Regarding the previous chapter, it wasn't easy for Ruby to keep a secret from everyone. However Terumi is the kind of threat that you cannot take any chances with. Though Yang and Ragna knowing that Terumi is in Atlas makes things a bit easier. It still complicates things.

As for the questions of the reactions to Jin going behind everyone's backs, no spoilers and no hints. But I do know how it will play out in the story.

Chapter 98 The New Norm

(The Ace-Ops Meeting Room)

Ruby: A couple of weeks have passed since Jubei told me, Yang, and Ragna about the situation regarding Terumi and Nu. To be completely honest, a part of me felt guilty for keeping secrets from everyone. Especially since it hasn't been that long that we all found out that there was so much that Professor Ozpin kept from us. Though I still stand by my decisions. Both to learn what else he was hiding from us and me lying and keeping secrets from General Ironwood. Though I do admit that there were times when I ask myself what made me different. Professor Ozpin went above and beyond with the secrets. But when I was in his position I did the same thing. I didn't spend too time thinking about it and I pushed those worries out of my mind. But if I'd have known what it would all eventually lead to. Then I would have at least been prepared for the backlash. Though we wouldn't have to deal with it for quite a while. Besides, a good portion of our time was spent getting used to our new lives as Huntsmen and Huntresses.

"Alright everyone, I'm glad to see that all of you are getting used to your new responsibilities. The reason I've gathered you all here is to touch base for our immediate plans and operations. Think of it as a refresher to help you settle into the new norm of Atlas." Clover told the Ace-Ops and the other teams before he continued

"For starters as all of you know, the General will be focusing his time and attention managing the Amity Project along with his regular duties as a Councilor. As such it's going to be up to us to keep things operating smoothly." Clover said before Ren spoke

"What will that fully entail?" Ren asked Clover

"I'm glad you asked, what many of you will be doing is make sure crucial supplies for the Amity Project are delivered without any problems. Which is to be expected since contributions to the Amity Project will be our top priority. Though there will be more to your missions than just protecting supplies. On top of your usual missions, you will be given specified missions to protect the City of Mantle. The General is aware of the fact that diverting resources is leaving Mantle vulnerable. Which is why the people of Mantle needs to be protected." Clover answered before he turned his gaze towards Jin

"Though for some of you, there will be more assigned missions than others. In your case Jin, you will be consistently assigned missions that will generally involve the public. Since you're the Hero of Vale and Mistral. Having it be known that you're here protecting the people can do a lot for public spirits and easing the tension. That along with your training will keep you very busy for a while. I hope for your sake that you're up for it Jin." Clover told Jin

"I am." Jin bluntly responded causing Clover to remember his meeting with Ironwood and Winter

(Several days ago in General Ironwood's Office)

"Sir, I'm not the kind of person to second guess your decisions. But a lot of people will find it questionable that your giving Jin the title of Major. I admit he has incredible skills and I would vouch for the decision for him to be the Hero of Atlas. However, the military rank of Major will raise a lot of concerns." Winter told General Ironwood

"I trust your judgment as well General, but I admit that this will raise a lot of concerns." Clover said voicing his thoughts and agreeing with Winter

"I understand where you two are coming from. However, there is a good reason that Jin holds both title. Certain facts and details have come to light and as a result I felt that it was needed to grant Jin the rank and the additional title. Besides I think this can be a good opportunity." General Ironwood told the two before he continued

"For someone so young, Jin is exceptionally skilled and has proved himself to be worthy of the role of Huntsman. I have a feeling that he will go far as a Huntsman, especially if he chooses to work in the military. Which means he will need as much guidance as possible. For obvious reasons I have my hands full. But you may be able to take on the role of mentor for him Winter." General Ironwood suggested to Winter

"Sir, I'm honored that you think highly of me. But surely you would be more suited to mentor Jin. Especially with your wealth of knowledge and experience. You have been an incredible mentor to me and I have no doubt that you'll do the same for Jin. Besides, I already have plans to mentor Weiss. She needs my guidance and I need to nurture her talents." Winter responded the General

"I understand Winter, but I wouldn't suggest you for this lightly. You have made exceptional accomplishments in the military and I know that your growth will continue in the future. I have a feeling that in time, you will be in a position of leadership and sooner or later you'll find yourself mentoring multiple people. Still, I do understand that this is a lot to ask of you, so just take some time to think about it. I won't force this on you." General Ironwood answered before speaking further

"As for why I won't mentor him myself. I have my hands full with my current set of responsibilities and the Amity project. Not to mention the worrying situation regarding Tenjo and the weapon Take-Mikazuchi. Besides, with everything going on, there is no guarantee that I will still be alive." General Ironwood answered

(Present Time)

"Speaking of public figures, there have been some specific instructions for you Ragna. For starters, even though you're an official Huntsman. You won't be participating in missions as much as your friends. Due to your infamy as the Beast of Remnant, if people see you here in Atlas. Then it will no doubt cause a panic in the Kingdom and I don't need to explain what that will entail." Clover explained to Ragna

"That's fine, I need to be here where I can protect my family anyways." Ragna responded

"You misunderstand, you'll still be participating in missions. You just won't participate in as many missions by comparison. What the majority of your missions will entail will ultimately be in isolated locations, preferably away from the public. If you do end up participating in missions. Your family will be protected by the Atlas military. You will also be undergoing training to help you prepare for future threats and hone your skills further." Clover explained further to Ragna before he started to address everyone else

"All of you will take on missions, but since everything has changed. You need to get used to your new normal. Aside from missions involving the Amity Project. You will also be expected to protect Mantle and Atlas. You won't just be limited to fighting Grimm and Bandits. You'll find yourself doing all kinds of request. I know it seems like minor stuff, but you'll see that the people will be happy to know that someone around to help." Clover explained before Jin and Jaune remembered a mission they did together

(A few days ago in the city of Mantle)

Ever since they earned their license to become Huntsman, Jaune and Jin were prepared to take on any kind of missions. Though there was a great deal of tension in the air and silence between the two. They didn't spend any time talking to each other and the reason is clear. Jin didn't like the fact that Ruby lied to General Ironwood and Jaune essentially told him to trust Ruby and give her more time. It wasn't long before Jaune heard of the argument between Jin and team RWBY. Jaune understands exactly where Jin is coming from, but he also understands Ruby's decisions as well. Jaune wants to talk to Jin to try to mend things. But the problem is that at the core of it, he doesn't know what to say. Fortunately, this current mission isn't too complicated. Though it wasn't what either of them were expecting. Since it will involve one of them serving as a crossing guard for the kids. While the other serve as a body guard.

"You're the crossing guard Jaune." Jin stated to Jaune in tone that was a statement instead of a suggestion

"But surely you can . . . ." Jaune responded before he saw the dreaded icy glare causing him to grab the crossing guard equipment and proceeded to instruct the kids to cross the street. As this was happening the many nearby mothers were watching the two with a great deal of joy. Before the kids fully crossed the street, Jin looked around and noticed several Sabyr Grimm coming towards them.

"Jaune, several Grimm are coming, one directly not far behind you. I have the other two." Jin said before he summoned his sword and quickly slashed at the two upcoming Grimm in a blinding speed. After Jin dealt with the Grimm, Jaune threw his shield at the ground and it ricochet to the third Grimm and managed to hit it in the face successfully stunning it. After it was stunned, Jaune used his sword to make short work of the Grimm. The work of the two blondes amazed the children and especially the mothers.

"I'm glad to see that none of you ran off in a panic. Now everyone please continue to stay in a single file and continue to cross the street. Me and Jin will keep you all safe." Jaune instructed the kids while one of the mothers presented Jaune with a freshly made casserole.

"It's so nice to have a couple of strong, capable, and handsome young men taking an interest in our well-being. Please take this casserole as a show of our appreciation." One of the mothers told Jaune as she gave him the casserole.

"Um thank you, but you don't have to give us anything. It's our pleasure to assist you in any way we can." Jaune nervously told the mother

"We insist, it is our deep and immense pleasure to help you two in any way we can. Also if you want to confide in any of us. Either o you are welcomed to come at any time." One of the mother's said with the other mom's posing and giving winks at both Jin and Jaune.

"We're already spoken for." Jaune nervously said with the mother getting even closer

"That's fine, after all there is nothing wrong with us becoming friends. Very good and very close friends." The mother said in a flirtatious tone making Jaune nervous and Jin being cautious as another one of the moms getting closer to him. Unknown to the both of them, Mai and Makoto were nearby while Makoto herself was recording the whole thing with her scroll in a sadistic glee.

"You're not going to let either of them live this down are you?" Mai asked in a teasing tone

"Nope." Makoto responded

(The Ace-Ops Meeting Room)

"Now aside from doing your missions, you are all welcomed to spend your time however you see fit. Whatever helps you take the edge off and gets you threw the day. Though something you need to keep in mind. Since all of you are now Huntsman, it's important for you all to better and improve your abilities. It's not just Ragna and Jin that has to do this. Even though us Ace-Ops will be busy with our own responsibilities. Rest assured that we will be more than happy to help train all of you." Clover explained before he spoke further

"Also keep in mind, even though you'll be dealing with the Ace-Ops on a regular basis. As you participate in missions you will also be working with those in the Hunter's initiative. They are Huntsmen in name but until they gain their license they have very limited authority. So all of you will have authority that overrides them in the field. Make no mistake, I believe they are all capable and they can help with your training along with the Ace-Ops. School is over, only you can decide what kind of Huntsmen you want to be." Clover told everyone

(Moments later)

"Never miss a beat, never miss a beat. Excuse me." Neon said as she skated past Bang and Flint fighting against each other.

"Come on kitty cat, surely you can be faster than that. Unless you ran out of energy the moment you ran your mouth." Neon said taunting Tao as she was being chased with Tao being unable to keep up with her

"Meow, when I get my hands on you. I'm going to slash you down into little pretty colorful ribbons." Tao said while chasing Neon which led to them being near Amane fighting against Ivori

"Tao, it's obvious that she can match your speed. So it will be highly recommended if you try a different approach. Otherwise, you will only tire each other out." Amane said as he launched his sash to wrap his sash around the whip and limited Ivori's movements. As this happened, Tao continued to chase Neon to where Bullet and Kobalt fighting each other.

"Hey Bullet, can you help meow catch up to Rainbow Cat meow?" Tao asked

"I got my hands full fighting this guy, you're going to have to figure something out until one of us can help." Bullet said as she blocked one of Kobalt's punches before countering with an attack of her own.

Neon continued to be chased by Tao for several more minutes until she noticed something. What Neon noticed is that Bang had used his semblance to attack Flynt while he used his semblance in an intense speed and successfully knocked him out. Amane used his impressive reflexes and proceeded to best Ivori. Then last but not least, Bullet was able to overpower Kobalt and knocked him out. It wasn't long before Neon noticed that she was surrounded and eagerly looked for a way to escape. However, she noticed that Tao was nowhere to be seen and before Neon could be prepared. Tao leaped on top of Neon from above. The moment Tao brandished her weapon claws with a grin. Neon realized what was about to come next, evident by the look of pure horror on her face.

"WAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Neon yelled as she was getting furiously scratched by Tao

(Moments Later)

"Wow, you guys are so cool. I know its only been a few months since the Vytal tournament but you all have improved so much." Neon happily said despite being covered in numerous claw marks courtesy of Tao.

"We appreciate your words of praise, however don't be quick to sell yourselves short. I have noticed that each of you have displayed incredible skills in your own right. I predict that team FNKI will make great contributions to the Hunter's Initiative." Bang said giving the team commendable praise

"Thanks, I'm just glad that we all managed to survive what happened at Beacon. Especially that nasty situation with Ragna. Wherever he is, let's hope he doesn't bring that power here to Atlas. There's enough people who are afraid of things that're going on." Flynt said unknowing causing team BLST to have a brief feeling of guilt with the knowledge that Ragna is in Atlas and their all keeping it a secret.

"But enough of that worrying stuff, that sparring session had gave us an appetite. Wanna have some food with us?" Flynt asked

"Meow, yummy food after a sparring match is always so yummy. I will take you up on that offer." Tao excitedly said to Flynt

"You guys go on ahead, I have to meet up with Ruby for a mission we're doing together." Amane told the group

"I appreciate the offer, but I must respectfully decline as well. Me and Bullet have to go on a relief mission to Argus. It's nothing major, we're merely ensuring the delivery of supplies and combing the area for any remaining Grimm." Bang briefly explained to Flynt

"Meow, well that means more food for Tao!" Tao excitedly said

"Hate to burst your bubble Tao, but you're on standby duty today. Which means a mission will be coming in for you real soon. So until then you'll be training in the meantime." Bullet told Tao much to her chagrin and the amusement of team FNKI

"Well, I suppose it can't be help next time then." Flynt told the team

"Definitely, this time with all of us." Bang said before Neon spoke up

"At least you guys will be doing some good work and helping people. The people of Argus really do need the help. It's crazy how that city was attacked, if I remember the details, it was by raining swords. When I saw the news report, it was honestly quite scary. Who or what could have done that?" Neon asked causing everyone to have a concerned look but for different reasons.

(The Road to Amity)

Once Amane met up with Ruby, the two of them were caught up on the mission details. The current mission will be a simple supply run. Making sure they were safely delivered to Amity. It has also been made clear that Amane and Ruby will not be going alone. Qrow, Clover, and Polly will also be accompanying them for added security. Especially since there are more supplies than usual this time. Under most circumstances, the supplies would be flown in. However, doing so would use up dust that would be better saved for the launch of Amity Arena. During the road trip, Polly spent time talking to Ruby with a good deal of energy matching Penny's.

The conversation between Ruby and Polly was essentially one-sided. The main reason is that Polly is full of energy and excitement. Ruby felt herself overwhelmed by Polly's energy. Though it is what's keeping her up during the long road trip. Amane, watching all of this is amused by this and is merely enjoying the prospect of a new friendship being formed.

"This is incredible, I am now friends with the same person who became good friends with my sister. This makes me so happy that mere words can't describe." Polly told Ruby in an enthusiastic tone

"I'm glad you're happy Polly, when I speak to you. I'm reminded of your sister in a lot of ways. You're just as energetic as she is when I first met her. It does keep me up and ready during this very long car ride." Ruby told Polly

"Thank you for the compliment my friend, though can I be honest with you about something?" Polly asked Ruby

"Sure, you can tell me anything." Ruby responded

"I know that when my sister initially came to Vale. Nobody knew at the time that she is a robot like me. Another thing I know is that she was created to protect the world and be a hero. Aside from those things, I know almost nothing about her. If she were still alive today, do you think that she would have liked me?" Polly asked in a nervous tone

"Polly, I can tell you from my personal experience that Penny would love you. I mean every big sister loves their little sister and Penny would make it her own personal mission to make sure that you two would have as many friends as possible." Ruby told Polly which made her very happy

"That's great, I can just imagine it. If I had met my sister, we could stay up all night doing all kinds of things. Paint our nails, get regular maintenance and talk about cute boys." Polly happily said

"You know Polly, Penny said those exact same words when we first met. Which proves my point that you two are similar in so many ways." Ruby said complimenting Polly

"Thank you Ruby my friend. Though I do have another concern. Despite the tragedy behind it, Penny died a hero fighting Ragna. I know that with her core lost she can't be brought back. I only wish that I can live up to the example that my sister has set." Polly said in a concerned tone

"Penny was a hero in every sense of the word. Besides, it wasn't Ragna who destroyed her it was . . . ." Ruby said before she stopped herself when she realized that the additional details could do more harm than good.

"It's best not to think about it, I just know that you will live up to Penny's example." Ruby said which quickly cheered up Polly before several thoughts came into Ruby's mind. When Ruby thought about Penny. She quickly and vividly realized that if Penny was still alive. Polly could have gained a sister and the two of them would have formed a strong bond. A bond that would be everlasting and the two of them would be able to do a lot of good together. Yet that scenario is now gone, since she is thoroughly destroyed. Ruby understands the circumstances that occurred. Yet she can't help how she feels about the situation. Which is something that won't be expected to change anytime soon.

"Dang it, Jin." Ruby muttered to herself. Though unknown to her, Amane looked at her while giving an observant gaze. A brief moment later, Ruby, Amane, and Polly got a call on their scroll and it's from Clover.

"We've run into some trouble, Polly stay in the truck and watch our six. We'll probably need the element of surprise for this. Ruby, Amane come out and meet me and Qrow. Hopefully things don't escalate further and create more problems." Clover said as Ruby and Amane got out of the truck. It didn't take them long to catch up to the two veteran Huntsman and once they did. They were all greeted by two Huntresses. One of the Huntresses is Robyn Hill herself and the other one is a Faunus Huntress name Fiona.

"Robyn, it's a pleasure to see Mantle's hometown hero. Now is there a reason that you're blocking the path of an official military transport?" Clover asked

"Maybe you can help me understand something. Why is it that construction equipment that's supposed to be used to fix Mantle's Outer Wall. Is being transported to the middle of nowhere? I surely hope that you're not lost." Robyn asked Clover

"It's easy to get lost around here, much of the area looks the same. Thanks for checking on us though. We'll be on our way and out of your hair." Clover said as he made a move to get inside the truck. Though the sound of Robyn's voice stopped him

"Here I was hoping that you would be upfront with me. Now tell me, what is Ironwood doing with Amity at the old SDC mine?" Robyn asked

"Just giving it a usual checkup." Clover responded

"The next Vytal Festival isn't anytime soon. Besides, I doubt anyone would be eager for one so soon after how the recent one ended. Due in no small part to the Beast of Remnant. Besides, Amity is getting resources that would be better suited for Mantle. Full of people that don't have the luxuries of Atlas. Neglecting the Outer Wall, we can tolerate but even that has its limits. Something that has been reached. This all seems like more than just a checkup." Robyn Hill told Clover in a cautious and suspicious tone

"I see that you've been snooping, I commend your diligence which is to be expected from you if you become a councilor." Clover told Robyn

"Between the Grimm and the severe lack of supplies. Mantle's wall can't be fixed. The least you can do is tell us where the resources are going to. It will make explaining things to the people of Mantle as well as the wait for genuine help to come along a lot easier. It doesn't have to be difficult." Robyn said as she reached out her hand

"I'm going to have to pass. Now if you would please let us pass so we can move on with our day. If you want supplies, then you'll need to go through with the proper legal channels. If you become elected councilor." Clover stated to Robyn

"It seems that you've misread the situation. These supplies are going to get to where their supposed to go. One way or another, these supplies are going to Mantle." Robyn said to Clover. Before anything could happen, Amane stepped forward to speak up

"Allow me to share my thoughts with you Robyn. I understand that your driven to protect the people of Mantle. An admirable quality, however I recommend that you think this encounter through and hear me out. Which goes for you two, and your fellow Huntresses trying to sneak up on us." Amane said which surprised everyone except for Robyn and Fiona

"The wind blew some snow in various directions and some of the snow disappeared in a specific spot. It wasn't hard to figure out and I am pretty observant. Besides your lack of reaction confirmed it. Especially since you didn't even bother to try to deny it." Amane told Robyn which caused the Huntress to be impressed.

"May, Joanna!" Robyn called out causing the two to appear but remained on guard.

"Now, I understand that your desperate but if you go through with what you're tempting to do. Then please understand that in every scenario, it will not end well for you at all. For starters, if you attack us that will automatically kill your chances at the election. Since you'll be branded a criminal for directly interfering with the General's operation. If we win, you will most certainly be arrested and I doubt you can do any good in a jail cell. Though if by some chance you do beat us, the situation will only get worse for you." Amane explained to Robyn

"Quite the imagination, but how will the situation get worse if we beat you. Especially since the people of Mantle will get these much needed supplies?" Robyn asked Amane

"Let's say you get away from here with the supplies. The obvious place you'll go to is Mantle but since you've established yourself as a significant threat. That will mean the General will have to treat you as such. The people of Mantle will obviously protect you and your team. Which means that technically speaking, they will be harboring criminals and if that happens. There is a very decent chance that General Ironwood will take immediate retaliatory action against Mantle itself. I don't need to tell you what that will entail." Amane explained which gave Fiona a worried look which was noticed by Robyn

"Ironwood would be insane to do something like that. There is no way he could do it." Robyn said with a hint of worry in her voice

"You've seen a lot the stuff he's been doing recently. Can you honestly say that it is impossible? Since you care about Mantle and its citizens, are you prepared to take that chance. It will turn into a civil war and nobody wins in war of any kind. I prefer the peaceful option. Let us pass, and this will be treated as water under the bridge. We'll also see about getting General Ironwood to do more for Mantle. While keeping your name out of it. You know all the options, now the choice is yours." Amane told Robyn causing the veteran Huntress to think for a moment

"Well I'll be, someone with a good head on his shoulders. Let them pass." Robyn said as Fiona opened the gate. As the group returned to their trucks Ruby spoke up

"I'm sorry for all of this Robyn, we're only trying to help. It's just that a lot of things got complicated. But things will get better soon." Ruby told Robyn

"Good luck at the election Robyn." Clover said before he got back into the truck. Once the trucks left, Robyn started to speak to her team

"First the dust in that mine we gained access to from that mission starts to run out and now this." Robyn told her team

"What now?" Fiona asked

"Find out why Amity is so important, whatever it takes." Robyn instructed to her team

(In the Van)

"That was close Amane, you really do have a silver tongue. Resolving a tense situation without the need for violence. That makes you an awesome Huntsman." Polly said praising Amane's actions

"Thank you, but it wasn't that hard. Robyn's heart is in the right place. However, its easy to forget that desperation could result in some unpleasant choices. I only just explained to her the worst-case scenario for her if she continues her noble but misguided actions." Amane briefly explained to Polly

"I wish it was always that simple." Ruby said in a concerned tone

"Ruby, here's some bits of knowledge for you that might be helpful in the future. You will be very surprised at how often you come across morally grey situations. Especially when you get the full story to the other side of a problem or conflict. What we do may seem like the right thing. However, to others we could be seen as making a bad situation worse. If you act as if you know what's best for everyone and ignore the input and/or concerns from other people. Then you will find yourself surrounded by a lot of people will not hesitate to turn against you if given the chance. I'm not saying compromise will always be the answer that's needed. Just be very mindful of your actions and decisions. Since they affect more people than you realize." Amane explained to Ruby causing the young Huntress to think for a minute

(The Airship)

The moment Jaune caught wind of a mission which involves delivering supplies to the City of Argus. Jaune volunteered as quickly as it became available. The ones who know Jaune perfectly understands why and it involves his sister and her family. It always bothered Jaune that they left Argus in such a quick and sudden way. Since it was under attack by the Grimm so soon after Nu's attack on the city. Jaune fully understood why they when they did. He is also optimistic at the possibility that Saphron and her family are fine. But he needed to know for certain. He also felt a sense of responsibility to help since they were all there when Nu attacked the city but was unable to stop her. Other participates in this mission are Makoto, Bang, Bullet, and Yang. Along with the Ace-Ops Vine and Marrow. Normally they would stay in Atlas but given the circumstances, this is a special case.

"Alright everyone, brief recap for this mission. Some of us will make sure that the supplies will reach there intended distribution centers. Which includes food, medical, and construction. While the others will survey the City, including the border to see if there are anymore Grimm. Now are there any questions?" Marrow asked after explaining the mission details before Makoto raised her hand up before speaking

"We know you read the details on what happened to the City. Should we be on the lookout for Nu?" Makoto asked causing everyone to have a worried look before Vine spoke up.

"If any of you encounters Nu in the City of Argus. You are to notify all of us immediately. From what we were told, she is too powerful and we cannot afford to take any chances with her. As for how to handle such an encounter, it is very much preferred if she was captured. Though if that is not an option, escape is also recommended if none of us arrives on time. I doubt we'll encounter her in Argus but we still need to expect the unexpected." Vine explained before the airship landed in Argus.

(The Damaged City of Argus)

Luckily for the group, Vine and Marrow dealt with the officials at the Argus base and it gave them a chance to enter the City. Once they arrived, they were greeted by a very unsettling sight. What they saw was many buildings heavily damaged and the street have many cracks. Along with that, many areas appear as if it endured a great deal of destruction. A destruction that is caused by either Nu's attack or the Grimm that came shortly afterwards. What made the destructive sights standout even more, is the many blood stains that has been splattered throughout the city. The group knew that they would be in for a troublesome sight. They just didn't realize how intense the destruction is. Definite proof as to how dangerous Nu truly is to the people and the world.

"This destruction, caused by either Nu, or the Grimm. I'm glad Ruby isn't here to see this." Yang said as she looked at the City

"I don't believe anyone would wish to see this. I know that we all left during a dire situation. But to still see this is truly unsettling." Bang told the group

"At least we're making sure that the people here will get the help that they need." Makoto said

"All of this, because Nu wanted to make a point to Ragna. How could he still want to save her?" Yang said to herself before the Ace-Ops arrived

"Alright everyone, the supplies are loaded. Fortunately for us, the relief center isn't that far from here. That's where we'll drop off the supplies, which will save us a lot of time. As for the construction equipment, they will be taken somewhere else." Marrow told the group

"Myself along with one more will escort the supplies to the relief centers. Marrow, along with another will escort the construction equipment to another location. The rest of you will survey Argus. Report if you encounter anything suspicious, remember to stay in touch. This mission should not take no more than a couple of hours." Vine said as the group went along with the plan.

(Moments Later)

Jaune took the initiative to survey the city. On the surface its because he knows the area and it will be easy for him to recover aura if he runs into any trouble. Though this comes at a cost since, Yang will be partnered with him while doing the survey. Since having a partner will allow him to fully utilize his semblance. Makoto surveyed a different area by herself. Since her natural skills and abilities will allow her to move and fight without any need for restraint. Once the two were alone, Yang started to speak to Jaune.

"Worried about your sister Jaune?" Yang asked in a concerned tone

"Wha . . . how did you . . . . ." Jaune tried to ask before Yang quickly spoke up

"It's written all over your face. Besides, if it were me I would do whatever it took to check on my sister. With the Atlas borders being closed and this mission is a special case. It would make sense for you to take this chance to check on Saphron and her family." Yang explained to Jaune

"Yeah, I am worried, I get that we had to leave urgently but with everything that happened. I can only hope that their all safe. It's been plaguing my mind on how their doing. I've tried not to dwell on it the past few weeks, but it still bothers me." Jaune explained to Yang

"I understand how you feel, I'm sure their all fine. Still I have to ask, how do you feel about Ragna trying to save her?" Yang asked

"Honestly, I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand I get that she's done a lot of terrible things. But at the same time, it's all she knows and understands. If there is a way to save her its worth trying but seeing what she's done. I just don't know if it'll be worth the risk." Jaune told Yang

"Nu had cut off my arm and Ragna wanted to save her. I'm trying to let go of my rage for that day. Especially since Ragna's heart was in the right place and things did get out of hand. But what she did to Argus is something else altogether. She attacked Mantle just to prove a point. She calls it the futility of life and when she did it. Nu had this empty sadistic smile on her face. Its as if life doesn't matter to her unless its Ragna. I understand where he's coming from, but after what happened. Maybe Nu is too far gone and she needs to be locked up." Yang explained to Jaune as they were surveying the city. As they were walking around the city, Jaune noticed a very familiar blonde woman. Once a brief second have passed. The blonde woman noticed them too and greeted them with a smile

"SAPHRON!" Jaune said as he ran towards his sister and gave her a hug which was happily returned

"Jaune, I'm so glad your okay." Saphron happily said as she hugged her brother

"I'll give you two some alone time. Call me if you need me. If anyone asks, let's say you're getting filled in on the situation around here." Yang said as she left the siblings alone

(Moments later)

"Congratulations on becoming a Huntsman Jaune. I knew you could do it, you really are destined for greatness." Saphron said in a proud tone

"Thanks sis, how is Terra and Adrian doing?" Jaune asked in a worried tone

"We're all doing fine, the house is a whole different story. We lost a good portion of the roof and one of the walls are destroyed. We've been staying in one of the relief centers. They have private rooms for families so its not all bad. With the supplies coming in, the repairs should be getting started soon and we'll be back in our house in no time." Saphron said in an optimistic tone to her brother

"That's great sis, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that your all safe." Jaune said before Saphron gave him a worried look. As If the next things that will be said will not be pleasant.

"Jaune, after you all left, there's been a lot of things being said. Now I want you to know that you can trust me. But some of the things I've been hearing for the past few weeks haven't been good. Among the things I've heard is that not too long after you arrived in Argus last time. Ragna was spotted on the train that was coming here." Saphron told Jaune

"I see." Jaune said before Saphron continued

"After I heard that, a lot of people started to blame Ragna for what happened to us in Argus. I don't believe it of course but a lot of people are afraid. Especially since the timing of everything is insane. Not to long after Ragna was spotted, Argus was greeted with raining swords that was followed up by a Grimm attack. Now I want to make it clear that we didn't tell anyone that Ragna was with us. But the people are afraid Jaune and its easy to see why." Saphron explained before giving Jaune a pleading look

"Please be honest with me, was Ragna the cause of the attack in any way?" Saphron asked her brother

The moment Jaune heard the question, he felt immense guilt. He knows that Ragna did not attack Argus. But it didn't change the fact that Nu attacked Argus because of Ragna. Making things worse is that Saphron and Terra had done a lot for Jaune and his friends. While asking for nothing in return while being kept in the dark with no complaints. Though nobody died, it still didn't feel right that he is still keeping her in the dark and that she and her family has been in danger. Due in no small part to the situation that they are in.

"No Saphron, Ragna didn't cause the attack in any way. The truth is . . . ." Jaune said before Saphron interrupted him

"Stop, as long as Ragna didn't attack us. Then that is all I need to know and I am content with that." Saphron said giving Jaune an assuring smile

"But sis, don't you think you should know the whole story and all the details?" Jaune asked his sister

"I do admit that I'm curious about what's fully going on. However, the way I see it, as long as you aren't involved in something that had deliberately put us or yourself in danger. Then honestly, I'm content with you keeping things close to the chest. I don't want to put you in a position where you have to lie to me. But I also don't want your guilt to eat you up inside. So I'm fine with things being as they are." Saphron told Jaune reassuring her younger brother

"Thank you sis, this is a really big weight off of my shoulders." Jaune said in a relaxed tone

"Besides, if Ragna had put you in danger in any way. Then let's just say he will see the protective side of me. The side that even Terra won't wanna mess with." Saphron said as she flexed her muscles.

"I don't doubt that Saphron, let's just hope it doesn't come to that." Jaune told Saphron

"Though if you really want to put my mind at ease. You should set up a meeting with your girlfriend." Saphron said in a teasing tone

"Sis?!" Jaune said in an awkward tone

"Come on, I really want to meet the person who has my adorable brother's heart. Just think of the baby pictures I can show her. Or maybe when we decided to play dress up." Saphron said in a teasing tone

"Play dress up, I was the only one who was dressed up. The least you and our other sisters could have done is not make me where pink all the time." Jaune protested causing the two to laugh at the memories before the mission came to an end.

(District within Mantle)

Once all the missions were done for the day, everyone returned to the Kingdom of Atlas. Once they all did so, Ruby and Yang met up with each other and caught each other up on the day's events. Yang felt relieved that nothing major happened despite the encounter with Robyn. While Ruby is glad to know that Saphron and her family are alive and well. Yet despite knowing this, they felt uneasy about a few things.

For Ruby, she felt worried that even though General Ironwood's plan will ultimately help the world in the long run. There are people that need those supplies now and everyday that they are without them. Increases the danger that the people are in. While Ruby sees that Robyn is aggressive in her approach. Ruby also understands that Robyn is driven by desperation and the desire to protect the people of Mantle. Adding to that, Amane's words is still on her mind. Which makes her wonder, is she doing things the right way? Or is she merely adding to an already growing problem? Especially since Ruby is understandably and justifiably mistrustful of General Ironwood.

As for Yang, she is disturbed by the scene of Argus and the destruction that was caused by Nu. It took a great deal of time, strength of will, and a lot of patience for her to fully forgive Ragna for his role in the situation regarding both Nu and Cinder. She understood perfectly that he was in a tough position and though it took time, she understand his decisions. Despite several bad calls that played a role in the loss of her arm. Yet Nu is a different situation altogether.

It has been made abundantly clear that Nu endured something terrible in the labs. It would be one thing if she didn't fully comprehend what she was doing. But the problem is that not only does Nu fully understands that she's killing people. She feels nothing for her victims and doesn't value life. A fact that has been proven when she summoned the raining swords and attacked Argus with no regard for who lives or dies. With the only exception being Ragna himself. Yang truly does want to support Ragna in trying to save Nu. But the more she thinks about the danger that she represents. The more she starts to think that Jin is right, maybe she is too far gone. Unfortunately, the only way to truly stop Nu with no danger to Ragna. Is for Ruby to use the power of her silver-eyes against Nu. But to ask Ruby to kill someone, is that something Yang is willing or prepared to do? The sister's minds are filled with worries. So they decided to relieve their worries and stress the best way they know how.

"It's time to hunt down some Grimm Yang!" Ruby excitedly said as the sisters were chasing a few Grimm that made it into Mantle

"You got it sis!" Yang happily responded as the sisters cornered a small hoard of Grimm. Which consists of a few Sabyr's of at least 6.

Once the Sabyr Grimm were cornered, they attempted to attack the sisters. Unfortunately for the Grimm, they were painfully outnumbered and were rushing towards their doom. Yang used a great deal of her strength to punch the approaching Sabyr into the ground. As a result, an explosive shockwave was made and the nearby Sabyr Grimm were launched into the air. Seeing a good opportunity, Ruby used her semblance to quickly reach each of the Grimm and made short work of each of them before she returned to the ground.

"Yes, that's five for me and one for you sis." Ruby said bragging with confidence

"Oh please, I set them up just for you little sis. I figured I should give you the chance to show off your cool side." Yang said causing the sisters to share in a hearty laughter. Though a brief moment later, they noticed another small hoard of Grimm running towards past them.

"That looks like the last of it, C'mon let's make short work of them." Ruby said with Yang following behind her. As the sisters were chasing the Grimm, they noticed that the Grimm hoard were approaching a slender man who is walking casually. Once Ruby and Yang noticed this. Ruby tried to yell out to the man to warn him. But something unexpected happened next.

Before Ruby could yell out to warn the man or use her semblance to deal with the Grimm hoard. The slender man turned his head and in a split moment. He made a rapid spin and swiftly moved passed the Grimm and a brief second later, the Grimm dissipated. When the sisters looked to see who the slender man is that made quick work of the Grimm. They immediately recognized him.

"Captain Hazama." Ruby said happy to see a familiar face

"Well, its so nice to see you made it all the way here to Atlas. Is the fact that Yang is here means that everyone made it?" Hazama told Ruby

"You made short work of that hoard of Grimm. I have to admit, I don't see many people doing that." Yang commented

"Why thank you, I am still a licensed Huntsman and though it doesn't look like it. I am a lot stronger than I look. I'm glad to see that you are all in good health. Did everything go as well as you all hoped?" Hazama asked

"Yeah, though things didn't initially start out smoothly. Were you there when Argus got attacked?" Yang asked

"Indeed, I was able to avoid those dangerous raining swords. Though shortly afterwards, I saw myself wrapped up in a few other problems. Once everything calmed down, I decided to make my way here to Atlas. Though given how tense the situation with the General and Mantle is, I figured it would be best to keep a very low profile. It makes it a lot easier for me to do my work. Since gathering intelligence is something I need to do covertly." Hazama briefly explained to Yang and Ruby

"Well I'm glad to see that you made it here safely." Ruby happily said

"Think nothing of it, now can I also assume that things went smoothly with the General? I hope he proved to be accommodating to you and your group. Even taking in mind of your infamous problems." Hazama said causing Ruby to have a worried look on her face

"The General did accommodate us, he even made me and Yang official Huntresses. Including our friends, but everything is so much harder than we thought." Ruby told Hazama while Yang gave a concerned look

"Ruby." Yang said worried about her sister which Hazama quickly noticed

"You know, I have a strong hunch that there is a lot more to the situation that you're not telling me. I don't want you to lie to me, but I do have a pretty good hunch about what's going on. Honestly this reminds me of a story, it might give you an idea on how to approach your problems. Though only if you have the time and care to listen, a fair warning though, its not a particularly well known story." Hazama told the sisters

"Sure, I guess we can spare a moment to listen." Ruby said

"I guess we can spare some time." Yang said with her agreeing with Ruby

"Now this is the story of the Crimson Huntress. Now her story starts with her having aspirations to be a Huntress. She grew up believing in the spirit of what it means to be a Huntress. Which is to protect people and ask for nothing in return. Now as she grew older, she realized that she was blessed with amazing natural talents. Once she realized what she was capable of. She felt that it was a sign that she should take the path of a Huntress." Hazama said before he continued the story

"Now after years of training and hard work, she had become an official Huntress. Though when she went out into the world, she saw that the world was a lot more complicated than she was expecting and it goes without saying that she wasn't prepared for a lot of it. It got to a point where she found herself compromising on her wishes just to essentially play nice with those in power. As a result, she went against her better judgment and her core values as a Huntress. Which eventually started to eat away at her over time. Eventually a situation happened that reached a boiling point for the Crimson Huntress. The situation, was that she would need to sacrifice a city full of people. In order to follow the orders of a leader consumed with fear. Once she was given this order, she defied the fear driven leader and made her stance clear." Hazama explained further as he told more of the story

"Now the Crimson Huntress stood her ground and prioritized protecting the people. Once the situation settled down, she was confronted with her decision and people questioned her. The Crimson Huntress made a simple response. She said "I had to compromise what I desire for the sake of others. But I will never compromise at the expense of lives. If you're not willing to work with me to protect people. Then I will protect them instead while standing against you as an enemy." Is what the Crimson Huntress told the fear driven leader. Unbeknownst to her, a lot of people heard this and saw what happened. So do you want to know what happened next?" Hazama asked seeing that he got Ruby's and Yang's attention

"Yes, please tell us." The sisters eagerly said at the same time

"Well, people were inspired by this moment. They all turned against the fear driven leader and started to trust the Crimson Huntress. The reason being that they were finished following orders. They wanted to listen to someone who followed their hearts. Especially since she knew when to put a stop to madness. After that, it wasn't long before the Crimson Huntress started to amass a following. Ever since then, more and more people started to trust her and the legend of the Crimson Huntress was born. A Huntress who follows her heart and is a protector of the people but a threat to evil." Hazama said finishing the story getting a few claps from the sisters

"Thank you for telling us the story Captain Hazama. It was so incredible and after hearing it, I know what I need to do." Ruby happily told Hazama with a newfound sense of confidence

"Well I'm happy I could help Ruby. Now go and be the best Huntress you can be. Also, Yang don't forget to watch your sister's back. You are her older sister after all." Hazama said to the two

"Thank you sir." Ruby said

"See you around Captain." Yang said before the sisters left. After a few minutes have passed and the sisters are certainly gone. Hazama started to let out a huge burst of laughter

"HEHEEHEHE HAHAHAHAHA, wow I didn't think it would be that easy to get her to do as I please. I mean the first time back at Beacon I understand. But I didn't think it would be just as easy the second time. Even with the hotheaded bimbo blonde with her. I though I would have to put a bit more effort. But this is just too easy for me." Hazama said in a gloating tone

"Oh by the way, I didn't get the chance to tell you how this particular legend came to an end. The Crimson Huntress did gain an immense following. However, her success started to get to her head and she started to act all high and mighty. Which led to her making a lot of bad and very naïve decisions. Being around enablers didn't help and as a result, she started to gain a few enemies and the tolerance of her actions started to wane. It got to a point where a lot of people in power got tired of her and decided to do something extreme. So they set a trap to deal with a lot of problematic people which included the Crimson Huntress. The trap was set and a lot of people died, which includes the Crimson Huntress. Who herself died protecting someone else, fitting of her nature." Hazama gleefully said before he finished explaining

"The plot twist, the Crimson Huntress is you Ruby Rose. The person you died protecting was none other than Jin Kisaragi. I'm not surprised that you don't know this story. After all, its not a memory Hakumen likes to revisit. Since it was the day when things started to turn his whole world turned upside down. But hey, I didn't lie, HEHEHEHEHE HAHAHAHA." Hazama said as he brought out his scroll and saw Jacques Schnee's press conference

"Good job Dr. Watts, first pebble down the mountain. Soon the avalanche will follow and its going to be a doozy." Hazama said as he walked away getting ready for the next step of the plan.

(A/N)

I know that there is a decent chance that some of you might think Hazama/Terumi's plan will follow RWBY canon. If that is the case, I am confirming right now that RWBY canon is not the plan. There will be a lot of major diverting differences from canon and I am excited for when those moments will come to the story. They are set in stone and once they happen, I am excited for all of your reactions. What I can confirm is that there are a lot of elements that will be put to work and they will last from Volume 7 to Volume 8 with a lot of major moments and highlights.

So read and review
