(15 years ago, Musutafu Warehouse District)
With a fierce kick, the door comes flying off it's hinges as Heroes barge into the room, cornering the lone occupant. The man is, or rather was, a doctor of genetics. Recently however, his research had taken a less than moral turn, as had his fundraising efforts. Using his Quirk to alter genetic code he had been trying to create clones of powerful Heroes to raise an army, but word had gotten out and now the man's schemes would be for nothing.
The man tries to make a break for a nearby window, but gray strands of cloth wrap around his body and pull him back. Eraserhead, the man with the weaponized scarf, steps forward and hauls the man to his feet, as well as into the waiting custody of the police force.
After the man himself has been taken care of, the Heroes split up to search for anything that remains of his research. Coming to a secluded room, Aizawa forces the door open to begin his search. Inside, he finds several suspended animation tanks sized for small children. Almost all are empty, but one in the back corner is both occupied and active.
Approaching, he finds a baby with pale skin and a head of black hair, sleeping peacefully in the tank. Aizawa grimaces. It looks like the man had managed to succeed at least once before they caught wind of his actions.
Carefully, Aizawa deactivates the tank and lifts the child out. Looking around, he finds some cloth wraps nearby and uses them to carefully swaddle the baby. Leaving the room with the child in tow, Aizawa goes to find Naomasa. Attempting this whole operation was one thing, but with tangible proof that the man had succeeded the situation, and the man's fate, only became more complicated to sort out.
He lets out a long, tired sigh. He has a feeling he won't be getting much sleep that night.
(Hours later, Musutafu General Hospital)
Aizawa can't believe his eyes. And based on the fact his husband's jaw is on the floor, he isn't alone. In his hands he holds the results of the baby's DNA test. After the doctors had gotten the results, they had run them through a database containing the DNA sequences of most of Japan's citizens and compiled a report with the closest match.
Him.
The child Aizawa found had been cloned from his DNA.
Naomasa let out a tired sigh, "Yeah, I figured this is what would happen when you saw. Not sure how the guy got yours, but he tried to start his army off with a Quirk that could be very… problematic in the hands of a Villain. That aside, we need to decide what to do with the kid. We could send him into the system, but we all know how that could turn out."
Aizawa frowns, memories of his own time bouncing from home to home crossing his mind, "We aren't doing that to him."
Naomasa nods, "Then we'll need to find a suitable home for him."
Mic starts, "We-"
Aizawa cuts him off, "We'll take him."
Mic's eyes go wide, "Wait, really? I thought I'd have to beg you."
Aizawa shakes his head, "No. I won't let this kid go through what I did. I doubt things have changed since I was stuck there, I won't let the same happen to him."
Mic smiles at his husband, "Well if even you're saying it Sho, then I guess we're getting a kid."
Naomasa chuckles, a small smile on his face, "Wonderful, with that sorted it won't be too much trouble for him to be placed in your care. Now, what name should I put down on the paperwork?"
Aizawa thinks a moment before answering, "-
(Present Day, Yamazawa household)
"Kenji! Get out of bed!"
Groaning, the boy sinks deeper under his blankets, cuddling closer to the cats that had invaded his bed during the night. Eventually, his papa comes into the room to see what's taking so long. With an amused chuckle, the blonde Hero nudges his son.
A few more nudges and he speaks, "Kenji, come on, you gotta get out of bed! It's your first day at school! Even Hitoshi is up by now!"
Kenji cracks an eye open to glare at the intruder, "Leave me to drown in cats."
Mic chuckles, "No can do kiddo! As your papa, and one of your teachers, it is my sworn duty to make sure you get to school on time!"
Kenji just does his best imitation of a cat's his (which is actually pretty good and startles a couple of the cats in his bed)
Mic is unamused, "Kid, if you don't get out of bed I'll have to carry you to the breakfast table."
Kenji glares harder, "You wouldn't."
Mic nods, "I would. But it won't be so bad! There's Deathwish coffee waiting at the table."
Kenji sits up so fast it sends the cats scattering. Mic just chuckles and leads the way to the kitchen. Claiming his coffee, Kenji sits at the table and breathes a contented sigh. Truly, all is right with the world.
After coffee and breakfast, the family of four heads out to the car so they can get to school. In the backseat, Hitoshi and Kenji are arguing over which fruit is best for your trees in animal crossing.
"I'm telling you!", Hitoshi says, "Peaches are the way to go!"
Kenji shakes his head, ponytail whipping about behind him, "Hell no, cherries are where it's at!"
After a short car ride, the four arrive and go their separate ways, the first day of school about to begin.
A/N: Welp, this happened. Why don't we see where it goes? Who knows, maybe we'll find out what kind of crack I was snorting when the premise came to me, bc I'd sure like to know.
