Decedents of legendary warriors Ben Auro and Doug Fitter, Michael Auro and Astra Fitter, now must unite the likes of Rachet & Clank, Sam Porter, MegaMan Volnutt, 2B, Mark "Invincible" Greyson, Tanjiro Kamado, and the other last hero's of the universe to stop the Negaverse from conquering all other universes.

47. Chapter 299: For Whom The Bell Tolls

Chapter 299: Ghost Protocols For Whom The Bell Tolls at the Edge of Oblivion.

As virtually all the forces that could still fight in the universe had descended on the Lylat System to try and change their fate, it left the majority of those in Night City in a state of terror, aside from those to detached from reality or those very committed to their jobs.

While Sieg, Mary, Carmen, Gingrich, and many other of the elite members of the IV&C had not returned to the Prime Universe many of the staff had helped monitor things. Not all of them were as deranged as the Batman Who Laughs.

One of the more mundane employees, Mobius M. Mobius, was treating the outside bombardment as just the usual bad weather.

This Mobius, a middle-aged man in his mid-fifties with greying blond hair, a mustache, and a brown IV&C business suit was casually talking with the person in front of him as he cleared his throat." I know you all been waiting a while but don't worry, I'm a professional. I'm agent Mobius by the way. So, this will go fast mister um… Muzan Kibutsuji?"

He looked up and offered his hand, and looked at Xehamaru who had transformed himself to look just like the man who revived him, alongside Crowly. Xehamaru took Crowly's notes to heart and remained stoic as Mobius withdrew his hand before the former leader of Sithantos tipped his hat." Yes…that's correct."

Mobius winced at the glace he was getting before he let out an uneasy chuckle." Sorry it took a while, but it's just that it was a bit confusing when we got the call because according to the reports, you're supposed to be dead."

Xehamaru, as Muzan just shrugged." Reports of my demise were just a tad…exaggerated. I'm sorry for the delay but I was trying to keep the people who assumed they killed me from finding the truth. Thankfully you and the rest of your courageous and dedicated workforce all seemed to have made that problem a moot point yes? That's why as thanks I wanted to uphold my original agreement. After all it does seem like it was a rather pressing issue."

Mobius saw the man he assumed was Muzan looking at him carefully before he tugged his collar." Yah about that…. You're saying you want to speak to Homelander right now about the…location of the Multiversal Rebel Alliance?"

"Was that not a rather pressing issue?"

Before Mobius could respond a new more aggressive voice cut in with," Know your place "Shadowlord." Those of are level work on a far wider scale then the likes of you even understand."

Muzan did not bat an eye as a younger man with brown hair in the same uniform before he closed his eyes." I take it you're the assistant?"

"More like his boss." The new man uttered bluntly." I'm agent Paradox…and we need a few answers before you leave this room Muzan. You were said to be a practical man but why did it take you so long to notify us that you were alive?"

"Again…I was trying to advert attention but you lot erased those who were looking for me so it no longer matters."

"So you say. But then what position do you think you are to expect anything? One way or another you failed. If you had the info on the Alliance all along why wait till now?"

"Because I had to secure the information very carefully."

"In what…a data disk?"

"No…as in a survivor to explain things."

He nodded to Crowly, before the demon smirked and put up the bag he brought with him, and unzipped it to reveal Castile inside, bound by what seemed to be magical Handcuffs with binding sigils etched into them.

Xehamaru pointed to Castile, and smirked as the Archangel struggled in the Angel Cuffs." This angel was made aware of the location, and so he's my offering."

Paradox prepared to get closer to Castile before Muzan held up his hand." Just one thing. I'm no fool…I saw what happened to Mic… Valisthea…and I'm not going to offer up my life when I know I have something you need. That's why we should discuss things first."

Paradox snickered before he cracked his neck." You think you're in any position to set the terms here? Do you not realize the extent of are power?"

"Oh, I'm aware…and I'm also aware that finding this alliance is still a priority for you yes? But be at ease…I'm not asking for anything…absurd. All I want is insurance for my own survival, no more, no less. That's why…I need more information.

It's simple really, I been explained a lot of things but this Multiverse is still something I need to see for my own eyes. Think of it this way…I'm willing to do you all a favor and risk my life to prove the location of the alliance is legit."

Paradox and Mobius looked at each other before the agent with the mustache raised an eyebrow." So, what…you want us to get you a ship to take you to the location?"

"It seems easier than a jet ski yes? Unless that's how traveling across the multiverse works."

While Mobius chuckled Paradox narrowed his eyes." Oh, the Multiverse is very real, but this universe is on lock-down to all but agents of the Infinite Victory and Conquest corporation."

"Yet this whole thing was for me to become a member of this little club that decides the fate of trillions yes?"

Mobius saw Paradox look annoyed before he shrugged." I mean…I could see what's available. Hold the fort here."

Mobius left the office room before Paradox cracked his neck." He just does not want to look bad if this goes south…but I can see a man's desperation clear as day. You clearly thought you were special but you're not special enough.

We are just about to decide the fate of everyone who Mr.V-Day deems is no longer needed in the universe, and no matter what you try your not going to make that list with a last ditch stunt. After all, we have all the power?"

Crowly let out an uneasy chuckle before he pointed at Castile." No offense mate but if that's true then we would not have been asked to find these "Universe hopping Rebels" eh?"

Paradox smirked before he closed his eyes." You judged the situation wrong. Its not that they are threat, but an annoyance, and we seek to erase all who annoy us because we can. Everyone is about to learn how there is nothing that can be done to deny us are,"

At this point James just unleashed his massive EMP spell to knock out all of the power in Night City including the room in Arasaka Tower that they were in. As the lights went off, and explosions were heard Xehamaru only cleared his throat." Forgive my insolence but…this does not seem like a thing that is going to plan."

Paradox looked around in panic before he snarled out," We knew some one might try something stupid, it's useless! The tower's backup generator will be online shortly. But the moment it does you better submit to reality."

Xehamaru sprouted a grin as he put up his hand." Oh, we don't have to wait that long. Hear, I can give you the answer you want right now."

"What the hell are you talking about you, AHH!"

The moment Paradox turned back around Xehamaru had a snake come out of his sleeve, and devour Paradox whole. Castle got up but Xehamaru only put out his other hand in a pause gesture before the snake chewed a bit, and devoured its target before Xehamaru winced." Ugh…of course the corporate tool tastes like Styrofoam. Just one moment."

Xehamaru's eyes glowed before he made a hand gesture, and recast the Transformation spell he had to turn into Agent Paradox. Now donning the guise of the IV&C agent, Xehamaru looked at himself then turned to Crowly before the demon nodded." So difficult. Brilliant, ahead of your time, despised for it. Trust me, I know. My soul did a stint in Hell, where it became demonized. Then I had to possess another person so I could traffic with the living. When I was Fergus Roderick MacLeod I was nobody...but it pissed me off so much that I worked my undead ass off and became so good at being the Ruler of the Crossroads that Muzan came to me to get the Crossroad demons in his network."

Xehamaru cracked his newly shaped neck before he shrugged." Yes well I think it's fair to say we are going to be donning a lot more faces before the game's through. Now, get ready the intermission is all but over so get the "props" ready."

Crowly nodded before he snapped his fingers and a small explosion blasted out where Xehamaru stood, leaving an imprint of what looked like Muzan's body. Only a few seconds later Mobius returned in the room with a chart before he looked around and raised an eyebrow." Hey what happened I just got the chart!"

Xehamaru, now posing as Paradox motioned to the burnt imprint on the ground." It seems the scum thought that the lack of lights would be enough for him to try and take what he did not deserve. He paid dearly for that."

A black woman behind Mobius who was wearing a fancier uniform looked around before glaring at Crowly and taking out her gun." So, this was all a desperate trap? Time to erase them all!"

Xehamaru, as Paradox put his hand up before he smirked." No need to prune beyond what's needed Officer Renslayer. This…Crowly here warned me of the attack."

Crowly saw the woman who's badge said Ravonna Renslayer before he let out a uneasy chuckle." Hey Muzan may have had his head up his ass but I was just trying to make a deal to keep being in one piece!"

Xehamaru quickly pointed at where he was pretending he was killed before he shrugged." It's clear that this was all a embarrassment but, I suppose at the same time…it would be foolish if we did not check it out. If there's nothing to report, then that's that. But if we do find the alliance was hiding there then…we would become one of the most useful people in the multiverse to the company yes? "

Mobius saw Crowly shrug before he looked at Castile." Well…I mean Sir V-Day is all about showing initiative…long as it's one that is productive to the company. Like, what is this "angel" was lying?"

Castile winced before Crowly took off his gag, and the angel uttered," I'm not lying. By this point I realized that this is the only way for some people to be saved. The problem is I don't know how to prove what I saw on my own, I never been outside the universe after all."

Renslayer bit her lip before she flicked her hair out of her eye." In the end…nothing matters more than the Song of Nephilim being sung across the Multiverse. Even…even Mr'Day's return to this universe is not as vital as that."

Xehamaru cleared his throat before he shrugged." I been…distracted but there has been no updates to the endgame right?"

Renslayer paused before she pressed on her panel in frustration." The whole reason that Mr.V-Day was returning was because our ultimate goal was in sight. Are last update was that the Eldritch Many-Angled Board of Directors were synchronizing the Towers across the Multiverse to begin to charge the Oblivion Machine that would unleash the Song of Nephilim. But, no one in the entire alliance can overcome a Sixth Dimensional Being."

Xehamaru shrugged before throwing out a wry," Then it should be simple to see if there's any threat or not yes?"

Renslayer paused before she looked at Mobius. "Agent B-15…see what can be cleared."

Another explosion went off, before the lights went back on. Renslayer quickly saw all the alarms going off before she winced." Of course…we will have to have an opening to take off…we can't let any of these scum have a chance to escape."

Xehamaru saw Crowly and Castile both looking at him before he narrowed his eyes." Do we know who is attacking us?"

"It seems…every force in this universe that still has soldiers fighting, and they are being led by Omni-Man, and the last of the Enji Knights. Those fools don't know how obsolete they truly are."

Xehamaru saw monitors showing Ezan, Shinryudramon, Zero, and some of the others he knew fighting before he chuckled bitterly and looked at his hand." They lost everything, and now the Warriors of Light have nothing but rage, and as they say, nothing is more dangerous than an animal backed into corner with nothing to lose."

Renslayer snickered before she grasped her hand tightly." They will learn the hard way for not grasping that the Infinite Victory and Conquest company is too big to fail even in the face of the rage of all the losers in all universes.

Even there devil Chaos Zannacross Necron and the Beyonder are nothing compared to are power. Still, Homelander was an even bigger fool to assume things were wrapped up so quickly, he will pay for making us look like fools. We must make sure the Vought clan takes the blame."

"Oh, I already have a few ideas about that." Xehamaru cooed out wryly." But, should make a few calls to see what cards are in are hand and all yes?"

Renslayer saw the man she thought was her coworker looking confident before she nodded." Understood…get all the info about the alliance and I'll meet you in his cell in half an hour for the next phase."

As Renslayer went off Mobius just whistled." Hey, we are all going to get bonuses if we play are cards right man!"

He gave a thumbs up before Crowly made sure they were gone and cleared his throat." You do know where the cell is right?"

"Oh relax." Xehamaru uttered confidently." I digested all this" Paradox's" memories when I devoured him…because I absorbed his soul to."

He saw Castile look at him before he snickered." Oh don't give me that look…if you saw half of what this sinner did you would be thanking me."

The angel sighed before he looked down." Let's just agree that sometimes doing the right thing requires sacrifices. I must say…what were you going to do if the power did not suddenly go out?"

"Oh, the same thing…just a few more cards to the combo." Xehamaru answered surely." But I sensed the magical energies forming around the tower and…adapted. Still, this does provide more distractions to see the objective realized. I know all to well…how good the Enji and their friends are at being distractions. What's more…I can sense the same despair in them that drove me. I admit…I expected them to die before feeling like I do."

Crowly snickered before he shrugged." You wanted revenge because your world was wiped out right? Well maybe that was rarer in the days of that Lylat Kingdom…but right about now…everyone that's still alive is as traumatized as you snake man."

"Yes yes they made it clear I was" distorted" about how my cause was foolish. I still remember how that fused angel Halakti was so smug." But who's judgment has become rendered moot and impotent these days eh?"

Castile paused before the angel sighed." I still believe there are cases that are a " just cause" but eventually there comes a point where the moral justification becomes irrelevant...all that's left is a bunch of monsters trying to eat each other alive."

"Well, that's where we are now eh Cas?" Crowly spat out in amusement." It's just the monsters left…so it comes down to whoever is the toughest monster left taking home the prize…and it seems that all the bets are on Sieg."

Xehamaru paused before he looked at his hand." No…it's still not all the same. Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

Through passion I gain strength.

Through strength I gain power.

Through power I gain victory.

Through victory my chains are broken.

The Darkness shall free me.

Any beast can rage and break things…like Brad Fowltror, or apparently how Doug Fitter broke heaven. But only true resolve turns that rage to see change. I want to see change…no matter the cost."

Castile saw Xehamaru looked serious before he shrugged." Then we are at the point where actions speak louder than words."

Xehamaru saw another explosion before he licked his lips." Then let's give a performance that will get us to the next act eh? Don't worry…I know how to pull off a show that does not leave any serious damage."

As Castile winced Crowly shrugged." Hey, don't take it personally, I torture all my friends. It's how I show love! Just got to keep them from realizing that those fake Angel Cuffs you have are to hide that your powers are working yah hear? I mean it's a little pain now or everlasting pain later at this point mate."

Castile rolled his eyes before taking a deep breath." Just don't enjoy it too much."

Xehamaru felt the ground shake and saw a monitor showing Thragg coming for Ezan before he shrugged." After all this time…once again I'm waiting under a alter ego for the Enji to do their job properly.

Ugh…at least the support is better than John Ruse. Still…You lot better not make me look worse by losing to such simpletons Enji. Ugh, just have to keep reminding myself that I'm using those I hate to take care of those I hate more…once again."

Using the memories he absorbed from Paradox, Xehamaru motioned his current collaborators to the next phase of their plan, as many others were doing the same, some also in the tower, albeit much lower.

While James's EMP spell fried the majority of the head shaped city's electronics, many important devices had backup systems or other ways of moving, and Tyson's group was counting on it.

Hanako was able to get her personal shuttle to keep working thanks to Tyson using some Vibranium gear to protect her shuttle and took off, requesting access to Arasaka Tower's emergency invasion shelter and that she was bringing "Extra security."

As the shuttle approached what was serving as the capital of the planet Johnny looked at the sky and snickered." I know the ghost dude fried a lot of stuff with his magic but still figured more people would be defending their boss…or at least their paycheck."

Hanako looked around and sighed. My brother is not all of Arasaka. Not yet, at least. He knows this well. It is the reason he surrounds himself with criminals like Adam Smasher."

Johnny saw Thragg absorbing all of his soldiers into him before he let out a bitter chuckle. "Yah will something tells me we should not be expecting much backup since it's going to be raining assholes all night."

Hanako looked around before she shrugged."

"My father was "on his own". And he built an empire."

"I'm sure that's a fun story but right now we to focus on the story we are about to write. If you have any other things to let us know tell us now. Probably won't get another chance."

"To do what?"

"To fill me in on your plan."

"What if I have none?"

"Not really a time for jokes."

Hanako looked around before she shrugged. Mhm...Reed and Takemura had a plan the day of the parade. Moments later they had nothing, your plan was in tatters. And yet, we are here now. Do you know why? Because sometimes you have to look the truth in the eye. Back then, that is what I did. Thanks to you. You have a... a very honest look."

Johnny chuckled darkly before he shrugged." That's how we're swinging the Arasaka board? You want me to stare at them?

"Weapon at the ready."

They saw the tower getting closer and Hanako motioned the pilot to a garden, before Tyson looked at it and raised an eyebrow." Wait…I saw this in a file. Is that…supposed to be the garden of the Emperor of Japan?"

"A replica." Hanako uttered bitterly." A faithful replica of the original in Tokyo. He ordered one made in every Arasaka branch in the universe. Every last detail, every item... arranged as if he could navigate it blind. That is the way he is. Meticulous. Fastidious."

"So, he just likes hoarding symbols to pass off as if it means something to him?"

"Symbols are more resilient than you think. The question is if the faction leaders remain loyal to Arasaka values. And if they will find the courage to admit their mistake."

Johnny looked in the sky before he shrugged." Depends on how much courage they have to face Homelander and his boss's wrath. Well…they won't have a choice but to make a choice. Corp's future is on the line. - They've got no choice. We're talking about the future of Arasaka here. A monolith whose first crack appeared with Yorinobu. Goro's words, not mine. Ah well, still should be one hell of a party, right Rouge? What's wrong your pretty damn quite everything chill?"

He glanced at a woman he picked up at the Black Sapphire, one with sliver hair, some cybernetics on her body and a yellow shirt that said," Survive" before this Rogue Amendiares made sure her plasma pistol she named" Pride" was ready before she rolled her eyes." I just can't believe we are really doing this. All this time and you still come back to this Johnny? Only an idiot does the same thing over and over again while expecting to do things differently. You better have a plan for this."

"Tsc, back in the day, you snorted some lines, grabbed your iron, and did what had to be done. But…since it's not just my ass on the line but the whole universe yah, I managed to get the rest of the universe not under Arasaka and their new pal's thumb to attack so how's that? Besides, you got some idea of what's in there so, figured it would be like old times. What…don't tell me doubt's creeping in now?"

Rouge saw the explosions blasting out all over before she chuckled bitterly." Won't lie…sort of has…but it does not matter now. You know what I like most about Night City? One day you're in the gutter…and then the next, you got the whole city on your feet!"

A shock-wave nearly blew the shuttle out of the sky, and everyone saw Black Noir casually beating back Superian and Hyperon at once before Johnny winced." Nah…that's the con the Vought boys shoved down our throats that we saw it as a fact.

Nothing in this city happened without Homelander, Arasaka, and the other assholes approving it for their own amusement. But now…we are going to be free…one way or another. No idea how it's going to end…but lemme tell yah it's going to be one loud morning!"

Rouge nodded before she grasped her gun tightly." Time we gave this city another wake-up call!"

Hanako saw a symbol before she looked around." Get ready, dire moments are upon us all…I'm going to talk to them but be ready for anything."

She pressed a button before the hologram of an Asian looking man with pale white eyes and a Vought uniform appeared.

Hanako cleared her throat before uttering," Sandayu Oda…I'm glad you're still alive."

"As am I mistress…your brother was…starting to worry."

"My apologies…we did not think the celebrations would turn this way, and we all seen how wrong we were."

"Well, you arrived just in time…the Tower's about to go into final lock-down, so prepare to dock while we transport you and the last entrees in."

"Understood."

As the hologram faded Hanako looked at Takemura." The men with Oda, are those the only ones inside the tower that are loyal to us?"

"I'm afraid so…your brother has been moving quickly to weed out any that are not devoted to him and Homelander alone.

But the rest are in position, ready to do as instructed. These are the most effective by much. And loyal."

"To me, or to my money?"

"I would say it's twenty percent to eighty, Hanako-sama. But with how little money means in the grand scheme of things at this point…we must assume honor means something to them."

"Very well. It will have to do."

Everyone braced themselves as the shuttle landed inside the VIP hanger for the capital building of "Night City."

Oda was waiting for them, along with dozens of soldiers, and various cybernetic ninja, being lead by Adam Smasher. Chairmen Dreck and a few other high positioned members were there as well.

Johnny saw one of the men in the group was a man with slim yet well-toned young man with amber eyes, dark eyeliners, studded ears, and spiky green hair with a crew cut. He had a set of distinct, dark-colored tattoos covering half of his upper body.

He was shirtless in a pair of dark-colored pants with a belt, along with a metal chain with a cyclopean skull-shaped pendant around his neck. He had several intricate rings on his fingers and a metal armband on his right wrist, and as he smirked Johnny raised an eyebrow." They even let Poseidon Shura member of the Oración Seis Galáctica who controls a chunk of the Aoi Cosmos in? Guess they will let anyone who bends the knee get a badge…dandy."

Shiki was part of the group and saw Shura before he grit his teeth." That guy…that's the guy who nearly killed everyone on the Eden Zero and sold us to Vholran and Knull! I wanted payback for a while!"

Chole and Hutch were also part of the group and saw a bald black man in a uniform like Brainwave's before Chole winced." That's…Kotune? Damn it…so he sided with Brandon and Walter in betraying my parents and now fully sold out are world of Parlorax to Homelander? No…he won't get away with that."

Johnney snickered before he cracked his neck." Oh, this is going to be a party alright. Just get remember your cue guys, let's do this."

He and the other comrades of the Enji hid in the cargo bay as Hanako walked out. She was greeted by The Arasaka board. Said board consisted of ten suits, four of them females in skirt + heels corpo attire. One was Michiko Arasaka.

Four guards in powder blow suits were posted on the walls, all of the female, over knee boots with heels. Only one of them wore shades instead of a visor.

Hanako bowed before uttering," I'm sorry I'm late. My brother - where is he?"

The one named Michiko winced before uttering," He said to start without him…things are escalating quickly."

Hanako looked back at the sky…which was nearly consumed with ships and mecha blasting each other before she nodded." It seems…that the reports of are enemies demise were imprecise to say the least."

Chairmen Dreck snickered before the Blarg snapped his fingers and a platform-sized super laser appeared in front of him." It seems even are lord Homelander underestimated how stubborn these cockroaches are.

But…we just have to completely break them. They want to desperately free their home-planet right? I got the Deplanetizer ready to fire on Corneria. I know we were suppose to keep it intact for the party but, they will understand we had to send a message right?"

Hanako looked at the "Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman" of Drek Industries before she raised an eyebrow." You really want all there hate to be focused on you?"

The Blarg let out an uneasy chuckle before shrugging." I mean…they are all going to be killed soon right? Anyway we will do it inside the tower so…let's get in already we are already taking risks still being outside!"

Oda saw Hanako nod before he cleared his throat." We are waiting for a Fixer named Faraday who secured a few things for us."

"Oh, screw the middle man he could already be dead!" Drek spat out. Before anyone could argue a frantic voice cut in with," Wait…I made it!"

They saw a shuttle fly up, as a man quickly jumped out. He was a slim, middle-aged man with gray hair. He wore a burgundy Neokitsch suit with black trim and yellow accents, black gloves, black shoes, and a white button-down shirt. His most striking features were his four cybernetic eyes, three of which were installed on the right side of his face.

The man looked around and let out a deranged chuckle." I…had delays…securing the contract…but I did it."

Oda saw the man and narrowed his eyes." So, you did as you promised Faraday? We were having…conflicting reports."

"No, it's good…I earned my spot in the room where it happens! Imagine that Arasaka counter intel extending an invitation to a lowly fixer like me. Quite the promotion, wouldn't you say? Unheard off, really.

Yet, even this leap, I consider only a single step in my ascend. After all Night City does not reward complacency. But I'll contact my agent to make sure it's all done.

Kiwi. What's the hold up?"

As he raised his phone up a woman responded with a curt," David donned

the cyberskeleton as planned, but didn't wipe out Kurt's Dogtown pack, not completely.

"Go on."

"Didn't think it possible,but he's dippin' in and out of cyberpsychosis...gliding along the edge. If David comes through without goin' full, he's gunnin' for us next. I know it."

"He's clearly resilient, for a chrome junkie. But it's nothing Arasaka's recovery teamcan't clean up, I'm sure. Maybe. But I'm not about to chance it. Did my part, so I'm skippin' town. Zip me my eds, and we're done."

"Your contract only ends when the situation is secure, and things are far from secure."

"Screw that! I'm not doing any more work for you I'm getting out before this whole city is space dust!"

"Is that so? Such a shame. My contract stipulates that...I get rid of anyone who knows about the cyberskeleton. No special exceptions. Even you."

"Fine…then I'll just join David's team."

Everyone heard an explosion before they saw a shuttle racing up to the chamber, before David suddenly burst out of the door. His body seemed to be infused in what seemed to be a mech like exo skeleton and he landed with a thud. As Faraday saw David's rage he winced." What? You're still stable? Your mind should be gone by now!"

"I'll never forget that you betrayed me! Where is Lucy!?"

"Where someone that's not about to fall apart could ever get to!"

Ratchet looked at David before he whistled." Whoa…looks like the guy jacked Comes two compact AV thrusters into his back, along with a Arasaka engineered gravity modification prototype that can generate unidirectional grav fields, magnetic forces, too. That there the mag field generator? This kid looks like he could blow in all the wrong ways!"

Soldiers surrounded David before Faraday snickered." You clearly did not realize the role you were meant to play kid, so you will die as a fool."

Her state of dress was simply her black bra and underwear, a black, Kitsch, high collar jacket with green accents that went down below her waist (left half-zipped), and a pair of matching sneakers. His weapon of choice was a long, black sword, with two outward blades coming off the hilt. It also resembled a pair of demon wings, fitting his final form's weapons, which were a pair of scimitars in a near-similar shape as the additional blades.

He saw Zero look at him and smirked." Mitra…keep him distracted while I erased him! Father…at last the time has come for me to fulfill my ultimate purpose! For the sake of my father, Valkog Drazer's will I will prove that I am a entity that surpasses all other species! I, Seed, am the ultimate being!"

Clank in his giant form tried to punch Drek, only for the blow to be caught. However Ratchet then jumped up and threw his wrench like a boomerang to hit the Proton Splitter just as it was about to fire.

This caused the beam to fracture. Drek yelled out in fury as beams blasted all over his Ultra Supreme Executive Chairman Drek-Mech before he glared at the Lombax." No…no I did not make it this far just to be denied everything from a junker and a pile of scrap he ran into! After I've built us a new home world, I'll make another. And another. Can you imagine?

Dozens of Blarg owned planets forged not by nature, but by my company. We'll create an entire empire using this universe's wasted planets. To be more precise he was a male rufous hornbill with bright green eyes and a color scheme of red, black, white, yellow and bright green. His outfit is a cyber battle suit that gives him enhanced speed, strength and flight.

The man next to Kalaw snickered. He was a male hybrid of an earth dragon and an Avalician aspin (street dog). He had brown skin, purple eyes, light-brown horns, spiky black hair and a long tail with two black spikes at the tip.

His outfit was a silver and black coat-like shirt, black jeans, black and purple boots with silver straps and a pair of large, purple piston braces on his arms as well as a pair of brass knuckles.

The two unleashed a barrage of blows that each caused the city to tremble, but no matter how vicious Ganondorf got, Tyson steeled himself to keep up, remembering both his vow to Mike and to his brother. And while he did not realize it, his friend was in just about as tense a spot as him.

As this was going on, Mike was doing what he could to pull off defying the Reaper's Games. While it nearly cost him his soul, thanks to his new and old teammates he was able to make contact with players from the other teams and tell those who shared his views about his idea. While he and no idea if they would follow through when the moment counted, he had no choice but either have faith in his plan or roll over, so he chose option A.

After chasing down a few more Noise targets to gather the points needed to pass the" Round" and checking in as best as he could, he and the rest of the makeshift Wicked Twisters made it to where the final round of the game was supposed to take place, in front of the House of Hope that Mike first arrived in the After Life in. Mike, with Neku, Bowser, Neon White, and everyone else who could fight walked up to the house, and saw a wall of energy. In front of that energy was two men.

One was a man consisting of a red zip-up hoodie left open, a dark, gray-colored v-neck T-shirt, baggy jeans slouched over their white sneakers, he also wore a ball cap with their hood up, leaving their faces in perpetual shadow, only the lower part of his face was visible. He also carried a camouflage patterned satchel, and had his hands in the pockets of his hoody.

Next to him was a man with reaper wings. His attired consisted of a black pull-over hoodie with the hood up, he had white markings on the sleeves and front. He also wore maroon bandannas as masks that hid his features, and he wore dark green pants that slouched over their shoes like with a wallet chain, and carry around his waists a brown bag and had dark red sneakers with white soles.

Neku saw the two men glare at them before he nodded at Mike." If Support Reapers and Harrier Reapers are double timing the barrier around this place then…seems like this is legit. One way or another…its go time."

Mike saw the group of souls around him all looking tense before he flashed a half-lopped smirk." Well one way or another things won't move unless we roll the dice so…everyone just watch everyone's backs and be ready for anything ok?"

Bowser, Dedede, the Tick, and a few others flashed eager nods before Alphen got his sword ready." No matter what these Reapers think we are, they won't walk over us anymore!"

Neku saw him and Law looked ready to attack before he looked at the Reapers in front of him and cleared his throat." Hold up guys, remember not all the Reapers are alike. In fact those in front of us are more of the chill ones."

The Reaper in the middle, one that wore a black hoodie with white markings, who's hoodie was unzipped smirked. Underneath his hoodie he wore a small purple shirt. His pants were green in color and were ripped and he had chains tied to his black belt. He hadbleached-blonde gelled spiked hair and fair-skin and he wore a choker with a skull on it.

The one called 777 saw Neku look at him before his grin widened." Yo Phones, it's rocking that you made it to the finale. But of course we are. After all…we're still totally indie. But one day, we're gonna start a rock revolution. But first…got to see this game through. So…are you guys ready to rock…or not?"

Mike looked at everyone before he nodded." We got all the points right? Then let's do this."

"Hell yah, then go on in cause the other teams are arriving now to!"

He saw the other three teams walk in from the other sides, but just as he was starting to look at who had arrived, Minamimoto jumped down and landed in the center with a thud. He had ears similar to that of an elf, and sported sharp nails on his left hand's fingers as his Voided right hand's fingers.

This Kuon had long, unkempt hair was brown in color with red streaks and his eyes were a deep red, as a series of red swords, Insulator Imitate floated around him he narrowed his eyes." Of course I'm ready. My guests will start arriving here at the Abyss shortly... to become the stakes with which I bore through the wall of the Night. I must defeat every last one of them."

Minamimoto snickered before he looked to the right." Well, you made enough of a impression to impress me so sounds good. What about you Neons?"

Green, having recovered from the blow Beat gave him looked around for White, and just snickered." The Neon Team will do whatever it takes to come out on top."

The leader of the Gantz team…an adult male with short black hair just nodded coldly." Anyone who points a wepaon at me dies. Got it? Point a wepaon at me, you die."

He saw Beat in the distance among the Reapers watching over the cage before he took a deep breath. Minamimoto smirked before he raised his hand." Then enough talking…get to it! Now... Ready, set... GO!"

A gong noise was heard before Kuon looked at Mike closely." So, this is really the son of Ben Auro and Lacus Raystar? This…will be the proof of my strength. Sister…make sure this man is no counterfeit."

He glanced at a young woman at his side. Her appearance was that of a young girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a yellow hoodie over a black shirt that went up her neck, black spandex shorts and black zipper boots up to calf-length.

She grasped her weapons, a one-handed sword and a pocketknife or side-opening switchblade and nodded." Very well... We are the will of the 'Night Blade'. I will traverse a mountain of corpses, if I must."

"And so you will. But Hyde Kido…Seth…assist Linne."

A man next to the one named Linne, a young boy of average height with strange, dual-toned, messy hair, being bleach blonde at the front and black at the back end that's eyes a were a dark red and have cat slit pupils looked at Mike and narrowed his eyes before he grasped his Indulgence of Insulating: Insulator blade, a nodachi with a red blade patterned with bright-red lines of EXS that flow through it before he bitterly got into a fighting stance." If it means at last I'll be able to live again then whatever it takes.

Her will... Everything she wanted, I'm doing in her stead. That's all! Let's go! Gyre Vortex!"

The one named Hyde unleashed a red energy sword wave right at Mike as all four teams started attacking each other. Mike dodged the Gyre Vortex, but then unleashed a swift kick to block Hydes slash. He then saw Kei coming for him before he looked at Hyde and smirked." Is everything ready?"

Hyde saw Linne and Seth coming at Mike form both sides and grit his teeth." As ready as we will ever be…. it's now or never dude."

"Alright…then let the real game begin!"

He made a hand gesture before Kei nodded, and he fired an energy beam right into the air. After a few moments, more than half the members on all the other teams all attacked the entrance to the House of Hope. Minamimoto looked at this turn of events and raised an eyebrow." You idiots forget the rules? You want to boost your chances of survival, right? Then you either multiply the deaths, or face deletion."

Mike blocked a swift upwards kick followed by a downwards midair slam, before Kuon attempted to attack the lanky man from all sides. The two unleashed their most powerful attacks to intercept Kuon's blast, and hit him across the chest. Kuon screamed out in pain as he glared at his sister, before Linne sighed." This is it…the end of our long journey brother."

Heh…tell me boy…did it feel good to pass on to her…the responsibilities I gave to you!? She was always so stubborn…never could train that out of her.

Did you know Red hated when you took her place? But what did she expect? She asks too many questions! You however, would do whatever I asked….as long as you could fight. She glanced at another female reaper next to her, a woman tall woman with long black hair, teal eyes with magenta eyeshadow and thick lips with pink lipstick. She had notably large breasts and usually bears a serious expression.

She wore a gray teal-lined and floral-patterned blouse, opened to reveal cleavage. She seems to wear either a black miniskirt or short shorts. She accessorized with a gold necklace with a black stone at the center, as well as bracelets and rings on her left arm.

Her fingernails were also quite long and her toenails are painted teal. She wears beige open-toe high heels. She had a pet iguana who was on her shoulders…and as Mitsuki looked at her she gave a detached nod as she glared at Mike, Neku, and the others." Learn my name and know it well: Ayano Kamachi. Shoka was close to Anyano before she defected to Neku's team and saw the older woman's tense look before she winced." Sis…its me! C'mon you got to snap out of it before, AHH!"

"What we had to ensure productivity traitor." Mitsuki utter coldly." Betray? I simply choose to align with the man in charge. It hardly matters who. Too many Reapers and other demons don't realize the times have changed. But now those in the living realm and the after life alike are bound to one purpose, to be productive to the quota's of the Infinite Victory Corporation of perish! These pins are just a way to erase the qurks that get in the way of them being ideal employees.

"HAH!...don't you realize how futile it is?" Mitsuki hissed out." Sigh... Since I can't reverse evolution and speak your language, I'll keep this brief. Before the cat reaper could say more Minamoto looked at Mike and suddenly looked psychotically at him till his aura flared up." That scent…I was trying to figure it out but it really is you eh? Mike winced before shrugging." Sorry, I don't take requests form guys that remind me of the math tutor I had that was so far up his own ass I did not get a damn thing done."

Everyone tensed up as Minamoto unleashed his own Noise form, and landed on the ground as a demonic wolf that left a quake as he landed. He roared hard enough to nearly blow Mike away as he narrowed his eyes." I've had enough chatter. Come get derived. This time I'm eradicating you from my spatial coordinates! Drown in the sea of imaginary numbers! Stupid fracta..ITS GAME OVER!"

Mike saw all the Reapers around him preparing to attack before he nodded at everyone." No…the Game's just getting started math man. I don't care how rigged this game is…no matter how bad the odds…I have too much to get done to lose here! No matter what you reapers and all of your bosses are going to learn the hard way that you don't control everything!
