While the rest of the hotel continued to be decimated by a horde of horny Demons led by Valefar's daughters, those who actually worked there eventually found themselves following Prince Gaap's instructions and gathering inside the ballroom for their own safety. At this point, almost everyone had already prepared themselves to spend the night since they saw no end to the madness happening any time soon. Among the staff members seeking refuge, two individuals in particular, namely Gaap and Margaret, were the most on edge.
"Is that everyone?" Gaap asked, anxiously gripping the handle of his cane.
"Most of the staff are already inside," Margaret replied, looking over the checklist she had on hand. "Though I'm afraid to say that we do appear to have a few stragglers."
At those words, Gaap merely shook his head.
"Then there's no helping them," he coldly said. "Have the doors locked and bolted."
As much as Margaret wanted to argue against leaving some of their own to the jaws of the madness just outside this room, she found herself unable to do so due to her anxiety.
"Yes sir, I understand," she replied, before turning to the two Hellhounds waiting at the doors and giving them a stern nod.
Following the manager's silent instruction, the Hellhounds proceed to slam the double doors shut before locking them, bolting the edges and placing a steel crossbar in front of them. With any luck, even a rhino couldn't get through these doors.
"Ugh… how could so many things go so wrong in such a short amount of time!?" Gaap exclaimed, rubbing his temple upon feeling a serious migraine coming on.
"This is a disaster on an astronomical level," Margaret sighed in agreement. "Those girls have only been here for over an hour and we've already got guests fleeing the hotel. Plus, it may just be my imagination, but I swear the family is multiplying."
Given how many guests were now part of the horde Valefar's daughters had created, it was no wonder that Margaret felt this way. However, Gaap only appeared to grow even angrier with such a statement.
"Is there any news on how they got that booking?" he asked, much to the manager's added stress.
"I'm afraid not sir," she said regretfully. "All we know for sure is that someone used one of our computers to do it. As for who's responsible, I cannot say. Seems they also managed to remotely disable the security cameras on their way out."
Hearing that, Gaap gritted his teeth and squeezed his cane so hard it literally cracked. If he ever found out who did this, they were going to pay dearly for their mistake! Speaking of which…
"That Mermaid isn't here with us, is she?" the Goetia Prince asked with a sneer.
"No, sir," Margaret replied. "As per your request, Crystal was expelled from the hotel hours ago."
"Good," Gaap sighed with a glare. "I don't want that little tramp anywhere near this place unless it's served up on a silver platter with a drizzle of butter and lemon juice."
Needless to say, Margaret couldn't help but cringe at that statement. But regardless, she nodded her head all the same. With that said, the Goetia Prince looked towards one particular corner of the room. There he saw Kanya sitting at one of the tables under the watchful eye of two Hellhounds, one Doberman, one skull-spotted Dalmatian, her eyes practically red and puffy from all the crying she had been doing after Crystal's departure. Needless to say, this entire evening had been the worst she had ever experienced… not that Gaap actually cared.
"Be sure to keep an extra close watch on my daughter," the Prince instructed Margaret. "Should she try to escape, you are to see that she is stopped by any means necessary. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir," Margaret replied, albeit a little reluctantly. "But, um… if I may, why all the extra precautions for her? Don't you think it may be a bit… much?"
At those words, Gaap's eyes glowed as he let out a snarl in Margaret's face.
"Are you questioning my judgment?" he growled, clearly not liking being second-guessed in decisions regarding his own daughter.
"N-no, sir!" Margaret stuttered, choosing not to rock the boat any further than it was already. "Please, forget I said anything."
Meanwhile, on one of the upper floors of the hotel, a couple of Valefar's daughters seemed to have gathered in one of the corridors, along with a small chunk of female guests. At first glance, they appeared to be running out of steam, many of them simply leaning against the walls or "enjoying themselves" in one of the open rooms. However, little did they know, the whole group was being watched by a certain Snake Demon Greaser from around the nearby corner, a look of total unease etched across his face.
"Okay, just follow Mick's instructions and we should be good," he said with a gulp as he turned to someone behind him. "Any questions?"
"Yeah," Buzz's voice replied from behind Johnny's back. "Does this skirt make me look fat?"
BONK!
"OW!"
"Just get out there!"
Before Buzz knew it, he was suddenly being kicked out from behind the corner, for some reason wearing a grass skirt and a coconut bra, along with a feathered headdress.
"Alright! Jeez!" the Imp snapped, now rubbing his sore head. "So testy."
Needless to say, anyone who wasn't in on the plan would find the sight of Buzz wearing such attire weird, even for him. However, little would they realize that this was merely a small part of a big scheme laid out by Mick beforehand… one that both Buzz and Johnny were now morally obligated to go along with as punishment for their blunder. Putting two fingers to his lips, Buzz quickly grabbed the horde's attention at the same time Johnny stepped out without a shirt on. At that moment, Buzz suddenly started singing.
Buzz:
Luau!
If you're hungry for a hunk of big ol' sexy meat,
Here's my buddy, Johnny, come on, isn't he a treat?
Now no need to wine, two by two is fine,
All you gotta do is get in line!
While Buzz danced around as if he were doing the hula, Johnny struck numerous poses to show off all the muscles in his torso, thus captivating the intoxicated audience with ease.
Buzz:
Are ya horny?
Johnny:
(Uh huh!)
Buzz:
For some brawny?
Johnny:
(Uh huh!)
Buzz:
He's a big boy,
Johnny:
(Uh huh!)
Buzz:
And my ladies, he's all for you!
Oy!
After that, came an uncomfortable silence. With gulps in their throats, both Buzz and Johnny were feeling anxious about what was about to happen. Sure enough, sultry grins suddenly spread all over the faces of the horde, some of them were even salivating like dogs in heat… and Buzz and Johnny were right in their sights.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
And so, the chase between the two idiots and the horde they brought to the hotel had begun.
Of course, this scenario wasn't the only one of its kind currently going on. Throughout the hotel, on different floors, similar forms of baiting were being orchestrated by Johnny's clones. Choosing to focus their efforts on the ringleaders, AKA Valefar's daughters themselves, Mick was having the Snake Demon track those girls down in different parts of the hotel and luring them and their current group into a chase.
"Uh… come and get it, ladies?" one particular clone, Joey, said, flexing his abs in the horde's direction.
He may not have had a musical number, but nonetheless, his efforts were met with the same result
"Man Meat!" The eldest daughter yelled as a trickle of drool leaked out of her mouth.
"Oh, Fuck MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Meanwhile, as Johnny and Buzz, along with all his clones, were being chased through the hotel by Valefar's daughters and their horde, Mick, Linda and Crystal were playing their own part in the Cat Demon's plan. After cautiously sneaking around the hotel, careful not to catch the attention of anyone, including any Hellhound security guards that could still be lurking somewhere, three of them soon found themselves just outside the Ballroom doors.
"And you're sure they're all hunkered down in here?" Mick asked Crystal in a hushed tone, earning himself a nod from his fellow Sinner
"Positive," she said firmly. "This is basically Gaap's main go-to place in a crisis. If he and all the staff are hiding anywhere, it's in there."
"And since he'd want to keep an eye on her, Kanya will be in there too," Linda added, earning yet another nod from the Mermaid. "So how do we get in?"
"WE are going to wait out here," Mick pointed out, gesturing to himself and Crystal before the Mermaid took something out of her cleavage. "YOU are going to take this note, crawl through that vent and find Kanya so we can get her the message that we're coming for her."
Seeing Mick point to a nearby 15-inch square air vent situated just a yard away from the doors, Linda couldn't help but raise an eyebrow over what could be going on through the Cat Demon's head.
"I'm sorry to ask this of you Liddy, but you're the only one small enough to fit in there," Mick continued, his voice genuinely sounding a little guilty. "You know I wouldn't ask this if it wasn't important."
Undoubtedly, had Linda stayed with Octavia instead of joining up with the rescue group, Buzz would have been the one to do this job. But, of course, she had to let her emotions over what happened on the roof affect her judgement so here she was. Either way, Linda knew Mick well enough at this point to know that he wouldn't willingly put her in any danger, so she trusted her judgment. With a nod and a smile, she then plucked up her courage and took the note from the Cat Demon's hand.
"Don't worry," she said, giving Crystal in particular a reassuring smile. "I'll make sure she gets this, no problem."
"Be careful, Liddy," Mick sighed, before he and the small Imp quickly moved towards the vent, allowing him to rip off the grate and let her crawl inside.
Watching the little Imp's tail disappear into the darkness, however, Crystal couldn't help but feel worried.
"Are you sure she can handle this?" she asked anxiously, only for Mick to give her a stern nod.
"Relax," he said with assurance. "Linda is one of the most reliable Imps I know. She's got this."
Inside the vent, Linda did her very best to live up to Mick's expectations… albeit with some difficulty. As she continued to crawl through the small space, trying to be as quiet as possible so she didn't alert anyone who might be listening, her biggest challenge seemed to be finding the right grate to look through. As it turned out, the layout of the vents wasn't as straightforward as she had hoped, in fact at some point, she even made a U-turn that she didn't intend.
Eventually, however, she found the grate she was looking for. Peeking through the tiny metal strips, she was happy to see a huge room filled with the hotel staff, along with none other than Prince Gaap himself!
"Yes!" Linda quietly cheered, feeling proud to have gotten this far. "Okay… now where is- Shit!"
Unfortunately, Linda found herself celebrating far too soon. After taking another scan of the room through the grate, she soon spotted Kanya sitting at a table that was too far away from the vent for Linda to reach her. What's worse, even if she snuck out of the vent and made her way over, the Hellhounds guarding her would sniff her out in a heartbeat. Taking all that into account, Linda quickly grimaced at how difficult her task had just become.
"Great!" she groaned, resisting the urge to bang her head against the vent. "Now, how am I-"
At that moment, Linda suddenly noticed a familiar pair of legs walking by the vent, tilting her head up, she couldn't help but smile as she saw Clara pacing by with a nervous look on her face. It may have been risky, but the moment she saw the former Noble, an idea popped into Linda's head.
"Pst! Clara," she uttered, raising her voice ever so slightly so she could be heard. "Clara!"
Hearing the sound of Linda's soft voice calling her by name, Clara immediately stopped in her tracks. Her ears twitching with curiosity, she quickly followed the sound towards the nearest wall until she eventually found herself leaning up against it and peering down at the vent at her feet.
"Hello?" she uttered, keeping her voice low so no one else could hear. "Who's there?"
Fearing that stress had gotten to her for a moment, Clara sighed in relief when the familiar voice actually answered her after a brief pause.
"Clara, it's me, Linda," the small Imp replied. "Princess Octavia's friend. We met earlier today."
Her eyes widened with surprise, Clara did recall an Imp sitting at the pool bar with said Goetia. However, her presence didn't occur without a fair amount of questions rushing through Clara's head.
"Octavia's Attendant?" She uttered. "What the fuck are you doing in the vent? Don't you know what's going on out there?"
"Trust me, I know full well," Linda retorted, the memory of what happened on the roof still fresh in her mind. "Look, I know this is weird but please, I need your help."
Needless to say, Clara was surprised to hear such a thing so out of the blue, even more so when she saw a small slip of paper being pushed out from the vent.
"I need you to give this letter to Kanya Snowdrop," Linda pleaded, her voice quiet yet desperate. "It's important."
Being careful to check her surroundings, Clara quickly snatched up the piece of paper before anyone noticed, unable to resist looking it over once it was in her possession.
"What is this?" she couldn't help but ask.
"I can't say," Linda replied regretfully. "But she needs to read it as soon as possible. Please, I'll do anything!"
Hearing the desperation in the little Imp's voice, Clara knew in an instant that the contents of this letter had to be of some significance, at least to Kanya. Hearing a brief pause, Linda hoped that she had made the right choice in giving the letter to her. It was risky, true, but out of all the Demons in that room, Clara was the only one that seemed trustworthy… at least she hoped she was. Hearing the Demon sigh in defeat, it appeared as though her gamble was paying off.
"Okay, I'll do it," she said, bringing a hidden smile to Linda's face. "Now, get out of here before someone sees you."
"R-right," Linda replied, not needing to be told twice as she scooted away from the grate. "Thank you."
With that said, the little Imp began crawling back the way she came, leaving Clara alone with her new task. As unsure as she was, seeing the miserable look on Kanya's face from her table was more than enough motivation for her to follow through with what she was asked. If this letter was from who she thought it was, then Kanya needed to get it to her as soon as possible… After all, she and her girlfriend weren't as subtle as they thought they were. But how to do it?
"Hey, Bella!" Clara called out, spotting a certain Bellhop as an idea popped into her head.
"Hmm?" the Succubus uttered, her anxiety briefly forgotten as she was called over by her coworker. "What is it, Clara?"
"Could I ask you a favour?"
Back in the hallway outside, Linda finally crawled her way out of the vent, greeted by the relieved faces of Mick and Crystal.
"Well?" Mick asked, grinning under his mask as Linda gave him a positive thumbs up in response. "Nicely done, Liddy!"
Hearing such praise from the Sinner, Linda couldn't help but beam in delight.
"So what do we do now?" Crystal asked, her voice sounding a little uncertain as Mick took off his jacket and began to unbutton his shirt.
"Now… we wait for the storm to come crashing through,"
Meanwhile, with a careful plan in mind and Bella's assistance, Clara wasted no time in following through with the task she had been given. Casually walking up to the table with a few drinking glasses and a large bottle of bourbon in hand, the two ladies were quick to make themselves known to the Hellhounds.
"Drink for the lady, boys?" Clara offered, holding up the bottle of booze. "Managed to find some of the good stuff stashed away in here."
"No one is to come near Miss Kanya," the Doberman Hellhound grunted with a stoic expression.
"Prince Gaap's orders," the Dalmatian added in the same tone.
Expecting such a response, Clara gave Bella an instructive nod, ushering her to step forward.
"Oh, come on, boys," she said, swaying her hips as she gave a sultry smile at the Doberman. "What's the harm in a little drinky-poo? Besides it seems to me like you two could use one yourselves. After all, we're in a VERY stressful situation. Makes me feel… so nervous."
At that moment, the stoic expressions on the Hellhounds immediately dropped.
"W-well, it HAS been a hard night," the Dalmatian stuttered.
"M-maybe ONE drink couldn't hurt," the Doberman added.
And just like that, the pair were putty in Bella's hands. She may have been a small lady, but even the largest of Hellbeasts couldn't resist this Succubus's charms. While Bella began pouring the two hounds a drink, Clara seized her moment to get closer to the Demon sitting at the table. However, she needed to be quick. The distraction may be working now, but given who she's dealing with, Clara guessed that she had about a minute at the most before Gaap came by to see how his daughter was doing.
"Hey," she whispered, frowning with pity as she saw just how red Kanya's eyes had gotten from crying. "How're you holding up?"
Unfortunately, Kanya could only scowl at that.
"How do you THINK I'm holding up!?" she snapped, wiping away a fresh tear from her cheek.
"Right, stupid question," Clara muttered, taking a mental note to slap herself for saying such a thing. "Well… I think I may have something that'll cheer you up."
Hearing that, Kanya could only glance at Clara quizzically as she slid the small slip of paper from her pocket across the table.
"I believe this is from a certain lady from the groovy 60s," she whispered, causing Kanya's eyes to go wide with surprise.
Before Kanya could say anything in response, however, Clara quickly slid her a glass of bourbon before she and Bella hurried away from the table before anyone else noticed, their task now completed. Watching the two of them quickly walk away, the young lady swiftly took the folded piece of paper and brought it close to her lap before slowly opening it. Upon reading the contents, she almost broke down crying once more.
My dearest Kanya,
Though we may be apart for now, please know that I won't allow this to stand. While I have my doubts about him, you and I have a mutual friend who's willing to help us and has a plan to bring us back together.
If you're willing to take the chance, I beg of you to run away with me from your father and his awful hotel. I don't know where we'd go, but as long as we're together, I don't care if our journey takes us to limbo itself. Please wait for me, my darling, and know that my heart still sings for you.
Forever yours,
Crystal.
Seeing her girlfriend's handwriting glistening on the page, the only tears Kanya could shed at that moment were those of joy and anticipation. Crystal wasn't lost to her after all, and what was more important, she was coming for her.
Little did Kanya know, the plan Crystal wrote about was already being set in motion.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
Before long, the clones Johnny had sent throughout the hotel began to group together one by one. After leading Valefar's daughters and their horde down the stairs of each floor, any time each clone encountered each other, they quickly merged back into a single individual with a single body slam, thus merging the pursuing groups as a result. Eventually, everyone made it to the ground floor and only Buzz, Johnny and a single clone were left to lead everyone to their destination as fast as their legs could carry them.
"Come to Mama, Handsome!" one of Valefar's daughters yelled.
"I wanna tear up that little imp and use him like a living dildo!" screamed another.
It was at that moment, Johnny's clone, Joseph's, eyes shrank in terror.
"Oh, FUCK THIS!" he snapped, quickly charging back into Johnny and disappearing from sight.
"Yikes!" Buzz commented. "Can't say I blame him though, those girls' offers are NOT getting any better!"
"Come on, Snake Man!" another daughter cried out as if to illustrate Buzz's words. "Let us show you how to REALLY drain the snake!
Needless to say, both Johnny and especially Buzz began to regret bringing this nightmare to the hotel.
"Goddamn it, Mick, where are you!?" Johnny screamed.
"I'M SORRY, OKAY!?" Buzz added. "COME ON, HELP US!"
Meanwhile, with his clothes soaked and tattered as he staggered his way down the stairs, Seth let out many a heavy breath as he finally made it to the ground floor.
"F-f-fucking bastards!" he yelled, shivering from both the cold and the rage he felt as he tried to recover from his nerve-racking escape from the now-dwindling chaos back up on the roof via a top-floor window. "Wait till I get my hands on-"
"GANGWAY!"
Moments later, the Duck Demon was unexpectedly knocked to the floor by an unfamiliar Imp accompanied by an odd-looking Sinner with a pompadour. Watching the two of them run further down the hall, Seth's anger only grew over experiencing such an act of disrespect.
"HEY!" he shouted after them. "Watch where you're going you filthy-"
"There they go!"
That was the last thing Seth heard as he was suddenly knocked to the floor and trampled beneath the feet of Valefar's daughters and their horde. By the time the dust settled, after nearly a solid minute of pure agony, the one-handed Duck lay crumpled and twitching on the floor with a great many footprints imprinted all over his face and body.
"Ugh… why ME!?"
Soon enough, Buzz and Johnny reached the particular corridor Mick had instructed them to head towards, though what would happen once they arrived, said Cat Demon had conveniently forgotten to mention since he was still a little pissed with them. The moment they hit too close, Crystal popped her head around the corner and opened her mouth.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!
The instant that echoing sonic shriek rang through their ears, Buzz, Johnny and everyone else instantly slapped their hands to their ears and fell to their knees in agony. Not only that, but every piece of glass around them, including any eyeglasses, began to crack under the power of the shriek. As it turned out, the magic and beauty of Crystal's singing was but a taste of what her true Demon ability was like.
"GAH! What is that!?"
"Make it stop! Make it STOP!"
The shriek may have only lasted a few short seconds, but it was enough to allow Crystal to grab Buzz and Johnny by the backs of their necks and pull them back around the corner with her before stuffing them both inside the nearby Janitor's closet and jumping in with them. Soon enough, Valefar's daughters and their horde quickly recovered.
"Hey," one of them yelled. "Where'd they go!?"
Seeing that their prey had completely vanished, the corridor was soon filled with the disappointed and/or angered groans of the horde… however, it was mere moments later that something else grabbed their attention.
"Ladies… a pleasure to meet you all,"
At those words, Mick stepped out from behind another corner, only his appearance was a lot different to what he had been wearing before. Where once was a fancy suit jacket and shirt was now nothing more than a simple cotton vest, and in place of his usual mask was a tiki replica he had snatched up from one of the nearby walls. Not only that, but he also appeared to have wrapped his tail a few times around his waist, making it appear to be a hairy-looking belt. Of course, once all Valefar's daughters had their attention taken, his disguise would take a sudden change…
RRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPP!
Within moments, Mick had grabbed the sides of his vest and tore it clean off, leaving his bare torso exposed for all to see.
"COME AND GET IT!" he screamed, immediately putting the entire horde into a drooling stupor.
Now, one might ask why Mick would bother with a disguise since he figured his normal look would have the same reaction due to his internet fame. The more obvious reason, would of course be to protect his sanity, but the most important one was because he still didn't want Octavia to be tied in any way to what was going to happen next. And if Mick was to accomplish his goal, he couldn't afford to make any mistakes that would get his secret crush in trouble.
As he had hoped, at the sight of the shirtless Sinner standing before them, all the daughters of Valefar went into an even wilder frenzy. With their faces turning red and drool starting to leak out of their mouths, it wasn't even a second before their eyes glowed a burning red and their tongues practically hissed through their sharp teeth.
"I WANT HIM!" they all screamed, once again pouncing for their prey.
"Oh shitballs!" Mick yelped, quickly dashing off as fast as his legs could carry him with the horde now hot on his metaphorical tail.
The moment every one of Mick's pursuers was gone, only then did Crystal feel safe enough to open the closet door.
"Phew…" the Mermaid Sinner sighed. "The plan seems to be going well. Well done, boys."
Of course, even with the praise, neither Buzz nor Johnny were happy about what they had just gone through in the slightest.
"Ugh… remind me never to piss Mick off again," Buzz groaned before falling flat on his face.
"Why bother? You're probably gonna anyway," Johnny grumbled, feeling just as exhausted. "Hope Mick can pull this off."
Hearing that, Crystal, couldn't help but sigh.
"Believe me, so do I."
The only other time Mick could remember running this fast was when Stella came running after him with a crossbow. Though in all honesty, the crossbow sounded a lot more appealing right about now! With the horde quickly catching up to him, he could practically feel the steam of their breath upon the nape of his neck. Thankfully, he didn't have nearly as far a distance to run as Buzz and Johnny did. Within moments, he saw the familiar pair of doors just ahead of him.
"NOW, LIDDY!"
Upon that command, Linda, while hiding around the corner, slammed her fist against the nearest light switch. Mere moments later, the entire corridor was engulfed in darkness, allowing Mick to make his move. The instant the lights went out, he quickly jumped as high as he could before digging his claws into the nearest wall, clambering up to the ceiling just above the doors the horde suddenly crashed into before the lights suddenly came back on.
CRASH!
Upon hearing that loud noise coming from outside, Gaap along with everyone else hiding with him jumped in fright.
"Woah!" the Goetia Prince yelped. "Uh… Margaret, babe? What the hell was that!?"
However, the Hotel Manager didn't even need to open her mouth before the answer to Gaap's question came in the form of a group of muffled voices coming from the other side of the doors.
"Oh, not again!" one voice exclaimed.
"Hey, wait!" another yelled. "There are men in there! I can smell them through the door!"
The moment he heard that, Gaap's eyes immediately shrank in fear.
"Oh… fuck,"
"Come on girls, break it down!" the first voice continued "I gotta have that man-meat!"
CLUNK!
After that, everyone gathered in that room awaited the inevitable when the doors were suddenly rammed into from the other side, the wood cracking with every force of impact. Not even the security measures seemed to be making a difference. Even the Hellhounds standing on either side of them started backing away due to the need for self-preservation.
"Robby… I'm scared," one of them whimpered with a canine whine.
"I know, man…" said the other as he held his bro tight. "But whatever happens, I'm gonna hold ya tight and never let you go!"
"I love you, man!"
And so became the Hellhound's famous last words when it finally happened.
SMASH!
All of a sudden, a strong, feminine hand burst through the wood of the door and reached for the lock, followed by another and another. And so, Margaret only had one thing to say.
"BREACH!"
With that horrified shriek, the doors were thrown open and the room was soon filled with terrified screams and giddy laughter as Valefar's daughters and their horde continued their sexually driven rampage. Alas, no matter how much they tried to resist, even the toughest of the Hellhounds were no match for their lust. Even Gaap himself was immediately reduced to a whimpering coward as he dragged Margaret under the nearest table with him in an attempt to hide. He may have been a self-proclaimed "Lord of the Ladies", but all this was too much even for him.
Meanwhile, a certain Sinner was thanking his lucky stars that his feline reflexes had managed to save him in the nick of time as he slowly lowered himself from the ceiling back to the floor, leaving claw marks etched into the wall all the way down. Once again he couldn't help but admit that sometimes it just pays to be a cat. At that moment, Linda came out of hiding herself and ran up to her friend.
"Are you alright?" she asked worriedly.
"Yeah, don't worry about me," Mick replied assuringly before he and Linda peered through the now-trashed doorway towards the madness inside. "Think I kinda cut that one a little too close though."
"Yeah," Linda agreed, cringing as she saw the riot/orgy going on in front of her. "So, what now?"
At that moment, Mick knelt down and gave Linda a gentle pat on the back as he relayed his next set of instructions.
"You get to the parking lot and help Johnny get his van prepped, everyone should be rendezvousing there by now," the Cat Demon said, pointing towards a particular hallway that led straight through to the lobby and the main entrance to the hotel. "And try not to get spotted, the less Demons who recognise you, the better."
"What about you?" Linda pointed out, not liking where Mick's mind was heading.
"I'm gonna have to go in there and grab Kanya while everyone is distracted," Mick answered with a sigh. "I'm partially responsible for Gaap finding out about her relationship, so…"
As much as she didn't like leaving Mick alone with this task, Linda knew that there was no changing Mick's mind when it was made up over something like this.
"Okay…" the Imp eventually relented. "Just be careful, please."
"Aren't I always?" Mick joked while smirking under his mask.
"Good luck."
After that, Linda quickly rushed down the hall, leaving Mick alone to complete his task, though looking back inside the ballroom, knew it wasn't going to be easy.
"It just couldn't be a quick snatch and grab, could it?" he sighed.
"Everyone back the fuck up!"
Alas, even though he held up the chair in front of him like a lion tamer to defend his front, Francois was unable to watch his back as another hand grabbed him from behind.
"Oh, Merde,"
"Whoooo!"
Alas, the head waiter became yet another victim of the horde, flailing about and screaming as he was pulled away by his tail. Of course, he wasn't the only one to suffer. No matter what area one would look at, the horde easily sniffed out any potential pieces of meat and flung themselves at them without remorse. And while all this was going on, Gaap chose to remain in hiding along with Margaret, despite how much he loved his hotel, his need to survive completely outweighed any affection he had for it. If push comes to shove, he may even need to use Margaret as a meat shield. Sure, she was an awesome lay, but Gaap had priorities!
Speaking of which, while her father continued to hide under a table like a coward, it didn't take long for the Hellhounds guarding his daughter to forgo their job in place of saving their own skin… not that it mattered much in the end since they were pounced on within a span of three seconds. As such, Kanya soon found herself trapped in one of the far corners of the room, where she, Clara and Bella were hiding behind an overturned table, the latter two having chosen to stick close to her out of survival instinct.
"The fuck are we going to do!?" Clara exclaimed, poking her head out briefly over the table to see the carnage.
"I'm always up for orgies but this is too much even for ME!" Bella added, feeling completely overwhelmed with the smell of lust in the air.
Kanya, however, couldn't even begin to comment on the situation at hand. Was THIS the plan Crystal had mentioned in her note? If so, then it was completely crazy! So crazy… it just might work.
"Psst! Kanya!"
Suddenly, as if on cue, a familiar voice whispered in Kanya's large ear as she felt a tap on her shoulder. Snapping her head around, she and the others gasped upon seeing the Cat Demon himself suddenly appear behind them.
"Mick!?" Kanya uttered, raising an eyebrow at the Sinner's choice of disguise. "Is that you?"
"You bet it is," Mick chuckled in response. "You ready to go? Crystal's waiting for you."
Hearing her girlfriend's name, Kanya almost tensed up as she gave the Sinner a confident nod. From the moment she received Crystal's letter, there was no need to even think about what she was going to do. As much as she loved her father, even Gaap had no right to keep Kanya away from her love, and if they had to run away to be together then so be it.
"Hey, uh… you mind if we tag along?" Bella asked, giving Mick a small tap on the shoulder to get his attention. "As much as I like a good fuck session, I don't think this is my scene anymore."
At first, Mick was going to give his immediate answer… However, the moment he looked at Clara, he hesitated. Though they didn't understand why, the three girls felt like he was giving the horned canine a look of suspicion, almost as if he were staring at a potential backstabber waiting to strike. Alas, the Cat Demon never gave them a chance to think about it.
"Yeah, sure," he said, almost too quickly. "The more the merrier."
After that, the Cat Demon quickly took the lead, choosing to get out of that particular conversation before it started. Given the situation, it was probably for the best that the confrontation be put on hold for now.
"Come on," Kanya instructed, cautiously following the direction of the Cat Demon. "Before we're spotted."
"Well… I never liked this job anyway," Clara commented with a sigh as she and Bella followed suit.
Before long, all four Demons crawled along the walls of the ballroom, diving behind an upturned piece of furniture now and then and narrowly avoiding the chaos happening around them. It may have felt like ages but soon enough, the exit was only a few yards away.
"Alright, almost there," Mick chuckled as he and the girls hid behind another table. "Final stretch and we're- OW!"
Suddenly, Mick was cut off by a hard thump to the head, courtesy of bumping head-first into an unexpected but familiar face hiding behind the same table.
"Johnny!?" he exclaimed, feeling the sudden urge to strangle the sheepish-looking Snake Demon for screwing things up. "The fuck are you doing here!? You're supposed to wait with the van!"
However, given the look in Johnny's eyes, his fellow Sinner knew instantly that something was amiss.
"I'm sorry, Mick," the Greaser whimpered, rubbing his sore head. "But we have a big ass problem!"
"What are you talking about!?" Kanya demanded, understandably confused by the Sinner's report.
BANG!
"Nobody fucking move!"
At that moment, the Swimsuit model's question was answered in the most dramatic way possible. Within minutes, the whole ballroom fell into an unsettling silence, with everyone suddenly stopping what they were doing to draw their attention to someone standing by the entrance. Much to the horror of both Mick and Kanya, said individual just so happened to be a certain Duck Demon looking completely worse for wear as he stomped into the room, holding Crystal close to him by holding a gun while raising his hook to her throat.
"Now… where the FUCK is Gaap!"
