Chapter 2: The Mission Starts

After the conversation between Andy and the Elder named Galen, Andy began to think deeply. He had accepted this mission, and failure was not an option. He remembered the day he died, a day he had already made peace with, accepting his fate. But then, an angel appeared to him—an Elder named Lucas, the Angel of Destiny. Together, they offered him a chance to continue his work and do good. They told him he would return as a magical being—a Grimm (like in the Grimm series). He would have the abilities and gifts of the first of his kind, inherited from his ancestors. With that knowledge, Andy began his training. Two years after his death, Andy briefly returned to the mortal world. In his short time there, his mission was clear: find, track, or protect people with special destinies until a Whitelighter could take over. Now, he knew he would remain in this world for a long time.

When Andy opened his eyes, he knew he was back in the world he once belonged to. The feeling was overwhelming, but his mind was clear. His body had changed, infused with magical abilities that felt foreign to him, yet instinctively known. He could feel the weight of his new powers—the ability to see the unseen, track magic across realms, and protect the innocent. He was told that his full abilities would resurface, but he needed to learn and understand how they worked. With conviction, his mind told him to find Prue—the woman he truly loved.

His mission was clear: find Prue Halliwell.

The search was not easy. For months, Andy scoured every corner of the magical world, using his new powers to trace faint magical signatures, hoping to find the woman he once loved. The Elders helped as much as they could, but their power was limited. They could sense her absence, but they couldn't pinpoint her exact location. Then one day, a trace of familiar energy was detected by Andy in an unknown place in the mortal world. He followed the trail.

Finally, after weeks of fruitless searching, a lead came through. A powerful demon had been seen in a remote area. The demon appeared human, but when Andy saw its true form through his powers, he didn't hesitate. He followed the trail left by the demon, praying it would lead him to Prue.

The trail led Andy to an ancient, crumbling fortress hidden deep in the mountains. The air was thick with dark magic, the kind that made Andy's blood run cold. He knew he was close.

Inside, he found her.

Prue Halliwell, the strong and determined witch, lay unconscious, chained to an altar in the center of a dimly lit chamber. Her once fiery spirit had been dimmed, her energy drained by the demon who had captured her.

Andy rushed to her side, his heart racing. The sight of her—so vulnerable, so broken—was almost too much to bear. He gently lifted her, brushing his hand against her cheek. But Prue didn't stir until Andy used his powers to heal her. Within minutes, her pale face regained its color, and her scars healed one by one. Andy also sent some of his own energy to her, and soon she opened her eyes.

"What? Am I dead? Andy, is that you? If you're here, it means I'm dead, right?"

Andy looked at her, reassuring her, "You're not dead. I was sent by the Elders to find and rescue you. I've been searching for you for months." He began removing her shackles as he continued healing her. "We need to leave before that demon comes back."

Prue could feel her energy returning, though she knew it would take time for a full recovery. She was just relieved to be free of her captor and hopeful she would return home soon.

But then, the demon—a tall, menacing figure cloaked in shadows—stepped from the darkness, a twisted grin spreading across his face.

"You're not going anywhere, witch, and neither are you, mortal," the demon sneered. "She is my collection now."

Andy's hand curled into a fist. "Not for long," he muttered, setting Prue down. "Stay here. I'll deal with this bastard."

The battle that followed was intense. Andy fought with everything he had, his newfound powers fueling his every move. But just as victory seemed within his grasp, something shifted in the air. Prue's energy began to pulse erratically, and the magic surrounding her flared up wildly. (This is when Paige and Piper meet and restore the Power of Three.) As the power became erratic, Prue, hyperventilating, saw Andy struggling against the demon. Desperate to help, she waved her hand, releasing a blast of energy that threw the demon across the room.

Suddenly, another surge of power enveloped them both. Andy tried to hold on, but the force was too great. Before he could react, a portal opened, swallowing them both. The world around them collapsed, and they were plunged into darkness.

When Andy regained consciousness, he found himself in a world that was eerily familiar, yet completely different. It was as though he had stepped into a mirror—everything was the same, but there was one crucial difference: no one was here. There were no people, no magical beings, not even the faintest sign of life. It was a world... empty.

Prue was still in his arms, her body warm, but her eyes closed in peaceful slumber. She wasn't dead. She was alive, but something had happened during their battle—something that had pulled them both into this strange dimension.

Andy tried to call out, but his voice was swallowed by the oppressive silence. He looked around, searching for any sign of life, any clue as to where they were, or how to escape.

Then, in the distance, he saw something—a flicker of movement. A shadow, perhaps. He wasn't sure, but something was calling him. He had no choice but to follow it.

"Prue," he whispered, holding her tightly. "Hold on. We're going to find our way out of here."

But the path ahead was uncertain. And as Andy ventured further into this twisted, empty world, he couldn't shake the feeling that it was no coincidence they had ended up here.

Meanwhile, in Galen's place, he watched everything unfold and murmured, "What will happen now?"

A balance of magic had shifted. A new Power of Three had been born, and its ripple effects had thrown Prue and Andy into a world where no one else existed. The question remained: Could they find their way back? Or would they be trapped forever, lost in the forgotten world?
