"Don't move or I'll pull the fucking trigger," the thief threatened.
A trembling Buck froze in place while a furious Tommy tried to figure a way out of this. "Take anything you want and just go. We won't say anything to the cops. Leave him alone and I'll go with you," he tried to bargain.
"Tommy," a terrified Buck hissed.
"It'll be okay, Evan." Tommy hoped he managed an encouraging smile but doubted it.
They heard a thump downstairs, and the thief's eyes narrowed. Before he could say anything, Athena burst in, gun in hand. "Let them go and put your hands in the air now!" she ordered.
The thief weighed his options before giving in and surrendering.
