kali would want that, but this is what I want, I don't want a 'clean slate' I want a life where I'm constantly targeted, sorry Discount Winter even Kali nor Blake here could convince me otherwise let alone you."
Weiss lost it at that point. "Would you stop calling me that? My name is Weiss, WEISS!"
"Mmm" Kron tilted his head. "Nope sorry didn't hear your name all I see is someone who's a cheap immatation of the real thing, Discount Winter."
"You!" Weiss had her hand on her weapon but Ruby held her.
"Weiss, calm down, easy he's just joking I'm sure."
"I'm not." Kron said.
Ruby chuckled as she kept trying to make sure Weiss wouldn't try anything.
"Look, Discount Winter, maybe in time I'll actually hear what your name is, but I can tell just by looking at you, your not much compared to your sister, I remember when we you went at me last time and it was nothing like what Winter did."
Just then three members of Team RWBY save for Ruby herself looked stunned at what he said.
Weiss looked angrier hearing that.
Yang put a hand to her mouth hiding her smirk. "What?"
"You know what I mean." Kron continued. "Winter made me feel quite the rush, she was exciting the way she engaged with me, when you did, I didn't quite get the same feeling."
Blake's eyes widened and put her hands to her mouth.
Weiss was blushing hearing that.
Ruby was wondering why her face was so red.
Yang chuckled over that and started laughing while holding her stomach.
Kron turned to Yang. "What?"
Yang stopped laughing for a moment but had a smile showing she was holding the laughter back. "Nothing just um.. how would you say Winter made you feel?"
The Saiyan was genuinely confused as he only said what he truly thought. "Like I said, excited, she even was good with her fists." He remembered her managing to throw a right hook across his jaw.
Weiss got even redder and now started to turn to Yang who was having fun at her expense.
Yang kept laughing much to Kron's confusion and Weiss's annoyance. "W-would you say she was good at fisting?"
"I guess" Kron responded not sure what so funny about it.
Weiss got more embarrassed than angry. "Would you stop that!"
Kron was starting to have less fun making fun of her and was now more confused. "I'm just saying, I had more fun with your sister than with you, she really knows how to move and-"
Yang laughed even louder at that and Weiss was starting to fume even more.
"What?" Kron asked now he himself was annoyed. "What are you laughing at?!"
The blonde kept snickering but she tried to respond. "N-nothign please keep going, oh god, you're comedy gold and you don't know it."
"Xaio-Long shut it your not helping!" Weiss yelled now seething.
"I'm not your clown!" Kron yelled.
Blake coughed an tried to keep this from getting more embarrassing for the Heiress. "Kron, um, I think maybe you need to mind your phrasing, I feel like your doing this on purpose."
"What phrasing are you talking about and what do you mean on purpose?!" Krona asked annoyed that Yang was laughing and even that Weiss was getting angry over something that's so little. "Ah! Forget it, never mind, anyway, I got no interest in Ozpin's deal."
Yang kept laughing for a bit before she stopped and then she decided to put her two cents. "Y'know Kron if you agree to Ozpin's deal you'll get to train me more, how does that sound, I know you had fun helping me get stronger."
Kron did have fun doing that, and it actually was tempting. After that loss it would be fun to push her and see how much farther he can take her.
"Still no, I'm not interested." Kron declared.
Yang crossed her arms. "Come on Kron, me and Blake would appreciate it, can't you do it for us? For Kali?"
Kron growled. "I've done plenty of good for you all." He pointed at Blake. "I saved her life when she was stupid enough to stalk me, along with Discount Winter, and" He pointed at Yang. "I saved your uncle, I gave up my revenge, my goal for almost a decade to save his life, you have no idea how big of a loss that was for me."
It never sat right with him how that fight ended. He actually regrets toying with the Old Hag, if he had actually gone all out she would have been dead.
Yang can hear the anger in his voice, she didn't mind it she knew it was a big thing for him to not kill her mother after all she had done. "Look, I get it, I really do appreciate what you've done for us, I will never forget how you chose to save my uncle over killing my birth mother, but you gotta understand if you keep doing this, it might cause other people to get hurt not just you, maybe people will go after Kali if they ever find out about her. Do you want that?"
That made Kron pause, she was right if they ever found about her they would use her to get to him.
The Saiyan growled again. "If anyone finds out they wouldn't try."
"You don't know that." Yang countered. "Come on Kron, please."
The Saiyan paused struggling to decide to keep his freedom or not.
Ruby couldn't help but be in awe on how her hard headed sister was the one that was able to talk some sense into him, but she shouldn't be given how she might understand Kron better than even Blake.
Yang can see that he was quite which made her smile. "Y'know Kron, you only get quite when you know the right answer isn't the one you want."
The Saiyan glared at her which didn't scare her at all. He was free again, the deal with Yang a few months ago wasn't bad, he had fun but there were times he felt like he wasn't doing enough, now he can hunt and fight all he wants.
Blake waited patiently with baited breath hoping to hear the right answer.
But then Yang said something that she wasn't ready for. "How bout I fight you for it?"
Team RWB_ all were shocked hearing that, but at the same time they felt like they should have seen this coming.
"Yang" Ruby began. "I don't know if this is a good idea."
"He's not going to agree, it's our best shot." Yang responded as though it was fact.
Kron looked at her before chuckling. "You can't be serious I've seen what you were capable of at the Vytal Festival, you've grown above what I expected but I know whatever you have won't do much to me."
Yang punched into her palm. "That was a month ago, I learned a lot from then, now I be able to take you."
During the month she had learned a trick to increase her power many times over, she can't do it for long but maybe it can knock him out. Maybe. She was fine with the little chance she had it was more fun that way.
Kron smirked, he did miss how confident she was and it gave him an idea. "Tell you what let's make a game out of this."
"One that'll take four months?" Yang asked with a frown remembering how their last 'game' was.
"No, just a few minutes." He stood up from his throne and walked towards the ring where his men were sparring.
"I need the ring, everyone out."
The Faunus practicing within it all walked out of the arena.
Lycan jumped into the seats surrounding it and watched curiously wondering what their High Leader was planning.
"Blake, you sure you don't think you can talk to him." Ruby asked knowing what little chance they had.
"Yang's right" She responded. "Kron won't listen unless we do things his way."
She just hoped that whatever he has in mind they'll have a chance.
Kron got in the center of the ring and used the tip of his boot to make a circle in the ground and he stood in the center.
"Alright, the game is simple, get me out of the circle and I'll join Ozpin." Kron said. "To make it fair, I am not allowed to fly or use energy attacks, all four of you should try not just Yang."
Yang was surprised seeing this. "The circle? Not the ring?" She asked.
"Yes, if it was the ring, it would be unfair, a small circle is the most fair it could be, you have to admit Yang however strong you've gotten you're no match for me."
The blonde wanted to argue but he was right she wasn't his equal.
Yet.
"Fine, but you better keep your word."
"Your mother being alive is proof that I always do." Kron countered while crossing his arms. "So? You ready?"
Yang looked to her teammates.
"Yang, I don't think you were thinking right, it looked like you convinced him." Weiss pointed out.
"Trust me, he wasn't going to agree." She responded. "He's more of a hard head than I am, this is the best way to get him to agree."
"If we can." Blake responded and sighed. "But I guess your right, he may care for us, but that doesn't mean he'll do whatever he wants." She pulled out Gambrol Shroud and stared at the cocky Kron.
Ruby nodded seeing the situation they were in and pulled out Crescent Rose. "Alright girls, let's do this, remember what Ozpin taught us."
Yang cracked her knuckles while looking at Kron who was smiling at her, she returned it, this was going to be fun.
"Let's go Team RWBY!" Ruby yelled.
All of RWBY took their battle positions ready to force Kron to see sense.

Fort Bismark
Winter watched as airships were being filled to the brim with soldiers.
It was time, it won't be long now before they find the Scourge of Anima's supposed hideout.
She wasn't sure how to feel about all this.
Being sent to invade the Scourge of Anima's White Fang wasn't a suprise giving what happened to Fort Port.
She remembered what Amaranth had said.
If she was to either take down or capture the Scourge she would gain a say in General Ironwood's position. She can ensure he remains as Atlas's protecter.
She remembered the stories the General told her.
Every plan Amaranth ever had always had a back up plan. Some say he had a plan A all the to plan Z.
So if she succeeds she can ensure James keeps the position but that must be apart of whatever plan he has.
Or will this plan help Ironwood at all and only serve Amaranth's purposes?
And if she fails will he have a plan for that to?
Another complication she didn't want to take Kron down, he saved her sister's life, he maybe an enemy of Atlas but from what Weiss had told her whatever he was doing doesn't make sense given his personality.
There was more on the surface, she knows that.
But even she does, will Amaranth have a plan for that to?
"Specialist Schnee."
Clover stood in front of her. "We're all ready."
Winter realized that it didn't matter, she had a mission to complete.
She hoped that whatever happens Weiss will forgive her.
Winter is going to assault the Scourge Troop.
Team RWBY has reunited with Team RWBY and imposes a new game.
Will Team RWBY succeed in his game or will Kron continue doing as he wishes.
And what is the Canvas Android plotting?

Alrighty guys, the action is starting to kick up a bit and will even more so next chapter.
I'm sure some of u realized why I had Oobleck tag along, here's the answer, their shared interest in history was too perfect to not let them meet.
Also sort of an homage to Vol 2 since they didn't happen in this story.
Anyway I am planning to add one more chapter before my next break, hope you guys look forward to it.

Guest: Well I mean there are power level guides for OG Dragon ball so I don't want to be exact. But I'll say this at the same age, Kron is marginally weaker than 17 year old Goku because he had better training and had more fighters that can actually push him.

Watts's plan better go wrong, with turning them against each other, if it goes right it achieves both his goals. Getting back at Atlas for refusing his petty-I mean genius and possibly weakens the Scourge enough to make him vulnerable to kill.
I will say this Eclipse already gotten past how he was when he fought Kron and even more so after training with Team MUNE.
One thing you gotta remember is that the Scourge Troop only had a month of Ki training, which is why even with Crusader Armor which allows them to compete with Maidens they can't stack up to Team RWBY, Kron has effectively changed the standard for strength on Remnant.
Ya one problem with Eclipse refusing to go home is that he is out of the loop, and Roman would definitely try something like that and as you said Eclipse is still less than a year old so it might actually work.
And ya, Raven just fails to understand that Kali showed she cared for his well being, Raven only cared for his strength which only made Kron's violent tendencies worse. Plus she did betray him three times. It's why in One's Many Paths, Kron commits to his mission if he never met Kali, Raven never had any positive influence over him and betraying him only made it worse. It just shows Kali pretty much saved Remnant, Raven almost ended it even if on accident.
Summer probably, she was raising Yang in her place.
I'm happy you have enjoyed what I written so far. And ya, I included Oobleck as a sort of Homage to the original story and also he had to meet Kron, it's too good of a meeting not to make.

Kron's Scoure Troop will declare their name at some point, you'll see.
Eclipse is just getting stronger and stronger, scary thing is, Kron has slowed down to, that may be a problem.
You'll see Adam's reaction soon, not this though but I think you'll like it.
That would be dangerous, we'll see.
Shrine: Yep, there more scared though I mean Kron is seen as the world's strongest and with what little they know he is seen a threat to them, but ya, he's in a crappy position.
Hopefully that does happen even after the upcoming assault.

Well Kron was five when he left Planet Vegeta and Frieza did order the Saiyans to go to Planet Vegeta.

We'll see one thing he doesn't want though is Amaranth finding out about it, if he did who knows what he'd do.
And they have right here and now they have a new challenge. Also Oobleck and Kron do seem to get along, nice that he had a new friend.
