Chapter 12: the glass slipper test
Outside of the Crazo manor Asmodus and Frizzaroli were sleeping due to searching each boy that fits the slipper and all were failures as Dohy stopped the carrage at the manor as they held the slipper as the doughy sinner woke up his dads.
Inside the house Moxxie and Millie saw them at the window as the two stepped out "He's here the king of Lust and his consort" said Millie "Who?" Asked Moxxie "Lord Asmodus he has the glass slipper come on" said Millie as they hurried to get the key in time. As down stairs Chaz and Crimson saw the carriage "Oh father, father he's here" said Crimson "Lord Asmodus and his husband consort" said Chaz as they tried to touch themselves up in a mirror but kept rudely shoving each other ready to attack as Rolondo put a end to that foolishness "Remember boys this is your last chance dont fail me" he said as he opened the door revealing Dohy blowing the trumpet.
"Announcing his imperial grace Lord Asmodus the prince of Lust" he said as the poor sin woke up the same with Frizzaroli in a dace as the two walked in "Your honor welcome to our humble home" said Rolondo "*Yawning* yeah quite so glad me and my husband are here" said the imp. 'Quite so" said Asmodus tiredly. Meanwhile Moxxie and Mille saw them by the table leg as they hid under a dresser "Lord Asmodus and Consort Frizzaroli may I introduced my sons Chaz and Crimson" he said as they bowed "Your grace" said Chaz but gave a lustful look to Frizzaroli as he shivered at that look "Lord Asmodus will read a royal procolomation" said Dohy as the rooster sin read from a huge piece of paper as he read Moxxie and Millie snuck to the next table near Rolondos hand as Dohy showed the Glass slipper…as the two males argued.
"Hay! Thats my slipper!" Said Crimson "As if shrimp that is my slipper" said Chaz as the two argued as Moxxie frowned as he peeked near a cup "No no no that is Blitzos slipper!" He wanted to yell but Millie quickly sushed him as Dohy yelped as he got out of the way as the loan shark and imp started to hiss and argue "Boys mind your manners" said Rolondo in a tone that shut the two up as they stopped arguing "A thousands pardons your grace please continue" the infestor said as Asmodus nodded as he continued to read as Millie and Moxxie peeked on top of a cup as Millie whispered to Moxxie pointing at Rolondos pocket where the key is as she whispered some more telling Moxxie the plan on how to get the key as she got out of the cup first as Moxxie followed behind as they snuck by the clicking sound of the investors nails who was focused annoyed at the long speech Asmodus was doing as Moxxie helped Millie into the pocket carefully. Once in Millie lifted the key to Moxxie. Rolondo looking upstairs knowing well that Blitzo was carefully locked away to make sure he is never known as the imp dancer smirked darkly as he was starting to slip his hand into his pocket which Moxxie noticed and gestured to Millie to hide as she got into the pocket.
Once in the pocket Millie avoided being touched by Rolondo as he held the key. And then dropped back into the pocket as it bonked Millie on the head as she rubbed it annoyed as he patted the pocket assured the key was safe as the key hit Millie twice as she shook off the dizziness as Asmodus finished reading and sat on a chair pushed up by Dohy as Frizzaroli…mastered the art of sleeping while standing snored. "You two must be quite fatigued your grace you and your consort may I offer you both some tea?" He asked as he grabbed the cup that Moxxie was hiding in as he panicked as he started to pour the tea close to his belly "Tea? *No no thank you we must proceed with the fitting" said Asmodus getting up off the chair as Rolondo sighed as he put the tea cup and tea pot back as Moxxie sighed at how close that was of getting poured with hot tea.
"Of course Chaz?" Asked Rolondo as the loan shark smirked and sat on the chair as Dohy placed the glass slipper on his foot "Hah! There you see I knew it was my shoe its exactly my size" he said holding up his foot where the slipper was on…however it wasnt at all fully on as his foot was too big "See now let me see the prince so we can get married" said Chaz as the others gasped as Frizzaroli and Dohy shared a look and nodded as the imp rolled up his sleeves "Come on Dohy lets get that shoe on as Doughy pounded on the shoe to make it fit as Millie managed to get the key out of Rolondos pocket "Hay pops can you…" asked Chaz "Quiet my dear, we must disturb his grace, young man are you sure you're trying on the right hand?" He asked "Trying to sir" said Frizzaroli annoyed at the denial that this loan shark had a fat foot.
While Moxxie tried to help millie out with the key using his tail on the teapot spout he accidently poured hot tea on his bum as he yelped as he and millie fell with a key, luckily they were not seen as they slid to the wall and crashed "Come on we need to hurry up the stairs" said millie as they hurried up to the stairs teaming up to climb up with the key as Moxxie panted as they pressed on up.
Back in the living room Chaz kept hitting Dohy and Frizzarli as they tried to get the shoe on the loan sharks foot but was hitting Frizzaroli head on the piano "Why cant you two just holed still for a minute" said Chaz annoyed "Sorry me and papa are trying" said Dohy as his eyes seemed to have a yander look "We can chop off some of your foot to make it fit, it will ruin the nice glass but it should fit" said Dohy…eh Kevin taking over as Chaz yelped "Kevin we are not cutting off anyones foot!" said Frizzaroli as he was smacked one more on the piano as the noise woke Asmodus up "I'm awake and enough! Kevin we are not cutting off any toes and the next young gentlemen" said Asmodus
Back with Moxxie and Millie they made it to the top of the stairs as they heard that Crimsions turn was next "You hear that Mox?" Asked Millie as Moxxie nodded "Yeah I did" said Moxxie "Come on we need to hurry" said Millie as they ran to the door that lead to Blitzos room as they slipped under the door along with the key "Come on hurry" said Millie as she pointed up the stairs as Moxxie saw how tall it was and passed out but millie woke him up "Come on we can make it now come on we got to save Blitzo" she said as the two hurried upstairs to save the imp.
In his room Blitzo kept crying as he got on his knees upset at Rolondos cruelty until he heard noises from Moxxie as he looked through the keyhole and saw Moxxie and Millie who got the key coming up "Were coming Blitz, we will get you out" said Millie "you two got the how did you ever…" started Blitzo however the two tiny imp borrowers saw a shadow as Moxxie on reaction pushed Millie out of the way as he got trapped in a cage by Vaggasso along with the key! "*Gasping* Assago! Let him go!" Said Blitzo "Forget it Chico, this imp embarrassed me and I make sure none of these filfthy borrowers bother the manor, and with the key in its little claws I know he is trying to help you get free to stop Master Rolondos plan to stop Primo Stolas marriage to the maiden with the glass slipper, but I wont let that happen" said Vassago as Blitzo was surprised knowing that Primo means cousion…meaning Vassago was Stolas cousion!
Millie got into action biting into the parrots ankle "Let him go! I had enough of you!" Yelled Millie as the parrot yelped in pain letting go of the cage freeing moxxie but the poor male impling was trapped again as the other borrowers and chibi cherubs and more saw what was going as Assago chuckled cruely as they had enough and got on the attack using tools and items to fight back against Assago but the red parrot was larger and was able to repell pushing them back "It its hopeless you little borrowers and soon…" he started however was interrupted when Charlie, Vaggie, Collin, Kennie, Cletus, Razzle, Dazzle, Hiusk, Jessie, Verkrosia and Marcus dropped pots, pans cups and plates and more as they broke and distracted Assago annoying the parrot as he swipped at them to try to catch them as Moxxie got free and hurried with the key but Assago saw that and put him in the cage as Blitzo watched on the other side.
"Loona *Razzle, Husk and Marcus flew close* that's it Loona, quick get Loona, Get Loona!" He asked as the three nodded as they asked Verkrosia and Collin to follow them as they hurried outside to the barn where Loona was resting "Wake up! Get up get up!" They yelled to wake her up as she was napping as Sunset noticed that Blitzo was in troubled and neighed at Loona as she woke with a start as she saw she was ambushed by chibi cherubs and flying borrower chibis to her surprise "what is going on!" She yelled confused.
Back in the living room it was crimsons turn as Dohy tried to fit the slipper, and while it was fit for a imp, Crimsons hoofs were…not dainty and built for stealth as the dough like sinner tires to fit the shoe "Oh of all the dumb stupid idiot *Bonks does head* I will do it myself! Get away from me you pile of clay!" He demanded pushing Doghy away "I'll make it fit myself" he said as he pushes and shoves the glass slipper until it fits "Hah there" he said as he shows his bent foot forced into the slipper "It fits" said Rolodno "It fits?" Asked Asmodus however due to how big his hoof was the slipper was sent flying as Asmodus and Dohy gasped as they ran but bumped into each other until Asmodus with amazing flying leaping skills caught by his finger as Frizzaroli sighed in relief along with Ozzie "Your grace I am dreadfully sorry, it wont happen again" said Rolondo inside mad how the slipper wont fit his sons. "Precisely sir" said Asmodus.
Outside Loona was wide awake and told what was going on as she followed Husk, Razzle, Marcus, Verkrosia and Collin as she tried to jump the door but over shot as she got stuck as they helped her through the door as she hurried up the stairs and stopped as she looked around until she saw Vassago having Moxxie in the cage as she growled harshly as Assago panicked "Nice Doggie, nice" he said but the hellhound wasnt having it as she snapped at him and swipped at the parrot who screamed as he backed up near the ledge of a window "Back, stay back" he yelled but Loona took another swipe as her claw snagged on what looks like a necklace with a odd mud green stone as he fell back as the necklace snapped out the window as he fell to the ground luckily in a hay bale but was humiliated…and clear minded?
Loona removed the cage as Moxxie held the key tightly as Millie tried to confront him "Come on Mox get up" she asked gently but Moxxie hugged the key tight "No no no" he said "Its ok let go of the key so we can give it to blitzo" said Millie as Moxxie loosened his grip and saw it was all ok as Millie grabbed the key and slid it under the door for Blitzo to take
Authors note: well karma prevented the spoiled step brothers from getting the shoe on them and with friendships saved Blitzo so he has the chance.
Next chapter is the climax as Blitzo even though Rolondo tries managed to use the slipper left behind to prove he was the one Stolas danced with for a happily ever after.
