Welcome back to A Song of Spiders and Dragons. Last time, Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man made their way into Fisk Tower, and after keeping Aunt May off their scent, got the report that Fisk is trying to wipe his data servers, and after taking out his men, they made their way towards the data servers, hoping to arrive before Fisk wipes the data and gets away with everything. Will they succeed? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes in the air vent, where Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man are making their way towards Fisk's data center, to stop him from wiping everything that would incriminate him, so literally everything)

Spider-Man: I've got to give Fisk this. For a dirty criminal, he has remarkably clean air vents.

Cynder: Doesn't he have asthma or something?

(Before anyone can answer, a pair of Fisk's thugs can be heard through the vents)

Fisk Thug 1: Hurry it up! The boss wants everything erased!

Fisk Thug 2: I can't make it delete any faster you know! It's not like they make delete over-clockers!

Spyro: Data center straight ahead.

Spider-Man: Then in we go.

(With that, Spider-Man opens the vent and webs up the two thugs before the group drops in on the rest of them)

Cynder: Is this tech support?

Spider-Man: Yeah, we seem to have all forgotten our passwords.

Fisk Thug 3: Don't let them near the console!

(At this point, we see the console, and the timer to complete file deletion rests at one minute as the fight starts)

Spyro: 60 seconds till we lose everything, Spidey. Better make this quick.

Spider-Man: That's what she said.

Cynder: Really?

Spider-Man: Running out of quips with you two!

(And with that, the battle is on. But with three experienced fighters, the group is down before the deletion timer reads 20 seconds.)

Spyro: 20 seconds, Spidey! Do your techie thing!

Spider-Man: Already on it! Let's see how good their security really is. (Examines the system as he stops the deletion) Should have everything covered, looks like they didn't get the latest kernel patch. Sloppy, sloppy, Kingpin.

(And at the mere mention of his name, the Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, appears on the screen above them)

Kingpin: Hiding in the server room are we? That's cowardly, even for the three of you.

Cynder: This coming from the guy frantically erasing his search history.

Spyro: It's over, Fisk. In a moment we'll have everything we need to take you down for good.

Kingpin: After all these years, the three of you are still just ignorant children.

Spider-Man: Hey, that may be true for me, but don't go insulting my friends like that.

(At this point, Spider-Man finishes downloading everything, which only now has Kingpin noticed)

Kingpin: Damn you. (To someone offscreen) GET THAT DOOR DOWN, NOW!

(And just like that, guards swarm the room as Kingpin continues monologuing and the three heroes start fighting)

Kingpin: Look around you. All of this is my doing. What have any of you done worth noticing?

Spyro: Did you forget that I kind of pulled the planet back together?

Cynder: Or that we saved the world from Malefor?

Spider-Man: Or that time I took down a pompous overstuffed crime lord before breakfast?

Kingpin: Without me, those scum out there that I kept in check will run rampant. And you will be the ones to blame.

Spider-Man: Been a long road for all of us, Fisk.

Cynder: (As she headlocks a thug) I'll be honest, it's kind of sad to see it all end.

Kingpin: (As the screens shut down) A mere prelude.

Spyro: Then get ready for the main event. We're coming up after you. (To Cynder and Spider-Man) Let's go!

(And with that, the three exit the server room, prepared to face the Kingpin, as our story ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to wrap up for now. So, Spider-Man has managed to copy all of Kingpin's data and now he's going on about how the people he kept in check are going to run rampant.
