Chapter 311: The Blazing Souls that Seek No Escape in the Fight Across A Vanishing Universe.

Despite the Cell Olympics going more than a little off track, even as Doug and Platinum Black Frieza were fighting with enough force to rock the very fabric of the universe around them, some of the " Gladiators" were so hell bent on settling the score that even without an official cue they were at their contestants throats ready to not even let the end of the world get in the way of settling the score.

One of the contestants with such grim resolve was Yusuke and his comrades fighting the Toguro brothers. The Sprit Detective had vaporized his bulky enemies' sunglasses off, but it just annoyed Toguro enough for him to unleash one hundred percent of his power.

Now being a black skinned bulky monstrosity, Toguro was able to shatter all the attacks coming his way just with the force of flicking his finger. As he saw Yusuke cough up blood Toguro cracked his neck." Hmm. Was that really the best you could do? I was a fool for expecting anything else."

"Damn you!" Yusuke uttered as he gathered energy around his fist." I'll show you how, GUH!"

Yusuke paid for forgetting the other Toguro brother was still around as the smaller man had his finger shoot out like a spike to impale Yusuke's arm. As the Sprit Detective fell to the ground Elder Toguro burst out laughing." It looks like Genkai really did die in vain after all!"

Yusuke snickered before uttering out," You think your so badass when you just thrash old ladies eh? She may have been a pain in the ass, but she was the pain of the ass that trained me and you will pay!"

Elder Toguro raised an eyebrow before he smirked." Oh…so she really did not tell you eh? Oh no." He burst out laughing before he widened his eyes."You really didn't know? In that case, let me teach you. Watch and learn. Here's what you need to know."

The other Toguro saw the smaller sibling morph his hands into puppets before he grit his teeth and he uttered," Stop it brother."

"Oh come on brother what's the point of victory without being able to have fun about it? Our story begins with a young woman and a young man. They were friends. The two of them wanted to become martial arts masters together.

Yusuke's friend, the red haired Kazuma Kuwabara eyed the bulky demon and winced." No way…Toguro was human once?"

Elder Toguro snickered before his grin widened." The woman, after giving away her power to a student, made the foolish decision to challenge him to a fight. So they fought, though she was no match for him.

Aah. That's how my little brother killed Genkai...and sent her up to heaven. But the joke's on her…the IV &C invaded the Sprit World and made her suffer even more! HAHAHAH! That's what all of you get for putting your faith in things as useless as justice!

Come now brother…tell me what shape you think will make them suffer the most and the torment can begin! All you thought you were better for" hanging on to your values" but looks like those who sold out to the winning side are going to get everything! HAH, huh?"

He felt something and realized his brother was right behind him before the taller man cracked his neck." So you think I sold out to brother? You're in my way, brother."

He back handed the older Togoro brother hard enough to shatter his entire upper side.

The smaller demon regenerated, but screamed in pain as he did so before glaring at the member of his family." Hey, hey, hey. What do you think you're doing? You pawned your soul off too, didn't you?"

"That's irrelevant. I don't remember selling my honor."

"You deluded son of a, GUAH!"

Before his older brother could even attempt to stab him, the younger, and bigger Togoro punched him so hard that every cell in his body was vaporized from the impact. The now only Togoro looked at his fist and shrugged." Blood can only be so thick. I'm no saint, but I'm a warrior, not a cog."

Yusuke had his eye twitch before he shouted out," You think that makes what you did any better asshole?"

Togoro smirked before retorting with," You really are young…you don't know what it means to be really alive Yusuke. And that's because…even now after all this… Based on my experience as a former human, you're missing something important. could it be...you believe you're going to be spared from death? I'll rip you apart before Frieza has the chance to make you his slave! You will only get through today if you prove you're a worthy fight to me Yusuke! Your power lies dormant. In a blur he punched the ground where Yusuke was, and only because of the speed of his ally Hiei was he able to evade the impact that shattered a chunk of the entire arena. Togoro snickered before he wound up his fist." The next blow will hit."

Yusuke fired a massive blue energy beam from his finger, but Togoro just flexed his biceps and shattered the beam. As he saw Yusuke's shock the demon smirked." Rage, as expected. That's good, but it's not enough. Anger alone won't suffice. You must feel the same despair I felt!"

Hiei threw off the bandana on his head and revealed a third eye before dark flames crackled around him." Screw being dragged down your trauma! Let's end him Kurama!"

The red-haired man next to him nodded before his hair turned sliver." Agreed. Rose Whip Thorn Wheel!"

The one named Kurama lashed the ground, before vines burst out to grapple Togoro. As the demon's eyes shifted Hiei jumped up into the air before his Jagan eye glowed and he declared," Sword of the Darkness Flame!"

Black flames from the dragon tattoo on his arm glowed and black flames erupted out of his blade. However, Toguro narrowed his eyes before uttering," You think such tricks can stand in the way of Absolute Force? Forget it!"

He unleashed a surge of demonic energy before he easily shattered the rose whip, and caught Hiei's blade. As the flames consumed him he casually bat Hiei to the ground before he hissed out," Must be tough to watch, Urameshi.

Because you are...powerless. Urameshi, you're supposed to be stronger than this. How very naive. You're nothing more than Genkai's student. What will it take for you to understand? Do I have to kill everyone left in your pathetic life? Your nothing but a joke!"

He stomped at Yusuke only for Kuwabara to get in front of his friend." Just as the cherry blossom is a flower among flowers, Kuwabara is a man among men! I'm not afraid of you damn it! Sprit Sword!"

The red haired man created a blade of red energy and he charged at Toguro. The bigger man smirked before he in an instant jabbed his finger at Kuwabara's chest. As Yusuke screamed at his friend having blood come out of his chest Kuwabara had his eye twitch before he uttered," All right…your up Yusuke…make this count!"

As Kuwbara fell to the ground Toguro shrugged." Well that was anti climatic. You knew him for so long and now he's dead. Do you think that was sufficient for you? Or do I have to keep killing for you to get the point?"

Yusuke suddenly unleashed a surge of energy that made Toguro stagger back before he snickered bitterly." I guess that was enough."

"For you to grow up! Your friends are no more than an obstacle. Let them go. You and I are quite alike. Throw everything else away and grow stronger. Then we will have fun in the new era the Infinite Victory and Conquest Corporation will create."

He unleashed a roundhouse kick that Kenshrio easily blocked, causing Raoh to give a battle roar before he unleashed a barrage of punches on his opponent. Raoh kept up his assault till Kenshiro was pinned to a wall, and punched through him.

He grinned as he thought he shattered his rival, only to wince as he saw he only hit a after image. As he turned around and saw Kenshiro glaring at him from behind, he lashed out, only to realize he hit another a after image before he spat out," This flow of touki…these movements are Toki's! An enraged Raoh performed a rotating hand charge before he fired a large wave of tōki.

Igna saw that with being empowered by all of the other Fairy Tail members Natsu was able to cut through his flames before he bellowed out," Your friendship won't mean anything! Your all just prey to be devoured by the IV !"

As the two dragons tried to overpower each other, another showdown was brewing near them with another group, the Straw Hat pirates.

Saturn and the others were seeing that the pirates were able to keep up with their monstrous forms, and decided to resort to less direct tactics.

Saturn drew others to fight for him, including a man with heavily-tattooed arms and long, wild pale blue hair that wore a yellow vest, dark blue pants and black boots. Her hair was arranged into two long ponytails with two circular braids at the end; these circular braids were also seen at the top of her head. It's extremely long arms resembled piano keys. It wore a large top hat and was draped in a dark cloak, and had flaming skulls floating around its neck like a necklace.

He transformed into a cannon and fired a massive energy blast. At the same time the half bat half humanoid Megatron also known as Gigatron, transformed into a two headed dragon and unleash a stream of fire.

Bowser sneered at this before spitting back," You think you can out fire me? Get bent!"

The King of Koopa's took the shot Galvatron fired and tanked it with his shell before spinning around and unleashing a stream of fire to counter the dragons flames.

The Megatron with the armor of Unicron on him had lighting crackle around his fist as a Mini-Con named" Leader-1" became a enhancement on his glove before he went to punch Bowser, as another Megatron with brown spikes on his shoulders formed a sphere of purple energy and unleashed it at the group.

However in a flash Shadow appeared in front of the Megatron trying to unleash a physical attack, and used Chaos Control to smash him into the upcoming projectile.

As two Megatrons were blasted into the wall Shadow grasped his fist tightly." Not much show for such big talk."

Rhinox nodded as he blasted the Skeleton like Megatron with his chain guns the half human half rhino maximal yelled out," No matter what we will not let you turn Cybertron and every other world into a mindless lifeless wasteland! I, huh?"

His gun was shot out by an energy blast and he saw it came from a robot that looked like a humanoid tank. The new enemy kept firing blasts while yelling out," That's only because you are blind to how much more peaceful a, technologically pure Cybertron is, just like the rest of the Multiverse!"

"Only because you and I have nothing alike grunt."

"Heh, my name might be Tankor now, but I once was you before I became enlightened Rhinox!"

"I don't care if you were once me, if I was dumb enough to think your right I was better off scrapped! I won't ever forsake nature for the perfection of a tyrant! Get out of the way!"

Rhinox transformed into his beast mode, and as a Rhino he roared before charging right at Tankor, and rammed into him hard enough to launch him off the bridge and into the depths of Cybertron. Dinobot saw this, and parried the claw strikes of his pale clone before he snarled." Your right Rhinox…these pawns may have are bodies and even are memories…but they don't have are will!"

Dinobot two snarled as his eye laser glowed before he tried to blow the original Dinobot's head off. The defector of the Predacons countered with his own green eye laser beam. While his clone's projectile seemed stronger, Dinobot jabbed his blade into his clone's eye.

Inferno suddenly became Axl before the Next Generation Reploid revealed he had took the shape of the ant like Predacon and formed his Proton Cannon." The news is that you suck!"

He fired his blast to hit Omega Megatron, causing Primal, Orion Pax, Shadow, and the others to overpower the energy sphere and also blast Omega Megatron. As an explosion rocked the entire chamber Primal shrugged." Despite that god complex of yours, you and every other Megatron are not a god!"

While the other Megatron's prepared to attack further, all of a sudden wires burst out of the ground to impale them all. Suddenly they heard Omega Megatron snicker." Oh I'm aware I'm not a god yet Maximal. I just…have to transform!

He was about to move forward when a humanoid shadow with an x shaped tape coming out of his mouth. He then heard a sinister voice say," So, you have come this far, and still you understand nothing. Every light must fade, every heart return to darkness!"

Xehamaru raised an eyebrow before he saw a man rise out of his shadow. He had tan skin, amber-orange eyes, and long silver hair. However, his hair was smoothed back into three spikes on the top and sides of his head.

He was clad in black, high-collared, leather coat that had a red interior and yellow lining. This coat is grey from the waist down and has several buttons lining the hips, a belt around his waist, and a second one that extends from the waist and up to the collar to connect to several smaller straps.

The four shorter straps were buttoned to either side of the front of the collar while the remaining ones are buttoned to the shoulders to form spaulders. A black leather pauldron was attached to each spaulder by three buttons and two straps that button the rim of the coat and two more that cross over his upper back.

On his upper chest is the Heartless emblem in the form of a brooch that holds the outer coat together in place of a zipper or buttons and th IV &C logo.

Underneath this coat, He wore a white, thigh-length vest. This vest was also high-collared and exposes most of the man's chest, with three black buttons and two thin belts near his waist closing it up while the three remaining buttons below were undone.

In addition, he wore wide-brimmed, white gloves with three buttons lining the forearms and a grey band on either wrist. He also wears black pants that are tucked into knee-high boots with silver trimming and high concave indentations in the top.

Xehamaru saw the room get darker before his new foe declared," You know much, but you still know nothing compared to Ansem the Seeker of Darkness! All begins and ends in darkness!"

Xehamaru saw dark energy orbs form all around him before he narrowed his eyes." Oh, I know all about the fury of the dark side…I just know how to use it properly!"

As two large black energy spheres formed in his hands Xehamaru snickered." Maybe the deeper color will dominate most times, but then you just have to mix it up a bit, eh Castile?"

Ansem widened his eyes before a beam of holy energy went through his chest. As he turned around and saw the archangel's holy energy his eye twitched." The light…its so bright! But…why? The darkness is…AHH!"

The group moved on, and after a minute arrived in the same wide purple chamber with a neon bridge that Bugsy went into in the Tuner Fork on Earth X. Like the other counter part to Ben Auro, Benito looked around in confusion." How…am I supposed to do anything? I have no idea what this is!"

Angela looked at some of the data before the female Lombax smirked." Thankfully its not about what you know but how you feel! You are going to give an "imprint" to cause the energy in the future to do something differently then what that Sieg wants to do with the whole Multiverse."

Xehamaru saw the energy coursing out of the chamber before he took a deep breath." So this…is the power that is beyond any universe? A power that surpasses Master Zannacross, and any other devil across the Multiverse?"

"Correct" Robotnik replied." They're your possibilities! They look like you because that's how you interpret dimensionality, but as you can see, they've lost their way. It seems that trying to enter is causing a "probability storm," in which every potential choice is manifested as a different version of himself.

One way to sum it up is that this probability storm is a creative representation of superposition, a quantum principle in which objects can exist in multiple states simultaneous, and it's only after they are measured that their probability collapses and they are reduced to a single state."

As those in the Tuning Fork prepared to do all they could to ensure that they kept things from falling apart, those above were doing the same, some in tenser situations than others.

Some of the ones feeling more tension than most were Xeno Goku and Vegeta, who were figuring out how to not have to kill Trunks. Despite Trunks being from another universe, after the losses Xeno Vegeta went through he still felt bitter seeing another version of his son fight with bloodlust.

At the moment Vegeta caught Trunk's sword in his hands and winced as blood came out." You trained hard Trunks…it's a pity all that strength is being wasted."

Following that, Demonbane thrusts its fist forward, before each one that struck the Fixer of the IV &C caused a planet sized explosion to blast out.

At the same time Gogeta generates two Stardust Breakers in each hand. Clenching the spheres in his fists and igniting them crimson, orange, he charged forward to smash the Upside Down man while he was distracted from the" Soul Burst" attack, as at the same time, Ultra Sonic struck with his Infnite Mass Spindash attack.

As Gingrich roared in pain Doug gave those around him a half-lopped smirk." Could not hide this guy for long yah feel me? We are all not normally best pals but we joined up because we all are pissed off at you trying to take everything!"

Gingrich looked like he was in real pain from the barrage, before he unleashed a yell that seemed to shake the very fabric of the universe." TO DAMN BAD! WINNER TAKES ALL COCK SUCKER! YOU ARE CLOSER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN MY WAY I'LL GIVE YOU THAT FITTER! BUT CLOSE IS NOT ENOUGH!

Doug was knocked back a bit before he spat and shrugged." Maybe not yet, but the fight's not over till the last count eh asshole? Still, like I said before its time for things to get serious. Astra, James, get out of hear if you want to keep your plan going, I'll keep this asshole busy."

Astra winced before uttering," Damn it old man I wanted you to own up for what you did but dying like a moron is not going to do jack!"

"Did I say I'm letting this sell out kill me? I don't care if he really is me from another universe, I said long ago I'd punch myself if it was in my way and I'm sticking to that! I may not be able to punch him out yet but I can hold my own, but only if you're not in the crosshairs you hear? Just go back home while I finish this."

The Eldritch Dominion class being merely narrowed his eyes before roaring out," WHY' YA LOOKIN'AT ME LIKE THAT!? I GUESS YOUR FACE NEEDS SOME MORE BEATING! IT WAS ONLY A LIE BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO WEAK TO WIN BROAD SO GET OUT OF MY WAY! LOSERS ONLY REWARD IS DEATH!"

His fingers divided and burst out to hit the planet, but some of those who were still alive like Toguro charged to attack the incoming massive claw. Hearts used all of his power to unleash a force powerful enough to knock the Upside Down man down a few meters.

In response his target yelled out," ENOUGH ITS OVER!"

As energy formed in his mouth, At the same time Lord Genome had Nia and those on his ship warp to the other ships before the Spiral King cried out," ITS NOT OVER YET! Lazengan…OVERLOAD!"

He burst out of the ship in his black mecha and instantly had a barrage of drills slam into the energy blast as he yelled out," Don't grieve for me daughter! My soul once drowned in the sea of despair but has been awakened! If the life of this body of mine will create a tomorrow for all life in the Multiverse then I will gladly give it!"

"I…understand father. Let's go Viral."

"YOUR DEATHS ALL MEAN LESS THEN THE DIRT IN MY TEETH!" Gingrich howled out as he only had his sphere become the size of a supernova, before suddenly the Wunder slammed into his mouth too. Misato smirked as she let out a bitter chuckle." Ritsuko…look after all the children and survivors left behind. Ryoji…this was the only thing I could do for you my son."

As both members of the alliance rammed into their target's mouth D-16, Doctor Tenma, and Vector Prime had the Anti-Matter in Cybertron overflow before the former miner gave Gingrich a defiant look." No matter how powerful you are…MY KIND WILL NEVER BE YOUR SLAVES! Cybertronians…FOREVER!"

He caused all of Cybertron to prepare to erupt, and Omni-Bulma used all of her power to cause the entire planet to glow before it phased through the Upside Down man's body." Still think my genius is nothing?"

As it was inside him, Gingrich had his eye twitch and raise his arm." DAMN IT MY FIST HAVE YOUR DIRTY BLOOD ON THEM! IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT EVERYONE IN EVERY UNIVERSE THINKS! WE MAY JUST BE THE 0.0001 PRECENT OF THE MULITVERSE BUT WE ARE THE WINNERS AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS! EVERY LAST " TOUGH GUY" DYING MEANS NOTHING! The two fighter's fists collided, and while Doug's opponent's fist was much bigger then him, to the Upside Down man's shock Doug was not blown away.

He saw that a aura had surronded Doug that seemed to be covering the entire universe , and that the energy from the tower was flowing into him before his target grinned."No but I am more badass than a tool like you will ever be! This fight's not over, its JUST GETTING STARTED!"

Astra, James, Xehamaru, Benito, and everyone else in their group at this time was warped into Reymond's brother's ship or the other two, and Astra saw her father was holding her own before she tensed up." Dad…are you, AHH!"

The shockwave caused everyone to be knocked off their feet, just as Cybertron self destructed in Ginrich's mouth. This, along with Bulma and the other former villains last efforts, and the self destruction of Genome's mecha and the Wunder caused an explosion that lighted up the entire universe, before the universe seemed to collapse from the impact.

James's eyes were blinded before he uttered," Doug…not like this, it can't end like this. Huh?"

As the three ships were about to be blown off course in the tunnel between universe's, a computerized voice suddenly cut in with," Conditions met…target locked…DNA signature lock confirmed… Emergency crises retrieval Spiral Sepulkore Getter Warp…activated."

Like with Mike's group, this group was also forcefully dragged into hyperspace just as the space time anomaly consumed the universe they were in. As everyone was thrown around, and found themselves in a blank white space Benito looked shocked before uttering," Are…are we in heaven?"

Xehamaru chuckled bitterly before uttering," At the very least I can confirm that this is not hell. But if this is Sieg's personal realm then the game might be over."

James saw something in the distance, and it only took moments to see that it was the Cathedral Elysium Terra. His eyes widened as he uttered," Wait…is that…really you Ben?"

Astra's eyes widened as she ran up." Seriously? That…that's Mike's dad's ship?"

Xehamaru widened his eyes before uttering," Wait...that's Max's ship...the Tri-Edge?"

"Yes...after a extreme amount of customization to make it his own world. Since it endured the destruction of a universe it seems it was a worthy investment."

James quickly pressed a code before a computerized male voice responded with," Pass code accepted…please enter voice code to pass Tri-Edge defenses."

The Enji Master took a deep breath before he looked at everyone." The game's not over yet. But one way or another…we are in the endgame for the fate of the Multiverse now."

Authors Notes: Another not so small number of Authors notes today so let's get started.

Adio Suerte is from the RPG One Piece Odyssey. I figured since the manga is still ongoing needed someone who had a bit more decisive showdown with Luffy so far lol. Uta is also from the One Piece Red film. I know the four fights at the start were not too vital but wanted to show all the showdowns to set the tone of a tribute to anime across the years.

Waspinator, Inferno, and Terrorsaur were from Beast Wars, Jetstorm and Tankor was from Beast Machines, Skybite was from the Transformers 2001 anime and Predaking was from Transformers Prime.

Vector Prime was the version from Transformers Cybetron.

Johan Liebert is from the Monster anime.

Tuxedo Mask is from Sailor Moon, Queen Nehelenia was from Sailor Moon Super S

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquezand, Starks, Nnoitra Gilga, Szayelaporro Granz and Tier Halibel was from Bleach, and Xehanorts heartless was from Kingdom Hearts …wanted Xehamaru to encounter all of those he was based on however briefly lol.

Ruri and the Demonbane mecha are from the Demonbane series.

As for the truth about Gingrich's origins…I'll just say there is more to the story yet but we will hopefully get there in time but I have been inspired by the Oswald "Oz" Cobb variation of the Penguin to say the least so just image that guy from the show with the power of Cthulhu or something.

Hope everyone liked how this arc was resolved, we will see if I can get another chapter done before the end of 2024, it might be delayed because the next arc is going to be special, but can't reveal why till it's out.
