~Everything's Not What It Seems~

Alex and Justin are siblings sent to Hogwarts to learn about magic just like their father. There they meet new friends, fall in love, and find out that truly everything is not what it seems.

Disclaimer: J.K Rowling and Disney Channel own the right to all these character. I am only borrowing them :)

It's a typical Friday night in the Russo household. After enjoying Teresa's delicious chicken quesadillas, the family had spilt off into their own activities. Teresa and Jerry were in the substation arguing over the theme of their restaurant, Max was counting the number of dust bunnies that had formed under his bed, and Alex and Justin were arguing on the balcony. A typical Friday night in the Russo home, with a not so typical family. You see, because what the people of Waverly Place don't know is that Alex, Justin, and Max are wizards and that at some point, their father was a wizard too. But... what very little people is that these wizards have even more secrets than this and truly everything is not what it seems.

"Alex, please! Can't we have just one Friday night without you and I getting into an argument!" Justin pleaded with his little sister as they lay on their own lawn chairs on the balcony.

"You're the one who started it!" Alex rolled her eyes before leaning back on her chair, folding her arms over her chest in irritation. The two had been arguing over Alex's recent almost-exposure of magic to Mr. Latinate. Justin was not pleased with her lack of concern that these almost-exposures had started to become a regular thing.

Justin shook his head and looked up at the sky with a frown. His frown faded when he noticed the light moving in the sky. "Alex, look!" He's pointed to the sky, his finger following the movement of the shooting star.

"Don't change the subject by showing me another constellation in the shape of pi!" Alex replied in irritation, her eyes looking down in boredom at her freshly painted black nails.

"Alex, it's a shooting star, make a wish and it might just come true!" Justin said excitedly.

Alex looked up at the sky and smiled as her eyes followed the movement of the shooting star. She had almost missed it. She looked to her brother with a smile. "I wish… I wish you could tell me the story about mom and dad again."

Justin watched the shooting star disappear as he made his wish before looking next to him at his sister, a sad smile on his lips. "You're not supposed to tell me your wish."

Alex shrugged in response, looking back at her brother. "It won't come true if I don't tell you."

Justin looked away from his sister, his eyes going back to sky. "Alex, you've heard the story so many times, why do you need to hear it again?"

"Because… because it makes me happy when I hear you tell it." Alex replied quietly.

Justin didn't need to look at his sister to know she was on the brink of tears. It always went like this. And he couldn't help giving in to his little sister. He smiled before moving his chair closer to hers. "Fine, I'll tell you the story. But no waterworks."

Alex looked to her brother with a smile. "Really?"

"Yes." Justin nodded, wrapping an arm around his sister. "You know I love telling the story anyway."

Alex blinked back the tears she knew were threatening to spill over and let herself cozy up in her big brother's arms. "I know."

Justin smiled as he began the story. The story of how their mother and father met. The story of how their mother and father fell in love. The story of how Justin and Alex came to be. Justin told the story, as he remembered it being told to him when he was younger. He looked down at his sister, smiling as he watched the look of joy on her face when he talked about their dad. This was a typically Friday night for Justin and Alex Russo.

Wow... it's been a while. Sooo... I kinda love this story but hate the way I wrote it back then so you'll probably be seeing a rewrite and hopefully I'll finish this thing too.
