A/N: Hey folks welcome back to the path. Now this chapter will pick up with our protaganist going through the forbidden door to MLW and will set up our next chapter which will be double or nothing I played with MLW's time line a bit for this chapter and after next I then I will play with the time line a little bit more so lets go
Forbidden doors and pride wars
MLW: (show already in progress with a shot of the crowd)
Rich Bocchini: Well we will have more on the situation with Jacob Fatu and Real 1 latter as for right now we getting set for some huge action
Joe Dombrowski: That's right the MLW world tag team championship on the line lets take it up to the ring and get things going (The light's go low and Kickiter hits)
Announcer: The following contest is set for one fall is for the MLW world tag team championships introducing first representing the Angel Family weighing in at a combined weight of 417lbs they are the team of The Entity Anthony Davis and The Dark Glamour Grayson Shaw the team of Eternal Glamour (both are wearing black and neon red paisley gear and ring jackets Anthony's something like Kofi Kingston wears and long tights with matching kick pads and knee pads. Grayson is wearing matching bike shorts style trunks with matching kick and kneepads and a jacket similar to what John Morrison wears)
Rich: Well AEW's newest signings two members of the Angel Family here for a shot at our tag titles(Grayson and Anthony stand up on the turnbuckles)
Joe: And yeah they have a big fight ahead (Calvin Tankman and E. 's music hits)
Announcer:And their opponents weighing in at 666lbs they are the current MLW World Tag Team Champions the team of Calvin Tankman and E.J. Nduka the team of Hustle and Power
Joe: Well Hustle & Power ready to defend their gold against two more experienced opponents.
Rich: Right both Shaw and Davis former world champions in their own rights and both multi time tag champions
Joe: Well lets see if that makes a difference as we see Grayson Shaw and Heavyweight Hustle Calvin Tankman start things off
Grayson and Calvin circle each other before they go into a collar and elbow tie up. Grayson tries to push against Calvin but he over powers him and shoves him back. Calvin then goes for a clothesline Grayson ducks it and hits a standing backspring into a diving back elbow knocking Calvin off balance.
Rich: The impressive display of the gymnastic ability of Grayson Shaw
Grayson hits Tankman with a swinging DDT and tags in Anthony
Joe: Swinging DDT by Shaw now the tag into The Entity Anthony Davis
Anthony gets in the ring kind of stutter steps. Before pulling Tankman to his knees and hitting him with a few chops he then backs into the ropes and goes for a shinning wizard but his left leg buckles and he falls to the mat screaming and gripping his left knee and thigh
Rich: Looks like Davis may have injured himself going for that Shinning wizard
The ref gets in between Davis and Tankman, checks Anthony and throws up the X stopping the match
Joe: Yes and the ref has stopped the match and we'll have more after this (Show cuts to break)
(Show comes back with a shot of Anthony being helped to the back and into an ambulance)
Joe: Welcome back to MLW Fusion were doing the break the Entity Anthony Davis who was injured in that tag match was helped into an ambulance
Rich: We do not know the status of his injury as of yet but we will keep you updated but right now Joe it's time for our main event
Joe: That's right the MLW National Open Weight title is on the line and it happens next (cuts to the entrance way as David's music hits)
Announcer: The following match is for the MLW National Open Weight Championship! Introducing first the challenger representing the Angel Family from Newberry County SC weighing in at 223lbs The Arch Angel David Hodges! (David walks to the ring in a pair of plane short red trunks black kneepads and white wrestling boots with the Arch Angel logo in black on them and white towel on his head)
Rich: There he is the Angel Man! Making his way to the ring (David gets in the ring and hops on the second rope and yanks the towel off)
Joe: A multi time world heavyweight champion tag champion all over the world. But you have to wonder about this new minimalist look and newer more hit fast style he's adopted. Will that be enough for Davey Richards.(Richards music hits)
Announcer: And his opponent from Othello Washington weighing in at 202lbs he is the National Openweight Champion The American Wolf Davey Richards!
Rich: Davey Richards on his retirement tour said he wanted this match. Said that he and Hodges have never really gotten the chance to go against each other even though they've been in a lot of the same places. These two debuted in the business a couple of years apart. And have both held multiple world and tag championships. Including both holding the ROH world title. And I for one am anxious to see how this turns out.
Joe: So am I as this match gets going.
The bell rings and David and Davey shake hands making the crowd clap before they start circling
Joe: Sportsmanship by both fighters and this match is underway.
David and Richards go into a collar elbow tie up. They both try to over power each other. Richards gets on a go behind waistlock. David reverses it and hits him with a waist lock take down. He then spins around and slaps on a front headlock
Rich: Some great technical exchanges by both men in the early goings.
Richards powers to his feet and turns it into a side wrist lock. David back flips and turns it into a hammerlock and sweeps his leg and locks in a cross face.
Joe: Cross face locked in could it be….. And Richards get's his foot on the ropes will that be enough to keep the title more action after the break. (Show cuts to break)
(Show comes back from break with Davey Richards hitting David with a flying knee in the corner)
Joe: Welcome back to this match where Davey Richards has taken a bit of the upper hand. (Richards picks up David and whips him across the ring but grabs his arm)
Rich: During the break Hodges was working that arm and neck of Richards who with a perfectly timed kick cut the ring off from the challenger (Richards begins chopping the chest of David)
Joe: Now the champion unloading with those knife edge chops in the corner.
Richards continues to chop David. David blocks a chop and chops Richards in the side of the face and then grabs him and hits him with a modified version of the Wing & And Prayer (his version of The Stratusfaction) making the crowd cheer.
Rich: Wing and a prayer by Hodges!
David hops on the middle rope and hits him with the Angel Sault.
Joe: Angel Sault cover 1,2… And Richards gets the shoulder up
David sees Richards getting and hits him with a scissors kick. Then picks him up and hits him with the Michael Sword then covers him.
Rich: Micheal Sword 1,2,3! New Champion!
Announcer: Here is your winner and NEW NATIONAL OPENWEIGHT CHAMPION THE ARCH ANGEL DAVID HODGES! (The ref hands David the belt and helps Davey up shakes his hand hugs him and then they raise each other's hands show ends)
AEW DYNAMITE(Show opens with an SUV pulling up and David, Grayson, Kim and a stocky white guy with a goatee and blue eyes in a hoodie with the logo of David's wrestling school logo on it. the hoodie grabs the bags. David is carrying the MLW Openweight belt and Renee Paquette walks up)
Renee: David, Grayson tonight you two have a six man tag team main event. But with Anthony being out with a torn ACL
David: Renee you should know by now that my family runs deep. That being said meet my pupil and little brother Jason Dean he just got back from excursion out in Germany and he will be our partner tonight see you later Cody (show cuts to the arena as F.T.R's music hits)
Excalibur: Well welcome to Dynamite where you just heard it here first in a six man tag team main event it will be the team of The Natural Dustin Rhodes The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and Big Shotty Lee Johnson Vs. Purgatory which tonight is made up of the new MLW National Openweight Champion The Arch Angel David Hodges Dark Glamour Grayson Shaw and Hodges's student Jason Dean
Taz: We don't know anything about this kid Dean but I do know right now we have tag team action.
Tony: That's right F.T.R vs. the Gunns
(Later that night show comes back from break with Jason in sweats taping his wrists up in red tape. As David walks up)
David: You ready little brother
Jason: A little jet lag but I'm ready
Kim: Good now push ups
Jason: Yes (Jason drops down and starts doing pushups on his knuckles bnd the camera cuts to Dasha standing with Vanessa in street clothes)
Dasha: Hello everyone I'm Dasha Gonzales and joining me at this time is V.T.M Vanessa Trinity Mast. Vanessa you asked for this time to talk to the fans
Vanessa: Yeah Dasha. I've been on a bit of a struggle lately getting wins. And a lot of people saying I'm the weak link in my family. And you're right every woman in the Angel Family including my fiancee have beaten me in the ring. But that's going to change. I talked it over with David and TK and Katie and as of right now I'm going on an excursion to learn more. Starting with Japan and TJPW and I won't be back until I'm ready now if you'd excuse me I have a flight to catch (Vanessa walks away and camera cuts to the announce desk)
Excalibur: Well how about that guys
Taz: I think its great you're never too far along in your career (Jamie Hayter's music hits) but speaking of far along at a young age here comes Jamie Hayter
(Later that night Katie's theme hits and she walks out and goes towards the announce booth)
Excalibur: And as we get set for our main event we are joined by the voice of the Angel Family The Renegade Katie Perrit (Katie sits down and puts on a headset)
Katie: Thanks for the welcome boys and voice of The Angel Family I like that and I am here for to give you the scouting report on young master Dean but first the introductions (The lights go out and go red andPurgatory by Prozak hits and the crowd goes nuts)
Announcer: The following is your main event Trios match! Introducing first representing the Angel Family being accompanied by Kim Blackthorn. The Arch Angel David Hodges Dark Glamour Grayson Shaw and The Outlaw Jason Dean the team of Purgatory! (David walks out wearing the same gear he wore against Davey Richards and the National Openweight Championship around his waist. Grayson is wearing a red and black paisley version of his gear from his tag match and Jason is wearing the hoodie he wore into the building over a plain red and black Powerlifting singlet that looks like one Mark Henry would wear black kneepads and amateur style wrestling shoes)
Tony: Now as we see this iteration of Purgatory
Katie: Well Jason Dean is a former hockey goon , MMA fighter and part-time EMT from New York and a graduate of the wasteland fortress. He is called the Outlaw because he is the living embodiment of an outlaw and has been in Germany and all over Europe the past year training and learnig, And he is 255lbs of bad ass (finishes as Jason takes his hoodie off revealing his viking like mohawk)
Taz: Well he seems to have an impressive ressume but lets see how that helps in this match( finishes as Cody's theme hits)
Announcer: And their opponents Representing the Nightmare Family and being accompanied by Arn Anderson! The team of Big Shotty Lee Johnson, The Natural Dustin Rhodes and The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes!
Tony: Well as we see the Nightmare Family come to the ring you have to wonder just how well this new incarnation of Purgatory is going to handle themselves against a team that's teamed against with each other in some form or another. Especially with the rookie Jason Dean.
Katie: Listen you don't have to worry. The Angel Man and The Glamour Boy their former world champions and tag champions. And once you see the Outlaw do his thing you'll see that this match is just a scouting mission for my big brother
Excalibur: We'll see as we see Grayson Shaw and The Natural start things off
The bell rings and Dustin and Grayson go into a collar and elbow. Dustin goes for a side wrist lock Grayson flips and reverses it and goes to whip Dustin into the ropes. Dustin reverses it and Grayson hits him with handspring back elbow. Then goes for a bulldog but Dustin blocks it and hits an atomic drop knocking Grayson to the mat.
Excalibur: Big atomic drop from The Natural and this match continues in picture in picture (Show cuts to picture in picture)
Dustin picks up Grayson hits him with a side slam then drags him to the corner and tags in Lee comes in and hits him with a knee drop. He then goes for the pin only getting a two. He sits Grayson up hits him with a snapmare followed by a shotgun dropkick and he then goes for the cover as only getting a one count. Grayson gets his shoulder up and tries to get to his corner as the show goes back to full screen.
Taz: Welcome back to Dynamite where Grayson Shaw is trying to make a tag (camera shows David and Grayson reaching for the tag but Shotty yanks him back and tags Cody) But Big Shotty makes the tag to Cody
Cody and Lee hit him with a double team suplex making Grayson roll through and dive and make a tag to Jason making the fans cheer
Excalibur: Tag made to Jason Dean
Jason charges in and hits Cody with a running cross body
Tony: Big running cross body by the Outlaw!
Jason then throws himself into the corner knock down Dustin and Lee.
Excalibur: Dean into the corner like a wrecking ball knocking The Natural and Big Shotty off apron
Katie: That's the ex hockey enforcer but he's more than just a tank he's a tank who can fly
Cody goes for a clothesline but Jason jumps up and hits him with a tilt-a-whirl headscisors . Making the fans cheer.
Taz: I'll say as we see that headscisors cover 1,2…. and Cody gets the shoulder up! And I have to say as someone who's been in the ring with him seeing a big guy that agile reminds me of Bam Bam Bigalow
Katie: Well the Angel Man has taught him how to throw that 255 around. Now watch this
Jason climbs up to the top rope
Excalibur: The Outlaw going up top what's going to be (Jason Jumps off the top rope and hits his version of the 630 making the fans scream and go holy shit) 630 by the Outlaw!
Katie: He calls it the Arkham Drop cover 1,2...and a half as Rhodes barely gets shoulder up
Taz: Not for nothing but if I'm Cody I'm looking for a tag
Katie: Yeah but to who because Dustin and Lee are laid out
Jason picks Cody up by the head and hits him with a European uppercut followed by another. He then goes for another and Cody blocks it and starts firing back on Jason.
Tony: Cody Rhodes firing back with the lefts and rights
Jason starts to stagger and Cody hits him with the disaster kick knocking Jason to the mat
Excalibur: Disater kick! Cover 1,2… (David hops in and breaks up the pin) And the pin is broken up The Arch Angel!
David and Cody stare at each other and the crowd cheers
Taz: Tensions are running high things could blow apart here (David and Cody start fighting) And it has Rhodes and Hodges going at it ahead of the official weigh in Friday night on Rampage and their match at Double Or Nothing these two have come to blows.
Aubry Edwards tries to break them up but gets knocked down as David double legs Cody taking him to the mat and David punches him. Lee gets in the ring and goes to help but Jason spears him and they start fighting as well. Dustin tries to pull David off Cody and Grayson dropkicks him and it turns into an all out brawl.
Excalibur: All four men in the ring and this has broken down (Aubry gets up and calls for the bell and the rest of the refs and security come out)
Taz: Well Aubrey Edwards no choice but to throw this one out (refs pull them a part and shows Cody is bleeding from a small cut on his eyebrow.)
Tony: Well the refs bringing some order to this brawl and we're desperately out of time for Taz, Excalibur and Katie we'll see you on Rampage (show ends)
Rampage: ( show goes through its normal intro and then cuts to the announce booth)
Paul: Welcome to Rampage! I'm no more B.S. Paul Wight and I am joined by the Renegade Katie Perritt and we have a banger of an hour for you tonight
Katie: That's right he made his AEW debut Wednesday and tonight The Outlaw Jason Dean is making his single's debut against Daniel Garcia
Paul: and tonight following that brawl Wednesday night I will over see the weigh in between The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and The Arch Angel David Hodges
Katie: That's not all my sister the Dark Queen Kim Blackthorn will be going one on one with Kiera Hogan but right now let's take up to Tony Schivonie in the ring with a major contract signing for Double Or Nothing
Tony: Ladies and gentlemen at Double or Nothing we will witness an epic women's grudge match between two women who have been at each other's throats. The Native Beast Nyla Rose and The Warbird Charlie Connolly. But right now it time for the contract signing. So please welcome first The Warbird Charlie Connolly (Charlie's music hits and Charlie walks out wearing a tailored plum colored three piece suite over a blue shirt and plum colored tie and black dress boots and her glasses)
Katie: Well here comes my sharp dressed little sis and she's looking great
Paul: I have to say that the time that I've seen her The Warbird has proven to be a great in-ring competitor. She's got great skills and power but will that be enough to stop the native beast
Tony: And her opponent joining us at this time with her manager Vickie Guerrero The Native Beast Nyla Rose (Nyla's music hits and she and Vickie walk out in street clothes)
Paul: Well Nyla Rose the second ever AEW women's champion. A power house in her own right
Katie: That may be true but Charlie is a warrior and she's aiming to prove a point
Tony: Ladies at this time is their anything you would like to say to each other before we proceed.
Nyla: Who the hell do you think you are (fans cheer and boo) You come in here dressed like Drago's wife wanting to pick fights with me in my company! There's only room for one beast one warrior in this company and it's me and I will make sure you know it. (Nyla picks up the contract and signs it)
Paul: Well some big words from Nyla Rose now lets hear from the Warbird
Charlie: Nyla, Nyla , Nyla listen I didn't just come here to take you out. I've been watching you for years. All the way from your time in Japan and on the indies. And I was impressed. But then you got here. You got here and I watched you get soft. Especially after you got with Vickie (fans oooh) See the reason why I've been here beating all your old opponents in minutes is because I wanted to test myself against you and to test you (Fans cheer and oooh) Prove me wrong Nyla. Prove to me the Beast still has her ! (Charlie signs drops the clipboard and walks off leaving Nyla looking shocked)
Katie: Well if I'm Nyla I'm gonna have to do some thinking going into this match (Camera cuts to the back Where Jason is taping his wrist as David comes in a red and black track suit with his nation logo on it carrying a garment bag)
Jason: Dave shouldn't you be getting ready for that weigh in.
David: I am but what are you doing
Jason: Getting ready for my match.
David: No you're not. You're not going out there you're not ready
Jason: What do you mean I'm not ready
David: You're not ready until you put this on (hands him the garment bag)
Jason: Is this (Jason opens the bag away from the camera) Whoa!
David: I designed it myself you're ready little brother go for it (David and Jason hug and David kisses the top of his head and the show cuts to break)
(Show comes back from break and shows Jason in a ring wearing a BJJ rash guard and shorts running the ropes as his voice over starts)
Jason: I got into wrestling business because after I began transitioning no one wanted to take my MMA fights and I went into a depression. Because I wanted to compete and do something I loved and no one would let me. (Shows footage of Jason running up a hill doing laps around an ice rink and standing on a hill in front of some targets with a quiver of arrows) My fiance he came up to me and said have you heard of this wrestler named The Arch Angel David Hodges he has a wrestling school its down south but I think you need to go because if you don't I'm scared I'll lose you (footage shows Jason sitting in the corner of the ring then shows David standing in the ring) When I walked into his school he looked at me and said its time to get you back in the fight (goes into a montage of David and Jason going through wrestling drills and Jason shooting arrows and throwing axes at the targets and speeding around the ice rink hitting punching, punching bags) I'm one of the only trans-men in this business and I want to show other men, boys, women and just people like me that its ok to be you. It's ok to be an outsider, it's ok to be an outlaw( camera gets a close up of Jason's face and ends. And cuts to the ring where Daniel Garcia is in the ring)
Paul: Well welcome back to Rampage as we get set for action
Announcer: The following contest is set for fall introducing already in the ring weighing in at 187lbs Daniel Garcia!
Katie: Well Daniel Garcia is looking ready but he may not be (Finishes as the lights go red and smoke blows across the stage andThe Last Dragonborn by DragonForce hits)
Announcer: And his opponent from the Parker Row section Asbury Park NJ weighing in at 255lbs he is The Outlaw Jason Dean! (Jason makes his way to the ring wearing his new gear consisting of a pair of dark green almost black camouflage tactical cargo pants over a black front zip sleevless singlet. Like the ones M.V.P wears on the front is a large red J.D. logo stylized in away to resemble Redhood's logo. A sleeveless red leather hoodie with black leather laces on the sides and a black transgender symbol on the back. Black wrestling boots made to look more like para trooper boots. With the transgender symbol on the side of the left boot. And a viking compass rune on side of the right. his outfit is rounded out by a red archer's gauntlet on his right arm )
Paul: Some impressive new gear from Jason Dean very Roy Harper like. (Jason hops on the apron climbs on the second rope from the outside and poses with one foot on the top rope and yanks his hood down before hoping into the ring and taking the hoodie off)
Katie: Good eye Paul the look is inspired by two of his favorite heroes Red Hood and Arsenal. The Angel man designed it special for the kid
Paul: Well special new gear aside lets see how The Outlaw Jason Dean does in his singles AEW debut
The bell rings and Jason and Daniel go into a collar and elbow tie up. Garcia goes for a go behind waistlock. Jason powers out and hits Garcia with a spinning backfist busting his lip Making him stagger around.
Paul: devastating backfist by the outlaw Jason Dean. And he just put Garcia on dream street.
Katie: That's that MMA background and that hockey brutality he's not going to let you get your licks in if he can
Jason hits Garcia with a running jumping knee strike. Knocking him to the mat. Jason then goes to the top rope.
Paul: Are we going to see it
Katie: Yes we are (Jason hits his 630 splash) Arkham Drop! cover 1,2,3! (Jason's music hits)
Announcer: Here is your winner The Outlaw Jason Dean!
Paul: Well if Jason Dean can keep racking up wins like this he's going to have a long career (Show goes to break)
(Show comes back from break with Kiera Hogan's music playing as she walks to the ring)
Paul: Welcome back to Rampage. Where we are getting set for ladies action
Katie: That's right Paul and I've been waiting for this.
Announcer: The following contest is set for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit introducing first from Atlanta GA Kiera Hogan!
Paul: Well Keira Hogan is a great young talent
Katie: Yeah well she's got a lot of experience but as far as her opponent she maybe in over her head. ( the lights go out and go purple and black. AndSeven Devils by Florence and the Machine hits)
Announcer: And her opponent from Newberry County SC representing the Angel Family. She is The Dark Queen Kim Blackthorn (Kim makes her usual entrance with her "hand maids" and a purple and black version of her usual leather cloak. She gets to the bottom of the ramp the handmaids take off her cloak revealing her gear. Consisting of purple leather women's trunks that show a little under butt with corsset laces in the front. Over black fishnets the trunks are covered in black vines and roses her outfit is rounded out by a matching bustier top that laces in the front. She's wearing black knee pads and black wrestling boots that look very goth. Her hair is in it's natural long curly afro parted on the left)
Katie: I have known this woman since middle school and every time I see this entrance I get chills (Kim get's in the ring and stares at Kiera)
Paul: A very witchy vibe on the entrance and given Kim's reputation if I'm Kiera I'm worried and we'll see as this match gets going)
The bell rings and Kim and Kiera and Kim circle each other before going into a greco romain knuckle lock. Kim starts to over power Kiera. But Kiera gives her a kick to the midsection. Then hits Kim with a hip toss. Kim lands on her feet goes for a lariat Kiera ducks it. She then goes to kick Kim. Kim catches it and Kiera hits her with an enzguri knocking Kim to the mat making the fans pop.
Paul: Well Kiera Hogan coming out of the better of that exchange (the camera show's Kim check her lip and smiling as she gets to her feet)
Katie: Yeah but I know that look and Kiera's about to get taken to school
Kiera goes to charge Kim but Kim counters with a Japanese arm drag. Kiera kips up and hits Kim with a standing dropkick. Making Kim stagger. Kiera then whips Kim into the ropes. Kim bounces off the ropes and leapfrogs Kiera who goes for a springboard maneuver off the middle rope. Kim catches her in a wheelbarrow position. Kiera hits her with a sunset flip and gets a two count. Kim rolls through and gets a two count of her own. Before Kiera breaks out and they stare each other down and the fans chant and scream.
Paul: Well it's anybody's match after that exchange Katie
Katie: I'll say but don't count the Dark Queen out yet
Kiera and Kim start to get up but Kim hops up and hits her with a step up shinning wizard with a loud smack.
Paul: Shinning wizard a it could be lights out for Kiera Hogan
Kim grabs Kiera and locks her in the lotus lock
Katie: Well she used to call it something else but it's now called the black reef….. and Hogan taps (Kim breaks the hold as her music hits and the ref raises her hand)
Paul: Well an impressive match (Kim helps Kiera up and shakes her hand) and now the show of respect. But I don't know how much respect we'll see in what's next.
Katie: The official weigh in for Hodges vs. Rhodes is up next and you don't want to miss it ( show cuts to break)

Paul: Welcome back to Rampage and it is time for the official weigh in for the biggest match on the Double Or Nothing. The match between The Arch Angel David Hodges and The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. So without further ado The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes (Cody's music hits and he walks out in a Nightmare family warm up suit. With Arn Anderson Dustin, Lee Johnson, and Brock Anderson and Brandi Rhodes to a mix of cheers and boos)
Katie: Well as I see the prince Cody make his way to the ring I hope he's ready because at Double Or Nothing we will see the end of AEW's long red white and blue nightmare (Cody get's in the ring with the rest of the Nightmare family)
Paul: And now his opponent The Arch Angel David Hodges (David's music hits and he walks out flanked by Kim , Jason, Charlie ,and Grayson David has the MLW national openweight belt on his shoulder)
Katie: Well here comes my brother the man who has been a multiple time world champion who has scraped his way up to earn his throne he wasn't born to it like Cody Rhodes. And mark my words this is the man who will be victorious at Double Or Nothing
Paul; Gentlemen you have both asked for a moment to say a few words to each other before we proceed so please say them then step on the scale. Cody if you would (hands Cody the mic and fans boo more than cheer)
Cody: Hodges I know you're out here looking for me to make some long speech about how we're both fathers. And how we're two sides of the same coin right. But instead I want to ask you a question. And that question is with this being your first big pay-per-view in over a year in a half can you handle it.
