Azaco is the brother of the Vampire known as Nitara who both associate themselves with a small group of Vampires who also survived the invasion of their home realm of Vaeturnus which led to the realm being merged into Outworld at the hands of Emperor Shao Kahn. Some time ago, this group had got into some conflict with some soldiers who were a part of the Kahn Guard which led to the Vampires being imprisoned in the Cobalt Mines. Azaco allowed his sister to escape the soldiers by distracting them which led to his own imprisonment. Alone for months, Nitara began planning to rescue all her allies from the Cobalt Mines and when she found Li Mei and Jade the perfect opportunity arose and Nitara freed them. Azaco is filled with hatred towards anyone who's a part of the Kahn Guard while also being overprotective of his sister. Together the group of Vampires continue to hunt for the orb that will restore their glorious realm.
