Chapter 2: Go!

"Do you think I should have a hero name, G?" The young 10 year old asked without any warning.

"Huh?" His question was so sudden, that the Galvan in front of him nearly stumbled and tripped into the chess piece she was about to move.

The small, six inch tall grey frog like alien aimed her inquisitive pink eyes at the boy, her eyes narrowing questioningly as she tried to figure out why exactly he had asked that. She looked as though he had asked something stupid, which to someone like her, it probably was.

It was just the young boy in the Rust Bucket right now, as Aunty Ana had gone to grocery shopping. She asked him if he wanted to come with her, but he told her he'd rather stay in the RV and relax. They had just dealt with some villain of the week and he ended up getting hit, resulting in many bruises.

As he was injured and tired, Ana let him stay behind to ice his wounds. However, after just a few minutes, he had gotten bored, as expected, and surprisingly lonely. He wasn't used to being alone anymore after spending almost two months with Ana and his alien companions, so he decided to use the watch as it was probably meant to be used and call someone to hang out with him.

It was a little difficult deciding, since he could only summon one alien, and he now had like, what, over almost fifteen or sixteen now? Some where, unfortunately, easy to cross off the list.

He loved Heatblast, but he wanted to spare Ana from more burnt carpets and chairs. She could control her body and flame's temperature, but when her emotions spiked (like they do when she sees him injured), that control gets thrown out the window.

Wildmutt couldn't talk, which was bad when he wanted to converse right now, and Ripjaws would dry out a lot and be constantly uncomfortable in the Rust Bucket.

Four Arms, Stinkfly, and Cannonbolt were too big for the RV.

Buzzshock and Blitzwolfer were too wild and mischievious.

Snare-oh was way too creepy to be comforting, and purposefully so.

Diamondhead would fuss over him like he had lost an arm, and XLR8 would be wallowing in guilt since she was the one who 'failed' him in that fight, as she had cried back then.

That left the 10 year old with only a few options. Upgrade was awesome, if slightly robotic and super shy, and Wildvine was chill and relaxed most of the time when not fighting bad guys or worrying about her vines or the plants around them. Ark liked both of them, just as he liked all of his alien friends, but he was hesitant to call them in this instance.

There was one thing he was afraid of if he did call one of them, and that was the fact they'd probably try to make him feel better or something. He'd rather not get pity or sympathy or any of that. He just wanted to talk and hang out with a friend. No worrying, no fuss. Just relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

When thinking about it like that, the choice to pick the logical, blunt spitfire that was Grey Matter was obvious.

The moment she appeared in that pink flash, she adjusted to her surroundings before turning to the watch bearer. Her gaze held confusion, concern, and a bit of excitement at first, but after getting a look at the injured 10 year old who had set up a chess board in advance, all those emotions gave way to familial annoyance, though there was still some concern and a bit of amusement in her Galvan pink eyes as she made her way to the board without much question.

She did not ask about the injuries, nor did she press for any details. She mere shot snide remarks at the boy for his casual use of the watch before making the first move on the board.

The two of them had a sort of understanding between each other the other aliens didn't have. While they all cared for each other, the boy could tell the other aliens saw him, rightfully, as a child they needed to protect. The boy understood that, and he didn't have much issue with it aside from the fact that he desperately wanted to help them just as much as they wanted to help him, but sometimes it did get annoying and even suffocating.

However, while Grey Matter showed brief glimpses of concern for him at times, she hardly pampered or hovered over him like the others did sometimes. Not that she was even capable of it. She knew better than anyone she wouldn't be protecting anyone in any situation. She knew her place as the brain and 'tiny alien' of the group and accepted it, even if she admitted to feeling inferior because of it.

In a way, the boy knew exactly how she felt, and despite her not being receptive to the boy when he first got the watch, the two warmed up to each other and now got along surprisingly well despite the biting remarks the alien could give him at times. He knew she never really meant any of it anymore and was just trying to keep up her prideful image of a proud Galvan who knew she was a billion times smarter than everyone else.

Althought, much to the young Ark's amusement, she had to be reminded at times that her high intelligence did not mean she had the same level of wisdom.

Despite that, perhaps that's why the boy trusted her council on certain matters so much. Of course he knew Grey Matter was a genius, that was proven time and time again, and despite her physical weakness and size, she'd had proven herself just as capable as others multiple times.

She would never let him live down the water park incident…

Add that with the fact that she never looked down on the boy, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and the boy found himself asking her random questions without much thought put behind whether he should or not. At this point, she could probably tell him to jump off a cliff because it would save the world or something and he'd believe her.

So when he felt himself worrying about something stupid, Grey Matter was usually the alien he confided in, much to the poor Galvan's confusion most of the time.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand. Could you repeat that?" Grey Matter asked, an eyebrow raised at the sudden random question.

"Do you think I should have a hero name, like you guys?" He asked again as he motioned for her to make her move. The frog alien gave a small nod of acknowledgement as she got back to moving the chess piece again.

"A hero name? You say that as though we have real names." Grey Matter said pointedly as she moved her piece, taking the boy's last rook with glee.

"H-Hey! I'm working on that! And it's hard to name you guys by myself! I'd rather just let you guys do it, but I can only have one of you out here at a time and you're on a time limit, too! We've also been busy with a lot of stuff, too! Vilgax, Roxy, Hex, that giant tick thing, Ghost-" The boy froze before he finished, suddenly freezing up when mentioning the spectre's name. It was as though something had hit him when he thought about that monster.

Grey Matter looked up when the boy stopped talking and bit her lower lip anxiously. He always got like that when speaking about the Ectonurite. She couldn't blame him. They all lost something that day, him more than the others. That didn't make what he said next hurt any less.

"...I never got to give her a name…" He muttered under his breath as he looked down at the board intensely.

Grey Matter managed to catch what he said immediately, her eyes softening as a frown formed on her lips as she held back a wince. Her heart felt tight at the memory, but she didn't let it consume her as she focused on the task at hand.

"Hey, that wasn't your fault." Grey Matter began, but she stopped herself and shook her head with a sigh. He had surely heard that before many times now. He probably didn't believe it or didn't want to hear it anymore. So instead, the Galvan decided to redirect the boy's attention. "Yeah, I think you should have a hero name."

"H-Huh?" That seemed to have done the trick, jarring the boy out of his thoughts as he looked at Grey Matter with slightly widened eyes. "Y-You really think so? I was sorta joking when I asked that. I know I don't do any of the hero work like any of you."

"Ha! As if I do anything hero-like." Grey Matter huffed as she moved over to the boy and jumped onto her usual spot on his shoulder, the game all but forgotten now. "And yeah, you do deserve to be called a hero. You're the only reason any of us are heroes, and you're the one calling a lot of the shots. The others tend to get distracted easily, which I suppose I can forgive since we're all technically the same age as you the user, meaning we're all technically children as well. You've also pulled your weight here and there. Well, maybe a bit more than here and there." She admitted with a teasing smile.

"Then…What do you think I should call myself? I don't got any special powers or talents like any of you."

"Well…I have an idea." Grey Matter said as she stole a glance at the pink and black bulky watch stuck to the boy's wrist. She never told him this, for good reason, but she had an inkling of a guess as to what a device like this was for. Many guesses, actually, but they all stemmed from an idea, and it reminded her of a human story the boy shared with her once. A story about a man told by God to save the creatures of Earth using a large boat. "What do you think of—"

"Ark! I can't believe you're the hero Ark! I can't believe I'm talking to you! In person!" Beast Boy freaked out as quietly as he could and he and the other teens hid in an alley, watching the Gordanians wrecking the city in their pursuit of the Tamaranian girl.

"Not a hero." The teenage Ark immediately snapped back in a mutter, an immediate reflex response to the prompt. "Also, why is my being Ark such a big deal? It's not like I've done hero work recently. I shouldn't be a big deal." Ark asked in slight annoyance as he watched one Gordanian soldier tear open the top of a car before flying off.

"Exactly. The hero Ark disappeared five years ago. Some people thought he was killed." Robin answered as he kept watch of the streets.

"That particular theory was especially scary considering at the time, Ark was just some kid in a hero costume." Hoodie Guy added as he turned to Ark. "You look a lot different now. Guess that's what five years does to anyone."

"Yeah… It's been a little rough these last few months especially." Ark sighed as he played a little with the pink highlight in his hair.

"You said you weren't doing the hero thing anymore. You sure you're okay with this then?" Cloak girl asked him.

"As sure as I can be. Not that I can change my mind now. The watch I use is stuck to my wrist again now. I couldn't take it off even if I wanted to. I'm in this for the long haul. Somehow, even though I'm scared about doing this sort of stuff again, it feels right." Ark found himself admitting.

"That's the same watch you use to summon those aliens, right?" Robin asked.

"Yeah. It's called the Omnitrix, and it lets me summon one of my alien friends to help me. They're the real heroes. I just call them to help." Ark nodded before stealing a glance at the boy wonder. "Were you and Bats keeping taps on me back then?"

Robin growled slightly when he heard his mentor's name, but answered regardless.

"Yeah, we did. Don't take it personally. He does that with everybody."

"I'm not surprised. Never met the guy, but he seems like that kind of guy. I can respect the paranoia and preparation of it, though." Ark shrugged.

"So why did you take the watch off?" Robin asked.

"Personal reasons." Ark replied with a deep frown. "How come you're here and not Gotham City?"

"Personal reasons." Robin answered curtly.

"I see." Ark hummed, realizing something must have gone down between the caped crusaders. That's when Ark realized something and turned to the other teens. "Now that I think about it, we still don't really know each other. If we're gonna be working together, we should at least introduce ourselves properly."

"That's true." Robin said as he turned to the group. "I'm Robin. Nice to meet you all."

"And I'm Ark, as you guys figured out."

"I'm Beast Boy, ex-Doom Patrol." BB added.

"I'm…" The Hoodie Guy began before shaking his head. "Just call me Cyborg."

"Cyborg?" Robin repeated before looking a bit closer at what was underneath that hood, focusing a bit more on the guy's glowing red eye. "Ah." It was a simple hum of acknowledgement from the ex-sidekick, and that was all the acknowledgement Robin gave to Cyborg's appearance, choosing not to ask any questions that would only bring up bad memories, something Cyborg seemed to appreciate.

"And you?" Beast Boy asked the Cloaked Girl. She was silent at first, before finally answering.

"Raven." She said simply.

"Okay. Robin, Ark, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven. Got it." BB repeated as he pointed to everyone before smiling.

"Alright, now that introductions are done, we need to find that girl." Robin began as everyone huddled up. "We need some way to track–"

"She's near." Raven suddenly said, causing the four boys to raise their eyebrows and shoot her confused looks, causing the poor girl to wilt into herself as she sheepishly continued. "I-I can sense things." She explained as she averted her eyes.

"Sense things?" Ark repeated as his mind came up with a few solutions since he knew the girl had magic powers. "Magic sense?" He asked, getting a head shake as a response. "Then… Empath?" He guessed, getting a nod from her. "Ah. That's convenient. Actually, now that you mention it…"

Ark closed his eyes as a soft glow surrounded his hand. He slowed his breathing as he focused on his surroundings as he opened his now pink glowing eyes.

"Yeah… I can feel something to. I think it's her life force. I can feel traces of her mana, and I can sort of sense the area she's at, I think." Ark said as the glow in his eyes died down.

"I didn't know you could use magic. I thought all you could do was summon those cool aliens." BB said.

"Yeah… It's a new thing I learned about before retiring. It's a long story…" Ark said with a slight grimace.

"Couldn't you just summon one of your friends to find her?" Raven asked with a questioning look.

"Yeah, but I haven't used this thing in years. I'm not sure how any of my 'friends' would react to my sudden use of the Omnitrix after all this time." Ark said, choosing to not divulge the fact that he also was still scared about confronting any of them just yet.

"Well, I'll see if I can pick up her scent." Beast Boy said right before he turned into a bloodhound and began sniffing around.

"There's a sonic analyszer built into my arm." Cyborg then said as he pulled up his sleeve to reveal his blue and silver mechanical arm. He tapped on the side of it, making it open up slightly as the device activated. "If she's around, I'll hear it."

"Good." Robin replied as Ark looked a little closer at the arm.

'Oh wow, that's cool. That's some high quality stuff there.' Ark thought to himself as he quickly pulled his gaze away. He wanted to ask how Cyborg got such advance tech, but he felt a question like that would be too insensitive right now. Instead, Ark focused more on feeling out where the Tamaranian was via his magic sense.

After a few minutes, everything seemed to click into place.

"I think I got a read on her direction." Ark said as BB changed back.

"I've got her trail!" He exclaimed as he changed back into a dog. Cyborg's arm then started buzzing too.

"And I can hear her heartbeat."

With three of them locked on to the mysterious alien girl, the five of them ran off to her location. Strangely enough, the place the Tamaranean was hiding out was a random video store. The moment they got there it was obvious she was there, considering the giant hole that was burned through the wall.

Creeping slowly and silently inside, the group found their mark, standing over the convenient stalls eating anything she could get her hands on. Popcorn, candy, wings, apples, trash, even the wrapping. All was consumed at such a rapid pace it was almost like watching a Saiyan eat.

"Oh, that's pleasant." Ark grimaced as he shivered in disgust as he took a few steps back to avoid any collateral food from hitting him.

"Uh…those taste better without the wrapper." Beast Boy offered with a concerned frown.

The Tamaranean froze upon hearing his voice, before tossing away the popcorn bucket she was holding and aiming her hands at the group, her star bolts ready to fire at any time. The group gasped before Robin raised his arms up defensively.

"It's alright. We're friends, remember?" He said, trying to pacify the girl.

"Friends? Why? For what purpose did you free me?" She asked as she stepped closer, forcing the group to back away.

"Just…trying to be nice." Robin offered.

"'Nice'? We do not have this word on my planet." The girl said. "Closest is 'rutha'. 'Weak'."

"Well around here, 'nice' means 'nice'!" Cyborg told her. "And if you want us to keep being nice, you better tell us why the lizard king took you prisoner."

At that, the girl's glowing eyes returned to normal as her expression fell.

"Not prisoner. I am…prize." She told them. That got a few gasps and shocked looks from the group. Ark himself was horrified by the statement as he realized what it meant.

"War…" He muttered. ""Your people… Are they okay?"

"Yes. They were spared, in exchange for my life." The Tamaranean answered. "The Gordanians deliver me to the Citadel to live out my days as their servant."

"And the Citadel are…?" Raven began.

"Not. Nice." Was the answer they got.

"Then you're not going with them." Robin told her. "Not if I have anything to say about it."

"Um, don't you mean we?" Beast Boy corrected.

Before Robin could say anything, a huge explosion, knocked all six of them away. They groaned as they looked at the source. There was a new hole blown into the store, showing a large group of Gordanians armed and ready to fight.

"Seize her!" One of them shouted.

The teens all looked at each other right as the Gordanians charged at them. Without even needing to speak, all six of them got up and rushed towards their foes together. As the other teens began to fight off the Gordanians, Ark dashed to the side and braced himself as he brought his arm out and pressed the Omnitrix's button to raise the dial.

"It's hero time!" He shouted his iconic catchphrase as he slammed a hand on the dial.

He expected the familiar pink glow to burst around him, forming one of his many alien allies to help them out, but instead, all he got was nothing. Ark blinked in confusion as he took his hand off the face plate, revealing the normally pink heart hourglass was now a deep blue. He tried turning the dial, but nothing changed. It wouldn't even raise the face plate for him anymore!

"Oh, c'mon! You're gonna do this now of all times!?" Ark shouted in aggravation as he looked up, only to let out a yelp as he narrowly dodged a spear stabbing his face.

"Ark!" Robin yelled at him as he knocked a Gordanian away with his bo staff.

"Watch!" Ark shouted back as he kicked the spear, throwing it off target as he slammed a hand into the lizard's chest, blasting a small burst of mana to send him flying before returning his attention to the Omnitrix.

"I thought you could do magic stuff!" Cyborg yelled as he slammed his hands down onto a poor Gordanian's skull.

"Remember when I said it was a new thing? Also, I focused more on forming shields and healing! Y'know, defense and support, not offense!" Ark shouted back before roundhouse kicking a Gordanian away. Thank god he took a few martial arts classes, or else he'd be a sitting duck. Still, after messing with the watch again, when all he got was a few alien noises, Ark could only groan. "I've got nothing here!" He shouted as he formed a shield to block some beams aimed right at the Tamaranian.

"Maybe you should have tested that thing before we did this!" Raven told him as she sent out a wave of dark energy, knocking a group of lizards away.

Ark was about to toss out a response, but was interrupted as a big green rhino saved him from a Gordanian that was behind him.

"We'll cover you! You hurry up and figure that thing out!" Beast Boy told him before he transformed into a gorilla and grabbed the nearest downed Gordanian to use as a club. Ark nodded as he jumped behind the nearest counter and began tampering with the Omnitrix once again.

"C'mon, c'mon!" He yelled as he twisted the dial and pressed the buton multiple times, only getting random beeps and noises in response. "Now is not the time for a reboot!"

Just as Ark was reaching his wits end with this stupid watch, that's when the beeping it was making suddenly sped up before it started glowing a bright pink. Suddenly, the Omnitrix was changing. No longer was it a bulky watch. Now, it was had a much more slim, streamlined, modern designed. In fact, it nearly looked like an ordinary human watch if he didn't know better. Ark blinked as he stared at the watch in awe and confusion.

"It never did that before." He gaped as he taped the two buttons on the sides of the faceplate, causing the dial to shoot up, creating a pink hologram above the dial. It startled Ark at first since he was used to seeing the silhouettes, but he quickly adapted as he took a look at the alien being shown.

"Wait… Who is this?" He asked before he turned the dial. Once again, a new face greeted him. As he turned the dial more and more, Ark had a grave realization. "I don't recognize any of these girls!" That gave him many complicated feelings, most of which were negative and sad, but Ark pushed that confliction as he settled on one alien. "Although…under the circumstances, you seem like a good pick!"

With an alien picked and his prayers given, Ark slammed a hand down on the dial. A bright pink flash engulfed the entire video store. That's when Ark began to feel that familiar sensation. He was never able to pinpoint it the first few times he had used the Omnitrix, but overtime, he realized what it was. Wherever he used the Omnitrix and summoned an alien, Ark was always 'connected' to them. It was as though his life became intertwined with theirs through their connection with the watch.

It made him feel stronger. Like he was a part of something greater. Like he was never alone.

He forgot how much he missed this feeling.

Just as the light faded away, a stream of fire burst out and slammed into a row of Gordanians, blasting them through the wall. Everyone stopped as they turned to see who just did that. What they were greeted with was something most of them had never seen, but one person knew what they were looking at.

"A Methanosian?" One of the Gordanians questioned as he stared at the walking plant lady that had fired a stream of fire at his men.

It was true. The being standing in front of Ark was a tall, plant-like alien that looked like her body was made of thick vines covered in muck. She had large, thick stumpy legs with no toes, and her head was composed of red and yellow petals that were forming a flame-shape. Red and green seeds stuck out of her arms and shoulders as the Omnitrix symbol sat on her chest.

"That's right, buster! Prepared to get smoked! No one messes with the Master when I'm on the job!" The Methanosian exclaimed before turning to Ark, who was staring at her with a dumbfounded expression, with a bright smile. "Speaking of which, nice to meet ya, Master! Imma go beat the snot outta these guys for ya! Stay safe until I'm done, 'kay? 'Kay!"

Ark didn't even get to say anything before the alien blasted herself forward with fire, tackling the nearest Gordanian outside the hole she created. Everyone stared at her leaving form before the teens all gave Ark a confused look.

"Don't look at me. This thing got an upgrade. She's new." Ark told them as he gestured to the new, recalibrated Omnitrix.

The others all stared at him with deadpanned looks before they all shrugged and continued fighting the Gordanians, who were all still confused by Swampfire's sudden appearance.

The fight started back up without much effort. The Tamaranean was forced outside as she shot multiple star bolts a the lizards chasing her, causing multiple explosions with each bolt. One of the freaks managed to get close to her and knock her down to the ground, creating a massive crater they tried to pin her down in. Thankfully, Robin was nearby and threw the foe he was tangling with into the Gordanian on top of his ally. The two offered each other a smile before they got back to fighting.

Meanwhile, Cyborg was being pushed back by his own opponent. He dug his feet into the ground, but he was still being pushed by the lizard alien's immense strength. To make matters worse, the freak used his tail to grab Cyborg's leg and pulled it, causing the large teen to fall backwards. Cyborg was fast enough to roll out of the way of a blast, but soon was bombarded by shots.

When the dust cleared, Cyborg's hoodie was destroyed, revealing his mostly metal body. Now even angrier than before, Cyborg lunged towards the nearest lizard and broke his spear before picking him up and throwing them at another group flying in. When more tried to hit him with another barrage, Beast Boy turned into a pterodactyl and flew off with Cyborg in his talons.

The Methanosian then crashed into Gordanians that were shooting at Cyborg like a flaming bullet. After taking them to the ground in a flaming explosion, she smiled widely as energy shots blew through her body, causing her to laugh like it tickled.

"That feels great! Keep it coming boys!" She yelled before a few different shots made of electricity hit her, causing her body to spasm as she yelped. "OW! That hurt!" She shouted as she plucked off some seeds and tossed them.

The seeds dug into the ground before growing into massive vines that grabbed multiple airborn lizards and slammed them into the ground. The plant alien smiled at the work she was doing, but gasped when Ark suddenly jumped in front of her and raised a mana shield, blocking a stream of electric bullets now being aimed at the friendly alien. The Methanosian whistled as she stared at the mana shield, impressed by the sight.

"Wow! I didn't know you could do that. What else can you do now?"

"Plenty, I assure you!" Ark told her before he grunted as his shield began to crack. "Just not much in terms of offense! Little help would be appreciated!"

Swampfire smiled as she jumped up high while the Gordanians were taken aback by the sudden shield and launched another large stream of fire, causing the lizard aliens to scream as they were pushed back further. That's when numerous objects like street lights and mailboxes started to float, dark magic coating them as Raven used them to swat all the remaining foes away.

Now beaten, bruised, and thoroughly humiliated, the Gordanians began to back away from the teens before they all flew away. The group stared at the retreating aliens before the Tamaranean turned to the teens.

"I believe your expression is…thanks." She told them. She then turned to Swampfire and Ark with a questioning look. "You possess the Omnitrix, the most dangerous device in the universe. You must be the legendary Living Ark."

"Yeah, though I usually just go by 'Ark'." He nodded before putting a hand to his chin. "'Living Ark'? Is that what people having been calling me out in space?"

"Interesting. I never thought I would get to met the one who beat Vilgax the Conquerer." She hummed.

"Vilgax?" BB questioned, the name sending chills down Ark's spine as he suddenly felt sick.

"Ha ha ha…yeah, let's not talk about him please." Ark let out a nervous laugh, unsure of what to say when she brought up Vilgax of all people. He would rather just foget about squidface himself, but it would seem he wasn't going to get that chance.

"Oh, man. My suit." Cyborg groaned as he gestured to his destroyed hoodie and sweatpants.

"So? You look way cooler without it." Beast Boy told him.

"Yeah, like I'm taking fashion advice from the guy in the goofy mask." Cyborg frowned as he pointed to BB.

"Goofy!? My mask is cool…isn't it?" Beast Boy asked as he looked around for anyone to tell him yes. "Raven? Ark?"

Unfortunately, all he got were head shakes from not only Cyborg, but Raven and Ark as well.

"But…what about my secret identity?" He asked.

"What secret identity? You're green." Raven pointed out.

BB raised a hand to argue, but found himself speechless. Eventually, he sighed as he pulled the mask off, revealing a mess of green hair underneath the mask.

"So who is this?" Raven then asked as she gestured to plant lady Ark had summoned.

"And why does she smell really bad?" Beast Boy asked as his noise twitched in irritation, causing the Methanosian to glare at the green changeling as she put her hands on her hips.

"Hey! Didn't anyone ever tell you that it's rude to say a girl smells bad?" She pouted.

"I agree that was quite rude. She is a Methanosian. It is their natural odor. I find it quite pleasant." The Tamaranean girl added.

"Ah, I see. Methanosian. Her body makes strong methane gases. That's how she was able to create fire despite being a plant alien." Cyborg hummed as he examined the alien.

"You said she was new?" Robin asked Ark.

"Yeah. I got a whole new set of aliens when the watch rebooted. I've never met her before today." Ark answered as he showed off the new Omnitrix on his wrist. "I…I think I can't access any of the previous aliens I met. I don't see them in my selection anymore. The reboot must have locked them away and given me a new set of 10."

"Why would the Omnitrix suddenly change like that?" Raven asked.

"No idea. Haven't used it in five years. Maybe it was a system update? Technically speaking, the Omnitrix is just a prototype that the creator never finished, so maybe he got to work on it again recently? I'm not informed about these things, and I haven't spoken to the creator even longer than when I last used the watch." Ark sighed before he turned to the alien. "So…uh…Been while since I've done this, but…It's nice to meet you." Ark said as he offered her an hand.

The Methanosian quickly changed from her pouting glare at Beast Boy to a lovely smile to Ark as she took his hand in hers and gave it a firm shake.

"Happy to be here, Master. I'm glad to finally meet ya!"

"Me too, but…don't call me 'Master'. It makes me feel uncomfortable." Ark told her. "Speaking of which, we're gonna have to give you a name. Man…I haven't come up with a name for an alien in forever!" He put a finger to his forehead and repeatedly tapped it against his head as he thought. "What's a good hero name for you? How about…Swampfire?" He tried.

"Swampfire…I like it! Rolls off the tongue nicely!" The newly named Swampfire proudly said.

"Nice. Glad you like it. Hope you don't mind, but we can work on a normal name later. We're kinda in the middle of something right now." Ark told her.

"I don't mind. I'm just happy to have a name now. And a hero name at that? So cool! It's like my whole body is shivering with excitement! I can't wait to get back into the action and be a real hero!" She shouted as she pumped her arms around happily, her eyes shut closed in her excitement. She almost seemed like a little kid despite the Omnitrix creating the aliens to be the same age as the user.

As Ark was thinking about this, a small smile spread across his face, Cyborg suddenly shot him a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

"So…'Master'?" Cyborg suddenly brought up, snapping Ark out of his thoughts and causing him to blush heavily.

"Th-They all have different nicknames for me. Sir, Sire, Boss, Ark, Bro, Kiddo, Kid–That's all it is!" He quickly said. "Although…'Master' is new."

Ark didn't like the implications with that nickname, but he shook his head away from the thought.

"Forget that! What's gonna happen with the Gordanians now?" Ark asked.

"This certainly isn't over." Robin answered with his usual serious tone. "Now that we've interfered–"

"Trogaar will strike harder." The Tamaranean finished for him. "It is only a matter of–"

"Fools!" The Gordanian Leader shouted as the projector they used early came back to life. "The Earth Scum were warned. Your insolence will be punished. Your city shall be destroyed."

The projector turned off as the Gordanian ship flew over the city again, aiming it's main cannon at Jump City. Ark squinted his eyes before they shot wide open.

"That's a particle weapon. It'll be enough to wipe out the city in one shot!" He exclaimed.

"Great…" Raven grumbled.

"So, after trashing the pizza place and a perfectly good video store, now we've managed to make the humongous space gecko mad enough to vaporize our entire town!?" Beast Boy summarized with a look of disbelief.

"Go team…" Cyborg sighed.

"All the fault is yours!" The Tamaranean shouted as she turned to Robin with an angry glare. "I commanded you to leave me alone, but you insisted upon the 'being nice'!"

"My fault!?" Robin screamed back. "You blast me! You kiss me! But you never stop to mention that they have a gigantic particle weapon?!"

That's when the boy wonder and the alien girl began to tear into each other in a huge argument. As this was happening, BB put his hands on his head as he proceeded to freak the hell out.

"We are doomed! I can't believe I let you talk me into this!" He shouted as he aimed an angry look at Cyborg.

"Say what? I was ready to walk before you–"

Now those two were fighting. Perfect! It was doing wonders for Ark's mental state as he felt as though he was going to collapse. Thankfully, Swampfire was there beside him to catch and steady him before he tumbled.

"Woah! Hey, Mas–I mean, Sir. You okay?"

"We're dead. We're dead and I don't know what to do! It's just like when I was a kid! I don't know what to do and everything's resting on my shoulders and I don't want to die or watch anyone die again and I don't how to stop the Gordanians and I don't know how to save the city…!"

It felt as though Ark's heart was going to beat out of his chest or explode as he started having a massive panic attack. Strangely enough, his eyes began to glow a soft hue of pink. He was not ready to do this again after so long. He might have spiraled more into madness if it weren't for a sudden shout.

"QUIET!" Raven suddenly screamed, causing all the other teens to turn to her. The sudden attention on her caused the girl to fall silent as she nervously raised her hand and gave a small wave. "...Hi." She softly said.

Still, she was successful in breaking the teens out of their arguments and spiraling as Robin stepped up with a now-clear head.

"Look, it doesn't matter how we got into this mess. We're in it, and we will get out of it, together."

"C-Can we really? They've got an army!" Ark pointed out.

"We will, as long as we work together. As a team. We can do this. I know we can." Robin told him.

With that said, all the teens looked at each other, before they all nodded. They didn't really have a choice since the city would be destroyed, with all of them destroyed alongside it, if they didn't do anything, but that wasn't why they were doing this. They were going to do this because it was the right thing to do, and because they were the only ones who could do it.

In that moment, they were a team.

"Come on. We've got a city to save." Robin told them.

It didn't take long for the group to come up with a plan once they calmed down and thought about it. All it took was Raven shroading the group in her magic and shifting them through the ship, allowing them easy entry. Ark took a quick look around the ship's interior around after the dark magic faded away. The ship looked familiar, though that was probably just because Ark had been in numerous alien ships at this point and they were all starting to blur together. Still, he had to admit this ship didn't compare to the ship Vilgax had.

Ark's thoughts were cut short when he heard Beast Boy shiver next to him.

"Uh-huh-huh… That dark energy stuff gives me the…" BB trailed off when he noticed the others, most notably Raven, shooting him a look that dared him to continue that train of thought, causing the shapeshifter to backtrack as he forced on a smile and gave Raven two thumbs-up. "Uhh, I mean… It's cool." He said as sweat dropped from his face.

The others pretty much shook their head at the display as they began to make their way through the ship. Robin peaked out of the hall they were in before motioning to the others that the way was clear.

"We have to get to the firing controls." Robin told them in a whisper as he led them through the ship. "There isn't much time."

The Tamaranean, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Ark began to follow after the sidekick. Ark took the time to look down at the Omnitrix as he moved. Swampfire had decided to return to the watch to preserve her and the watch's energy so Ark could get the most use out of it when they got up to the ship. Ark couldn't help but be confused at first before Swampfire explained the new way the watch worked.

Before with the previous model, the watch would allow him to summon one alien for a period of time. Once it was up, it would 'time out', desummoning the alien and taking time to recharge. However, with this new model, that was completely changed. Instead of summoning an alien for a few minutes and then desummoning them to recharge, one alien could be summoned without any timer. Instead, each alien would use their own energy to stay out of the watch, and once they had used it all up, they would return to recharge; however, Ark could still use the Omnitrix to call another alien if that one had energy to use, though if he summoned too many, the watch would start to take a physical tole on Ark himself.

In essence, it gave the aliens more freedom and Ark more options during encounters. It was a nice improvement, one that Ark wished he had back when he was a kid. It would have given him more time to hang out with the aliens since less energy was used when not fighting apparently, allowing an alien to experience 'living' for longer.

Still, since Ark could only summon one alien at a time, he still was left with the problem deciding which one was best suited for the situation, and with a new set of 10 aliens without any of his old twenty to pull from, Ark wasn't sure who to summon for this instance. Someone like Upgrade, Four Arms, Diamondhead, Grey Matter, Frankenstrike, or Calamighty would have been perfect here, but now with the new roster and only knowing Swampfire, Ark felt like when he first got the watch again.

He was going to switch on the watch to get a better look at each girl, but that's when he noticed Raven had yet to move from her spot.

"Hey… Is something wrong?" Ark asked as he moved back to the dark mage.

"It's nothing…" She told him.

"Doesn't seem like nothing to me." Ark replied with a frown. She didn't say anything in response. That made Ark sigh as he tried to find the right words to say. Eventually, he came up with something. "You seem like someone who likes to keep to herself. I'm kinda the same too recently. I haven't been able to make many friends after I stopped being Ark, and while being alone can be nice, a lot of the times it's really lonely. So…I don't think you like being by yourself all the time, either. So how come you are?"

That got Raven to turn to him as she considered his words. Finally, she spoke.

"You heard the kid. I don't exactly fit in." She said, causing Ark to chuckle slightly. He remembered what she said before they found the Tamaranean. How she wasn't the hero type and none of them would want her around if they knew what she was, but that just seemed ridiculous to Ark.

"He's green." Ark began as he pointed to Beast Boy. "He's half metal." He added while pointing to Cyborg. "She's from space." He said as he pointed to the Tamaranean. "He was trained by the freaking Batman." He empathised when he gestured to Robin. "And I have an alien watch stuck to my wrist that summons alien girls." He finished as he gestured to himself. He then flashed Raven a smile as he put a hand on the girl's shoulder as a friendly gesture. "You fit in just fine."

That seemed to reassure the mage, who returned a small smile before moving back to the group. With that done, Ark brought up the Omnitrix again before turning it on, bringing up the projections of the aliens. To his surprise, Swampfire's image had an added energy bar at the bottom, indicating her energy level was not full. That was convenient. Switching to the other aliens, Ark got a good look at them, though he couldn't determine all their powers. Some were obvious, like the dinosaur-like one or the manta-ray alien. Others like the little alien in a strange suit or the one made of slime were more confusing to Ark. Just as he was thinking about who to summon, BB suddenly said something.

"Uh, guys? I think they know we're here." He said panickly as he pointed to the group of Gordanians running towards them. That's when Ark looked behind them, seeing another group approaching. They were surrounded.

"Looks like we've got to fight our way to the weapon controls." Robin hummed as he got back-to-back with the other teens got into a martial arts stance.

"Good. I was just starting to get bored." Cyborg smiled.

"Then let's do it." Ark clenched his fists as he looked at his activated Omnitrix, a familiar, old smile returning to his lips as Ark slammed a hand down on the dial. "It's hero time!"

His shout and the pink flash from the Omnitrix signaled to the others the beginning of the fight. Each teen rushed towards the nearest alien lizard. As the heroes fought, the bright light faded, and beside Ark was another alien. Unlike the plant creature that was Swampfire, this one looked more like a pufferfish.

She was a slightly bulbous alien wearing a black and pink body suit that only went up to her chest, leaving her cleavage and shoulders exposed. She had three spikes sticking out the top and bottom of her head that went back like hair, arms with four-fingered hands, short and stubby legs, and a long tail. Her mouth covers mostly the front of her, filled with pointed teeth, and her eyes are connected to the corners of her lips.

This alien was a Sphoeroid.

Without saying anything and without any hesitation, the strange-looking alien inflated like a balloon. Her body widened as she took in a deep breath, and then, she pointed her mouth towards a group of Gordanians and spat a stream of oozy slime out of her body like a pressure washer. Ark stood beside the Sphoeroid, mouth agape as he watched her 'pressure spit' at the Gordanian horde, turning her head to whip the stream to the side, knocking the lizards in front of them back and sending a few of them few the ship's walls. Once the alien was out of slime to spit, she deflated back to her normal shape before turning to look at Ark. he stared at her for a second before he offered her a meek smile.

"You're a spitter, huh? Good job." He told her as he offered her a thumbs-up.

She grunted as she flashed him a pointy, toothy grin as she mirrored the gesture. She then turned back to the Gordanians that were getting back up, inflated again, and then began to spit her stream of slime once more.

Yeah… Spitter was a good name for this alien.

Ark left Spitter to her own devices as he turned to see Beast Boy handling numerous lizards. Not wanting BB to be overwhelmed, Ark ran over to one of the Gordanians and. while charging mana around his fist, punched the alien right in the face. The gecko stumbled as he groaned and rubbed his face. Meanwhile, Ark let out a yelp as he frantically shook his now scratched hand.

"Scalely jerks, aren't you?" Ark frowned as he looked at the alien he hit. "You should really try lotion. It work wonders–AH!" Ark was cut off as he quickly threw up a mana shield in front of him to prevent a spear from impaling him. "Right… Less talky more fighty!"

"Lord Troggar, the weapon has reached full power."

"Then begin the firing sequence."

The leader of this band of Gordanians, Troggar, huffed after his minion spoke. The dozens of minions on the bridge began typing away, causing a large timer to start counting down on the screen, signaling when the weapon would fire. Troggar smiled as he stood up, seemingly victorious.

"The Earth scum shall learn." He grinned. "It takes more than six juvenile heroes to defy the mighty Lord Troggar."

Just as the weapon began to glow and charge up, as if defy Troggar's previous statement, a large explosion burst through the doors right behind the lizard alien. He turned around swiftly, being greeted by the six heroes he had just taunted and a Sphoeroid of all things.

"We're not six heroes." Robin began. "We're one team."

In complete fury, Troggar let out a vicious, loud roar, commanding his troups to destroyed the heroes. In an instant, all the Gordanian troops were upon the heroes, but they were ready for them.

Robin began by performing a flying leap, knocking a Gordanian back and distracting the others while Cyborg slammed the ground. This created a large shockwave that forced the Gordanians into the air, allowing Beast Boy to jump up as a Kangaroo and wack them all with his large feet and tail and for the Tamaranean to charge up her fists with her energy for heavy punches. Once those two got their fill of hitting the airborn Gordanians, Raven grabbed them with her magic and slammed them back into the ground before Ark directed Spitter to hit them with her slime, knocking the aliens into the wall and knocking many of them out.

Beast Boy landed and began to further pummle Gordanians with his Kangaroo form before Troggar himself snuck up behind him and hit him, sending him flying into a wall. With the air knocked out of him and now incredibly sore from the sudden strike from an alien twice as big as him, Beast Boy tumbled to the ground in a daze. Troggar rushed at him to finish him off, but Raven jumped in the way and formed a shield with her dark magic.

She blocked numerous strikes, being forced back with each one until she was up against the wall besides the green teen she was defending. After she was brought to her knees, Robin lunged and got onto the Gordanian's shoulders, wrapping his arms around the alien's neck in a chokehold. Ark, who was riding on Spitter's shoulders as she spat her slime streams and creating mana shields when needed, turned after blocking energy bolts aimed at the Tamaranean to see Robin being tossed off Troggar. The boy wonder landed on his feet and jumped back and landing a punch and kick on the lizard before being grabbed again and thrown to the other side of the bridge.

"Robin!" Ark shouted as Robin slammed into the wall with a loud grunt before he fell to the ground. Ark snarled and glared at Troggar as he and Spitter turned to face the alien.

"Spitter! Full Force!" Ark shouted as he pointed at the lizard.

The Sphoeroid grinned wicked as she inflated and spat out her high pressure slime stream at the Gordanian Lord. Troggar was forced back into a wall, pinned down by the high-pressure slime. The Tamaranean took advantage of that as she pelted the lizard with star bolts. Spitter let up on the spit as the star bolts flew and exploded against Troggar. Unfortunately, the loss of the spit allowed the Gordanian to jump up and grab the Tamaranean, piling through the star bolts hitting his scales.

Landing with the alien girl trapped in her grasp, Troggar landed in front of Ark and Spitter before using the Tamaranean as a club to knock away Ark and his alien friend. Ark yelled as he and Spitter were knocked backward, and the Gordanian slammed the girl onto the ground a few times. He didn't keep her there for long as a glowing green fist to the face made him let go. As he staggered backward, Cyborg ran up and performed a superman punch on the freak.

As Cyborg landed, the Tamaranean got back up, and Ark and Spitter also recovered from the blow they received. The four of them rushed Troggar. Cyborg and Alien Girl attacked Troggar together with super powered punches, and immediately after, Spitter tossed Ark like a baseball at the lizard as he charged mana around him, forming him into a human bullet that slammed into Troggar's chest. Right after, Ark turned around and charged a foot with mana to kick himself off, letting Cyborg and Alien Girl to follow up with two strong uppercuts.

Troggar staggered back from the multiple blows, but then he smiled widely as he ran back towards the heroes. With swiftness no one of the lizard king's size should possess, Troggar punched Cyborg in the metallic gut, slammed a fist into the Tamaranean's face, grabbed Spitter by the tail, and then used her as a bat to knock Ark and the others away. They flew back to where Robin was recovering. Cyborg's metallic body clanked heavily as a few pieces shuddered from the blow. As Ark groaned and rubbed his head, he turned to where Spitter lay unconscious, and he nearly gasped as pink energy covered Spitter and made her disappeared.

Was that a time out? No, this new Omnitrix didn't time out like the old one. Spitter must have been hurt enough to make her run out of energy to stay materialized. Fear began to grow in Ark's stomach as he feared the damage might have stayed and caused something permanent to Spitter, but hearing the others around him helped ground him.

"Is the one you call Spitter all right?" The Tamaranean Girl asked Ark.

"I hope. I'll have to check her after we're done." Ark let out a tense breath before looking at the others. "So how're we gonna beat this guy? He's built like a tank! Should I try to bring out someone bigger? I saw some bigger aliens in my playlist."

"Not yet. Swampfire told us that using the watch too many times would exhaust you. Save it as a last resort." Robin told him before he turned to Cyborg, looking down at the sonic amplifier in to large teen's arm. "Can you rewire that into some sort of weapon?"

"I can try." Cyborg answered as he immediately got to work. That's when all of them felt something and turned to see Troggar and all his men standing over them, with Troggar grinning as if he'd already won.

"Is this last resort time, Rob?" Ark asked as he, Alien Girl, and Robin got into tired, hurt fighting stances. Luckily—

"Get away from my friends!" Raven, who was supporting Beast Boy back onto his feet yelled as she glared at the alien lizard. That's when she said the magic words. "Azarath metrion zinthos!"

The moment the mantra was finished, Raven's dark soul magic spread like a virus across the entire bridge. In one instance, the entire bridge had turned black, and then the very next, all Ark could see was the massive explosion that engulfed the room. The magic caused the entire bridge to blow up somehow, most likely by frying the machinery in the room. No matter how it happened, it was fast, and none of the teen heroes were injured. It caused the entire ship to fall into the ocean, and when the dust clear, Ark blinked as he saw all the Gordanians collapsed all over the room, the ceiling now blown off.

"Woah…" Ark muttered as he let his arms drop to his side.

"Cool…" Beast Boy added in awe as he looked at the damage done.

While that was a lot of damage, it wasn't enough as Troggar jumped up and spun around to where Raven and Beast Boy were. Beast Boy was still hurt, and Raven had exhausted herself to the point where she could hardly stand while supporting her ally, making them perfect targets for the furious Troggar. He stomped over to them, his claws growing larger and longer as he prepared to cut the teens down a size. But just as he raised his claw, a pulse of condensed, amplified sound slammed into Troggar's back like a laser. That seemed to be the final thing needed to take the lizard down, as he immediately fell over.

Cyborg, who had managed to turn his sonic amplifier into a sonic cannon let out a breath once Troggar fell.

"Alright. I'm only going to say this once." He said calmly as he raised his arm cannon up as it powered down, a large smile beginning to form upon his lips. "Booyah!"

That hit Ark's limit, as he found himself holding his sides as he started laughing. It was slow at first, but it quickly picked up pace. As the stress and tension leaving his body caused Ark to break out into hysterics, it spread to the other teens as they started laughing as well. Even Raven had a small smile and let out a few tiny chuckles.

They had won, and it felt good.

It was the morning of the next day, and Ark found himself on a small little island on the outskirts of Jump City, the same island that one of the landing ships the Gordanians had had landed. The ship was still there, right behind where he was, but it wasn't what he was focusing on. He was enjoying the view of Jump City while sitting on a nearby rock, and he wasn't alone as he soaked in the view. Next to him was his allies. Robin, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy all stood there beside Ark as they took in the lovely sight as well. They all were far more relaxed then the previous night. Raven even had her hood down, revealing her short purple hair, violet eyes, and the red gem on her forhead.

"That's quite a view." Raven hummed thoughtfully.

"It really is something else." Ark smiled. "I forgot this feeling. This is what makes it all worth it in the end. Small things like this view. It's really beautiful."

"Somebody ought to build a house out here." Cyborg nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, if you like sunshine and the beach." Beast Boy smirked as he shot a look and smirk to Raven as he lightly elbowed her. Surprisingly, he got the mage to chuckle ever so slightly as she turned to face him.

"You know, you're kind of funny." She said with a small smile.

"You think I'm funny?" Beast Boy asked as he lit up, as though he was told the best news he had ever received in his life.

"Uh oh." Ark smiled playfully as he saw stars form in the green shapeshifter's eyes as Raven realized just what she had unleashed on herself.

"Oh-ho-ho! Dude, I know some jokes!" Beast Boy told Raven as nervous sweat formed on her twitching brow.

Ark chuckled at the sight before he heard steps behind them. Turning, his smile widened by who he saw.

"Please. I look…nice?"

The Tamaranean girl was with them, and she was finally able to get out of those prisoner garbs she had been wearing. Now she was in something much more traditionally Tamaranean with the purple boots, short skirt, and crop top. The nervous, scared, angry glare she had before had relaxed into something far more pleasant, so much so Ark had to wonder what they had been so scared of when they first met the alien girl.

"Definitely." Ark told her as the others nodded. Robin then stepped towards her as he flashed her a friendly smile.

"We still don't know your name." He brought up.

"In your language, it would be Starfire." She told them.

"Then… Welcome to Earth, Starfire." Robin welcomed her.

"I thank you all for your bravery and help, and I wish to ask permission to remain here. Where the people are most strange, but also most kind." She told them as a light blush entered her cheeks, getting a similar response from Robin.

"You don't need our permission." Raven told her.

"But if you want our friendship, you've got it." Robin added.

"That was a given. Hard to survive an alien invasion together and not be friendly with each other." Ark laughed.

"Guess we could all use some new friends." Cyborg said.

"Besides, we kind of made a good team." Beast Boy smiled.

"We did, didn't we?" Ark pondered.

It was strange. He never considered himself one to join a team like this, but…it wasn't so bad. It worked out pretty well all things considered, and it was nice having someone to back him and the aliens up aside from Aunt Ana.

"I thought we might want to keep in touch," Robin nodded as he pulled something out from his pocket. "So Cyborg and I designed these."

The boy wonder pulled out a few yellow and black round communicators, four in total. Raven, BB, Starfire, and Ark each took one for themselves as they examined them. There was a large 'T' on the back. Ark was fascinated by the device. It was a lot like some Plumbers badges, actually.

"Made them out of my own circuits." Cyborg explained.

"When there's trouble, you know who to call." Robin smiled.

"So…does that mean we're a real team now?" Beast Boy asked before his eyes lit up again. "Ooh! What should we be called?"

"I'm guessing it starts with a 'T'?" Ark guessed as he held up his T-Communicator.

"We were thinking…'Teen Titans'." Robin told them.

"Rolls off the tongue, right?" Cyborg smirked.

"I does have a nice ring to it." Raven admitted.

"How wondrous! It is a grand name for our group of teamwork!" Starfire clapped her hands together happily.

"Well…About that…" Ark began as he frowned. "I…don't know if I should be a part of this. Don't get me wrong. It was great meeting you all and working with you guys, but…I still got something to take care of."

"That alien thing you mentioned yesterday, right?" Beast Boy asked. "You sure you don't want any help with that?"

"Yes. We can most certainly kick the butts of any enemy that may come our way." Starfire nodded fervently.

"I dunno… It's probably really dangerous, and I'm not sure I should get anyone involved with this."

"Dude, we literally just took care of a massive alien invasion. I think we can handle some other alien problem no matter what it is." Cyborg told Ark as he placed a large metal hand on the watch bearer's shoulder. "Besides, I wouldn't feel right letting you handle something like that all by yourself after yesterday."

"Neither would I." Robin added. "Even if you can't stay, we'll always be a call away, ready to help if you need it."

"...You really want to help me with this?" Ark asked.

"At this point, I don't think you can stop us from getting involved." Beast Boy replied with a smirk. That got a laugh out of Ark as he shook his head in amusement.

"If I join, you won't be dealing with just me. You'll have ten and potentially hundreds or thousands of aliens from the Omnitrix joining as well. They're just as much people as we are, so they'd have to be considered members, too, not just part of my powerset." He explained.

"Doesn't sound like a problem to me. We're all a strange bunch." Cyborg brought up.

"Indeed. I would be most pleased to be able to meet and be friends with your alien companions!" Starfire smiled brightly.

"It's as you said. Swampfire and Spitter are practically already Titans themselves. I don't think it be a problem to consider the others Titans." Robin smiled. Ark felt plenty reassured at that as he finally relented.

"If you say so. I guess we'll have to see, although, if we are doing this team thing, I think we have a few more things to take care of."

"Yeah, like a place to live." Cyborg said as he rubbed the back of his head. "Don't know about you all, but I'm sorta…having a situation at home right now."

"I just moved here myself, so I don't have a place to stay, either." Robin added.

"Neither do I. I arrived yesterday, too. My family lives on the east coast." Ark admitted.

"I don't have anywhere to go now that I've left the Doom Patrol." Beast Boy said sadly.

"My situation is…also complicated." Raven frowned.

"Then what are we gonna do? I was going to get an apartment while I was staying here, but I doubt that would work if we're staying here together as a team." Ark asked.

"I don't think we have to worry too much about that." Robin said as he motioned to the Gordanian Landing Ship on the island. The other Titans looked at the ship as Robin's proposition clicked in their minds.

"You're saying we should use the ship as our home and hq?" Beast Boy guessed.

"It is quite large, and it is already here in this wonderful location." Starfire hummed.

"It could work." Raven said thoughtfully as she put a hand to her chin.

"Yeah… It just needs a bit of work." Cyborg grinned, seemingly taking up the challenge himself.

"It's gonna take a while." Ark pointed out.

"Then we should get started soon, shouldn't we?" Robin aid.

Thus, the Teen Titans were born, and their adventures were only just beginning.
