Chapter 12: Secrets Unraveled

Victor Bennett's heart was heavy as he made his way back to San Francisco, his three grandchildren in tow. Adrianna, Andrea, and Andrew, still in a state of shock from their parents' sudden disappearance, had fallen into a peaceful sleep during the drive. Hannah, an old friend of Prue and Andy's, had accompanied him, watching over the children as they made their journey. Victor had only a single thought on his mind—how he could keep his promise to Prue, and protect these children from the dangers that loomed over them.

It had been a long and grueling journey, but the thought of finally being home gave Victor some sense of relief. They pulled up in front of his apartment building, and Victor's thoughts were already on the task at hand. He needed to speak with Patricia Halliwell, and quickly.

Victor made the phone call as soon as he stepped through the door, dialing Patricia's number. He had barely said a word before Patricia's familiar voice answered, her tone warm but busy.

"Patricia Halliwell," she said, pausing in her duties. "What's going on, Victor?"

"Patty," Victor replied, his voice serious. "I need you to come to my place, right away. It's important. I'll explain everything when you get here. Just trust me."

Patricia hesitated for a moment. "What's happened? Is everything okay?"

"I can't explain over the phone. Just come quickly, please."

After a brief pause, Patricia agreed, knowing that Victor rarely called for anything less than urgent. "I'm on my way," she said.

A short while later, Patricia arrived at Victor's apartment. As soon as she walked in, she was immediately struck by the sight of three sleeping children lying on the couch. Her eyes widened in surprise as she noticed that the children were not only unfamiliar but eerily familiar, in a way she couldn't place.

"Victor?" Patricia called softly, her concern growing. "Who are these children?"

Victor led her to the kitchen table, where they could talk in private. He motioned for her to sit, and as she did, he pulled out a chair across from her, taking a seat himself. His expression was somber, and Patricia could sense the weight of what he was about to reveal.

Patricia noticed the unease in Victor's demeanor, and her instincts told her that this was not just a normal family matter. "Victor, what is this all about?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

Victor took a deep breath, knowing that this conversation would change everything. He had to ask Patricia to keep a secret, something that would weigh heavily on both of them. "Patty," he began, "what I'm about to tell you has to stay between us, at least for now. Please promise me you'll keep it a secret from Piper, Phoebe, and the rest of the family."

Patricia's brow furrowed in confusion, but she nodded slowly. "I promise. But you need to tell me what's going on."

Victor explained how he had gone to North Carolina years ago, just before Chris was born. It was during a business trip, and it was there that he accidentally ran into Prue—and learned the truth of what had happened to her.

He told Patricia the truth about Prue's disappearance, how she had been kidnapped and rescued by Andy, and how the Elders had forbidden them from reconnecting with the family. "They threatened to take Adrianna if they did anything to reveal the truth,"or they insist of coming back, Victor continued, his voice thick with emotion. "Prue made me promise to keep it a secret, specially to Piper and Phoebe,

Patty look at Victor and said , so the elders lied to me and mom, they said that Prue is in limbo, but in true she did not die that time, as her eyes welled with tears as she processed the words. She had never imagined that Prue, the daughter she had lost, could have suffered so much. "My poor Prue," she whispered, her voice breaking. "She must have suffered so much, and now... now she's missing again, with Andy, leaving these children behind. What should we do?"

Victor took Patricia's hand in his, trying to comfort her. "Patty, we have to keep this quiet. I am still not familiar about your wiccan rule and ways but If we tell anyone, there's a chance the Elders will take the children. And we don't know what else could happen. I made a promise to Prue, and I need you to honor it with me."

Patricia wiped away a tear, looking at Victor with a mixture of sorrow and resolve. "I'll keep it a secret for now, Victor. But we can't let this go on forever. We need to find a way to help them, to bring Prue and Andy back."

Victor nodded, grateful for Patricia's support. "I'll call my mother to let her know I'm here, and I'll explain everything to her. But for now, we need to keep this between us. The children are safe with me, and we need to protect them until we have more answers."

Patricia stood and embraced Victor, her resolve firm. "We'll figure this out, Victor. We'll make sure the kids are safe. For Prue, for all of them."

Meanwhile, in an Unknown Plane

Prue and Andy awoke in an unfamiliar space. It was dark, and the air felt heavy with an unsettling energy. As their eyes adjusted to the darkness, they both realized they were not in any familiar place—this wasn't the world they knew.

Prue's heart clenched as she thought of their children. "Andy, where are we?" she whispered, her voice shaky with worry. "Why are we back here?"

Andy, his face grim, took her hand. "I don't know, Prue. But we need to find a way out of here. We can't let anything happen to our children. We have to get back to them."

Prue's eyes filled with tears. "I'm scared, Andy. What if something happens to us, and the elders will come after our children? What if they hurt them because of us?"

Andy squeezed her hand, trying to offer reassurance, but deep down, he shared her fear. They were trapped, and they didn't know why. But one thing was certain—they had to find a way to return to their family.

Meanwhile, Back at the Halliwell Manor

Paige stood in the Manor, her mind racing with the revelation she had just encountered. The Triad, the very enemies they thought were vanquished years ago, were alive or back and asking how did they returned? —and they were after the children. She couldn't shake the feeling that something darker was at play, something far more dangerous than they had anticipated.

"Paige?" Phoebe's voice broke through her thoughts. "Are you okay?"

Paige turned to face her sister, her expression tense. "The Triad's back, Phoebe. And I think they're after the kids. I saw a child orb—black energy. It's a darklighter. They're breeding them to have more power. We need to stop them before it's too late." its like they doing the same thing in the past, like what they did to Billie's sister, they planning to corrupt them for evil,

As Paige continued to explain, she felt a sudden, eerie sensation. She tried to orb away to save Billie, but her powers were blocked. Something, or someone, was preventing her from using her powers. Panic bubbled up inside her.

"Paige, what's going on?" Phoebe asked, concern written across her face.

"I can't orb. It's like someone is keeping me from getting to Billie."

Elsewhere, in the Upper Plane

The peace of the Upper Plane was shattered as a hooded figure appeared, his presence sending a chill through the air. With a wave of his hand, the man, none other than Gideon, unleashed an attack, striking down the Whitelighters who were present.

The Elders were caught off guard, their attempts to defend themselves futile against the onslaught. Gideon's sinister grin spread across his face as he continued his attack.

Before the last of the Elders could react, Galen—a Elder with mysterious allegiances—orbited in, closing the Upper Plane off to the rest of the world. With one final movement, he sealed the gates, leaving only chaos and destruction behind.

Gideon, now smirking darkly, stood victorious. The Upper Plane had fallen, and he was just getting started.
