This is Part II of the Labor Day Special. Last time, Spyro handled the situation at the Upper West Side of Midtown, dealing not only with convicts sieging the barricades after Rhino smashed through but Sable's agents with jetpacks. But once that got done with, everybody rushed to meet up with Spider-Man at the Veterans Center in Harlem, where things are really going to hell. But will everybody make it in time? Read on to discover...

(The scene picks up in the heat of action as Spider-Man swings towards the Veterans Center in Harlem, when MJ calls him in a panic)

MJ: Peter! We need you at the Veterans Center, where are you?!

Spider-Man: I'm on my way. What's going on?

MJ: The convicts started a fire! We got the building staff out, but Miles and May are trapped inside! Ember, Flame and I are trying to find a way in but the fire's spreading so fast!

Spider-Man: Stay where you are, I'm on my way.

(But thankfully, at this point, Spider-Man isn't alone, as Spyro and Cynder swoop in, joining the call)

Spyro: We all are.

Cynder: We'll handle this.

Spider-Man: (Hanging up the call) Damn it, Pete! Move it!

(But thankfully, the team has just arrived in Harlem just as Ember and Flame call in)

Flame: Good news, Fire and Rescue's on the scene.

Ember: And better news, we've found a fire escape that'll get us in!

Spider-Man: What?! Stay put, we don't want to have to rescue you guys too!

MJ: (Joining in the call) What? Peter are you crazy?! Wait for help, don't just go rushing in!

(But it's too late, Spider-Man is already swinging his way into the Veterans Center, with Spyro and Cynder close on his heels, hoping to save him before he does something dumb, such as break through a window to enter the building, which he's already done)

Spider-Man: May? MAY?!

Miles Morales: (In the distance) Help!

(At this point, Spyro and Cynder fly in and hear Miles Morales' cry for help. At this point, the trio realize there's little they can do and start searching the building, only to eventually run into Miles Morales and Aunt May, who's still coughing unnervingly, near the edge of the building, on a floor that's about to collapse)

Miles Morales: Over here!

(Wasting no time, Spider-Man fires web lines to the floor to try and brace it up while Spyro and Cynder rush under the floor to support it)

Miles Morales: (To Aunt May) I've got you.

Spider-Man: Hang on!

(At this point, Spyro and Cynder are pushing up on the floor with all their strength)

Spider-Man: Get to the window!

Miles Morales: (Notes the distance) It's too far!

(But then, much to everyone's surprise, MJ, Ember, and Flame enter through that very window. The trio debates acting, but realizes they have no choice)

MJ: Brace yourselves!

(Wasting no time, MJ, Ember, and Flame push over a loose support pillar to form a bridge to the window. It takes a few shoves and a little bit of cursing, but they get it over)

Ember: Come on May, let's get you out of here!

(Not wasting the opportunity, Aunt May works her way across the makeshift bridge while Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man continue to hold up the floor, though they're starting to lose their grip at this point. Aunt May makes it across, but then Spyro and Cynder start to lose their grip on the floor as Miles Morales starts to make his way over.)

Flame: Miles, come on!

(Miles Morales just about makes it just as Spider-Man loses his grip on the web lines and Spyro and Cynder lose their grip on the floor. Thankfully the two fly their way out from under the floor before it can land on them. But then, a wall collapses behind Spider-Man, knocking him into the fire. But thankfully the Wall-Crawler slings a new web line to save himself. It almost doesn't connect, but Miles Morales grabs it, and manages to pull Spider-Man up once MJ, Ember, Flame, Spyro, and Cynder join in, and after a few pulls, they have him up)

MJ: We've got you.

(And wasting no time, the group gets out of the burning building, with MJ and Miles Morales carrying Spider-Man with his arms over their shoulders, everybody getting out of there just as the scene ends)

This concludes Part II of the Labor Day Special. For Part III, head on over to The Injustice Wars. Well, that sorts out Harlem. Yes, this one was a little shorter than standard, but it was more action than dialogue. And now the team seems to finally be one. Or at least are heading in that direction now that Spider-Man had his tail saved by the others. How's this going to shake down going forward? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
