Cualli is seen by those who know her as a kind Osh-Tekk woman who is dedicated to her work. She was initially a mailwoman back in the days where Hinpar, the realm that Osh-Tekk are native to, was yet to have been conquered by Shao Kahn. This job eventually led to her sending letters to Kotal Ketz, the ruler of Hinpar who eventually offered her position as a royal messenger. Even after Hinpar was merged into Outworld, Cualli continued to serve the Ketz family by sending messages to allying members of the Kahn Guard, even having to deliver some letters to former Emperor Shao Kahn himself. After Shao Kahn's death though, many members of the forced faction called the Kahn Guard, joined the newly founded Mileena's Union. The Ketz family themselves joined the Union, which Cualli was more than pleased with due to the promises of truly uniting the realms without need of brute force and tyranny. Cualli's work expanded from just the Ketz royal family, to serving Empress Mileena herself sometimes. Mileena's Union was composed of allies from numerous different realms, with that number growing as one of the groups primary goals have been to restore the realms merged into Outworld by Shao Kahn thousands of years ago. This meant that Cualli often had to engage in interrealm travelling when delivering her messages to allies from realms outside of Outworld, which had made her quite fond of travelling as well as knowledgeable of several realms. Recently having begun dating a Hinparian named Ruby, an archeologist also intrigued and informed about the realms with them both desiring the freedom of their homerealm.
