SPEED DEMON PART 2
The other rangers sense Chucks Chi and finds him on the road unconscious. They immediately bring him back to The Lounge to treat his wounds. Luckily his wounds weren't that bad due to his ranger powers protected him from the accident which only gave him a few cuts and bruises. Chole uses her powers to heal Chuck and he slept for a few hours. Thad and Walter get the pieces of Chucks motorcycle up and bring them to the lounge. Thad was amazed by how much the bike managed to catch up to SuDu. Peter calls Master Quan to be there for Chuck when he wakes up. When Master Quan arrived, Thad greets him.
"Hiroshi! You havent aged a day."
"How you doing my friend?" Asks Master Quan. "I know these circumstances are tough but thank you for your help."
"Circumstances….you mean the fact that you are some kind of immortal and you are the reason the power rangers are here to save us every day? Trust me this has been the best day ever." Says Thad.
Master Quan smiles and Shake Thads hand. They both head over to Chuck's damaged bike and see that Chuck will be upset once he sees all his hard work going down the drain.
"Seems like that phantom didn't admire the work me and Chuck did." Says Master Quan. "It's going to be a major challenge to fix this in order to defeat it. It seems he uses his chi to power his bike thats why the lasers were able to make Chuck demorph."
"Hmmmm….." Thinks Thad. "Maybe we can match that somehow. You know give the others an edge. I have some spare bikes in the back enough for the rangers themselves."
"Wow… Thats a great idea." Says Master Quan. "Let's get to work!"
Many hours have passed by and the others wait for Chuck to wake up. 30 minutes later Chuck finally wakes up.
"Chuck you're okay!" Says Willow. "How you feeling?"
Chuck rubs his multiple wounds. "I'll survive. Why are we back here?"
"Well Master Quan showed up and catches up with Thad." Says Walter. "Dont worry Master Quan isnot mad that you reached out to Thad. The two are actually working on something that will help us best Sudu."
Chuck scoffs." Well I hope so. Because I got worked and dusted pretty badly. I owe SuDu some payback.
"Well Hun better not hear you say that!" Laughs Walter.
The rest of the rangers laugh but Chuck doesn't see anything funny. "How about I kick you in your ass and give you brain damage?! Would you like that."
Walter throws his hands in the air. "Okay my bad, meanwhile let's all check up on Thad and Master Quan. "
Peter helps Chuck out and the rest followed to where Thad and Master Quan were at. They see the two standing up feeling exhausted from the work they accomplished. "Oh rangers! just in time. Walter I see you are recovering." Says Master Quan.
"Yeah…. Sorry about finding Thad without your permission." Says Chuck. "I just wanted to…..
"I understand. But I'm glad you did." Says Master Quan. "I wouldn't have been able to reconnect with an old friend and help out if it wasn't for you."
"But look we might have something to that will help you all even the odds against SuDu." Says Thad. "Viloa!" Thad shows the rangers five refurbished motorcycles. While everyone was impressed, Chuck wasn't.
"Uh ….no offense but these are just ordinary bikes. I doubt this will give us an edge,"
"We know." Says Master Quan. "That why you need to fuse them with your chi. Everyone call out the ancient beast of your zord!"
The rangers all stand in line and channel their chi in front of the motorcycles.
"Drakon"
"Shi"
"Nubia"
"Deva"
"Cerar"
The rangers chi infused the motorcycles and they immediately transformed. The new motorcycles looked like the rangers ancient beast armed with weapons and defensive equipment. Chuck was amazed.
"These are your new Beast Cycles." Says Thad. "We knew that once we build these bikes to the best of our abilities. Your powers took care of the rest."
The rangers go to their respective beast cycle. And they were amazed.
"Oh SuDu by the time you see us, it will be too late." Says Chuck.
SuDu terrorizes the streets of Atlanta. Cops couldn't stop him as he caused accidents and killed a few people. He enjoys of the delight. of being fast and doesn't matter if destruction and life is lost.
The phantom makes it to the edge of the city through the open road. As he laughs he is then blasted by laser blast. He blocks his eyes and he looks and sees the rangers are on their new beast cycles. The rangers halt in front of him.
"Oh look at this?" Says SuDu. "The little rangers got them some new bikes. I doubt that these things can keep up with me."
"I don't think this will be like last time!" Says Chuck. "Also you and I have some unfinished business."
SuDu scoffs at Chuck and drives away. The rangers start up their beast cycles and go after him. As the phantom pulls off the rangers follow behind and they split up. SuDu looks back at the rangers but they have vanished. Confused he looks back in front of him and he sees Walter and Peter riding towards him. SuDu smirks and starts to blast at them. The two took counter with manifest shields from their beast cycles. The two drive off and tagged Willow and Chole in. The two chi started to emit from their beast cycles, they both started to make a chain and grabs SuDu. The phantom struggles to break free. He manages to break free, but it takes a toll on his back.
"Alright chuck! Its all you!" Says Willow.
Chuck comes from afar speeding towards, SuDu. The phantom fires his blast at Chuck. However Chuck used his shields to block it. SuDu gets angry and his all his speed to run Chuck off the road. Chuck doesnt waiver his balance and resolve. She still charges towards SuDu. Chuck releases his left arm from his handle and call forth his Shi Staff.
"Time for you to hit the shop! Shi Staff! Power Up!"
Chuck's shi staff emits green chi and his beast cycle also. He charges towards SuDu and makes a direct hit destroying the phantoms bike. SuDu falls off to the ground injured. The rangers parked their beast cycles and dismounted them. As SuDu gets his baring, he is then trapped by the Tao symbol. The rest of the team circled around him as Chuck walked towards the phantom. He then performed the Chi exorcism to rid SuDu back to the phantom world. As black darkens the host eyes black smoke emits from the body and shoots off onto the sky and the last words from SuDu were that of screams.
The host falls to the ground unconscious. The rangers take him to the hospital to whereas the hospital will monitor him while in a coma. This is the doctor's only course of action due to what the others like Terrance are going through.
A few hours later, they all returned to the lounge and they are all congratulated by Thad and Master Quan. Thad closed up the lounge for tonight and treated everyone to a home cooked meal. Thad gets everyones attention.
"Hey guys I would like to purpose a toast. Don't worry all of you will be drinking club soda. But anyway I would like to purpose a toast to a job well done. You also brought the beast cycles back in one piece. You guys are incredible. Also I like to thank Chuck. that reunited me with my good friend Hiroshi. I sense that you are a good kid and I was right. You did good today."
Everyone claps for Thad and Chuck. They all raise their glasses and take a drink and started to dig in. Peter was about to reach for a fork but accidentally touch Chloe's hand. They both side eyed each other and quickly Peter pulled away embarrassed but Chloe kind of blush. Chuck started to dig in on the food which he was being less than manarable . From not using utensils, wiping his mouth with a napkin, and among other things. Willow looks over at Chuck with disgust and notice that he even with his bad attitude he still makes her laugh on how he eats his food. Walter reaches over where Chuck was eating, and Chuck stops and gives Walter a stern look which made Walter back away.
As the food dwindles down, the rangers helped clean up. Meanwhile Thad and Master Quan catch up.
"Hey Thad something I noticed that you said that you can sense that Chuck is a good guy."
"Yeah what of it?" Ask Thad.
"Well you see.. I know the phrase of being a good judge of character, but I know when a person can sense Chi." Says Master Quan."
"Is that what that is?" Says Thad." Ive knew it was something. But I just didn't know what it was. It's been like that all my life. I was able to stop fights in my lounge long before it could even start."
"You know with proper training, I can teach you to control of your chi as much as I am doing for the rangers now."
"Id like that!" Says Thad. "But under one condition.
"Name it!" Says Master Quan.
"Lets have a race around the 285 interstate." Request Thad. " I want to see if you still got that rider in you!"
"Sure lets go!"
The two grab two motorcycles and began to race around interstate 285 just like old times.
Back at the lounge as Chloe was putting dishes away, she then gets a face time call from her cousin Aisha.
"Hey Cus!" Says Chloe. "How you been?"
"Im doing great!" Says Aisha. "You know we all miss you over here. You could of waited for me to go with you to set up the exhibit thats coming up. By the way how is it going?"
"Well some days are short. Some are long. But I have a lot of off days." Says Chloe. "Theres also a lot going on here as well."
"Ive heard." Says Aisha. "But luckily these new team of power rangers are there to save the day. Also I have some good news! In a few months I will be coming to visit and I can help you prepare for the exhibit!
Chloe's eyes widen with surprise.
"Oh really!!! Thats amazing!!! I can't wait to see you and you got to meet my new friends! And also there is this guy i kinda like."
"Wow!! Friends and a potential boyfriend?" Says Aisha. "Does he feel the same about you?"
"I don't know yet but only time will tell." Replies Chloe.
As the two cousins talk, outside the lounge Chuck stands outside admiring his beast cycle. Willow comes outside as well.
"Well well well….you couldn't resist coming out to gwak at the beast cycles huh?
"Its a dream come true a bike suped up like this deserves the eyes on it." Says Chuck. "Also what are you doing out here?"
"Well….since we all finished up here, Tyler is going to pick me up." Replied Willow.
Chuck grin slightly drops. "Oh him… Listen Im not going to tell you who you want to be with but you never mentioned him before. Where is he from."
"Hes from my hometown of Bainbridge." Replied Willow." I thought I was over him but it turns out I just put the feelings away. You know how that is right."
"Unfortunately i do." Says Chuck . I just want to let you know that if you're happy then I'm happy. You deserve it."
Willow stands and folds here arms with surprise." Well look who matured. Well hes here now you might want to put that away. Don't want our secret to get out there."
Chuck puts away his beast cycle and he walks Willow to Tyler. Tyler is seen standing outside his car and nods for Willow. Willow runs up to Tyler and hugs and kisses him. Which made Chuck a little uncomfortable.
"Oh Tyler this is my good friend Chuck."
"Nice to meet you man. I heard a lot about you." Says Tyler as he reaches to shake Chucks hand.
Chuck looks at Tylers hand." Im sorry man i was just working on my bike and got oil on it so I don't want to be rude."
"No worries. I respect that." Says Tyler. "I hear that you and Willow been through a lot together and also looked out for each other. I wanna thank you for that. And you guys are on track to graduate high school that's great."
"Yeah sometimes I cant believe it myself." Says Chuck.
"Well Tyler… we don't want to bore Chuck with our presence. "Says Willow." Chuck has a new bike he wants to drive on his own and he's itching to tells us to piss off. Plus we got that field trip in tomorrow."
"Gee how you know I was gonna tell you to piss off." Says Chuck as he turns and walks away. "You two don't stay up too late."
Tyler opens the car door for Willow and she looks off at Chuck walking away. Chuck gets clear and morphs. He mounts his beast cycle and drives off into the night to blow off some steam.
Later on that night, Walter leaves the lounge with his beast cycle and goes out of town. Luckily for Walter the beast cycle does not need gasoline. He makes it to a city called Macon Georgia. He pulls up to a house, and hides his beast cycle. He walks up to the door and knocks on the door. It opens up and it was Walter's pregnant girlfriend Sharane. Walter has a smile on his face that he hasn't seen her in a while and shes surprised that he came to see her. He goes and spends the night with her. Without her parents knowing of course.
Peter per usual goes to the hospital to look after Terrance. However his condition has not changed. As he straightens Terrance's room up. He reads him a book before leaving for tonight. However as Peter was leaving the hospital, he briefly sensed something strange coming from all the patients that were possessed by phantoms. But the quickly it came to him it then went away. Peter brush it off and left the hospital grounds.
Once he leaves everyone that was possessed started to emit dark chi energy. On the rooftop across from the hospital, Ye Lin is seen smiling.
"Yes! Just a few more and my plan will finally come to fruition!"
