a teenage Jacob sat in the passenger seat of a large truck carrying wooden boxes of carrots. Jacob wore a black t-shirt, baggy blue jeans and white sneakers while his chin-length hair was pushed away from his face by a flower hair clip. on his lap was his bright red and black backpack.

the truck then parked behind a supermarket.

"thanks for the ride dad!" Jacob thanked as he undid his seatbelt and opened the door.

"your welcome Jacob" the man driving replied as Jacob got out of the truck and put the backpack on.

he quickly ran down the streets to the high school.

Jacob stopped running near the stairs, where teenage Brick, Boomer and Butch were at the bottom of.
Brick sat on the railing reading a book on mythology. he wore a red t-shirt over a thin white shirt, loose beige jeans, red and white sneakers, a bright red baseball cap and a dark red backpack while his elbow-length hair was tied in a high ponytail and went through the hole the clasp of his cap formed.
Boomer was leaning on the railing next to him writing in his notebook. he wore a plaid blue jacket around his waist, a white t-shirt, dark blue denim shorts, blue and white sneakers and a dark blue backpack while his neck-length hair was tied in a small low ponytail.
Butch was sitting on the stairs drawing in his small sketchbook. he wore a green sports T-shirt with the logo of the local sports team on the front, beige jeans, green and white sneakers and a dark green backpack while his non-existing-chin-length hair partically covered his left eye.

"hey guys!" Jacob greeted, catching the brothers attention.

"hi Jacob! are the others behind you?" Butch asked as he stood up.

"no. they're taking the bus. I got a ride from my dad" Jacob explained.

"alright. I like your outfit!" Brick complimented.

"thanks! I got tips from Butch" Jacob replied with a smile.

"your welcome" Butch winked.

"Brick! Boomer! Butch!" someone called as they and another person ran over.

"Violet! Henry! it's been so long!" Boomer squealed as he ran over and hugged the girl, Violet gently. she wore a yellow frilly tank-top, blue jeans, white sandals with a red and white bandana keeping her shoulder-length hair out of her face.

"'sup dude? long time no see" Brick said as he hopped off the railing and gave the boy, Henry a fist bump. he wore a white collared shirt, a black sweater, blue jeans ripped at the knees and black and white sneakers while his chin-length hair partially covered his right eye and had an undercut.

"where have you been?" Violet asked as she was freed from Boomers hug.

"we got fostered and adopted two weeks after you left. we were so busy with our new lives we may have forgotten to visit" Boomer admitted.

"chillax, it's fine. good to see you again. who's your friend?" Violet asked as she pointed to Jacob, who waved nervously.

"he's our friend. we meet him in 2nd grade and we've been friends ever since" Butch explained, putting an arm over Jacobs shoulders.

"get away from the boy Butch" someone spoke sternly behind the group, a voice all three rowdyruff boys instantly recognized.

Butch pulled away from Jacob and turned around with a terrified expression. standing at the corner of the sidewalk was Buttercup, Blossom and Bubbles.
Buttercup stood strong with a stern expression. she wore a black tank-top, beige shorts, green and black sneakers and black cloth on her wrists while her non-existing-chin-length black hair was loose and partially covering her left eye, making her look even more intimidating.
Blossom stood to Buttercups left with a confused expression. she wore a collared white t-shirt, a gray-ish red sweater, blue jeans, red and black sneakers while her wrist-length bright orange hair was tied in a high ponytail by a pink ribbon bow.
Bubbles stood to Buttercups right with a concerned expression. she wore a bright blue t-shirt with a unicorn on it, a light blue jacket, denim shorts, blue and black sneakers and a white flower hair piece while her shoulder-length blonde hair was tied into low pigtails.

"still wearing your hair in pigtails I see, eh Bubbles?" Boomer joked to lighten the mood.

Henry let out a small giggle at that, confusing Blossom even more.

"what are you three doing here? we thought you moved to farmsville!" Buttercup queried.

"yeah well, we got adopted and farmsville doesn't have a high school. so here we are" Brick replied, gesturing to the building in front of them.

"Violet, Henry. why are you with them?" Bubbles asked.

"they were our roommates in the orphanage before we were adopted. of course we'd be hanging out after not seeing each other for almost seven years!" Violet replied.

"so you're not bad guys?" Buttercup questioned, clearly still suspicious.

"nope! come on guys, we should probably bounce" Boomer announced, to which he and his brothers sped up the stairs into the school building.

Boomer walked into his art class, bag in hand as he heard someone gasp nearby.

he looked up to see Bubbles sitting at a desk on the other side of the room.

"'sup" he greeted before heading to the back of the classroom where he sat down on a stool next to Liam while taking off his backpack and putting it on the floor.

"booyah! same class!" Boomer cheered, giving Liam a high five. Liam wore a black t-shirt with a pocket, blue jeans, black sneakers with white laces and a black newsboy cap while his neck-length hair was loose.

"yeah!" Liam squealed in his seat.

Boomer then got out a book from his bag to read before class started.

Liam elbowed him in the shoulder, getting his attention.

Boomer looked up, seeing Bubbles standing in front of him with the scariest expression he'd ever seen.

"holy sh-t!" Boomer screeched, falling back off his stool.

"you okay?" Liam asked as Bubbles' expression flickered.

"I'm fine. why the f-ck are you looking at me like that?" the blonde-haired boy asked.

"first off, language. second, my sisters think you and your brothers are lying. I have sound wave powers so I can tell if your lying. now tell me the truth" Bubbles replied.

"how accurate is it?" Boomer questioned as he stood up and put the stool back upright.

"about 50/50. depends on body language and tone of voice" Bubbles responded with a shrug.

"cool. how about we go talk somewhere more private? there's an empty classroom next door" Boomer suggested.

"how did you-"

"when you were a super-villain for two to three years, you learn to be pretty observant of your surroundings" Boomer cut her off as he walked past her.

Liam watched as her large eyes narrowed before she followed him.
