Chapter 36

Spanakopita!

Greek Island

Right now Naruto(leaving Mimir with Triana), Hatred, Rusty, Billy and White were now at an Greek Island celebrating "Spanakopita," seeing how Rusty had managed to talk them into going to the island for a vacation somehow, so figuring he hadn't visited Greece, he might as well see one of it's little islands instead, once they landed and everyone greets Rusty by yelling "Spanakopita!" to him, Naruto figured he'll have a little look around, where the manager had got in touch with Naruto, explaining a few things about the whole "Spanakopita" thing, which Naruto figured since the people on the island weren't causing too much trouble for them, he'll let the whole thing go.

All the while it turns out Billy's rival and arch-nemesis hed ended up on the island as well, using an old movie prop from, Clash Of The Titans, which Naruto simply brushed off, since the pudgy rich guy was more annoying than anything else, so he left it alone.

It wasn't long before he heard Hatred's yell, only for Rusty to be carried downstairs tied to a chair in joy, making Naruto look towards the manager, which the man had simply nodded, making Naruto know that the whole thing was just the usual "tradition" of the messed up theme for Rusty.

After that night had come around, where Rusty was enjoying himself, while making Billy and White uncomfortable at the sight, since they weren't use to seeing Rusty having a good time and happy, though he then issued a challenge to St. Cloud, which Naruto didn't really pay too much attention to.

Next Day

It wasn't long before Rusty and the others were having a goat race, though Naruto simply sat such a thing out, since he didn't really care about any of it, so he just relaxed and chatted with the manager about a few things, happy that he didn't have to worry about anyone targeting Rusty, well, except for St. Cloud, but that's a different type of targeting, so he wasn't too bothered by that.

Though the manager did say something about a Greek Legend on the island, not the type that the islanders had made up, but a real island legend that Naruto had found interesting, but decides he'll look into it later.

Anyway, it turns out had pretty much cheated during the goat race, making Rusty complain about the whole thing, while questioning Naruto why he didn't join in, though when Naruto had explained, mostly making up that due to being Billy and White's arch-nemesis, he couldn't get involved in it, same could be said for the bet as well, seeing as Rusty and made the deal, so he couldn't get involved in it.

Next Day

It was another race of Rusty, and Billy diving for sea sponges, though Rusty had made things a little awkward by diving in completely nude.

"Well, I'm glad I'm here with you Hatred, cos it sounds like Rusty had made the others uncomfortable." Naruto simply stated while standing next to the man after Hatred had bowed out of the competition, with Naruto, again, not caring in the slightest about the whole thing, but decided to relax before he goes investigating the legend.

With Hatred nodding in agreement, though starts calling Brock for some advice about the whole thing, with Naruto giving his own greeting to his dad, where Brock had simply told the man to let the whole thing go, only for women to approach with children that resemble Brock, asking for him, making Naruto's eye twitch, "Dad~ I swear-!" "UR WHAT'S THAT!? RIGHT AWAY GENERAL! I GOTTA GO!" Only for Brock to end the communication in order to escape the women, as well as Naruto's anger.

Making Naruto simmer with rage at just finding out that he may have a couple of half-brothers on the island, "I swear, I'll get him for this, Hatred, remind me to put my dad down for a vasectomy, I don't want anymore "family members" popping up anymore, god, who knows HOW many brothers I have around the world." Naruto states towards Hatred, though the whole "vasectomy" thing had made the man with tits clench at the thought.

Naruto on the other hand was trying to think of something, while the women questioned them about Brock, only for Naruto to have an idea, "Ladies, please if you wish to meet da-Brock, then here (writes something on some paper), give this number a call and Brock's friend, Shoreleave, will help you meet him somewhere, just tell him that Naruto gave you his number and why you want Brock, he will set the whole thing up for you ALL to meet." Naruto finishes with a friendly smile, making the women happy and leave the two alone.

Though Hatred couldn't help but wonder about such a thing, "Wow, I know your dad "played the field" but did ya have to pull such a thing on him." He couldn't help but ask.

Naruto's friendly smile soon turned into a sourful grimace that would've made his ancestor proud at the look, though what really made Hatred scared were Naruto's eyes were rapidly changing from blue to red, showing signs of how upset at his father for fooling around and not using protection, Naruto just so happened to be lucky enough for his mother to raise him, "Oh trust me, I KNOW just what I'm doing about my deadbeat dad!" Naruto simply states, "(Sigh!) I'm gonna go for a walkabout, try to cool my head down so I don't blow up at anyone." Naruto finishes, trying to keep his cool.

Hatred simply nods his head in agreement, figuring the lad need to go calm down or something after what he'd just learnt.

With Naruto

As Naruto was walking, his head playing with thoughts of his half-brothers, but knew better since he was kinda the same way, only unlike his father, Naruto knew better to use updated protection during any "fun" times, which is why he's a little upset that his father had these children, which is why Naruto was now focusing more on this so called legend that the people of the island seem to have.

Though as he travels, he soon noticed a cave close by, "Wait, didn't the old man say something about this cave." With that in mind, Naruto made his way into the opening, though the place soon opened up to a much larger area, making Naruto look around in awe at the sight before him, though behind him stood a green spectral figure, smiling at the sight of Naruto.

Naruto quickly turns around, only to see no-one was there, making him slightly puzzled at the cave entrance, shrugging his shoulders, Naruto continued his journey, venturing deeper into the cave, though he soon came across some ruins, with a large chasm with lava running at the bottom of it, though he then came across some statues of people, making him puzzled at the sight for these statues being in such a place.

He carried on with his voyage, wondering why people seem to be so scared of the place to begin with, though granted a person could trip and fall to the chasm and lava pools below and the whole thing was obviously dangerous, but still.

Though his ears suddenly picked up movement, as though something was sliding along the floor, or in this case, slithering on it, taking his axe from his back, Naruto gets ready for an attack, only to be shocked at the sight of a beautifully faced woman with a lower-half of a snake aiming her arrow at him, she was quite large due to the size of her snake tail, practically towering over him.

His mind suddenly remembers the myth and legends of this woman, so he quickly closed his eyes and yells out, "MEDUSA WHICH OF THE LEGENDS IS TRUE!?" Catching the woman off guard, since no-one has ever asked her that, since everyone has only assumed that she was a monster, yet here before her, was a man asking her a question about her legend, since due to Athena's Curse, Medusa was practically immortal, at least while she's inside this cave of hers, meaning she had to spend her immortal life trapped in this cave until someone kills her, but obviously not being a fan of getting killed she has defended herself against others.

Though in this day and age, people had visited her cave, with it being a tourist trap now, though thanks to a few people she kept alive until she was down with them, they had taught her what has happened in the mortal world, where after that, the villagers had issued warnings to tourists not to visit her cave, of course you get one or two idiots visiting, who happened to drop their phones, where after getting more detail on how to use the phones, along with how to access them, she threw the phones away, seeing as the signal couldn't get through her cave, so there was really no point in trying to go through such a thing.

But after a while people began to forget and not visit the place anymore, yet here was a young man willing to hear what she has to say instead of him screaming about a snake monster, he was actually willing to listen to her and her side of the story, instead of her threatening him or anything.

"If you know why I am, then I am sure you've heard how I seduced Poseidon into sleeping with me in Athena's temple, but that is the wrong legend." She began talking in a hissing way, having moved closer to the man, though still keeping her guard up, just in case, "That bastard took an interest in me, but I didn't want anything to do with him, he didn't like that, so in order to find a safe haven, I went to Athena's temple becoming a priestess of Athena." She states, seeing the young man still not moving, though his head was following the origin of her voice so she knows that he knew where she was.

"But that horrid bastard still followed me, then raped me on Athena's altar, I begged and prayed for Athena to save me, but she never did, instead she cursed me with his horrid form, along with turning people into stone, then when I hid myself here, away from everyone's eyes, Zeus then cursed me to remain immortal in this place, as nothing more than a prisoner for all eternity." She states, her anger coming through once more screeching and using her tail to smash some rocks nearby, with Naruto hearing the sounds, he followed them with his head, making sure they weren't near him.

"That doesn't sound right, (HISSSSS!) I meant the whole Zeus thing, everything else was just... Well I have no words, you shouldn't have to suffer like this, I mean, it's that bastard, Poseidon's fault, not yours, if anything, it sounds like HE told the gods and mortals that you seduced him and did the deed in Athena's temple, if anything, I don't blame you for that." Naruto states aloud for Medusa to hear him.

Hearing this young man say such a thing had touched Medusa's heart, everyone she ever met only saw her as a monster and other things, yet this young man truly believed her innocences, though she was soon knocked out of her thoughts as Naruto continued with his line of thought, with her moving towards him more, only this time her bow and arrow was put away, with Naruto hearing the tight string of her bow slacking and the ruffling of her quiver, meaning she's put her weapons away, so Naruto did the same thing by putting his axe away.

Naruto continued with his theory, "No, Zeus wouldn't just imprison you here just because of your form, no, there's something else here besides a "prison" for you." Naruto rubbed his chin in thought, with his eyes still remaining close, "Have you ever ventured anywhere else down here, surely there's an area in this place that you've tried to explore, yet something has always kept you away, like how you can see something in your peripheral vision (moves his hand to the side of his face), but when you look it's not there anymore." Naruto soon asks Medusa, figuring she knew that something was here that she couldn't really get to.

Thinking about it, she has spent many a year moving about in this ruined cavern, but this is a first that she has ever thought of, after all, why did Zeus imprison her here for so long, while she knows that her form was torturous enough for her since no one has truly seen her, but that couldn't just be it, there has to be more.

Naruto then came up with an idea, "Medusa, could you please come near me, then when I ask, please close your eyes, that way I can have a look around to see if there is anything "out of place" here." He requested of her.

Hearing this she does as he'd ask, moving so her snake would be behind them, while standing next to Naruto, placing her hand on his shoulder, "I am ready when you are, I am giving you my trust, please do not waste it." She states, believing in the one man who actually listened to her, along with his logic concerning this place.

"Thank you for your trust, have you closed your eyes (yes), then I will have a look around the area where we stand." Naruto stated, he had a good look around, all the while Medusa was waiting patiently, wanting to know the reason behind her imprisonment, while this handsome young man was helping her discover the answer to her plight.

Naruto soon noticed a door leading somewhere, though it was of mortal size, it was understandable why Medusa may have missed it, since a pillar was blocking it, so with that Naruto pointed to the door, making sure he doesn't move, then closed his eyes, "There, there's a door just over there, but it is blocked by a pillar, tell me can you see where I'm pointing towards." He asked, making sure that his eyes are shut while his stance was true.

Opening her own eyes, looking towards where he was pointing, "Hmm, no, all I see is the chasm edge with a stream of lava falling from above it, like a waterfall, but with lava instead." She replied what she can see.

Hearing this Naruto came up with an idea why that is, "Hmm, it must be to stop any temptation of you wanting to open the door, a little like how Pandora was tempted to open the box that had all the seven mortal sins inside it, quite clever really when you think about it, more than likely something that Athena had come up with, while Zeus agrees to it." Naruto states, getting an agreement from Medusa, since while she loathes the gods and their ideals towards humanity, it was understandably clever.

"Listen Medusa, it might be best that you stay here for now, let me have a look inside it and see what Zeus had hidden away, besides, this way you won't have to worry about "walking through lava" while I do it." Naruto states, though Medusa was nervous and worried, she agreed to let him do so.

As Naruto walks to the spot, Medusa was about to speak out against him going to his possible death, "I'm Naruto, by the way, Naruto Samson." Naruto had interrupted, introducing himself with his back to her so she wouldn't turn him to stone.

He soon made it to the pillar, Medusa practically scared at seeing someone literally walk through the lava without getting burnt, as for Naruto, he simply shifted the pillar, knocking it down to the lava flow below, where he then touches the door, causing it to shimmer slightly, "I can see the door now!" She states to Naruto, making him nod in understanding.

With that, he opened the door, only for his eyes to widen in shock, "Well, I guess I was only half wrong after all, this place was holding something, only in this case it was someone." Naruto states outloud, with that Medusa arrives to see what Naruto was talking about, but even she was shocked by such a thing.

For there, chained to a couple of columns was a woman, but not just any woman, this woman was a Fury, one of the main sisters at that, who was called, Tisiphone, known for her illusions being so real that they were practically physical, Medusa had actually heard of this Fury, she had heard that Tisiphone was killed by the Ghost of Sparta, yet, how was she here before them.

Turns out just because Naruto's ancestor had snapped her neck, doesn't mean she was killed, she was still very much alive at that time, only paralyzed from the neck down, even being unable to talk to anyone, but as luck would have it, Zeus had found her, along as healed her to full health, but when he had heard how she was defeated and left for dead, that's when he issued a punishment for her failure.

He had locked her up in the cave where Medusa resides in, using the cursed woman as a guard dog on the fury, but not only that, Zeus made it where her own powers would be used to hide her from the snake-woman, since mortals were either too scared of her or killed by her, but since Zeus did not take too kindly towards failure, he made it where her own powers would allow her to feel the same type of suffering that she and her sisters had inflicted on others who have broke their oath to the gods, seeing how the sisters themselves have broken their own oaths to issue punishments on oathbreakers to begin with.

So, until now, she has spent her entire time locked up, feeling everything, all the pain, anguish, humiliation and embarrassment that she and her sisters had given out to others, what she felt was worse because it made out that she was the betrayer to the gods, she begged, pleaded and prayed for her torture to end, but there was no stopping her punishment, even her injuries felt real, but those too were just illusions, but the pain remained there.

Naruto and Medusa could see the illusions from the outside looking in, while Medusa knew who this fury was, making sure to tell Naruto who Tisiphone was as well before he tries to help her, Medusa simply tells Naruto that she doesn't care for the fury, since it was about time that they got their own punishment for always siding with the gods and never punishing them for the horrors that they'd done to humanity.

But Naruto had calmed the woman down, stating that they'd leave her, then they would be no better than the gods that had made this punishment for both of the women, while Medusa wishes to deny such a thing, Naruto's words had rung true, so reluctantly, both had helped free the fury of her punishment, letting her out of her punishment and completely freeing her.

Though due to her weakened state, Naruto had to be her legs for the time being, while being mindful of Medusa's eyes as well, but thankfully, Medusa had guided the two to a different part of the cavern, where both would be allowed to rest after such an ordeal.

Naruto had then explained things to the two women with him, how the world has changed, along with the gods no longer being in control or are dead from what he has gathered, well, most of the Greek gods were, which shocked the women, they were basically free from their bindings towards the gods, with the world changing to such a degree as well.

The trio soon made their way to the exit, though Medusa was nervous about leaving the cave, but Naruto simply states, "Your reason for staying was to act as a guard dog, since we've removed your "duty" for staying, you are no longer bound to this cave, you are free to leave it." He explains, being careful to keep his eyes closed, while carrying Tisiphone in his arms, making the now humility filled woman a bit embarrassed to be in the arms of a strong person, without having to worry about said strong man snapping her neck.

With that, both Medusa and Tisiphone were amazed to see the outside world once more, both having not seen the sight since their imprisonment, with that Naruto took them to a different spot, where he then placed Tisiphone down on a stone outcrop to sit on, with Medusa next to her, since Tisiphone was basically a Fury goddess, she wasn't affected by the cursed eyes of the gorgon, so the two began talking, while Naruto went to the cave entrance, took his axe and began hammering away at the place, practically causing a cave-in so that no one will be able to enter such a place, once he was finished, he simply stated, "Sometimes, it's best to let the past stay buried, otherwise some idiot may get hurt." Which the two could understand his reasoning.

So Naruto soon sat next to the two women he'd just rescued from their imprisonment, having no idea what to do now, though it would seem the two women had other ideas, seeing how late it was, the pair looked to each other, where Tisiphone used a little of her magic to cover Medusa's eyes in order to protect Naruto from them.

Where both then jumped Naruto, making him yelp in surprise, which caused the two to giggle at his response.

Next Day

It was quite the interesting sight for Naruto to wake up to, first there was Tisiphone, without the hood or outfit on, she was quite beautiful, what with her black hair and fair skin on display.

Though when it came to Medusa, Naruto can honestly say, this was actually a first for him, I mean, to sleep with a woman who has the lower half of a snake, along with snakes for hair, was quite the experience for him, though while she did use her tail to squeeze him in her excitement, he was thankful for his super strength and healing factor, otherwise she would have practically crushed him.

While thinking through all of that, Naruto noticed a glowing green figure looking at them from a distance, not knowing who they were or where they came from, only for the light of the sunrise to cause him to blink and look away, where as he looked back, the figure was gone.

Yet, figuring that his half asleep eyes was playing tricks on him, Naruto moves to awaken the women, first was Tisiphone, who while groggy from being imprisoned for so long, and from their activity the other night, she was easier to wake up.

Though Medusa on the other hand, "Hmm~ Naruto what's wrong?" As she wakes up, she suddenly noticed something rather strange about herself, causing the other two to look at the woman in shock.

Medusa was no longer a half woman half snake, it would seem that her curse was broken, luckily her immortality was removed, but she gets to live like a normal person now, she gets to live life as a regular woman.

As she moves to stand, she unfortunately collapsed under her own feet, whether it was because of how long it was since she used to have feet, or because of what she did with Naruto was anyone's guess, though maybe it was a mixture of both, though luckily Naruto had managed to catch her before she could hurt herself, "Hmm, if you want Medusa, you could come with me, I know someone who could help us figure out what happened for you to revert back to your human form." Naruto offered, seeing as she had nowhere to go right now, seeing as she was practically a "girl out of time," along with having no idea what changes had happened or how much the world has changed.

She couldn't agree fast enough, "What about you Tisiphone, you're more than welcome to join us if you want." Naruto offered, seeing as the fury also has no other place to go.

Tisiphone simply smiled after getting dressed, happy to have met someone willing to help her, even after everything she has done during her time in the world, "While that is a tempting offer, I think I'll travel around, see the sights and sounds, as well as learn what has happened in the world on my journey, after all, with my illusions, I can be anyone, or anything." With a quick flash of light, she transformed into a bird, where she flies around both Naruto and Medusa for a little bit, then flies up into the air.

"Alright, just don't try and punish someone for murder now, since the henchmen mostly die in this era!" Naruto yells out to her, getting a twitter from the disguised fury as she leaves the area for her own adventure, "If you need me of anything, I'll more than likely be at the Venture Compound, be sure to look the place up once you're ready to visit!" Naruto finishes off, being happy at someone from the Greek Pantheon was no longer an idiotic narcissist anymore, guessing all those years being locked up had given the fury some humility.

With that, Naruto soon realised that Medusa was still holding on to him, only he now realised that she was naked below the waist, though he wasn't really bothered about seeing her in such a state, he figured she wouldn't want him to stare at her lower human half now, so, carefully placing her down, Naruto took his shirt and fashioned it into a makeshift skirt for her.

As for Medusa, she was somewhat embarrassed and thankful for Naruto being thoughtful towards her, unfortunately her legs were still weak, so Naruto had to carry her back to the others.

Only just hearing the end of the conversation where the manager had sold the island to , making Naruto somewhat thankful that he'd rescued both women before they guy could do anything to the island, though no one really understood what the man was saying, not even Medusa, though the others wondered who the girl was, Naruto simply stated, "Oh she was caught in an accident some distance away, so I rescued her before she truly got hurt or worse." Which wasn't a total lie, but still, best to keep certain things a secret.

With her introducing herself as Medusa, the others joked a little about her having snakes for hair, but Naruto came to her defence simply stating that she was probably named after Medusa before the curse, since in legend the woman was said to be so beautiful that even the gods fancied her, before Poseidon raped her that is.

Though Billy stated how that wasn't apart of Clash Of The Titans, where Naruto just stares at the guy, "Billy, you shouldn't trust all movie backgrounds, especially if the movie involves the Greek Myths, since no-one truly knows what happened back then." Naruto finishes, while smirking towards Medusa, who was now sleeping in his arms.

After that Rusty simply states how there was always next year for him to win back the title, but all four only had one thing to say to that, """"No fucking way!"""" With Medusa more than likely agreeing, considering it was an island that was imprisoned on for so long, so she'd more than likely deny wanting to visit the place in such a crass way.

The End.

There you go, Naruto rescues Medusa and Tisiphone from their imprisonment, even had some "fun" with them, considering how long it's been for either of the women, it would be understandable that Naruto would "entice" them to sleep with him just by being himself.

Also who knows what will happen now that Medusa is gonna be apart of Naruto's life, we'll just have to wait and see. lol
