Chuck vs. The Courtyard Bench

Well, here's what happened in the previous chapter: Bash At The Bench happened but with Chuck as the host. Bentley learned It was a team effort as Sarah hosted this time with two special guests making an appearance. Heather Chandler and Michael Bublé. Michael sand a duet with Sarah for the opening performance while Heather participated in sketch with a number of the medical staff created by the kids. The catch was the adults didn't know the script so they to basically improv through it. They had a blast. The award-winning host then interviewed Cherice and Molly who basically put together by themselves a performance with the rest of the kids at the children's hospital in honor of chuck. Needless to say, Chuck was not only surprisingly shocked, but was emotionally floored as past Rockstar Rebels showed to sing parts of the song. The one Rockstar Rebel that definitely made an emotional impact for Chuck was Joshua Rush. It brought him to tears. So, what happens in this chapter? Here are the who, what, where, when, why, how's? Who did Chuck compare Molly and Cherice to when it came to their mission in making it a memorable Bash At The Bench for him? What signs did Sarah see/notice when Chuck was learning more about his prognosis relating to being able to get back on his feet from Chief Sofer? Where was Bentley trying to lead Hannah during her interview with her? When did Chuck reveal that he was hiding something that he didn't even tell Ellie or Sarah? Why did Hannah tell Chuck that he could end up being like Professor X? How did Hannah help Chuck not mentally spiral as it related to his present condition? Read and find out! I hope you enjoyed the read and leave a comment to share your own thoughts on this particular chapters. As always, reviews are awesome.

Again, if you enjoyed reading my stories and left a comment, I truly appreciate it. Please continue to do so as it gives me the incentive to write more chapters.

I don't own Chuck.

The Present

"Joshua Rush's appearance truly surprised me most of all," stated Chuck. He smiled in disbelief thinking back on that momentous occasion at Bash At The Bench. "It was totally unexpected but in an awesome way." he added, expressing his trademark toothy smile. Afterwards, he directed his attention to Sarah and pointed to his wife. "Did you know?"

Sarah immediately shook her head. "I swear I didn't," She took a moment and reflected on that awesome day 6 months ago. "If I did, I wouldn't have sprinted towards Monique and tackled her with a hug." she shared, recalling that awesome moment.

"It seems Molly and Cherice managed to keep certain former Rockstar Rebels a surprise for Bash At The Bench," Bentley chimed in, expressing a smirk. "Especially getting the reactions they wanted more so from Sarah than from Chuck." she added, nodding at the married couple sitting across from her.

After Bentley said that Sarah clearly noticed the impact of those words hit him significantly. Yet, he managed to mask the mixture of emotions he was experiencing because of not physically being on stage by doing something he was considered awesome at.

"A regular mission impossible," nodded Chuck, sounding impressed. "Their mission that they fully made on their own instead of accepting it, showed they took initiative. Those two girls took on the female versions of Ethan Hunt and Benji Dunn. Keeping it all on the down low even from Alex."

"And that's hard to do," Sarah chimed in. After a brief pause, she resumed speaking. "Who's who?" she inquired. Her extensive Mission Impossible knowledge was provided by Chuck after they mutually agreed to do a Mission Impossible movie marathon.

A confused and somewhat bewildered look was expressed on her nerdy husband's face. It caused Sarah to quickly elaborate. "Ethan Hunt and Benji Dunn. Which one is Molly and Cherice?"

"Does it matter? Both characters and the team don't ever quit until the mission gets done." questioned Chuck, shrugging his shoulders. "I wouldn't have been surprised at all if they suddenly removed their disguises revealing they were actually Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg," he jokingly added.

"I'm glad the past Rockstar Rebels got a chance to visit you," smiled Sarah. "And you have The Chief Operating Officer of the hospital to thank for that."

"I bet the Chief of Surgery didn't like that after she found out about it," Chuck responded, expressing his trademark toothy smile again.

In response, Sarah rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. Afterwards, Chuck and Sarah shared a laugh together. Once the laughter subsided, Bentley spoke up and changed the focus on a different topic.

"I'm glad the two of you are so upbeat and exchanging warm, happy smiles with each other," Bentley momentarily paused and briefly checked the notes on her notecards. It wasn't long before her focus returned to the married couple who were sitting across from her in front of the blue courtyard bench. "The reason I'm saying this is because I want to focus back on what you said much earlier in our interview, Chuck." Her attention was fully divided on the nerdy business owner. "How you referred to yourself as your own worst enemy and how it affected your relationship with Sarah." Bentley turned her attention from Chuck to Sarah. "Sarah, at what point did you see a shift in Chuck's overall demeanor. A shift that had your fiancé walking down an eventual mental and emotional dark path?"

There was a moment of silence as the nerdy couple briefly looked at each other before Sarah responded to Bentley's question.

"There were small signs here and there," Sarah briefly paused and cleared her throat knowing what she was going to share was not only going to be considerably difficult, but incredibly uncomfortable as well. "Nothing to get bent out of shape about. However," She paused and shook her head. It took a moment before the beautiful blonde was able to recall a particular memory in question that stuck with her and shared it with Bentley. "It was 4 weeks after Chuck's attack and Bash At The Bench. The swelling to Chuck's spine was thankfully going down slowly but surely and…"

Westside Medical Center
4th Floor Rehabilitation Room

"Do you feel anything?" Chief Sofer asked.

She was lightly stroking the bottom soles of Chuck's feet with a medium sized medical with a somewhat pointed end. As this was happening, Hannah stood on the other side of the rehab table. Of course, Hannah was going to be solely in charge of Chuck's physical therapy and rehab, which resulted in the exchange of torture jokes between the two of them. Speaking of Chuck, he was lying flat on his back on top of the rehabilitation table with both his feet sticking out from the edge of it. He wasn't alone as Sarah, Ellie, and Chief Beckman were there as well. All 5 individuals were standing just off to the side making sure to not be a distraction during Chief Sofer's test.

The Babinski reflex. It was considered a routine test and was a marker for the health of the corticospinal tract of the nerve channel, which sends information between not only the brain, but the body and limbs as well.

About 2 weeks ago Chief Sofer received some positive results after the surgery she performed on her patient's slightly damaged L5. The good news was that the swelling was going down causing those within the room to breathe a sigh of relief, but the bad news was the answer that Chuck gave to Chief Sofer.

Chuck shook his head. "No," Afterwards, he calmly laid there looking up at the ceiling. He took a deep breath and then spoke up again. "Is that bad because I didn't feel anything last week either?"

As Chuck lay there on the rehab table, he was speaking volumes without actually saying a single word. It was something that people who knew him were very familiar with, especially Ellie and Sarah. Speaking of those two women, they briefly looked at each other and both of them clearly knew what the other was thinking. Both women knew that even though he was quietly laying there on the rehab table, he was spiraling and thinking of the worst possible scenarios in his head. As much as they wanted to go over to him and knock some sense into him, they ended up not doing it. Why? It would seriously look bad, especially in the presence of Chief Sofer. Speaking of the Chief of Surgery, she answered Chuck's question.

"Not necessarily," responded Sofer, shaking her head. "The healing process is different for everybody. Give it time and don't rush yourself." she insisted, firmly nodding over to her patient. After a brief pause, the Chief of Surgery resumed speaking. "As long as you keep your appointments with Hannah," She momentarily turned her attention to the woman who stood off to the experienced surgeon's left. "You'll need to gradually build up your strength through therapy and exercises." Her attention from her seemingly frustrated patient was directed to the Westside Medical Center's primary physical therapist. "I'm sure Ms. Lang here has put together a well-planned out physical regiment that will not only get the feeling back, but get you literally back on your feet."

"Chief Sofer is right," acknowledged Hannah, smiling. "I'm not going to lie to you Chuck. There will be moments where you want to quit and consider me your worst enemy."

"Trust me," a voice uttered. The attention on Hannah was directed to the source and she was standing next to Sarah. "He won't."

"What makes you so sure?" questioned Sofer.

"A Bartowski never quits. If he even tries to, Hannah," firmly stated the oldest Bartowski sibling. "Let me know." she added, pointing to herself. "I'll knock some sense into him."

"And me." Sarah chimed in. Her attention on her fiancé turned to her short, red-headed boss. "Chief?"

"I'm certainly holding him accountable to keep going despite the pain he'll endure. You'll conquer this as you've conquered many obstacles before your, Mr. Bartowski." stated Beckman. "I'll make sure Casey is made aware as well."

At that point, Chuck reaches up and places both his hands on his face. While shaking his head from side to side, a muffled response is given. "Awesome." groaned the nerd.

Chuck's response was considered amusing to those in the room as the sound of soft chuckles were expressed. After the soft chuckles subsided, Hannah slid up to her left and stood by Chuck's head. By that point, the nerd had already uncovered his face and was a bit startled when he noticed her standing there. His reaction caused her to express a soft grin. Afterwards, she crossed her arms and spoke up looking directly at him as he continued laying down on the rehab table.

"I'm going to be pushing you to your limit and you're probably going to hate me for it. You'll see me as your worst enemy depending on how you physically and mentally feel." She took a momentary pause before she continued. "Trust me. I," Hannah stopped and corrected herself. "We all want you to get back on your feet. Remember, it's a marathon not a sprint. Patience is the key, Chuck." she stated, with utmost assurance.

"Patience is the key. So, Ms. Lang," repeated Bentley. She was briefly silent before she resumed speaking with the individual who was seated across from her that was being interviewed. "Did you experience or face any challenges knowing you share such a close friendship with Chuck?" the award-winning documentarian inquired.

"There's always going to be challenges faced working with patients as a physical therapist," responded Hannah, shrugging her shoulders. "Although Chuck is my patient and we're friends, I am able to compartmentalize our friendship and patient-client relationship." she further explained.

"With that being said," Bentley took a moment and adjusted the way she was seated in her chair. Afterwards, she cleared her throat and resumed her interview with Hannah. "You didn't see any sort of conflict knowing the history between the two of you?"

After Bently said that Hannah furrowed her eyebrows. "What history are you referring to, Ms. Bentley?"

"The romantic kind." stated Bentley, locking eyes with Hannah.

At that point, the stare down between both women was absolutely intense. The silence was considered so deafening that it seemed it was going to go forever until Hannah finally responded.

"If you're asking if Sarah has anything to worry about," Hannah didn't break eye contact as she leaned forward. "The answer is no." she answered, shaking her head. The look on Bentley's face read that she was primarily unconvinced. In that instance, Hannah pressed forward. "We met at a time where the both of us were experiencing new beginnings in our lives."

"Where? Here at the hospital?"

"On a plane," Hannah was a bit reluctant and hesitant in sharing the rest of what she was going to say, but she forged on. "To Paris."

"Oh really." retorted Bentley.

Instead of reacting to Bentley's response, she arched her right brow. "Something tells you already knew that."

Bentley simply gave a slight tilt of her head and briefly lifted her eyebrows in response. Afterwards, Hannah kept the focus on being respectful for Sarah's sake concerning her relationship with Chuck. "I'm not going to lie," The experienced physical therapist briefly paused before she started speaking again. "We clicked and had an awesome time in Paris together." she shared, expressing a soft smile. "Unfortunately, it was one of those "right place at the wrong time" situations for the both of us. Ultimately, we were better off as friends, and he even put in a good word for me to Chief Beckman knowing I was looking for a fresh start. I eventually made my home working here becoming part of the Westside family and we've supported each other ever since."

"Interesting," responded Bentley, sounding skeptical. "So, there haven't been any lingering feelings between the both of you?"

"Of course not." answered Hannah, shaking her head.

"Mhmmm," Bentley softly breathed out.

Hannah noted that skepticism in Bentley's hmmm and proceeded to give the award-winning documentarian a sound and well-mannered retort.

"I was one of the people who rooted for and encouraged Chuck to take a chance with Sarah." she proudly shared. "Everybody at the hospital clearly saw how he lit up whenever the two of them were together. From the moment they met right here," Hannah pointed to the blue courtyard bench where the interview was happening in front of. "Their chemistry was undeniable." Hannah pointed out.

"I'm sure it was."

The way Bentley responded irked Hannah. Fortunately, she was able to have a masterful poker face that masked how annoyed and irritated she was after her interview's last comment. In any case, as she was sitting there across from her previously mentioned interviewer, she had two choices to make. Her first choice was going to try to convince a widely popular television personality, host, and documentarian that her relationship with Chuck was purely platonic. In her mind, she knows that people who continually deny there's still something between them often makes the situation not only incredibly frustrating but ends up putting more suspicion on the two individuals in question.

As for Hannah's second choice, it involved being absolutely mature and professional knowing that her interview will eventually be aired for the viewing audience who are deemed the litmus test when it comes to being judged. Plus, the words being conveyed need to be clear and concise to the point where it's hopefully not taken out of context or worded in a way that benefited someone's twisted/drama filled agenda, she thought to herself. After what seemed like a long and awkward silence, the well-trained physical therapist cleared her throat and made her choice.

The choice Hannah made was to be mature and professional. She refocused the attention on the original topic at hand. "You spoke of challenges earlier, correct?"

Bentley nodded while expressing a slight grin towards the woman she was interviewing. "Correct."

A nod was given by Hannah after Bentley acknowledged her question. "There were moments during his physical therapy that were considerably challenging," shared Hannah. She sat there in her interview chair for a moment and took a moment to reflect. A few seconds later, she spoke up. "However, one particular moment that stands out that I recall happened 3 weeks after I assured him patience is the key."

"Did you feel like he was listening to you?"

"At the time," Hannah paused and briefly thought about Bentley's question. "Yes." she nodded.

"I see," responded Bentley. "What did you want or intended to have done when he was in physical therapy?" she inquired.

"What I wanted for his physical therapy was to start off light and he did. I would gradually integrate him into a much more physically intense workout regimen."

"I take it," responded Bentley, slowly leaning forward. "It didn't turn out that way."

In response, Hannah shook her head recalling that particular moment in time. "I could still sense that he was impatient, and I actually felt it in the tension that was built up since his last session of physical therapy." she shared, shaking her head. "Plus, I had a feeling that Chuck was holding something back both literally and figuratively.

"Just breathe out, Chuck." instructed Hannah.

Chuck gritted his teeth as he was in considerable pain. His right leg was resting on Hannah's right shoulder. Speaking of the experienced physical therapist, she made sure to keep the nerd's leg straight as she pressed down with both hands on his upper thigh. While doing that, she gradually pushed forward, moving more and more towards Chuck's head. Her intention with the exercise itself was to strengthen his hamstrings to avoid muscular atrophy. When they first started, Hannah began with simple exercises that focused on Chuck's ankles and calves. Afterwards, the focus moved towards his left and right hip. During today's session, she was focusing on his right leg for now and would inevitably switch to his left leg. In any case, Hannah continued pushing Chuck's right leg seemingly towards his right ear when the nerdy business owner spoke up after yelping in pain.

"No mas!" he breathed out. "No mas!" he repeated. Afterwards he quickly lifted both hands and gave the time out sign.

Instead of letting up, Hannah gave it one last push to the point where she saw Chuck's eyes widen. Speaking of Chuck, he couldn't help but feel like Alan Rickman's character, Hans Gruber, from the movie Die Hard. A character who epically fell to his death from Nakatomi Plaza. Of course, that situation was totally different since Chuck was primarily laying down on a rehab table whereas Rickman was dangling over a crash pad and hooked up to safety cables. The nerd recalled from an interview Rickman did that in order to get his genuine reaction of surprised fear, they dropped him early. The look in his eyes was considered the chef's kiss for awesome movie scenes, Chuck thought to himself.

In any case, Chuck felt his eyes were going to pop out of its sockets as Hannah slowly kept pushing forward until she suddenly finally stopped. At that point, his right leg was now a foot away from his head and it seemed like forever that Hannah was holding his leg in that particular position. Thankfully, he heard his physical therapist counting down from 5 and for Chuck that was the longest 5 seconds of life. The expression of uncomfortable pain on his face turned to sweet relief after Hannah finally released the hold she had on the aforementioned right leg and moved back. It wasn't long before Chuck was able to breathe easier with both legs laying flat down below him. After taking a moment to himself, he heard the voice of his cruel and twisted tormentor.

"Now that wasn't so bad was it?"

Chuck mustered all the strength that he had and lifted his head. It took a moment to locate Hannah and when he finally did she was standing at the foot of the rehab table he was laying down on. She was also holding a bottle of water in her right hand. Afterwards, she made her way around step to her right and took a couple steps before stopping. Before she handed him the bottle of water, she extended her left arm to help him get into a seated position. At first, Chuck just stared at Hannah until he ended up groaning and rolling his eyes up at her before he reached out with his left hand. After taking her left hand, it wasn't long before the nerd sat up with Hannah's help and took the bottle of water that was handed to him by his so-called torturer. The elixir of liquid life was certainly refreshing as he nearly drank the whole bottle. He stopped with about an inch or two of water left remaining in the bottle itself.

As Chuck sat there with his head lowered, he was truly thankful to be free from the physical torment that was inflicted by Hannah. A few seconds later, he lifted his head and faced his tormentor, inevitably responding to what she said.

"What the hell was that!?" he breathed out, with absolute relief in his voice. "I'm not a Stretch Armstrong doll you know." he stated, shaking his head.

"Stop whining you big, nerdy baby," Hannah shook her head with a mixture of amused disappointment. "Bryce didn't complain that much when he went through his physical therapy." she noted, concerning her time with the Olympic track star. "Besides, that was just a light workout."

"Light," Chuck chortled, shaking his head. "If that's considered light, I'd hate to find out what you planned that's far more devious and painful twisted. Should I call you Tobin Bell otherwise known as Jigsaw from now on since you're looking to potentially replace him in the Saw movie franchise?"

After Chuck said that Hannah responded by simply staring at him. A few seconds later, she popped him in the left shoulder causing the nerd to yelp in pain.

"What was that for?" he painfully asked. Chuck reached up with his right hand and rubbed his left shoulder.

Hannah was momentarily silent as she stood in front of a seated Chuck. While standing there, she could tell he wasn't the Chuck Barotwski that people loved and enjoyed being around. There was something noticeably missing with this version of Chuck Bartowski who was sitting in front of her. Speaking of Chuck, he was suddenly made aware of the seriousness expressed on Hannah's face, inevitably setting aside the playful, joking demeanor that he previously encountered.

"What?" he wondered.

"Is everything okay?" she inquired, with genuine concern expressed in her voice.

"I'm fine," answered Chuck. "Just tired from today's physical therapy." he added, shrugging his shoulders.

"Don't lie to me, Chuck," snapped Hannah. "We've been friends for a long time, and I know when you're lying.

Present

"I was lying," Chuck uttered, shaking his head. He glanced over to the person sitting next to him. It was Sarah. "I really didn't want to admit something that could very well come true," he further shared. "Especially to Sarah."

"What's going on, Chuck?" questioned Hannah. She stood there with her arms crossed with a concerned look expressed on her face. "Why are you so adamant on wanting to rush the process? You put your trust in me after agreeing to treat the physical therapy as a marathon rather than a sprint." she added, furrowing her eyebrows quizzically. "Are you quitting? Do you want to quit?"

"No!" Chuck quickly stammered out. His sudden response clearly caught Hannah off guard, evident by the way she was startled. "I," He stopped and just started shaking his head. "I don't know."

"Then what is it?" wondered Hannah. She clearly sensed the mental and emotional struggle going on inside him. At that point, the traveling physical therapist motioned for Chuck to scoot over a bit. He did and provided enough space for Hannah to sit down on the side of the rehab table. "I can tell you're not in the right headspace. What's wrong?"

Chuck was silent as he momentarily stared at his nearly empty water bottle that he was holding hands-on top of his lap. A few seconds later, he broke his focus away from his water bottle and faced Hannah.

"What if I'm never able to walk again?" he softly asked.

Hannah let that question sink in for a moment. She had the option of responding in two ways. One way was to be straight forward and be completely honest with him. That's what friends are for. To be real, Not bullshit around to the point where any sort of false hope was given, she thought to herself. On the other hand, she could just lie to Chuck and tell him everything would work out in the end as long as he listened to Chief Sofer and her. Plus, continue putting in the effort and hard work to get back on his feet. Hannah decided to go with a third option.

"Well," Hannah paused and gave Chuck her full attention. "If that happens you could now accurately cosplay as Professor X." A small gin was expressed attempting to be humorous in a serious conversation between the both of them.

The response that Hannah gave was considered something totally unexpected coming for her. True, he knew Hannah long enough to know she didn't say it in spite or to hurt him in any way, shape or form. Far from it, he thought to himself. In his mind, she said it with the intention of getting him to not only laugh but focus on the positive rather than the negative aspects of his current situation. It's because he knew Hannah so well that he responded positively instead negatively to her.

"I don't know if I look good with my head completely shaved though," Chuck reached up with his right hand and briefly rang his fingers through his hair. "Plus, I'd actually miss the weird animal shapes that it apparently does according to Molly." he added, pointing to the top of his head with his right index finger.

Both individuals shared a much-needed laugh after the nerd said that. After the laughter subsided between the two of them, there was a moment of silence. That silence was subsequently broken by Hannah.

"Are you afraid that you may never walk again?"

Chuck didn't say a word. Instead, he nodded. That led Hannah to ask a question that was considered very important as it pertained to his situation.

"Have you told or talked to Sarah about this? Ellie? How about Morgan?" she wondered, genuinely concerned.

Chuck shook his head.

"Why?"

"I don't want them to worry about me. It's bad enough that I've ended up being a burden on not only you, but for everyone else after being attacked by a crazy fan." he admitted, revealing his concerns. "I've also felt like I've actually become a burden on the Bartowski Brigade." He briefly paused before he proceeded on. "More importantly, I don't want to end up burdening Sarah with physical disability," he sadly confessed.

It took a moment for Hannah to take in all what Chuck shared with her. After sitting there silently, the well-trained physical therapist responded.

"My job as a physical therapist is not just to help patients literally get back on their feet." At that point, Hannah stood up and took a step forward. She proceeded to slowly walk around the rehab table that Chuck was sitting at. It clearly got the attention of Chuck as his focus was fully on her. As she continued to make her way around the rehab table, Hannah continued speaking. "In a way, I help people get back on their feet mentally. I listen to and talk to them not just on a professional level, but a personal level as well. Do you know what every patient that I've helped all shared in common?" Hannah stopped and stood at the foot of the rehab table and looked directly at Chuck who was waiting for the answer. "They're afraid."

"They are?" Chuck softly breathed out.

Hannah nodded. Afterwards, she made her way around and sat down in the same spot that she had previously got up from. Before she did, Hannah made sure to not break eye contact with Chuck. By doing that, it kept him fully engaged with her as she continued speaking.

"Each one of my patients was afraid that they weren't going to able to be 100% the same person as they were before. In other words, being able to 'fit in'," she shared, air quoting those two words. "Right back into their normal lives. A major adjustment to get used to and wrap their head around." Hannah broke eye contact for a second and looked down. Before she turned her focus back on Chuck, she took a deep breath. Afterwards, she spoke up. "The possibility of a big change that is considered absolutely life altering. Some wanted to quit. Others did quit," She paused and seemed to get a bit emotional, which was evident by the way her lips noticeably tightened up. Yet, despite that she was able to forge on. "Permanently."

After Chuck heard the word permanently, his eyes widened. The reality of the situation certainly made an impact on him in that very moment as Hannah pressed on.

"I can't go further into in detail as to what my patients are most afraid of because of doctor-patient confidentiality."

"I'm not asking you to, Hannah." he retorted, shaking his head.

"Awesome," Hannah softly smiled in response. Before turning away and standing up, she gave one more piece of advice to the nerd. "All I can say to you is this. It's okay to lose sometimes. That's life. However, you mustn't lose to fear. The regret of losing to fear will haunt you for your entire life if you let it."

Afterwards, Hannah got up and walked away leaving her seemingly prophetic words mentally marinating with Chuck. As he sat there mentally marinating, something suddenly dawned on him.

"Hey!" he hollered out. "You sort of quoted Mr. Miyagi. The pivotal tournament scene with Daniel from Karate Kid Part 3!" Chuck added, expressing a small grin in response.

The Present

"First off," stated Sarah. "Why didn't you tell me that you were afraid? Secondly, you would never be a burden on me. You should know that by now." At that point, Sarah held up her left hand showing her wedding ring. "In sickness and in health remember. Even if it means you end up in a wheelchair."

"I do," Chuck confidently nodded. He reached over and took Sarah's hand that showed her wedding ring. The nerd took that moment in the courtyard and in front of Bentley to kiss the top of her hand. Afterwards, he continued speaking. "And as for the reason I didn't tell you I was afraid was because I didn't want to let you down. I promised everybody including you that I wouldn't quit."

"And you didn't. I'm so very proud of you for that." softly smiled Sarah.

"I did though," responded Chuck. The sound of disappointment in his voice. "On you. Why I considered myself my own worst enemy. It was a moment that I absolutely regretted."

After Chuck said that Bentley instantly chimed in. "What happened, Chuck?" The award-winning documentarian leaned forward. "What was the moment that you absolutely regretted that involved your wife, Sarah." she added, recalling what he said earlier in the interview. Bentley briefly glanced over at the beautiful blonde seated next to him before returning her attention back to Chuck.
