Chapter 157:The Sound of Silence.
Seven's team spread out along the ground and moved slowly forward up the hill towards the factory that housed the Enclave position.
They had spent the last couple of hours watching the place as best they could through the thick fog and thanks to Click's sonar and his telekinetic version they had a fair picture of the comings and goings happening inside the compound through the inside of the building itself was still a mystery.
Though thanks to Click's knowledge of the floor plan they at least had the layout down to pat.
A high-frequency pulse hit the top of Seven's head making his skull vibrate and he knew that Click was giving him the signal that his side was currently clear so he moved forward slowly up to a large wall that surrounded the factory.
There was a hole in the wall about ten feet to Seven's left that had a makeshift barricade blocking it up made from debris from inside the factory itself that the Enclave soldiers had blatantly used to try and ensure that none of the local fauna got into the compound while they were there.
But this wasn't going to stop Seven and his crew as he simply lifted the entire thing with his mind and simply moved it out of the way by using his Telekinesis like an invisible shrink wrap to hold everything in place until they were all inside after which he simply place it back where he found it.
This ensured that the movement was as silent as possible as he and one part of his team slipped inside the outer walls.
On the opposite side of the compound, Seven knew Visa and her team of Gatorclaws would be doing the same thing without the aid of his Telekinesis, though given that Visa's group was made up almost entirely of Gatorclaws he doubted they needed the help in the moving-heavy-shit department, though the being quiet department was another matter entirely.
This point was made abundantly clear only moments later when there was the distinct sound of a Claw battle cry from the other side of the compound.
"Shit looks like we've been made, everyone go loud!" Seven yelled raising from his covered position to bring his gun up so he could lay down cover fire for his team to move.
Even as he was stepping out of cover fire began to cut through the air across the courtyard, these ESF guys were not fucking about, to say the least.
By the near-constant stream of red laser bolts cutting through the air Seven knew that there were at least two laser Gatling guns in play here and by the way they were moving it appeared that the sentries were retreating towards the building.
Seven knew that they could not afford to allow these guys to bunker down or they would be an absolute nightmare to dig out given their heavy firepower and armour.
That's when he heard Click's desperate cries drawing his attention towards some angled windows in the roof of the building.
"Everyone get ready to breach!" he yelled into the comms just as he heard the telltale sound of heavy power armour meeting armoured Gatorclaw tail from over the other side of the courtyard.
There was a yell as someone wearing an odd-looking suit of power armour was sent sailing into the side of the building where they hit it with enough force to actually make a person-shaped indent in the brickwork.
This was followed by the telltale slapping of heavy tail on concrete which let Seven know exactly who'd done the hitting.
Seven's team stacked up on one of the doors with Shuna second in the stick behind Timothy who was now holding one of the heavy Gatorclaw riot shields in one hand and a plasma pistol in the other.
"Breach!" Seven yelled hitting the door with enough telekinetic force to burst the whole thing inwards like it had been hit with a wrecking ball.
From the other side of the compound there was the sound of a couple of hundred pounds of scaly fury colliding with metal as Visa's team just simply kicked their doors clean off their hinges and into the building before rushing in to cause havoc.
As both teams rushed inwards Seven himself propelled himself into the air above the building before simply letting himself drop.
There was an almighty crash as Seven burst clean through the skylights of the roof and dropped into the room, hitting the floor with an almighty boom.
As he stood up he instantly noticed that he had stopped exactly where he had hoped he would, right in the middle of the Enclave defenders who were in the process of digging in and trying to repel his team.
Funny how a ton of steel-plated angry man as well as two armoured and angry Cazadors dropping into the middle of your party can really make the best-laid plans go to shit real quick.
Seven wasted no time putting his Telekinesis to good use by pitching the defenders out of their carefully laid fall-back positions and out into the open, which put them right in the line of fire of his teams.
From one side plasma and laser bolts were sailing in from Timothy and his team, while on the other there were massive rebar bolts being fired from Gatorclaw-powered crossbows while Visa and her Claws charged.
The ESF and their allies never stood a chance under the weight of what the Free Peoples dropped on them and it was obvious that while they were prepared to fight to the last man or woman they were woefully underprepared to deal with what the Free Peoples could bring to bare now.
But that having been said they did not go down without a fight and their firepower did help make up the odds somewhat.
Seven saw at least two of Visa's Claw team being wounded by heavy weapons fire which enraged their squadmates to the point where they dropped their weapons and simply berserker-charged right into the ESF lines.
A couple of tons of angry scaled Claws and teeth charging right at you is more than enough to make even the hottest blood run cold in fear, but when you add into that mix armour and tactical training, you make for some seriously fearsome opponents.
Visa led the Claw charge and they simply vaulted over the defences like they were little more than hurdles, with some of the Claws dropping into an all-fours run to build up even more speed before ramming full tilt into their targets.
While this was happening Seven was trying to identify the officers in the crowd, he wanted them alive so they could give them intel on exactly what was going on here as well as the whereabouts of Click's flock.
He spotted four candidates for this title as they unlike the others were not only not in power armour, but while their people stood and fought they ran towards what appeared to be intel boards and computer banks further into the building.
"Oh no you don't" Seven muttered as he hoisted the four of them up off their feet and bound them in invisible tentacles of Telekinetic energy.
He quickly moved them out of the firing line as they struggled and also relieved them of any weapons they had.
As the last of the ESF soldiers met their end to one of Visa's well-placed claw strikes the room descended into that eerie kind of silence that only follows a raging battle, the kind that is so thick that it feels like you can cut it with a knife.
"Sound off people any casualties?" Seven called out and he could see both Visa and Timothy taking a head count.
"None on my side all here, got some new burn marks on my armour but this shield did its fucking job thank god," Timothy yelled.
"Some minor battle wounds over here but nothing life-threatening I believe my love," Visa called out.
"Shauna medical duty," Seven called and the large Super Mutant woman gave a thumbs up as she rushed over to where the wounded Gatorclaws had been pulled into cover by their brethren and were being guarded fiercely.
The Gatorclaws only moved aside when they saw Shuna appear with rolls of bandages and Stimpacks to treat their injured friends.
"We's beats nasty tin people to a pulp! Will teach them to hurt good flitter people!" Thundertail yelled banging her massive tail on the floor of the factory with a boom that made the other Gatorclaws let out roars of victory.
This acted like a beacon to Click who right on cue flittered down through the hole that Seven had punched in the skylight when he'd surprise crashed their party.
She landed on the floor next to Seven and looked around at the devastation around her, she appeared to be amazed that not only had the Free Peoples taken down the Enclave but had done so without a single loss to their side.
"You guys really do know how to fight!" she exclaimed turning to look at Seven who was still holding the struggling officers in his Telekinetic grasp.
"Told you we could handle these guys, it's what we do," Seven said with a grin inside his helmet.
Click looked around again and he could see a look of fear crossing over her face.
"I don't see my flock anywhere!" she exclaimed before her large eyes fixed on the four humans that Seven had held in Telekinetic suspension.
"That's why we have these guys right here, they are going to help us out on the front because they are going to tell us not only exactly what the fuck they are doing here but what they have done with your people," Seven said floating the four captured officers closer to him.
"Where are they? Where are my flock, you evil bastards!?" Click screeched looking like she was about to fly at the prisoners but Seven held her in check by placing a hand on her slender shoulder and giving her a knowing look.
"I'm not going to tell you fuck all freak I don't answer to the likes of you!" a black-skinned woman spat as Seven drew her closer and brought down to head height with him.
"You say that now, but I'm pretty sure after a minute or so in a locked room with her you'll change your tune," Seven said indicating a very angry-looking Visa who had stomped up to them and was now leaning down to look at the defiant woman.
"You don't scare me, we know you don't torture people, it's not your style or your MO, you see yourselves as the good guys and the good guys don't resort to those sorts of tactics remember?" she said with a smug look on her face that made both Seven and Visa want to punch her until her face resembled hamburger meat.
But the worst part was she was right, Seven would never allow torture as there were some lines he had sworn to himself and his people that he would never cross no matter what and that was one of them.
But then something made him smile.
"Oh we don't need to torture you bigot, you see the great thing about having a group like ours with so many amazing individuals of all these different races and faces is all the different skills and talents they bring to our collective table, they all lend their strengths to our collective whole, which in turn makes us all stronger," Seven said walking around the captured officers.
"What the hell are you rambling about now freak?" the black woman spat.
"Well look around you here for example, you have humans, Claws, Banshees, Super Mutants and Cazadors all working together to make this world better, the Claws bring the muscle, the humans bring the brains and the industriousness, the Super Mutant brings even more brains, the Cazadors and our new friendly Banshee here give us eyes in the sky and well me and let's just say I'm real good at making big things real small," Seven said crushing a nearby table to the size of a wadded up ball of newspaper.
"Whats your fucking point?" the woman said without missing a beat which actually impressed Seven somewhat.
"Well you see this is only a very small part of our collective whole, there are far more of us than what you see here and with them comes a whole rainbow of skills, like tunnelling, building, technological design, mind reading you get the picture," Seven said feeling his smile touch the sides of his helmet as he saw the woman pale as realisation hit her.
"You're bluffing," she tried to snarl but there was not much in the way of confidence in her voice now.
"Am I? Well I guess you fucked around and found out didn't you, we'll see how confident you are when our friend gets here?" he said.
Then he turned to Vizzy and Varrel.
"We'll finish up securing this place, fly back to camp and put a call into Raymond, tell him we need to borrow Zixxy for a bit and I'll be by soon to collect her, we're gonna need her help it seems," Seven said.
"With pleasure boss," Varrel said and just as they took to the air with a buzz of their wings Seven held up a hand to catch Vizzy's attention.
"Tell David I said hi and take some R&R kiddo, your job here is done for now, I'll send Varrel back for you if we need further help," he said making the young Cazador girl smile all over her face and do a mini loop d loop.
"Thanks, Seven!" she exclaimed and the pair shot back out of the hole and into the night sky before heading off in the direction of the base.
Seven handed off his captives to the Claws who made short work of securing them and making sure they had no chance of escaping them.
"Your days are numbered freak, the storm is coming and not even you and your band of merry misfits are gonna be able to weather it, we're gonna take back this country and neither you nor this bunch of sub-humans are going to stop us!" the black-skinned woman snarled as she was bound.
"I doubt she will need her tongue to tell us what we need to know when Zixxy gets here, would it hurt things if I simply remove it?" Visa asked flicking her long razer sharp claws out and flexing them.
"Would be nice wouldn't it?" Seven said.
"Me's says we make her eat her own shoes, that shuts her up and make her stop speaking bad things," Thundertail said slapping her massive tail on the floor next to the black-skinned woman with a boom that made all of the captives jump and stare up at the massive Gatorclaw girl.
Seven laughed out loud at that mental image but then he nodded.
"I do believe you are right Thundertail, a gag would be an excellent idea, we really don't need to listen to her spewing her bile while we are trying to work here, though I'm sure we can find something more fitting than a shoe, we're not animals after all," Seven said glancing at the happy Gatorclaw who was most definitely pleased that he had chosen her idea over Visa's.
"You can be a right spoilsport sometimes my love you know that?" Visa said with mock anger as she dragged her claws over a heavy metal desk and dug furrows into it.
"I know but I make up for it in other ways right?" he said running his hand over her massive scaled thigh and making her purr as well as her tail swish.
"You are damn right you do," she purred.
The black woman opened her mouth again to spout something about the pair but as she did so Thundertail jammed a pair of wadded-up used socks she'd found by the lockers right into her open mouth making her make a muffled gagging sound.
"Is not as good as shoe but will do the job just nicely mes thinks and given bile shes spews only fair that she tastes it," the big Gatorclaw girl said with a smirk.
"Alright my love I'm gonna head out and grab Zixxy and bring her back here, you're in charge while I'm gone and please try to keep the prisoners in one piece while I'm gone, I'm counting their limbs right now so I'll know if they have any missing when I return," Seven said running his hand over Visa's tail and giving her rear end a playful squeeze that made her growl.
"Spoilsport," she growled before making him take off his helmet so she could kiss him goodbye, a sight that blatantly infuriated the black woman.
With that final kiss, Seven put his helmet back on and took to the air, he was quite looking forward to visiting the new HQ that Wisp and her team had claimed for them as he had not seen it yet, he was also looking forward to meeting some of the new recruits.
Cutting through the air towards Boston Seven played over the events of the night in his head, the fact that the Enclave were now present in Nukaworld could not be a coincidence.
They had to be hunting for him and his people and if they had not chosen the wrong place to set up camp then they would have had no clue that they were even there, it had been simply a minute tactical error on their part in misjudging the determination of one little Banshee woman to save her people that had led to their defeat but it could have so easily gone the other way.
Coming in from the clouds Seven saw the lights of Boston twinkling below him, of the campfires and small settlements that were dotted around all over the place, some were just people trying to live their lives and others were those of Raiders arrogantly announcing their presence without a care.
Well, that would soon change, he was done now with playing on the back foot or the defensive game, he was going to root these bastards out and destroy them.
As much as he had tried to play it off in his mind, the way that woman had spoken about him and his people had burned him up inside.
The fact that she saw them as nothing more than animals and sub-human was no secret to him but to feel the venom with which she delivered those words and the confidence with which she spat them despite being their prisoner ignited a flame in his heart.
It was time for the Free Peoples to show their metal to the world, it was time for them to stop running and to start fighting and building, they had the manpower now, they had the infrastructure now, and all that was left was to really start putting it to use.
Seven landed on the cracked road that led to the subway tunnels that hid the vault that was the now official Boston HQ of both the Free Peoples and their allies the Railroad, a safe haven for sentient non-humans, synths and open-minded humans alike.
The mere thought of this place that Wisp and her team had secured and built up made him smile, it was a foundation, a true anchor point on which to build something permanent for once.
"You know I can smell my sister on you even from over here and are those fresh claw marks on your tin suit?" a deep and very familiar voice said from the shadows of a nearby alleyway.
Seven turned just in time to see Ven and Gregory emerge out of the shadows, it appeared that they had been sent up to collect him when he arrived.
"It's good to see you again boss," Gregory said with a grin as he put his rifle onto its sling as Seven approached the pair and hugged them.
"You too, both of you and yes these are new claw marks thanks for noticing, you know how your sister is, impatient is her middle name, plus she likes to mark what's hers," Seven said making Ven roar with laughter as he hugged his old friend.
"You got that part right and it's damn good to see you again, come on let's get you inside, you got the whole place in a tizzy, everyone is looking forwards to meeting the living legend," Ven said with a growl and a chuckle.
"Not quite sure how I feel about this whole legend business, and let's just say I'd rather the armour than my chest," Seven said as he fell into step with his old friends as they headed into the tunnel.
"Well you'd better get used to it boss as right now the whole place is buzzing like an excited Cazador hive and hey a little bird on the radio tells me we actually have some of those in our ranks now, Is that true?" Gregory asked.
"Yup, Vizzy and Varrel, sweet kids the pair of them, had a pretty tough time of it, Raiders burned their entire hive down with all of their family inside, just those two survived only to be captured by the very raiders that did the burning, got enslaved and used as bloodhounds to track runaway slaves till they found us," Seven said as he clomped along, the gravel of the tunnel crunching heavily under his power armoured feet.
"Damn, that is fucking rough, fucking Raiders can never leave good people alone can they?" Ven snarled as he led the way through the tunnel towards the vault entrance.
"You got that right, well that shit stops now, honestly I've had enough of both them and the Enclave pushing good people around, its time we got more proactive about this shit," Seven said and both of them glanced at one another before back at him.
"Proactive?" Ven asked and Seven nodded.
"Yeah, we just met a new species up in Nukaworld, sentient bat humanoids that call themselves Banshees, they can fly, they are covered in fur, they use sonar to paint the world with sound and they had themselves a whole little colony going inside this factory, they were hurting no one, they had a whole little culture being grown up by the day and then the Enclave came, now we don't know how many are left other than the one that we now have in our ranks who came to us for help," Seven said with a growl.
"The Enclave wiped them out!?" Gregory exclaimed and Seven nodded.
"Yeah except for one or two prisoners they have taken and we all know where that leads," Seven said.
"Fuck me," Gregory breathed with obvious anger in his voice.
"Yeah exactly, so I am totally done with this nice guy shit when it comes to these so-called people now, from now on its fucking zero tolerance, when I once said that the Free Peoples will stand for those that need us whether they be human or non-human its time we showed the likes of the Enclave, the Raiders and whoever the fuck else is stupid enough to pick a fight with us exactly what we're capable of, we're gonna start taking the fight to these fuckers and we're gonna drive them out of Boston for good, we're gonna give them a scar that runs so fucking deep that their great great great fucking grandkids are still gonna be telling stories about you don't fuck with the Free Peoples and their friends or the next story people are gonna be telling is the one about how you got your arse kicked into orbit with a permanent fucking claw print on it as a souvenir," Seven growled and Ven snarled and swished his long scaly tail.
"I like this plan already," he said.
"Thought you might," Seven said as they reached the large vault door and found Wisp waiting for them along with Malakai.
"Welcome to the new home of the Free Peoples Seven, about time you paid us a visit," Wisp said with a grin as she hugged him before Malakai shook his hand.
"It's good to see you again tin man," Malakai said with a grin as he twitched his pedipalps at Seven.
"You too spider boy, how is everything?" Seven said as the pair escorted him over the threshold and into the Vault proper.
"It's going good on our end, Raymond is working hard on building up bridges between us and our new allies in the region though we are getting some concerning reports coming in from the Minutemen about an assassin hunting their high-ranking officers in the area, most likely Enclave," Wisp said.
"But don't worry we've got a team made up of some Brotherhood soldiers called the Cossacks and some of our new allies among the the Valkyries working on tracking them down," Malakai said as he scuttled along just behind the pair.
"Ahh yes our new avian allies, how are things going with them?" Seven asked as they emerged out into the main atrium of the vault and it brought a very distinct smile to his face to see all the new faces gathered there.
The place was swiftly becoming a melting pot much like the towns they had liberated and now held as Free Peoples territory in Nukaworld.
"So this must be the illustrious Seven, leader of the Free Peoples of the Wastes, I gotta say your reputation proceeds you by a good margin, though I did expect you to be older," a female voice said off to his left.
Seven turned and saw a middle-aged woman dressed in a long black trench coat Standing alongside her was a scrawny-looking black man covered in more gizmos than he had pockets to put them in.
"And that must make you Desdemona, leader of the Railroad, good to finally meet you," Seven said striding up to her and offering her his hand to shake.
She glanced at it briefly before taking it and shaking it heartily.
"Damn fine people you got here Seven, never in a million years would I have imagined myself working hand in hand with the Brotherhood or the Minutemen, but your people made it happen and more than that, they gave us a true home to call our own while also aiding us in our cause of freeing the synthetic peoples of the Institute," Desdemona said.
"That's what the Free Peoples is all about, bringing good people together regardless of race, origin or species for a common cause and showing them that while we can be strong alone, together we are far stronger thanks to our differences," Seven said.
"Well your people sure as hell did that, even saved our assess from one of your lots who can shapeshift their ass, though we never did find out where the little fucker scurried off to when we broke his cover," the black man said.
"This is Tinker Tom, our resident tech genius," Desdemona said introducing him and Seven stuck out his hand causing the black man to grab it and shake it heartily.
"Gotta say that's a hell of a suit you got on then there, seen better days though, I could fix it up and give ya some upgrades if ya like?" Tom said circling around Seven's X-01.
"Appreciate the offer but I think I already scored myself an upgrade back in Nukaworld, we just took out an advanced Enclave special forces team and captured some prisoners as well as a whole butt load of their gear, gonna take us a while to get into some of it though," Seven said and Toms face lit up like a Christmas tree.
He span to face Desdemona looking like a pleading puppy.
"Alright Tom you can go with them for a bit if it's okay with Seven," she said with a note of exasperation and also mirth in her voice.
Seven cocked his head curiously.
"She wasn't kidding when she called him a tech genius Seven, man is a regular guru when it comes to cracking into things he's not supposed to, cut his teeth breaking into the Institute systems and honestly they make the Enclave's tech look like tin foil and baling wire by comparison on some fronts, especially their code," Wisp said.
"Well then welcome to the team, I'll be sure to keep you in good nick, though you umm may have to learn how to fend off amorous Gatorclaw girls, they have a real habit of latching onto any new human males we have around," Seven said with a chuckle.
Tom's face went through a spectrum of emotion and also silent questions but his want to get into the tech won out and he simply nodded.
"Ahh I see my coach has arrived, are we off to the ball then?" a familiar voice said from behind him and Seven turned to find Zixxy standing there with a young man dressed in Brotherhood power armour.
Seven glanced between the pair and a smile cracked his face which Zixxy instantly saw.
"Hey remind me which of us is supposed to be the mind reader again?" the little alien woman said her face breaking into a smile as she stepped up to give Seven a hug which he had to get down on one knee to deliver.
"Some things are so obvious that even these human eyes can see them without the help of one who can see the unseen, plus I hate to say I told you so," Seven said with a grin making Zixxy chuckle.
"Seems that while I see into minds you see into hearts Seven and yeah you were right, hang around with you guys long enough and I'd find someone who would look at me the way I've always yearned to be looked at, well here he is, Seven let me introduce to Lucas of the Brotherhood of Steel," Zixxy said.
Seven extended his hand to Lucas who took it and shook it.
"I've heard a lot about you Seven and it's good to finally be able to put a face to the name, I've got to say what you and your people have achieved here in such a short time is truly incredible," Lucas said.
"Why thank you Lucas it's good to hear one of your number say so, I do hope you are taking good care of Zixxy because just a warning here if you don't you won't have to worry about me, she might be small but belive me she packs one hell of a punch," Seven said keeping his tone friendly but making sure his warning was delivered seriously.
Lucas nodded and his eyes told Seven that his message had been received and understood loud and clear.
"Oh you don't have to worry Seven if there is one man's heart I've seen naked and bare it is this one, he knows the depths of my love as I know his," Zixxy said reaching up to stoke the leg of Lucas's power armour suit.
"Well alright then let's get a move on shall we, there is a lot to do and tell Raymond not to worry I'll get his secret weapon back to him in one piece in no time," Seven said.
"Pity you can't stay longer Seven, it would be nice to have a proper catch-up," Wisp said and Seven nodded.
"Yeah I agree, but hopefully soon we'll all be back together again," he said.
"That would be nice, pass my love along to my sister and tell her that she's still a crazy tail," Ven said making Seven laugh and nod.
"I'm sure she knows," he said and Ven laughed.
"On which point?" Ven asked.
"Both," Seven said as he turned to leave making Ven roar with laughter.
The group made their way to the street where Seven had landed, Tom, Zixxy and Lucas all stood with him while the rest of the group stood at the entrance to the tunnel network.
"Ok everyone get in close and please keep your arms and legs inside the bubble at all times," Seven said and Tom looked confused.
"Err what ride?" he asked and Zixxy and Seven grinned at one another before he picked them all up in a Telekinetic bubble.
"Whoa fuck!" Tom exclaimed as he dangled in the air.
Seven formed a bubble around them before he accelerated them to supersonic speeds as he climbed into the night sky.
"Holy shit!" Tom and Lucas yelled in unison as Seven banked and arced.
"Bet you've never travelled like this before huh?" Seven said glancing back at Tom and Lucas.
"I've flown in a Vertibird before but never anything like this, this is fucking incredible!" Lucas yelled with his voice being changed by his helmet.
"It's kind of a new development but I'm putting it to good use," Seven said as he banked in low over the terrain of Nukaworld buzzing one of their towns as he did.
"Is that one of ours down there?" Zixxy asked.
"Yeah, one of a few now," Seven said as they cut through the clouds and rose high above the fog of the northern territory.
"What was that large lit-up area at the centre?" Tom asked.
"That's the seat of power in the territory, its large-scale Raider territory and it's the place we have to topple in order to free this place," Seven said before they plunged down through the clouds and stopped just above the factory.
"Well this is us," Seven said as he slowly lowered them all down to the ground in the courtyard.
"Well I can see why they chose this place to hide in," Lucas said as he looked around.
"Yeah exactly, honestly if Click hadn't escaped from them and warned us about their presence who only knows what they could have done," Seven said as he led the group inside.
As soon as they got inside both Tom and Lucas stopped dead as they looked around at all the Gatorclaws and the others that were gathered inside.
"Holy shit you weren't kidding," Lucas said and Seven grinned at him.
"This is only the tip of the iceberg, there are a hell of a lot more of us than you see here, the Free Peoples is growing every single day," he said.
Suddenly Zixxy spotted the four captives that were under Gatorclaw's guard and she marched right up to them while the Gatorclaws watched her curiously including Thundertail who was blatantly holding herself from bouncing up and down from meeting new friends just in case she accidently squished said new friends.
"So I assume these are the ones that are going to be in need of my particular set of skills huh?" Zixxy said fixing her large black eyes on the black woman who was still supporting a rather fetching ball of rolled-up socks jammed in her mouth.
"Bingo Zixxy you must be a damn mind reader," Seven said striding up to her side and looking down at the group who all looked incredibly nervous now, including the black woman.
Zixxy chuckled and then lowered herself down to look the black woman right in the eye.
"Hmm I'm sensing quite a lot of resilience from this one, my bet is on this one being their intelligence operative, she certainly has the look and I've seen a mind like this before so we should start with her," Zixxy said.
The woman's eyes widened a bit and she glanced between the pair in shock.
"Funny that's exactly what I was hoping you would say, well then, let's move her somewhere more comfortable shall we?" Seven said hoisting the woman who immediately began struggling against his grip as the group which now included Click who was looking very hopeful now.
