Masachika nearly lost track of time while he stared owlishly at the sight of Yuki bowing down to him. It's not even a normal in which she was in a degrading position that's unbecoming for someone like her.

But she didn't seem to care about that or how embarrassing this was, because there's only one thing that matters to her.

"Onii-chan… I can't survive… without you… please… let me stay with you… don't throw me away…"

And it was there that Masachika finally snapped out of his stupor, realizing that his sister needed him more than anything else right now.

He quickly knelt and grabbed her shoulders, lifting her up until she was on her knees. As Yuki continued to cry in spite of it, Masachika wasted no time and brought her in for a hug.

"I won't. I won't… shhh… it's okay. I'm here… I'm here, Yuki. Shhh… it's fine now," he tried his best to give her some words of comfort, while his hand rubbed her back softly.

"Y-You won't… throw me out…?"

"I won't. I promise. Can you get up? Or do you want me to carry you?"

Yuki didn't say anything. She simply sat down, wrapped her arms around his neck, and raised her legs off the floor. That was all he needed as an answer.

Masachika slipped his arm under her legs, while his other arm supported her back. He took a deep breath and lifted her off the ground, before carrying her towards the bed.

After setting her down carefully, Masachika thought about what he should do next. His sister didn't want to leave but at the same time, he wanted to sleep already.

He took a deep breath, "Look, Yuki…"

A frightened Yuki looked up at him with eyes full of panic and uneasiness. It was strange seeing her in this state, but it's also why he can't just ignore this problem and let her be.

"You can stay here."

"Really…? I-I can stay with you…?"

He nodded and sat down with her, where he hung his head in shame from what he did. The image of Yuki crying while prostrating herself won't be leaving his mind anytime soon after this…

"I'm sorry for threatening to kick you out. I didn't realize… I didn't realize you were still affected by that day…"

Kuze felt like slapping himself for that weak excuse. How dare he try to downplay things after Yuki subjected herself to such humiliation just change his mind?!

"...no, that's wrong. It's not that I didn't realize. It's more that I underestimated your reaction. I never thought it hurt you that deeply. I left without even thinking of how you'd feel afterwards."

He turned his body so that he was facing her, but he couldn't bring it in himself to look at her… not after his earlier actions.

"I've been nothing but a selfish piece of shit. Even to you, Yuki. I don't think I even deserve to call myself your big brother. Big brothers don't leave their family behind, especially their little siblings who look up to them."

Yuki looked like she wanted to say something, but Masachika had a lot more to say than that.

"I failed to be that brother for you, Yuki. You shouldn't have cried because of me, because I've done nothing to deserve your tears," he clenched his fists in frustration. "So what if I helped you when you were sick all the time? It's not like anything I did was special. I wasn't there when you needed me and as much as I want to fix things, it's too late. It won't change the fact that I'm a good-for-nothing brother who left you when you needed me."

As he descended into a full-blown rant, Masachika thought back to the decision he made that day.

"I thought I did the right thing, but I didn't. I was still a child who allowed his emotions to make a decision for him, and someone paid the price for it."

He had allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment and as a result, he ended up leaving the one person whom he still valued from the other side of his family.

If anything, his sister should be angry and fed up with his attitude! She shouldn't be crying over him, because he doesn't deserve her tears…

"...I never forgot about it…"

Her soft voice caught his attention as though she shouted those words in his ear. When he finally turned to look at Yuki, he saw her pointing to the left side of her chest.

"When you left, it really hurt me here, Onii-chan… I thought you were only going away for a while, but Grandfather said that you were never coming back. He said that… you were a disgrace in his eyes… and he never wanted to see you again."

"Oh yeah? Feeling's mutual, you old fossil."

Despite his current state, Masachika was still able to make a snide remark about that man in his mind, purely out of disdain.

"I didn't want to believe him. I refused to believe him. I wanted to see you again, but you were long gone, and I had no way of reaching out to you. It hurt for a while… until we met again."

He stared at her afterwards, bearing a near-emotionless expression on his face before sighing deeply.

"Yuki… why did you keep quiet about it? Why didn't you tell me about this until now? Is there a good reason for why you hid something like this?"

This time, it was Yuki who turned her head away as she gave her answer.

"...when I saw you again during middle school, I knew that you weren't the same person who used to look after me. It's only been a year since it happened, but you were a completely different person from the Onii-chan that I used to spend time with. I knew that bringing up everything that happened before would only bring up bad memories for you, so I didn't say anything."

"No. You're wrong. Why would that affect me in anyway? It was weirder that you started acting like you forgot about everything before I left."

"I didn't want to give you another problem. You were already going through a lot of things, Onii-chan. I didn't want to be a burden to you," she admitted, while hugging her knees close to her chest.

"You were never a burden, Yuki. You were the only person that I wouldn't mind seeing again in that household. That's why I stuck with you ever since. If anything, I was the burden. Because of me, the old man placed a lot of baggage on you. You had to go through a lot of stuff that should have been my burden to bear, not yours."

Things became quiet after that, and just as it seemed like their conversation was seemingly about to end… Yuki's next words brought him back into it.

"You know, it didn't hurt me that you ran away and disappeared."

"...huh?"

"I would have done the same thing if I was in your position, Onii-chan. I would have left too, and maybe I'd be the one who's apologizing to you right now."

"What are you talking about?"

"When I found out from Grandfather why you left, I understood why."

He blinked in surprise. "You did…?"

Yuki only nodded and didn't say anything more, knowing that this was still a sensitive subject for her brother even after all these years.

"But it didn't hurt me that you were gone…"

Her gaze then met his, and Masachika could almost feel the sadness behind those beautiful orbs of hers.

"...it hurt me that you didn't even think of bringing me with you."

A pang of guilt washed through him after hearing those words. It made him think about the consequences brought by his actions again and whether or not he did the right thing.

"Maybe things would have been different if you went to me instead… if you asked me to go with you…"

"No," he shook his head firmly after a moment of self-reflection. "No, even if I thought of asking you to come with me, there's no way. You had asthma and you needed constant medical attention. You wouldn't have gotten that if you went with me. We didn't have any money with us to have you treated. I would never put you in that situation."

"None of it matters to me when the only thing that I've ever wanted…" Yuki shook her head, before flashing him a look of determination. "...was to be with the Onii-chan that I love."

"Yuki, what—"

His eyes snapped wide open when his sister grabbed his hand and placed it on her chest.

"Can you feel it, Onii-chan? My heart only beats like this when I'm with you. Nothing else matters to me, as long as you're here."

Masachika felt his face growing hot from her action and the first thing he thought of doing was moving away from Yuki. However, the expression she had made him think twice about doing it.

"I want to stay here with you!" her earlier words echoed in his mind..

He couldn't understand it. Though they have only been away from each other for a year, his sister had changed a lot within that span of time. He didn't like it, but he'd begrudgingly agree that Yuki can look after herself without his help. And even if she couldn't, she had Ayano by her side as a loyal maid.

He couldn't understand why she was looking to him for approval, why she was treating him like he's some king, and why she was begging him to let her stay.

"Yuki…" he pried his gaze away from chest and focused on her face instead. "What am I to you? Why am I so important to you? What exactly makes me so special in your eyes?"

Masachika expected her to take some time in thinking about her answer but to his surprise, Yuki answered right away.

"I love you. More than anything else in this world. I love you as your sister and as a woman," she answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why? Why me? Why your own brother? Your brother who left you without any second thought? It just doesn't make—"

"I love you, Onii-chan. And I can't bear the thought of being away from you. It doesn't matter if you don't want to return how I feel, as long as I can be with you," she hugged his hand tighter, to the point that he was unintentionally groping her chest.

When Yuki looked up to meet his gaze again, she looked like she was about to burst into tears again at any moment, causing her brother to realize that he was walking on thin ice right now.

"W-Will you let me stay by your side…?"

Masachika frowned, feeling a pit of conflicted feelings form in his stomach.

He should refuse, honestly.

By all rights, he should be telling her to stop this whole stunt and get herself together.

Yuki's bizarre need for his validation was a clear sign that she's not in the right state of mind. At the moment, she's similar to Alya in that she's not thinking straight because of their overall dilemma.

However, he could tell that everything she spoke about was genuine, and he couldn't detect any hint of a lie within her statements.

Every bit of his rational mind was telling him that this was a bad idea and that this will definitely come to bite him back in the future, but honestly? Yuki's well-being was still more important to him, and there's no way he'll abandon her again.

"...yes."

Yuki gasped softly, but she didn't do anything yet. She had to be sure that she wasn't hearing things, because the last thing she wanted was a misunderstanding between her and her brother.

"Really? Y-You won't throw me away, Onii-chan…?"

"Stop saying that, will you? I'd never do that, especially not to you."

And with that, she felt happy.

The anxiety and fear she felt from a possible rejection dissipated when she heard his answer, to the point that she nearly burst into tears again out of joy.

In fact, Yuki was so overjoyed that she couldn't help but throw herself at him… literally .

Masachika was caught off guard by her action and couldn't defend himself against his sister, because it all happened so quick. No less than a second later, he found himself under his sister while she was straddling his hips.

Before he could tell her to get off of him, Yuki leaned down and mashed her lips against his, making his eyes widen in disbelief.

Yuki was kissing him.

His chaotic little sister who was helpless and completely vulnerable just earlier… was kissing him.

Masachika couldn't do anything at first, because he was completely petrified at what his own sister was doing and had no idea what to do.

On the other hand, Yuki knew what she wanted and went for it.

Despite this being her first time, it seemed like Yuki knew exactly what to do in this situation.

She moved her lips slowly against his, then moving away for a mere second before latching on to him again. She continued to do this from here on out, creating a rhythm of sorts and following it religiously.

When she separated from him to catch her breath…

"Yuki, this is—"

…Yuki didn't allow him to say anything else and pressed her lips against his once again.

Masachika remained motionless under her, clueless and lost as to what he should do.

Once again, he could choose to push her away because of how wrong this is, but can he even do that without the risk of making Yuki cry again?

At the same time, he was also struggling to fight off his own growing urges. Outside of being his sister and their banters, he can admit that Yuki was very beautiful, and the entire school population considered her as the only girl who can match Alya's looks and overall appeal…

And because of that, it was getting harder and harder for him to resist the temptation… and he was getting closer to his limit.

It didn't take long for the young man to finally give in, wrapping his arms around her and returning the kiss.

Yuki moaned into his mouth, enjoying this moment for what it was as her excitement grew at a fast rate. She started grinding her body against his, which only served to drive their neurons into a frenzy.

As the seconds passed, their liplock became more intense and turned into a full-blown makeout session. They sucked on each other's mouths like their lives depended on it, and continued to keep their lips together until they needed air.

Both siblings stared at each other, as if they were communicating through their gazes alone. Both were unaware that their minds were on the same wavelength, but it's clear that they only wanted one thing at the moment.

As taboo as it is, they wanted each other.

And nobody was around to stop them.

Nothing else mattered right now, other than their impulses.

They separated temporarily, if only to shed themselves of their remaining clothing. Everything was left in a pile on the floor, before they turned their attention back towards each other.

Masachika had already seen his sister's naked body (despite insisting that he only saw her chest in the past), so he wasn't that affected by her state of undress apart from having a small blush on her face.

The same can't be said for Yuki, who had to pinch her nose to keep herself from having a serious nosebleed because this was the first time she had seen him completely bare.

…especially when her eyes wandered downwards and saw what was waiting for her down there .

"Oh my god, oh my god, he's actually going to do this with me…!"

While she was distracted by the sight of her brother's naked body, Yuki didn't realize that she had been pushed down to the bed, and Masachika was now hovering above her.

"Ah~!" she was brought back to reality when it was Masachika who leaned down and kissed her deeply this time, causing her to further swell up in joy.

"He's kissing me! Onii-chan is kissing me!" she sang in her mind before wrapping her arms around his head and eagerly returning the kiss.

Masachika couldn't keep himself contained anymore. It didn't matter to him at this point that they were brother and sister. There's no other option left but to throw his sense of reason out the window for this.

After pulling apart for air once again, Yuki cupped his cheek and spoke in a needy voice.

"Onii-chan… p-please… I can't take it anymore… I need you…"

Masachika felt a lump in his throat. He was at full mast and prepared to continue, but a sudden spike of hesitation kept him from going further.

"...are you sure?"

"Give it to me… I want all of you, Onii-chan…"

Yuki spread her arms out and smiled, offering herself to her brother which served to be the final nail in the coffin for Masachika's uneasiness.

Shaking off his worries, Masachika grabbed her hips and slowly pushed himself inside of her, eliciting a cry of pain from Yuki and making her grab onto him tightly.

He had just taken his sister's virginity.

The sensation shot a wave of pleasure through their bodies, and for the older one of the siblings, it's a feeling that he wanted more of that he began moving in and out right away.

…and he never pulled out afterwards.
