S4 E6 everypony! Bats is up next!

Ever since Malibu and his friends had visited the Castle of the Two Sisters, the Mane 7 eventually decided to give said castle an extreme makeover after Malibu literally begged his mom to do it.

She had agreed from when her son gave her and Luna their old journal which had almost made Celestia cry.

Now they were all inside, touching up on some parts of the castle that needed it the most mostly in the throne room. Malibu himself was cleaning the pillars while Applejack did the decorations, Rainbow and Fluttershy re hung some of the old tapestries along with new ones, and Pinkie Pie at least washed the walls and decorations.

Malibu scrubbed the next pillar as much as he could, hoping to make it look nice since eventually he wanted to have a party here in the castle, Twilight checking on their progress. "Looking good, everypony! Let's keep this magical makeover moving!" She said.

Spike walked in, grinning confidently. "Good old Spike is here, ready to do his part!" He offered, but his friends simply were too focused to pay any attention to him.

He glanced at Malibu. "Hey, Mal, maybe I can help you out? That's a lot of pillars," Spike asked, lifting up a pail, Malibu simply shook his head. "Uh, no, I'm alright, but thanks buddy."

The baby dragon sighed, turning to the others, Pinkie Pie wearing sponges on her hooves. "A little more to the left!" She called to Applejack hanging a portrait. "No, the other left!" Pinkie shrilled again, sliding to the right. Applejack rolled her eyes, fixing the painting again.

"Awesome, that's perfect, right where it is! Onto the next painting!" Pinkie praised, still sliding everywhere, making Malibu laugh. Somehow, Pinkie to him was even more zanier than when first meeting.

"You sure you don't need any help?" Spike asked Applejack who shook her head. "Nah, that's ok."

Pinkie Pie now somehow slid along the walls on her sponges. "We have everything under control!"

Spike looked up at Rainbow Dash. "Dash?"

She pulled out another banner. "I'm good!"

Malibu eyed the little dragon who was rather desperate looking when asking Twilight. "Isn't there anything I can help you with, Twilight?"

Pinkie Pie again slid by. "Don't worry about it, Spike! It's all good!"

Twilight agreed. "I think she's right, it looks like we've got it Spike." She looked happily at all of their cleaning progress. "Looking great, everypony!" She pulled out a comic from Spike's saddlebag which happened to be a series he a while ago introduced to Malibu called the Power Ponies. "Why don't you find a quiet spot and finish reading your comic? Aren't you right at the part where Hum Drum was about to stop the villain?"

Malibu himself inclined his ears to listen, rather interested when Spike waved his hand. "Hum Drum never stops the villain, he's just there for comic relief!" At those words Spike accidentally stepped into a bucket. Glaring, Spike grunted when struggling to get it off.

Twilight then was distracted. "Rarity, lemme give you a hoof with that!"

Spike popped the bucket off finally. "I could do it!"

"No, that's ok, Spike, really." Twilight claimed, dismissing him again, which now was making Malibu feeling a little bad for rejecting the baby dragon's offer earlier.

"Pony Power!" Squeed Pinkie Pie while continuing to scrub the floors. Spike sighed, going off to find a solitude spot, Malibu putting down his cleaning sponge and going to see if he could cheer him up.

He soon found Spike in the lounging room for the Sisters, reading his comic book. Knocking, Spike jumped at the sound of his entrance. "Oh, hey Malibu." He muttered, looking away.

Malibu's ears low, he sat down with his adoptive brother. "Uh, sorry about earlier Spike. If-if you want to still help—."

Spike shook his head. "Nah, I'd probably break a pillar anyway. But, I am on a cool moment here if you want to read with me."

The teal alicorn grinned, looking forward to having a small break. "Sure." He leaned over, reading alongside Spike who eventually groaned. "Ugh, what a surprise! Hum Drum is in the way again while the Power Ponies do all the work! I guess I know what that feels like…" He muttered.

But Malibu had noted there was only one Power Pony among the group that was male, which intrigued him and his superpower was the ability to be camouflaged, hence the name Cloakwing. Spike suddenly gasped, and Malibu too was stunned when seeing that there was no more of the comic after that page.

"Huh? Did you only get half of the book Spike?" Malibu asked. Spike shook his head. "No, and how can it be the end?"

He spotted a small bit of wording in the corner of the blank page, squinting as hard as he could. "What's… that?" Spike struggled to read it. "You can… retr… you can… return…" the baby dragon moaned, covering his eyes. "I know I saw a magnifying glass laying around the last time I was here."

Malibu helped him look while the rest of the 6 ponies were looking for them. Soon Malibu was able to find a magnifying glass that Spike had been looking for, both of them peeking into it.

"Well? What does it say?" Malibu pressed, making out a couple words, allowing Spike to say them aloud.

"You can… return to the place you started when the Mane-iac is… defeated." Spike read, making the two brothers rather confused.

Malibu scratched his head. "I have no idea what the heck that means." He said, Spike nodding in agreement. They both ignored the callings of their friends when continuing to read the message. "Take a closer look, to join the adventure in this book? Ok, this is confus—."

The baby dragon couldn't even finish his sentence when a bright flash emerged from the comic, Malibu jumping back in surprise and fear, his mane bushed out. "Whoa, Malibu! This is cool!"

Malibu reached out. "Spike, whatever you do, don't touch it!" He shouted, not wanting to know where that strange portal led to.

Twilight at that moment emerged, with the others, staring in shock at the sight of the strange light. "Guys, what are you?!"

Spike then felt a force pulling him inside, his eyes rounding in fear. "Heeeelp!" He shrieked, Malibu grunting when trying to pull him back out, his hooves sliding along the floor, heart thumping a million miles, now feeling his body halfway through the portal.

The others gasped, rushing forward, Twilight grabbing Malibu's tail, along with the rest of the girls doing so minus Pinkie Pie. They all screamed when finally being sucked inside, Pinkie Pie jumping after them. "Weehee!" She cheered, the comic closing on the Mane 7, revealing Mane-iac on the front cover, smiling evilly.

Malibu felt like he had a headache, opening his eyes, hearing the sound of city noises. His vision coming back into focus, he stared in shock at the sight of the new city surrounding him everywhere, spotting his friends all lying down on the ground, looking like they wore super hero outfits.

"Oh, my head…" Malibu groaned, also feeling new clothes all over him which looked like some kind of outfit connected with camouflage. He heard Applejack's voice then. "Can somepony tell us what the hay is goin' on?"

Spike himself was in an outfit too, and his jaw dropped. "Holy new personas, ponies! He looked at Twilight. "You're the… Masked Matterhorn!"

Pinkie Pie wore a flashy white pink striped suit. "Filli-Second!"

Rainbow Dash's hair was more puffed than usual, wearing a thunderbolt necklace and a black outfit. "Zapp!"

Rarity herself was fashioning a diamond like costume, smiling and looking pleased about it. "R…Radiance!

Applejack stood strongly, striking a pose. "Mistress Mare-velous!" Fluttershy looked from behind, trembling all over in her pink and green outfit, her mane flowing. "Saddle Rager!"

Spike stared in admiration at Malibu's outfit, his mouth in a huge grin. "And… and… Cloakwing! You're the… Power Ponies!" He exclaimed.

Malibu's wings opened, unsure how to take this all in. "Power Ponies?!" He roared, right as a wall in a building broke down, causing the 8 of them to turn to who did it.

Green vine looking things came out, which revealed to be part of a mare's mane. She was a gray earth pony mare, with red eyes like Malibu and her mane appeared to be alive. She cackled. "Power Ponies! How kind of you to join us!"

"Huh?" The Mane 7 all asked, Malibu not liking the look of this mare who was cackling insanely, holding an electrical looking glass orb. She kept laughing madly, Applejack raising her brow. "Did she just call us… Power Ponies?"

"Yeah. Spike, care to elaborate?" Malibu demanded, glaring with his ears lowered in anger.

Spike trembled but spoke up. "You're the… superheroes from my comic book! It somehow zapped us all in here!"

Rainbow was just as pissed. "So somepony zap us back out!"

The baby dragon swallowed. "My comic book. It said the way to get back to where we started was to defeat the Mane-iac! Your arch nemesis!"

Malibu groaned again in irritation. "Oh, perfect, now we gotta roleplay as fantasy superheroes?" He muttered, looking at his own outfit, wondering how he could even use the powers his character had.

Mane-iac eyed her nemesis with evil glee. "Time for the 'mane' event!" She taunted in a pun, grabbing a mailbox, tossing it the Mane 7's way who all yelped, Malibu ducking and using his alicorn magic to make a shield, only for the others to see him turning invisible, the mailbox not even hitting him!

"Where is he?!" Rainbow Dash cried out, searching for her special somepony but then SPike had an explanation. "Malibu is Cloakwing! He has the ability to turn invisible, and phase through solid objects even when they are thrown at him!"

Applejack whistled, right as Malibu reappeared again, unharmed, looking rather flustered from his new ability. Mane-iac growled, throwing another large item from the streets this time at Pinkie Pie but it didn't even hit her either.

"Whoa, where did Pinkie go?" Malibu yelped, suddenly seeing a pink light streak zipping along the city streets.

Spike grinned. "She could be miles away from here by now! Pinkie is Fili-Second, the fastest pony in all of Maretropolis!"

Applejack next pulled out her rope, tossing it Mane-iac's way but it started to glow then yanked her off the roof, tying her to a lamp post. She grunted, struggling to get out.

Mane-iac kept up cackling like an insane psycho, Spike turning to Twilight in a panic. "Twilight, freeze her mane!"

Twilight blinked a few times. "Do what?"

"You're the Masked Matterhorn! You can shoot all kinds of crazy power beams from your horn!" Spike explained, making Malibu chuckle inwardly since she could already do that with her alicorn power.

Twilight looked up at her horn, then did her best to shoot out a magic beam, only to have a couple weak snowflakes come instead. Malibu had a hard time holding in his laugh, making Twilight glare back at him, Mane-iac not helping matters.

"You know, I'm beginning to enjoy this!" She taunted, Malibu stopping his laughing, turning and frowning. "Oh yeah, well, we will stop you Mane-iac!"

She waved her tentacle mane, giving Malibu a flirty look now. "Oh, now, now Cloakwing, you wouldn't attack little old me? Your special somepony?" Mane-iac mocked, making Malibu stare in disbelief, looking at Spike questioningly.

Spike flushed. "May have forgotten to mention in the prequel comics Mane-iac before getting tentacles had, a love affair with your comic book counterpart." He said in a chuckling way, Malibu moaning in dread, wishing now he was anypony else other than Cloakwing. Why must he be the love interest for the villain?

The baby dragon looked at Zapp then now. "Dash, quick! You're Zapp, and your superpower is controlling the mighty forces of nature!" Rainbow tilted her head. "Unholster the lightning bolt!"

Malibu watched his special somepony lift up her necklace, directing the skies down to her to unfortunately make a tornado, the others backing up in fear, Malibu feeling himself being swept up by it. "Lightning! Not a tornado!" Shrieked Spike, getting pulled in too.

Pinkie Pie had by now run back with her super speed, eating cupcakes she stole from a store when to her surprise, spotted the tornado and was also sucked into it.

Everypony screamed, Malibu trying to use his wings to keep himself from spinning out of control as Spike called to Fluttershy. "Fluttershy! You're Saddle Rager! Lose your temper, and you'll turn into a huge, super-strong monster!"

Fluttershy tensed up. "Oh, gosh! That wouldn't… be very… polite!" She whimpered, Malibu rolling his eyes but hearing that from Spike made him recall a story from his world about a man who could turn into a huge green giant when he was angry too.

He heard Spike call to Rarity now. "Rarity! Use your jewelry to create attack constructs!"

Rarity turned in fear. "What's an attack construct?!" Malibu also wanted to know.

"Just think of something, anything, and your bracelet makes it appear!" Spike roared, which had Rarity nod, concentrating with her bracelet, only to have it make a tea set of all things. "Something useful!" Spike complained.

The tornado kept on spinning until Malibu and Spike were both tossed out of it, Malibu feeling terribly dizzy again, seeing the electric ball from before. "The Electro-Orb!" Spike gasped, as he went to go and take it.

Mane-iac wound up spotting Malibu. "Hmm, hello my special somepony. How nice of you to finally join and watch the tornado with me." She moved in closer, Malibu shaking slightly and trying to back away from her, only to feel her tentacles grip his stomach and arms, making him grunt in fear, getting lifted up close to her face.

She traced a hoof along his cheek, and he shoved it away. "Don't touch me! I don't even know you!" Malibu roared at Mane-iac. Mane-iac put a hoof on her heart in fake sorrow. "I'm wounded, Cloakwing. We were so close. If only we can be like that again." She cooed, smiling in a simpering way. Malibu shook his head wildly, turning to Spike.

"Spike! Help!" He yelled, squirming further until Spike looked over. "Malibu, use your phasing ability, and you'll be able to get out!"

Before Mane-iac could do anything to stop him, Malibu shut his eyes, concentrating with his horn lighting up, and disappeared again, managing to slip through her tentacles, making Mane-iac yell in fury as he showed himself after.

"Those powers of yours won't keep you away from our love bond forever!" She shrieked, her red eyes crazy, before Spike then tripped, dropping the Electro-Orb. She took it into her hooves. "Why, thank you, Hum Drum!" Mane-iac mocked, swinging away through the city buildings, cackling madly.

Malibu trembled when landing while Spike looked over with his costume, his face surprised. "I'm Hum Drum?" Then the tornado was back, pulling him in, Malibu flapping to keep himself from getting sucked into it again.

Spike called out to Applejack. "Applejack… you gotta… help stop the… tornado from destroying… the city!"

Applejack grunted, still tied up. "But every time I move, this darn lasso gets tighter!" She screamed, the lasso tightening again.

"You're psychically connected to it! Point it to where you want it to go! And it'll obey you!" Spike yelled, Malibu watching Applejack smile, thinking now to have the lasso untie her, then directed it to grab the tornado, and causing it to disappear in an explosion, freeing the others.

Pinkie Pie giggled, zipping about with her speed. "That was spin-tastic!" She squeed, Rarity using her jewelry to have her land safely.

Applejack then turned to Spike, a lot of questions clearly in her eyes. "Lemme get this straight: We've been sucked into some kind of comic-book world?"

Malibu nodded. "Pretty much." He said.

"Technically, it's called Maretropolis. And if we wanna get back to Ponyville, I think we have to stop the Mane-iac from using her doomsday device to destroy it!" Spike explained.

Rainbow Dash grinned quite big, admiring her pendant. "No biggie. I was already awesome, and now we've all got superpowers!"

Spike sighed in dejection. "Almost all of us have superpowers." He said, making Malibu feel sorry for him.

Rarity lifted up his cape. "But you must have them too, Spikey-boo. Your character is wearing a cape."

The baby dragon shook his head. "Yeah, for absolutely no reason. He's pretty much useless."

Twilight gave him a relieved smile. "Good thing you're not really Hum Drum then." Spike laughed nervously. "Yeah. Good thing…"

Malibu however, didn't want to waste anymore time. "So, what now?" He asked. Rainbow looked at him. "Isn't it obvious? The 7 of us Power Ponies will take care of Mane-iac, and get us back to Ponyville!"

"Spike, where is the Mane-iac building her doomsday device?" Twilight Sparkle asked Spike since he knew the most about all this.

Spike thought then spoke. "Her top-secret headquarters! But you'd better get there quick! That glowing orb she just stole is what she's going to use to power it up!"

Applejack stood confidently. "Lead the way, Spike!"

Rainbow nodded. "Then lead the rest to us!"

Spike sighed dejectedly from that, then he got an encouraging smile from Malibu which made him a little better.

After some time walking, they managed to find the secret lair which had a shampoo logo on it. "There it is!" Spike whispered.

AJ raised her brow. "Is that a… shampoo factory?"

Malibu shrugged from their hiding spot. "Apparently so." He muttered, figuring that had something to do with her mane going all crazy.

Twilight turned to face the others. "All right, Power Ponies. Here's the plan. Rarity, you, me and—."

Rainbow Dash interrupted from above. "Come on out, Mane-iac! Or the Power Ponies are comin' in!" She sent a lightning bolt to zap the sign, Malibu flinching from how loud she was.

"So much for the 'element of surprise'," Twilight grumbled, Malibu agreeing while Spike hung back. "Guess I'll just hang back here don' nothin'."

The 7 friends stood there, Fluttershy smiling nervously. "Oh, I don't think she's home, maybe we should just come back later."

Her face filled in fear as a devilish laugh rang out, chilling Malibu to the core as well. Rairty's ears were low. "She's home!"

The door opened, revealing the henchponies of the Mane-iac while Malibu and his friends all stood in their battle stances, Malibu glaring at their rivals. "Time to Power Pony up!" Applejack called out, Pinkie Pie running in place. "Ooh! Nice catchphrase!"

Malibu chuckled but then went serious, running into battle with the rest of his friends, using his phasing and invisibility to take out his opponents, back kicking several of them while invisible, watching Twilight light up her horn. "Freeze ray!" Only a snowball shot out, hitting one stallion in the face but he just shrugged it off.

Twilight Sparkle looked down dejectedly, Rarity smiling at her on a flying carpet. "It's an improvement, darling!" She encouraged.

Next Pinkie used her super speed to zip around everypony, tapping them on the shoulder then throwing a cake into another goon's face, giggling all the way, Malibu knowing that super speed was definitely something for Pinkie Pie to have.

Rainbow Dash's eyes glowed when summoning more lighting, zapping a goon whose hair was all burnt. "My hair!" He sobbed, making Malibu roll his eyes at how pathetic he was.

Fluttershy was still hiding behind a mailbox, not even wanting to be angry. Malibu went to check on her. "You really aren't angry about all this right now?" He asked gently, seeing her shake her head no.

Twilight grinned when they obtained all the goons in their way, Rarity tying up one with a rope she conjured up, Malibu feeling pleased with himself and his power. "Nice work, Power Ponies! Now let's take care of the Mane-iac and get ourselves home!"

Mane-iac came out at that moment, holding a giant hair spray bottle, grinning sadistically. "I don't think so! I have a city to destroy, and I'm not about to let the Power Ponies stop me! Not this time!" She roared, Malibu glaring back but wondered what happened between her and the real Cloakwing to get her to be this way.

Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes. "Just watch us!" The 6 of them ran together side by side to take down their final enemy, only for Mane-iac to spray some kind of pink mist, which froze all of them in place. "The hairspray ray of doom! It stops you in your tracks and renders your powers useless!" Spike cried out too late in warning.

Malibu grunted, struggling to move but he was completely stiff, eyes rounding as Mane-iac came over. "Hmmm… I think I like you that way, dear Cloakwing. At least I can… have fun with you." She stroked under his chin, Malibu flinching with what strength he had left.

"I-I'm not Cloakwing!" He roared, but Mane-iac didn't buy it. "Don't deny it Cloakwing. You still pine for me, I know you do. Now come along." She lifted Malibu with her tentacles but not before freezing Fluttershy, taking her too.

Spike shielded his eyes. "Don't spray!" He wailed, Mane-iac laughing again. "Oh, Hum Drum, why on earth would I use the Hairspray Ray of doom on you? Rather pointless, don't you think?" She teased, ordering her goons to bring the others in while she carried Malibu and Fluttershy, the garage door slamming shut.

After it was all quiet, Spike went to find an entrance into the lair though reluctantly, talking to himself.

"What am I supposed to do, I'm useless. no wonder my friends never need me to do anything important, they're the ones with the superpowers. They've probably already figured out how to escape."

The floor beneath the pipe opened, Spike falling down right into the lair where they were held hostage, his eyes popping. "Or not!"

He could see his 6 friends in a cage, along with Malibu held in Mane-iac's lap as she had another smaller spray that kept him frozen. His face was looking disgusted and frightened.

After spraying the other six again, Mane-iac smiled when sitting on her doomsday device. "Congratulations, Power Ponies! You shall live just long enough to see me fire… the instrument of your destruction!" She placed the Electro-Orb into the power source. "Once the Electro-Orb has powered it up completely, the cannon will amplify the power of my mane one million times, expelling an energy blast that will cause everypony in Maretropolis's mane to grow wild!" She laughed uproariously.

Malibu didn't like the sound of that, feeling quite stiff, as Mane-iac decided to stroke him. "And with you by my side, little Cloakwing, our relationship can be even more lovely, watching everypony scream from their manes turning on them. Wouldn't that be fun?"

Before Malibu could try to speak, he suddenly let loose a yelp when Mane-iac planted her lips onto his, anger arising in his belly since this was the second time another nasty female ever dared to do that who wasn't Rainbow Dash, heart beating until she released him.

"We're… nothing… Mane-iac! Don't you get it?! Just stay the hell away!" He roared, his eyes glowing red which surprised Mane-iac since the real Cloakwing didn't have that.

"You'll change your mind when I use the doomsday device on your friends. And there's nopony who can save them or you from this fate!" Mane-iac laughed aloud, turning Malibu to watch but then Fluttershy cleared her throat. "I don't mean to interrupt, but aren't you forgetting about somepony?"

Mane-iac raised her brow. "Hum Drum? Little guy? No superpowers whatsoever? He's utterly USELESS!" She screeched. After being sprayed again she continued. "Puh-lease, everypony knows you keep him around because you feel sowwy for him, wah. Wah!"

That angered Malibu from her mocking until Twilight defended the baby dragon. "Maybe in your world. But in our world Spike— uh, Hum Drum always comes through when we need him! Always!"

Malibu smiled as did Spike, who wiped his eyes. He was disgusted when seeing that tentacled mare laying her lips onto his brother. "I'm not like Hum Drum! And when my friends need me they do come through! And they need me now!"

He spotted the tarp that had covered the doomsday device around the henchponies, grinning with a plan in mind. Spike snuck along while Mane-iac delivered her speech of triumph. "I see dementia must be a side-effect of prolonged exposure to the Hairspray Ray of Doom." She turned to her minions. "Tonight, we stand upon the brink of immortality, for we collectively—though mostly me—have finally defeated our most hated nemeses! And I shall have this one as my mate back again!" Mane-iac grinned, stroking Malibu's cheek who hoped somepony could come before he lost his virginity to this psycho.

Spike went attaching the holes of the tarp to chains so he could create a bag to hold the goons inside, managing to do three of them so far.

Mane-iac said her final words. "We have hurled the brush of badness into the now fearful face of goodness, and have struck a blow for freedom in the name of oppression! And nothing will stop US!" She shrieked, cackling right as Spike attached the final chain, wrapping a box with the chains, tossing it over the edge of the railing. Mane-iac heard the rattling and saw the red tarp snatching up almost everypony down on the ground thanks to Spike, glaring in shock.

The stallion in charge of spraying the Mane 7 heard the timer, then turned only for Spike to swing on a rope, kicking him down along with the hairspray can, freezing a lot of the henchponies remaining.

Malibu's eyes widened when seeing that, smiling at the sight of Spike coming to their rescue, Spike swinging again, grabbing him away from Mane-iac who roared in fury. "Thanks, bro, but a pretty close call." He muttered, feeling his muscles beginning to move again. Spike shrugged with his smile. "I always will come through."

Twilight looked proud. "Way to go, Spike!" She stretched her hooves as they all began to move once more, Rarity creating a big nail filer she used to knock the cage open, the girls jumping out to fight everypony there.

Fluttershy stood there, trying to summon her anger while Malibu flew around, using his powers on the henchponies. "Get mad!" Rainbow exclaimed. Fluttershy trembled. "I'm trying!"

Pinkie Pie raced about, doing a game of 'tag' with the henchponies. "Tag, you're it! Tag you're it! Tag you're it! Tag you're it!"

Mane-iac's eyes were wild with rage. "Over there! There! Idiots!"

Twilight upon being able to control her powers, sent a wave of ice making the floor frozen, the goons sliding and hitting the wall.

Rainbow Dash summoned a tornado again right there in the room which surprised Malibu who thought they wouldn't dare try doing that again, whisking up the henchponies in it. "Need a place to put these guys!" She called to Rarity who was happy to oblige, creating a fancy jewel cage and throwing them in.

Applejack herself had gotten the hang of her telekinesis with the rope, swinging it in the air. "Hold it right there, partner!" She grabbed the lead henchpony, tying him and his friends up, hanging them from a beam.

It was now literal chaos, the Power Ponies easily taking down every villain there in the garage, Malibu having quite a good time, but saw Fluttershy about to leave. "What is she doing?" He asked in surprise, running over, Fluttershy jumping from his approach.

"Flutter, why are you leaving?" He pressed in concern, Fluttershy looking upset. "You seem to have everything under control."

Spike shook his head. "Fluttershy, we need you! You have to power up!"

Meanwhile, Mane-iac saw the three and grinned, knowing this was her chance to zap them with her doomsday device, taking aim. "I'm sorry, it's just… nothing is making me mad." Fluttershy said sadly right as a firefly flew in view of Mane-iac's target.

She raised her brow, flicking it away who squeaked, hitting the wall and falling down. Fluttershy gasped. "Oh, goodness! Are you ok?" The firefly nodded but that for sure would make her furious.

Malibu backed up as Fluttershy turned, her eyes crazy now. "Are you kidding me? I mean, I know you're evil and everything, but you hurt a teensy, little, harmless firefly?! Really?! Well, you're just a great big meanie!" Her voice grew deeper, Malibu feeling excited but nervous as Fluttershy's powers began to finally show, Mane-iac also looking worried. "There, I said it! What makes you think you're so special?! Like the rules of common courtesy don't apply to you?! WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMPONY YOUR OWN SIZE?!"

Her voice was so deep, her body growing terribly muscular and large, eyes glowing red, and her costume nearly ripping apart until she turned into literally a Hulk, roaring in outrage. Mane-iac in her panic tried to use the ray, but when firing it all Flutterhulk did was block it with her chest, sending it right back to the owner. Mane-iac screamed, falling to the ground, Flutterhulk next charging at the gun, roaring and smashing it to pieces, Malibu and the others staring with their jaws dropped. Rule number one, never make Fluttershy mad!

She soon came to her senses, spitting out a piece of metal, tapping her hooves together in her awkwardness.

Malibu turned to the voice of Mane-iac. "My mane! My maaaaane!" For it was turning on her from the gun's effects, wrapping her up in a cocoon of tentacles, watching her laughing like a madwoman, making him lower his ears, wishing now he could help Mane-iac but she seemed to be too far gone.

Rainbow Dash placed a hoof of comfort on his shoulder which he accepted, as they all struck a pose of victory. "Once again, the day is saved by—!" Spike began to say until the portal opened; sucking them all back through to the Sister's castle!

…

All 8 of them grunted when hitting the floor, back to their normal selves and feeling relieved but happy they've gone on that adventure.

Rainbow Dash grinned. "Awesome!" She cheered.

Applejack reared a little. "Whoo-ee!"

Malibu flapped his wings. "Despite me being the love interest to the villain, that was pretty cool." He admitted, the rest of them all chattering together.

Rainbow Dash swooped in the air a little. "Did you see how I was raining down a storm of justice at the end there?!"

The cowmare nodded. "You catch on how I was wieldin' that lasso?"

Pinkie Pie popped in with a platter of cupcakes. "Cupcakes?"

It made the clone gargoyle stare in surprise. "What? How did?"

The party pony shrugged. "Eh, we had a good half-second before we got sucked back out of the comic, and the Maretropolis bakery was only sixty-five blocks away!"

Twilight looked over to Malibu who just rolled his eyes, but chuckled. "If you say so."

Spike sighed in relief, flopping on some pillows. "I'm just glad to be back."

The new princess put a hoof on his arm. "We wouldn't have made it without you, Spike. And I hope you realize, that just because we don't always need your help, doesn't mean that we don't think you're helpful."

Malibu grinned, knowing they had to write that in the journal as Spike agreed. "And you don't have to have superpowers to be a super friend!"

The others agreed, until Twilight had a question. "But I do have one question. Where exactly did you get that comic book?"

Spike held his arms behind him. "This one I got in Canterlot at the House of Enchanted Comics!"

It made the teal alicorn face palm. Of course it was from some place like that. Spike blushed. "Well, I didn't know it meant they were literally enchanted!"

Everypony else mostly laughed while leaving together. "I thought it just meant, like, the comics they sold there had really enchanting storylines!" He noticed them leaving without him. "Hey, wait up! I'm an important part of this team, remember?"

When he glanced behind, Malibu thought he saw the magic comic disappear in a flash of light. At least nopony else will get pulled into that thing again.

I think I had even more fun with this episode than the previous because of all the superpower stuff in it. And decided to add in the idea that Cloakwing had a love affair with Mane-iac before she became the villain.
