,Café Love

Chapter 3

Sonic ran all the way through Mystic ruins and through Station Square to reach Rouge's mansion. He took a breath in and then out realising that he'd have to tell the bat that he liked Amy or maybe he could say he just liked someone else and she wouldn't realise.

The blue hedgehog knew the bat had experience in this sort of thing, so she was the best person to ask.

Sonic knocked on the door and his eyes went wide when Shadow opened the door. "Faker!" The dark hedgehog frowned at his rival.

"You're the faker here, faker!" Sonic growled but smirked his ears perked up at the sound of Rouge she appeared behind Shadow and placed a hand on Shadow's shoulder.

"Okay, boy's no fighting in my house I just got it redecorated!" She exclaimed and shoved Shadow to the side and raised her eye as she looked at Sonic "well if isn't blue, what do I owe the pleasure of you visiting little ole me?" She smiled with a seductive smirk.

Sonic chuckled slightly "hey Rouge, well I kinda need your advice."

Rouge raised her eye "advice you say, hm. I hope I can help well come on in!"

"Shadow stand aside…and I'm serious do not start anything in my house!" Rouge warned.

Shadow rolled his eyes "I won't as long a faker minds his own business."

Sonic groaned "ya gonna stop calling me faker?"

"BOYS!" Rouge yelled with a growl.

The two sighed and looked away from one another and Rouge led them to the kitchen to offer Sonic a drink. "So, blue what sort of advice are you looking for?" Rouge asked as she popped open a can herself and she threw one to Shadow who caught it with ease.

Sonic took a drink and sat the can down on the worktop, "well I'd be more comfortable to ask this if Shadow wasn't here."

Shadow smirked "do I make you uncomfortable?"

Sonic rolled his eyes "yeah when I wanna ask this, would ya mind Shadow. We'll battle in the Mystic Ruins sometime how about that?"

Shadow nodded with his eyes closed "fair enough. Rouge's is all yours." The dark hedgehog said and strolled through into the living room of the bat's house.

"So, what kind of advice are you looking for?" Rouge raised her eye.

Sonic sat his can down and rubbed his head, "w-well uhh, let's see, well there is this girl I really like and I know I like her but I haven't told her. I've seen her with another guy who has asked her out on a date and I'm afraid she might like him and not me."

Rouge smirked all through this she knew exactly who he was talking about but she played along unknownly about it "well my advice would be to ask her out on a date and tell her before anything goes too far with this other guy." Rouge explained with a smile.

Sonic sighed "I was afraid you were going to say that."

"You might be surprised." Rouge smirked.

Sonic rubbed his head "well thanks for the advice Rouge. I'll have a think about it."

The blue hedgehog smiled and said goodbye and headed out of the mansion. "Hm, guess this is my only option." He sighed and zoomed off heading to the mystic ruins.

Meanwhile..

Amy sighed as she looked upon her outfit "I guess this'll do," she muttered and sighed again. She was happy she was going on a date with someone new, but her heart wished it was Sonic, but he'd never asked her out and she always had to ask him and when she did he'd never show up.

"Maybe I'll move on from Sonic I mean Zach seems nice enough he's famous too not that that matters," Amy muttered as she grabbed her bag.

She looked at the clock and saw that it was five and suddenly there was a knock at the door. She breathed in and out and went to open the door. Zach stood with a smile on his face his eyes widened at Amy "wow Amy…Y-you look beautiful…" He uttered.

Amy blushed slightly "oh thank you Zach." She wasn't used to compliments like this.

"Heh, w-well you ready to go?" Zach said nervously.

"Sure." She smiled and Zach lead the way and they caught a cab to the popular café.

As they entered Zach was bombarded with girls screaming at him "oh, it's Zach he's so dreamy!" One cat girl screamed.

Bolt was sitting at a table when he noticed the commotion and quickly got up to help he walked quickly up to the girls. "Okay ladies let the hedgehog's through we're not on tonight so leave us be!" He exclaimed gently pushing the girls aside and he made a path for his friend and his date.

Zach sighed in relief as Amy did as well, "thanks Bolt your always looking out for me." He smiled at the wolf.

"Well you've helped me many times so I gotta help you," Bolt nodded with his eyes closed then opened them again.

Zach smiled and turned his head to Amy "oh Amy this is Bolt one of my most trusted friends and he likes to act as my body guard. Bolt this Amy the girl I told you guys about." Zach said as he motioned from Bolt to Amy.

Amy smiled at the wolf "it's nice to meet you Bolt."

"Right back at you Miss Amy, you know you do look familiar where have I seen you before?" He questioned.

Amy was about to reply when she saw two hedgehogs waving at them the pop star beside her waved back "hey guys! Come on Amy I want to introduce you to my other band members." Zach grinned and lead, the rosy hedgehog to the table.

"Ok," Amy smiled with a nod and she followed.

"Hey Zach how are you man we almost thought you weren't coming…..Oh is this the girl you told us about?!" Jake asked with a smirk.

"She's hot!" Rex exclaimed with a grin as he stood from the table.

Amy blushed and Zach pushed the hedgehog down, "yeah, she is, but she's mine. Now sit down!"

"Heh," Rex rubbed his head.

"Amy these are my band members this is Jake and this is Rex, guys this is Amy." Zach said introducing them.

"Nice to meetcha why don't ya join us?" Offered Jake.

Amy smiled "oh, its lovely to meet you all, I'd love to join you."

Zach and Amy sat down at the table and they all chatted about many different things and had something to eat. After a little while there was suddenly a loud bang coming from outside the café and down the street a bit.

Amy looked out the window and gasped when she spotted Eggman flying in his egg mobile "It's Eggman!" She exclaimed and quickly got out the booth that she was sitting in with the band.

"Egg who?" Questioned Zach with a raised eye and he looked out the window "whoa…" he jumped as Amy made her way out the booth "Amy where are…." He gasped as he saw the pink hedgehog appear before the strange man and she had a hammer in her hand.
