Disclaimer – It has come to my attention recently that I unfortunately do not own Harry Potter or Star Wars or their respective universes. Who knew.

To everyone who has been awaiting this day as eagerly as I have ... Happy National Heavenly Hash Day! Is there a more exciting treat? I am unsure but willing to sample them all! And to everyone who is dealing with the snow (people in the Northwest, around the Great Lakes, Canadians, and I guess ... alot of people in Florida, New Orleans, and Louisiana) I hope the groundhog sees its shadow (or doesn't see it's shadow - whichever one means the end of winter). But whatever the case, I hope everyone is doing alright!

As the Falcon entered the system and approached Coruscant, the tension in the air grew palpable. The planet loomed large in the viewport, its surface a glittering sea of lights. Countless ships moved in and out of the atmosphere, creating a chaotic ballet of activity.

In the cockpit, Han sat with a focused expression, his hands steady on the controls. "Alright, everyone," he said, his voice unusually serious. "We're heading into restricted space. Stay quiet and let me handle this."

Chewbacca growled softly, his paws moving across the console.

Leia stood behind them, her gaze fixed on the planet below. "You have the clearance codes I received from one of my contacts on the planet. They should get us through the perimeter."

Han glanced at her skeptically. "Should?"

Leia didn't reply, her confidence unshaken.

The Falcon glided closer, slipping into one of the many lanes of ships heading toward the planet. A stern voice crackled over the comm.

"Unidentified freighter, state your business."

Han leaned forward, his tone calm but casual. "This is the Millennium Falcon, delivering cargo from Corellia. Clearance code 247-Alpha."

A long pause followed, the silence stretching uncomfortably. Then, finally:

"Clearance granted. Proceed to designated lane."

Han exhaled, a smug grin spreading across his face. "Well that was easier than I thought."

Leia rolled her eyes but said nothing, her attention returning to the viewport.

As the Falcon descended toward the surface, Leia turned to Harry and Luke, her expression resolute. "This is where it gets tricky. Stay alert."

After descending into the atmosphere, the Millennium Falcon slipped seamlessly into Coruscant's bustling air traffic. The lanes were a dizzying labyrinth of speeders, freighters, and official Imperial shuttles, all moving with an order that belied the chaos of the countless lives crammed into the city-planet below.

Luke Skywalker leaned forward, peering out of the cockpit window, his blue eyes wide with awe. "I've never seen anything like this," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Beside him, Harry was equally entranced, his gaze darting from one immense structure to the next.

Han Solo, however, was anything but impressed. "Yeah, it's real pretty until someone decides you're in their way," he muttered. His grip on the controls tightened as he maneuvered the Falcon between two massive freighters, narrowly avoiding a collision.

Leia Organa remained silent, her hands clasped tightly behind her back as she studied the cityscape below. Her face was calm, but her eyes betrayed a quiet tension.

As they flew deeper into the planet's atmosphere, the towering spires and intricate layers of the city came into sharper focus. But amidst the sprawling metropolis, one structure stood out—a massive, dark building, its jagged architecture starkly different from the smooth lines of the surrounding skyscrapers.

Luke was the first to notice it. "What's that?" he asked, pointing toward the ominous structure.

Harry frowned, his brow furrowing as he felt an unsettling chill crawl up his spine. "There's something … wrong about that place," he murmured, his voice tinged with unease.

Leia turned her attention to where they were looking, her expression tightening. "That's the Imperial Palace," she said, her voice carefully controlled. "It's where the Emperor resides." She paused, her gaze lingering on the building. "It wasn't always the Imperial Palace. Before the Empire, it was the Jedi Temple."

Both Luke and Harry whipped their heads toward her in surprise.

"The Jedi Temple?" Luke repeated, his voice filled with disbelief.

Leia nodded solemnly. "Before the Empire rose to power, it was where the Jedi lived and trained, a place of peace and learning. But now …" Her voice trailed off, and she shook her head.

Harry's stomach churned at the thought. "Maybe we should steer clear of that place," he suggested.

"Agreed," Luke added, his voice firm.

Leia gave Han a quick glance. "If you follow the coordinates for my contact, it'll lead us right to him. The last time I saw him he was operating in the industrial underbelly, far from the palace."

Han glanced at her from the corner of his eye. "Your contact better be worth it," he said.

Leia ignored his remark, turning to Chewbacca. "Chewie, monitor our course. We should be ok, but make sure we're not followed."

Chewbacca growled in acknowledgment, his large hands deftly adjusting the console's controls.

As the Falcon descended into Coruscant's lower levels, Han let out a low whistle. "You know, it's not every day you risk your neck to come to the Empire's backyard. This better not turn into another one of those missions."

Leia smirked faintly. "Make a habit of running into dangerous situations, Captain Solo?"

Han snorted. "Do you want the list alphabetically or by level of disaster?"

Luke and Harry, meanwhile, were still taking in their surroundings. The towering cityscape was a mesmerizing tangle of gleaming skyscrapers, hovering platforms, and endless streams of speeders. It was like nothing they had ever seen before.

"This place is incredible," Harry said, craning his neck to look out the side viewport. "It's so … alive."

Luke nodded in agreement. "It's hard to believe the Empire has such a tight grip on a place like this. There's so much going on, so many people."

Leia's voice turned sharp. "That's exactly how they maintain control. The chaos makes it easier for them to keep people in line. Fear and oppression are just part of the system here. However, the tighter the Empire maintains their grip the easier it is for people to find the cracks."

Han guided the Falcon into a quieter lane as they approached their destination. The glittering towers gave way to industrial grime, the sleek lines of the upper city replaced by tangled pipes, flickering neon lights, and rusted platforms.

"This is it," Leia said, pointing toward a nondescript hangar nestled between two massive ventilation stacks.

The Millennium Falcon settled into the concealed hangar with a faint groan of its landing struts as it touched down. The engines hissing softly as they powered down. The hangar was dimly lit, a stark contrast to the bustling lights of Coruscant above. The air smelled of metal and oil, with faint wisps of steam rising from various pipes and machinery scattered around.

Han powered down the controls, leaning back in his seat with a sigh of relief. "Home sweet home," he muttered sarcastically. "Let's hope your friend is as good as you say he is."

Leia unbuckled her harness and rose to her feet, her face a mask of determination. "Let's make this quick. The longer we stay, the greater the risk."

Chewbacca grunted in agreement, grabbing his bowcaster as he prepared to disembark.

The ramp lowered with a hiss, and the group stepped out into the cool, stale air of the dimly lit hangar. A figure emerged from the shadows, his blaster raised and aimed directly at them. He was a wiry man with salt-and-pepper hair, his face weathered but sharp.

"Hold it right there," he barked, his eyes narrowing. "Who are you, and what's your business here?"

Han immediately laughed as he raised his hands and turned towards Leia, "So happy I let you convince us to come here Princess."

Ignoring him, Leia stepped forward, raising her hands in a calming gesture. "Darek, it's me."

The man's grip on the blaster tightened for a moment before his eyes widened in recognition. "Leia?" he said, lowering the weapon. His voice softened, and he took a hesitant step forward. "I can't believe it. What in the stars are you doing here? Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to show your face on Coruscant?"

Leia managed a faint smile. "Good to see you too, Darek."

Darek's expression shifted from surprise to concern. He glanced at the others, his gaze lingering on Han, Luke, Harry, and Chewbacca before returning to Leia. "You're traveling with quite the crew. What's going on?"

Leia's smile faded, replaced by a somber expression. She took a deep breath before speaking. "Darek, there's something you need to know. Alderaan … Alderaan is gone."

The words hung in the air like a physical weight. Darek froze, his face a mask of disbelief. "What do you mean, gone?" he asked, his voice hoarse.

"The Empire destroyed it," Leia said, her voice trembling slightly. "They used a weapon—something unimaginably powerful. They obliterated the entire planet. Millions of lives ... my family, our people ... all gone."

Darek staggered back, his hand gripping the edge of a nearby workbench for support. "No," he whispered, shaking his head. "No, that can't be true. The Empire wouldn't—" He stopped himself, his face hardening. "Of course they would."

Anger flashed in his eyes as he straightened, his fists clenched. "Those kriffing monsters," he spat. "They won't stop until they've crushed everything and everyone."

Leia placed a hand on his arm, her gaze steady. "That's why we're here, Darek. We're fighting back. But right now, we need your help."

Darek nodded slowly, his anger giving way to grim resolve. "What do you need?"

Han stepped forward, gesturing to the Falcon. "We've got a tracker on the ship courtesy of the Empire, and the Princess thinks it might be rigged to blow. Think you can get it off without taking us—and your shop—with it?"

Darek's eyes narrowed as he looked over to the freighter. "Let me take a look."

He grabbed a set of tools and climbed onto the Falcon, his movements quick and practiced. A few minutes later, he called down to the group. "Well, you weren't kidding. This isn't just a tracker—it's a kriffing bomb. There is enough explosive power here to take out half the district."

Han crossed his arms, scowling. "Great. Just what I wanted to hear. Be careful with her, alright?"

Darek chuckled, shaking his head as he climbed down from the ship. "Don't worry. Most of my neighbors are decent folk. I'd hate to ruin their day."

Han rolled his eyes but said nothing.

Darek set to work immediately, his hands moving deftly as they watched him start to dismantle the tracker. The group watched in tense silence, the faint hum of machinery and the occasional crackle of a nearby vent the only sounds in the hangar.

Luke shifted uncomfortably, glancing at Harry. "Do you think he can do it?" he asked in a low voice.

Harry shrugged, his expression unreadable. "He seems to know what he's doing."

Leia, however, was watching Darek closely. "He's the best mechanic I know and he has a background in explosives," she said quietly. "If anyone can do this, it's him."

Minutes stretched into what felt like hours as Darek worked. At one point, he paused, wiping sweat from his brow as he muttered something under his breath.

Finally, he straightened, holding up a small, cylindrical device. "Got the tracker off," he announced before handing it off to a droid that immediately scampered off.

Han exhaled sharply, relief evident on his face. "And the bomb?"

"That'll take some more time," he said cautiously as he looked back to the ship. "They did a really impressive job integrating it into your ship. I definitely have my work cut out for me. But thought I'd get the tracker off so I don't have to worry about storm troopers knocking on my door while I am working on removing an Empire explosive from a ship."

"Thank you, Darek," Leia said softly.

Darek waved her off. "It's nothing. Just doing my part." His expression turned serious. "But you need to be careful, Leia. The Empire's tightening its grip. If they find out you're here …"

Leia nodded. "I know. I just need to make a brief stop, which I might as well make now, but we'll be gone as soon as you clear the ship."

Darek hesitated before speaking again. "That's a good idea. This'll take some time. Before you go … is there anything else I can do? Anything to hit back at those bastards for what they did?"

Leia shook her head as she looked at him stoically. "Just keep doing what you're doing, Darek. The rebellion needs people like you—people who are willing to be there to help the fight, even in small ways."

Darek nodded, his jaw set. "You can count on me."

As he walked back towards the Falcon, Leia led the group to the edge of the hanger and Han turned to Leia. "What's you plan, Princess? Isn't heading out the opposite of keeping our heads down."

Leia glanced at between him and Luke and Harry, her expression thoughtful. "I have one more stop to make. A rebel cell here on Coruscant. Since we are here, I can pop by as they might have information we can use."

Han groaned. "Of course that's what you want to do. And let me guess—you want me to stay here and babysit the ship?"

"You catch on quick, Captain Solo." Leia said with a smirk before her face became serious. "However, if Darek manages to remove the explosive and we haven't made contact in a reasonable amount of time. I need you to fly the R2 unit to the Rebellion."

"Alright, Princess," Han had said before they left, crossing his arms as he leaned against the ship. "You three go play hero. If you don't come back, I'll get the droid to your friends, it's the only way I'd get paid I suppose."

Leia shook her head as she turned toward the exit. "You'll get paid, Captain Solo."

Harry watched as Han repeated the same motion, muttering under his breath as he walked over to the benches where the droids were waiting. "One of these days, I'm going to stop letting you talk me into these things."

Chewbacca growled softly, and Han sighed, replying loud enough that the three of them heard his words. "Yeah, yeah. I know. Let's just hope they don't get themselves killed."

Leia, Luke, and Harry exchanged glances before stepping out into the shadows of Coruscant's underbelly, the faint hum of the garage fading behind them.

The underbelly of Coruscant was a stark contrast to the gleaming upper levels. Here, the towering skyscrapers gave way to tangled pipes, rusted walkways, and flickering neon signs casting eerie shadows. The air was thick with the scent of oil, smoke, and a hint of something acrid that Harry couldn't quite place.

Luke and Harry followed closely behind Leia as she navigated the maze-like streets with practiced ease. Both young men were awestruck by the sheer size and scale of the city.

"I can't believe this place," Harry said, his voice tinged with both wonder and unease. "It feels … endless."

Luke nodded, his eyes scanning the chaotic mix of speeders, walkways, and towering structures. "It's like a whole world stacked on top of itself. It's overwhelming."

Leia glanced back at them, her expression serious. "Stay close and keep your heads down. The lower levels can be unpredictable, and we don't want to draw attention."

Now, only two blocks into their journey, the trio nearly stumbled into an Imperial patrol rounding a corner. Leia stopped abruptly, throwing her arm out to halt Luke and Harry.

"Patrol," she whispered, her tone sharp.

The group pressed into the shadows, hearts pounding as stormtroopers marched past.

Luke's hand instinctively drifted toward the lightsaber at his belt, but Leia shook her head and whispered to him. "Don't. They're not here for us."

Sure enough, the patrol stopped a few meters ahead, surrounding a group of Ithorians who were huddled together near a rusted cargo lift. The stormtroopers barked orders, demanding identification and questioning their presence in the area.

Harry leaned closer to Leia. "What are they doing?"

Leia's expression was grim. "The Empire's cracking down on unauthorized movement in the lower levels which more often than not is directed at aliens. Ithorians especially seem to targeted."

The group waited in tense silence until the patrol moved on, leading the Ithorians along with them. Only then did Leia signal for Luke and Harry to follow her deeper into the maze of streets.

As they moved, Harry couldn't help but glance back at the direction the patrol had gone. "That could have been us," he murmured.

Leia led them into a narrow alley, glancing around before speaking. "It wasn't. And as long as we stick to the plan, it won't be."

Harry and Luke exchanged a glance but said nothing, trusting Leia's confidence.

After a few minutes of walking, Luke broke the silence. "Leia, you seemed to know your way around back there. I wouldn't have thought you would have spent a lot of time down here being a Princess and all."

Leia hesitated, her gaze distant for a moment. "I spent a lot of time on Coruscant growing up and wasn't always the easiest child to manage." She said with a smile before pausing, "I had made a friend down here once when I had … gone for a walk," she admitted. "Her parents helped people—aliens, the poor, refugees, anyone trying to escape the Empire. But one day … they all just disappeared."

Harry frowned. "What happened?"

Leia shook her head. "I don't know but I would have bet everything I owned that the Empire was involved. They just vanished. No one heard from them again."

The weight of her words hung in the air, and the group fell into a contemplative silence.

As they continued through the labyrinthine streets, since Leia didn't seem particularly chatty after sharing that story about her friend, Luke and Harry began discussing the dark presence that they both had felt as they had flown by the Imperial Palace earlier.

"There was something wrong about that place," Harry said, his voice low. "It felt … heavy. Like the air around it was poisoned."

Luke nodded. "I felt it too. It wasn't just dark—it was alive. Like it was waiting for us."

Leia glanced at them, her brow furrowing. "The Emperor resides there," she said cautiously. "Whatever you felt … it's no coincidence."

Harry shuddered. "Do you think it's him? Or something else?"

Luke hesitated, unsure. "I don't know. But whatever it was, it makes me think this mission might be more dangerous than we realized."

Her tone softened as she continued. "My father used to tell me stories about the early days of the Empire. He worked in secret to help the Rebellion take shape. He even helped smuggle Jedi and younglings out of danger after the Purge."

Luke's eyes widened in shock. "Your father knew Jedi?"

Leia nodded. "He did. He believed in their cause, even when they seemed to lose hope. And he knew that as long as even one Jedi survived, the fight wasn't over."

Luke stared at her, the revelation stirring something deep within him. "So there are Jedi out there? I thought the Empire got them all."

Leia met his gaze. "Yes. They're out there, Luke. Hiding, surviving, and waiting for the right time to fight back."

The hope in her words lit a fire in Luke, and even Harry felt a surge of determination.

Leia smiled faintly, placing a hand on Luke's shoulder. "And with you, Luke, the Jedi are bound to return."

Story Note 1 – Welcome to Coruscant! Obviously off plot at this point and while there will certainly be some plot events that I will use most of this story will be an in-character AU Star Wars experience. So I really hope you enjoy what you read and I hope that you don't hesitate to let me know what you are thinking.

Story Note 2 – This is a slightly shorter chapter that introduces an important character and will help set several incoming things up but I enjoyed how it came together and there were a couple highlights.

Story Note 3 - This story will obviously be a Harry x Leia story. But obviously everyone loves Han. So going forward will be trying to balance the need to move Harry and Leia along with the desire to maintain Han and Leia's banter. Looking for feedback on how this is going.

A large thanks to those of you out there who enjoy my stories, I promise to keep updating the stories as long as you all are enjoying them, and a special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to leave feedback or have reached out to me directly.

JettShay, starboy454, A10riddick, Aluriea, Vuduman5, samjordon08 - Thanks so much for the feedback and I really hope you continue to enjoy the story as it progresses! Provide any feedback that you want!

Admiral Ackbar - First of all I love the name, second of all I was a little concerned about replying directly to you cause ... you know ... I thought it might be a trap ... haha. But as for Leia as for whether she truly believed it or wanted to give Han a hard time I am unsure but I watched a New Hope ... several times ... to prepare for writing this and she calls out right away that they were let out too easily and it might be because they were being tracked. So while certainly luring the Empire to Yavin would be a good idea. They would probably wait until they had time to fully come up with a plan and they were prepared because in the movie we saw just how close they were to being done for. Of course if the Death Star just blew up the planet that was separating them they could have then just fired on the Rebel Base right away. Also super good catch that's on me. You are certainly correct!

LoveSpock - Glad you like the twist! Usually I spend a little more time working into the twist but this seemed like a good time to do it! As for seeing Force Ghosts he will have had slightly less time to connect with Obi-Wan but he can use the Force so no reason he couldn't see them.

Blaze1992 - Ooo I guess it depends where he landed but if it was somewhere of importance then definitely. Unlike in the books where magic and technology might be completely unpairable in this universe there is much less interaction and the reason for the short out was him appearing less so the actual effect of the magic.

Andromedanaea - Me as well! I felt that it was important enough to have him start to interact in the world and meet the characters but wanted to shift the story much earlier than most of my other stories. Glad it is working for you. That being said some characters/events/locations from the original trilogy will definitely pop by. For instance I imagine Harry will get along swimmingly with Lando and would love to meet Dobby ... I mean Yoda ... As for the tracker that is one thing I had thought of but chose to view it as they were still being pursued and the amount of time they would need to train Harry on what should/shouldn't be up there would have taken too long ... plus I didn't want Harry to accidentally vanish the oxygen compressor or something.

avidnarutofan - Certainly a big change! Hopefully everything still works out! Definitely leave comments if there is something specifically you want to see!

cameron1812 - Stop reading my story notes about upcoming chapters! Haha ... well I guess we shall see who pops up ...

Monkey D. Conan - Thanks so much! It is something that will certainly play a significant role in the story! As without the bond between them Han might have been less likely to stick around. And while the age gap sorta was alot its hard to deny that he wasn't everyones favorite stuck up, half witted, scruffy-looking nerf-hearder!
