After Jinpachi Mishima was killed,his son,Heihachi took his place as CEO of Mishima Zaibatsu. He also became King of the Iron Fist Tournament. A 16 year old Jin Kazama was seen training when he notice the drones are flying above. They open fire at the house,killing his mother,Jun. Jin checks on the drone he wrecked and learned that it came from Mishima Zaibatsu.
One Year Later,He enters the Iron Fist Tournament where Heihachi announces that if anyone defeats all of their opponents,They'll be facing him as the Final Challenger. Jin meets with his High School Classmate,Ling Xiaoyu,whose grandfather,Wang Jinrei wants her to enter the Tournament with him.

After Roger,the Boxing Kangaroo,won against a living wooden dummy,Mokujin,Heihachi's son,Kazuya won against Bruce Irvin. King fights against Bryan Fury,but gets shot by him. Sergei Dragunov kills Tiger Jackson. Wang won against Baek doo San,Marshall won against Paul Phoenix,& Eddy won against Ganryu. Nina Williams & her sister,Anna won against Christie Monteiro & Kunimitsu. Xiaoyu faces off with Michelle Chang,who Ganryu caught his eye on,& wins. Heihachi's Adoptive son,Lee won against Lei Wulong,a Hong Kong Police Officer. Jin fights with Baek's student,Hwoarang & wins. Kazuya was impressed with Jin's move & reveals that he too had lost a mother.
Round 2:

*Sergei vs Roger
*Bryan vs Wang
*Nina vs Anna
*Lee vs Xiaoyu
*Jin vs Marshall
Kazuya won against Eddy. Roger gets overpowered by Sergei & was killed. Bryan kills Wang,leaving Xiaoyu devastated. Anna won against Nina,Lee won against Xiaoyu,& Jin won against Marshall. Jin comforts Xiaoyu. Heihachi invites him & Kazuya for dinner. Jin confronts him about his drones attacking his house & led to Jun's death,which Heihachi explains that he smell the blood of the demon in him & Kazuya. This makes Jin realize that Kazuya is his father,which means Heihachi is his Grandfather.
Round 3:
*Bryan vs Sergei
*Kazuya vs Anna
*Jin vs Lee
Bryan kills Sergei while Jin & Kazuya won against Anna & Lee. Jin confronts Kazuya,asking him if he's against Heihachi as well. Kazuya reveals Heihachi murdered his mother & nearly him when he threw him over the cliff,but manage to survive & taken care by the G-Corporation before he met Jun before he left her,but didn't notice Jun's pregnancy. Before the Semi-Final begins,Kazuya has advanced into the Final Round. Jin fights with Bryan & finally kills him.
As Jin gets ready to face Kazuya,Heihachi steps in to have them face him as well. Jin & Kazuya both transform into their Devil form and knocked out Heihachi. Jin & Kazuya fought eachother & ends with Jin defeating Kazuya. Jin was about to kill Heihachi,but stops when he sees a vision of Jun. The three Jack robots sent by the G-Corporation,came to eliminate the three. Jin fled Xiaoyu & the other fighters,leaving Heihachi & Kazuya to battle against the robots. After Kazuya took out one of the Jacks,The two begun to self-destruct. Kazuya throws Heihachi to the Robots & fly away,leaving Heihachi to die in the explosion.
Jin & Xiaoyu went to China where They found a lost Panda & raised her.
Mid-Credits: Kazuya arrives at the G-Corporation. It is revealed that he is the Head of it.
Post-Credits: At the destroyed Zaibatsu,Heihachi emerges from the rubble,alive.
