"No!" Hiten yelled, "No, no no!"
Models were in front of a fountain in a plastic raincoat. This was more of an art piece.
"Kagome!" He snapped. Kagome ran forward wearing dark blue jean shorts with a green one-piece bathing suit under it. Not so much for the heat but for the added water and 'rain' they were making. Kagome quickly dried the model's face.
"Kagome!" Hiten snapped "Give her your hair tie!"
"My hair tie?"
"YES!" He snapped.
Kagome tore it out and Sango helped put the girl's long black hair up.
"Better now get out of the way!" He yelled, and they ran.
Kouga had told Hiten that they would take the job even though they didnt. He came in the next day yelling at them, wondering why they were not ready. Once they told him no he freaked out and told them too bad because he had already sent the other girls away.
So they gave up their desk jobs for this.
Sango went back to digging through packs of stuff while Kagome sat down at a cast iron table, she crossed her legs and watched as Hiten took shots of the girls, he was pleased now she guessed.
A breeze blew by and she closed her eyes and tilted her head up a bit to catch it, her hair blew back while a small strand caught at her neck.
She heard a camera and opened her eyes.
"Kouga your back,"
"Thats going to be an awesome photo,"
She rolled her eyes "Stop it,"
"You should so let me take photos of you."
"Not on your life," Knowing him he would put her in red paint and nothing else.
He came at sat down "So you like the job?"
"It's ok,"
"Come on you get to work with me," He smiled big,
"So you leaving for Tokyo?"
"Yeah, sure you dont wanna come?"
"Im sure, so when are they tying the knot?"
"June,"
Of course,e they were getting married in June, and it would never rain. It never did when they had a party, or wedding, or whatever. That only left her 3 months, 3 months to prepare herself for it.
Kagome picked up her bottle of water and started to drink.
"Sesshomaru's coming back to Paris with me,"
She spit out her water "What!"
He laughed "He said you would freak out,"
She stood "That demon lives to make my life hell and I haven't even seen him in years!"
He laughed and stood "Well I have a plane to catch, I'll be back in about 4 days,"
She groaned but kissed each cheek as the French often did and he was on his way.
"So?" Sango snuck over,
Kagome sank back down "He is off to plan a wedding,"
"What was with the freak out at the end?"
"Sesshomaru's coming back with him,"
"Really, wonder what for?"
"To make my life a living hell," Of course, she knew that wasn't the reason he was coming, he had more important things to do, but she knew he would sneak in a good tease or two while he was here.
"Are we having a tea party or working ladies!" Hiten snapped.
Both girls jumped up, grabbed towels, and covered the now-soaked models.
"You could not pay enough to do this forever," Sango said,
"Right," Kagome could not agree more.
"Never say never," Kaura spoke coming from her spot on the shoot.
Kagome and Sango shook their heads.
Thankfully that was it for the day. That night Kagome wrote to Miroku and sent him a photo of Sango and some old model shots from a shoot with kaugra last year, bikini season at its best. She was sure she would get a letter back with blood spots on it, he was going to get a nosebleed.
"Lights out Kagome," Sango called from her room in their now shared apartment "Hai Im done!"
Kagome wasn't sleeping much these days.
"Im here!" Kouga barged into the Tashio house the next day.
"Were you raised in the wild wolf?" Sesshomaru asked coming down the long dark hall.
"Yes, yes I was,"
"Inuyasha will be down in a moment,"
"Prince Kouga is that you?" Lord Inutashio called from his office door, which swung open as Sesshomaru passed it.
"It's me!"
"How is Kagome doing," Was his first question,
"Working under me now so much better" He gave a big grin "Soon I'll have her right where I want her!"
"And where is that wolf, do not tell me you to have become fond of this, humankind?"
"Oh yeah, im gonna make her my woman!"
Sesshomaru snorted "Would that not require her to be a woman?"
Kouga pulled a photo out of his side bag "Looks woman enough to me,"
He held it up.
Sesshomaru glanced at the black and white photo that Kouga had snapped of her.
His father snatched it up "She looks healthy but why the long face, is she sad, should I send her something?"
"Do not Father it will only spoil her to what she can not possibly have,"'
He got him every time with that line "It's just flowers and well wishes,"
Sesshomaru eyed the photo again before taking his leave, leaving Kouga to deal with his brother.
That night however Sesshomaru was not spared from a guys-only dinner at the house. It was useless to him but his father insisted after all the brother he was not greatly fond of was getting married.
"Show Inuyasha the photo of Kagome, he hasn't seen her in 3 years!" Inutashio said,
Kouga slid it over where Miroku and Inuyasha looked at it "She's got boobs!" Inuyasha said,
Sesshoamru wanted to roll his eyes. Uncooth idiots, all of them.
