Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon live a nice normal family life. But what would happen if Lisbon lost her memory in an accident and could no longer remember the last 15 years? How would the Lisbon from season 1 react when she finds out that she is married to her annoying and exhausting counselor and even has children with him? A problem rarely comes by itself.

After a call reporting gunshots at Lisbon's house, her team arrives only to find an empty, wrecked home—with blood everywhere. Sergeant Olivia Benson shows up with crucial information, and Patrick Jane, along with the CBI team, must face a chilling truth: someone has taken Teresa Lisbon… and they had been watching her for a long time. It features a mini crossover with Law & Order:

Lisbon reflects on going to D.C. and on the idea of leaving a certain consultant behind. Or: They're both idiots who would rather take a bullet for each other than sit down and talk about their feelings. Until, well… they actually take a bullet for each other.
