A/N: What's up Angel Nation I'm finally back. And yeah I know its been forever. But with the pandemic and life in general and bouts of depression. I haven't been feeling writing. Anyway I am back and things are gonna get interesting. So this chapter is a time skip. We're jumping ahead a year in a half from last time. Let's much like in real pro wrestling things change because of contracts and sometimes storylines are dropped for no reason. Anyway let's get going and I'm pretty sure the second you read the location you'll love it
Fight For The Fallen: (in Charlotte) ( fans cheer as Paul Weight's music hits and he and Tony Khan walk out):
JR: Well on what has already been a steller night already folks here at our return to Charlotte the owner Tony Khan and our newest signed talent Paul Weight out here with a huge announcement.
Schiavone: Yes hours before we went to air tonight Tony tweeted out big surprise just confirmed and Excalibur you're usually the man with all the inside info do you know what's going on
Excalibur: No I don't but right now lets go up to Paul Weight
Paul: Tony first of all thank you for granting me this exclusive. So why don't you let us know what exactly the surprise is.
Tony: Paul we have just inked a deal with a group of the hottest free agents in wrestling but I'm not one to keep the fans waiting so here they are . (Hear Me Now by Framing Hanley blast through the speakers and the fans loose it)
Excalibur: OH MY GOD (David walks out of the tunnel wearing a tailored purple paisley three piece suit consisting of a double breasted men's corset vest over a black shirt with matching pants and jacket and black dress shoes. He's arm and arm with Kim who is wearing purple and black corseted hi-low gothic looking dress. David's dreads are cut short and in a ponytail. Kim's hair is in it's natural super curly afro with a small tiara. They stand on the stage) That's The Arch Angel David Hodges!
JR: A former multi time world champion and his wife a former multi time women's champion (Fans cheer more as Anthony, who is dressed in a cobalt blue suit with a black shirt. His hair is cut like Montez Ford's but with blonde hi-lites. Following him is Grayson who is dressed in a dark metalic pink floarl print suit over a black lace blouse. His hair is dyed platinum. He is followed by Katie who is wearing black women's pants suit and is arm and arm with Vanessa who is wearing red form fitting mini dress her head down to peach fuzz. They are followed by Charlie who is wearing a tailored three piece black with red pinstrips men's suit over a white shirt with a red tie. Her hair is slicked back sorta like Bidgette Nelson in Rocky 4 but a little longer)
Excalibur: That's the Entity Anthony Davis and Gray Shaw, Katie Peritt, V.T.M and the War Bird Charlie Connolly! It's the Angel Family! (they walk to the ring)
JR: I have had a chance to watch these young men and women in their careers they are all very talented atheletes and business has indeed picked up
Schiavone: Well JR I have heard a lot more than I have seen and I couldn't agree more (after they all get in the ring)
Tony: It is with great pleasure I welcome you and your family here to AEW (David takes the mic)
David: Thank you TK but I have a bit of news for you as of this moment right here right now A.E.W now stands for Angel Elite Wrestling! (fans cheer and starts chanting Angel Nation) Now for a year and a half we have been away from the public so allow us to reintroduce ourselves right here next to me as always is my Dark Queen my wife the mother of my child a multi time women's champion. One of the most dangerous women in the world Kim Blackthorn! (Fans cheer as Kim steps forward and kisses David and takes the mic)
Kim: You will bow (fans cheer and Kim hands David the mic)
David: Up next are two thirds of one of the best trios in the business. Two former world champions two tag specialist as well as singles champions. And my brothers two men I would go to war with every night. The Entity Anthony Davis and Dark Glamour Grayson Shaw (Anthony and Grayson step forward)
Anthony:Welcome to Purgatory
Grayson: Enjoy your stay (Hands the mic back to David)
David: Next up is my sister the woman who has been a tag partner to me she is one of the greatest comentators in the game. she is a woman who literally has my blood running through my veins. She is now also one of the trainers at my wrestling school. She is the Renegade Katie Perrit (steps forward)
Katie: Hi JR
David: Next to her is a woman who is a former women's champion and one of the best business minds in the sport she is the bald baby doll V.T.M Vanessa Trinity Mast
Vanessa: Its time to party
David: And last but not least my baby sister my prized student the Warbird Charlie Connolly. A young gifted assassin and former women's champion. Talk to 'em kid
Charlie: Wait and see
David: For a year and half we've sat on the shelf not being idol not biding our time but watching training getting stronger better faster and studying everyone up and down this roster! And before you ask yes we are coming for the Elite! But first there's a nightmare we need to end. Cody I'm calling your ass out you and the entire Nightmare family are first on the list! (fans cheer!)
JR:Well how about that boys
Schaivone: Well certainly big time challenge
David: Cody you walk around here like the sun rises and sets on you but sooner or later you nd your false kingdom will fall. And the first brick to fall will be Big Shotti Lee Johnson on Dark Elevation!( fans cheer) See you there Rhodes (the music hits and the crowd cheers as David and the others leave)
Excalibur: Well the Angel man has made his intentions clear but the question is now are Cody and the nightmare family prepared to answer him and The Angel Family
Dark Elevation: (show opens and goes over to Tony and Paul Weight )
Tony: Welcome to Dark Elevation on YouTube I'm Tony Schiavone and joining me as always is Paul Weight and Paul we certainly have an action packed night (camera shows the crowd and the ramp and then the lights going low and goes red and white and black as Through The Fire & Flames hits)
Paul Weight: That's right and lets take up to the ring
Announcer: The following contest is set for one fall with a twenty minute time limit! Introducing first making her way to the ring From Edinburgh Scotland representing the Angel Family! She is The War-bird Charlie Connolly! (Charlie makes her way down the ramp in her gear consisting of long faux leather tights that are a deep purple on the left side. And black on the right. On the right side is a skull with a purple and white Scottish flag pattern on it. Hanging on the left side is half of a silver Xena like battle skirt. She is wearing a sports bra like top that matches her tights under a matching biker jacket. The black side is long sleeved with chain male fringe hanging down it. The purple side is sleeveless with a silver shoulder pad with the Angel Family logo on it. Her outfit is rounded out with her black wrestling boots and lite purple and black war paint under her eyes. As she gets to the bottom of the ramp she turns and drops to one knee and points to the back of jacket showing it says War-Bird and has a phoenix on it as pyro goes off) And her opponent already in the ring from Philadelphia PA Penelope Ford! (Charlie runs up the steps whipes her feet on the apron and summersaults into the 'Black Widow' pose as the fans cheer and she takes off her jacket and the half skirt)
Tony: Well making AEW and Dark Elevation in-ring debut it the War-bird Charlie Connolly
Paul: She's a former Knockout's champion and WWE Women's champion coming back to the ring after over a year because of a neck injury you have to worry about ring rust especially with an opponent like Penelope Ford
The bell rings and Charlie hits Penelope with a spear into a spinebuster
Tony: So much for ring rust
Charlie picks Penelope up and hits her with a jackhammer and hooks the leg for the pin
Paul: Well Jackhammer she calls it the battle cry cover 1,2,3
Justin Roberts: Here is your winner the War-bird Charlie Connolly!
Tony: Well the War-bird racking up one win tonight but up next it's tag team action as TH2 takes on Baron Black and The Captain Shawn Dean
(Later in the night Nyla Rose's music hits)
Justin: The following is set for one fall introducing
Vicki: EXCUSE ME! EXCUSE ME! (Vicki gets in the ring)
Paul: Like nails on a chalkboard
Vicki: Justin until you learn how to do your job get the hell out my ring! Now please rise and welcome my client The Native Beast Nyla Rose! (Nyla walks out )
Announcer: And her opponent Vert Vixen! (Vert hits Nyla with a standing dropkick then pushes her towards the corner)
Tony: Well Vert Vixen trying to get an early going here
Nyla grabs Vert and tosses her in the corner and then hit her with a forearm splash. And starts hitting her with a series of forearms
Paul: Well that lasted a hot second as Nyla taking control
Nyla continues to beat up Vert and the crowd pops and the fans pop as Charlie walks out and starts walking to the ring. As Nyla tosses Vert out of the corner
Tony: Well here comes The War-bird (Nyla hits Vert with the Beast bomb and pins her) And here comes the BEAST BOMB COVER! 1,2,3!
Announcer : Here is your winner The Native Beast Nyla Rose! (Vicki goes to put the I survived the Beast Bomb shirt over Vert and Charlie slides in and snatches it and looks at tosses it aside and gets in Nyla's face and says she took too long Nyla says back you want some and Charlie pets her on the head and Vicki gets in between them as Nyla tries to lunge at her )
Paul: Well a little confrontation between the beast and the War-bird (Charlie walks back up the ramp smiling)
Tony: Sure looks like we haven't seen the end of it But up next its time for our Main Event The Arch Angel David Hodges making his AEW in ring debut Vs Big Shotti Lee Johnson (Cuts to a graphic and then Cuts to Lee Johnson's music playing)
Announcer: The following contest is set for one fall with a twenty minute time limit introducing first representing the Nightmare Family being accompanied by Arn Anderson from Atlanta GA. Weighing in at 180lbs Big Shotty Lee Johnson!
Paul: Well Lee Johnson with the head coach of the Nightmare Family double A
Tony: Yeah well we saw that this man's opponent call out the Nightmare Family particularly Cody Rhodes and I have to believe that Arn is here to do some scouting (The lights go low and strobe red and black as the crowd goes nuts as Hear Me Now! Hits)
Announcer: And his opponent representing the Angel Family being accompanied by The Renegade Katie Perritt weighing in at 215lbs from Newberry County SC he is The Arch Angel David Hodges! ( David walks down to the ramp wearing simple black speedoe style trunks with a white Arch Angel symbol in the right front corner black knee pads and white boots with a black Arch Angel symbol on the side of each. And a white towel on his head with an Arch Angel symbol on it)
Paul: As we are joined by The Renegade on commentary I can't help but notice the more minimalist gear
Tony: Yeah as I've been lead to believe Hodge's gear is more flashy so I have ask what's with this new look (David gets in the ring hops on the second rope and yanks the towel off and poses as the lights go normal and the crowd cheers)
Katie: Listen the gear doesn't matter what matters is my brother the Angel-Man and the rest and of the Angel family is here to change the face of this company one match at a time starting with the nightmare family
Paul: Well lets see as this match get's going
The bell rings and David and Lee go into a collar and elbow Lee turns it into a go behind waistlock David hits him with a back elbow to the nose making him break the hold and stagger back grabbing his nose. David then grabs Lee and whips him across the ring and hits him with a standing missile dropkick
Tony: Big elbow followed by a standing missile dropkick flooring Lee Johnson's
Katie: Yeah like I said my brother the former multi time world champion is not here to waste time he like everyone else in the family has been scouting the entire roster.
David picks Lee up and hits with a knee lift making him fall back against the bottom rope showing Lee's nose is broken. David then grabs him and looks at Arn and says make sure Cody is watching and grabs Lee
Paul: Well Hodges telling Arn to make sure Cody's watching as we see the broken nose of Lee Johnson
David Picks Lee up and hits him with a Black Wing Cutter (F5 into a diamond cutter)
Tony: Black Wing Cutter cover 1,2,3
Katie: Good night Mr. Johnson (David's music hits)
Announcer: Here is your winner The Arch Angel David Hodges! (Cody walks down to the ring and David and he have a stare down before David leaves the ring)
Tony: Well David and Cody with a bit of a stare down but this isn't over
