A/N: What is up Angel Nation! LOOOOOOONG time no see. Listen I know but life gets in the way. But that being said I need you to kind of follow me with this one. As it will involve some time skipping and a bit of drama for this so please just go with me. For these next few miles in the road.
The Fall and The Resurrection
Dynamite: (Show opens on a sad looking Tony Khan)
Tony: Good evening it is with great saddness that I have to inform you that earlier this week. The Arch Angel David Hodges was in a near fetal car crash. In which resulted in injuries to his neck back hips arms back and head. He is listed semi concious but stable. But will be out of action indeffenitly. Our thoughts and prayers are with David's wife Kim and their daughter at this time and later on we will have an update on his condition later on in the night.
Later that night: (Tony Schvonie is in the ring )
Tony: Ladies and gentlemen as you heard earlier David Hodges was in a terrible car accident. Joining us at this time from the hospital in South Carolina are Katie Perrit and Charlie Connolly (Charlie and Katie pop-up on a screen in street clothes in a car.) Ladies thank you for joining us at what must be difficult time for you both so can one of you if you don't mind tell us some details as to what happened
Katie: We were in town making an appearance for a local indie and we were driving to the show Dave was in the car in front of us and a deer…. A deer darted across the road just as we rounding the curve. David slammed on breaks his car skidded and flipped over the curve and rolled down the hill multiple times.
Tony: So what if any injury updates can you give us
Charlie: As of right now his injuries stand as fractured hip his right foot is broken. He has a concussion a cracked eye socket a broken right arm. Swelling in his spine and neck causing…..temporary paralysis as well as a few broken ribs and they may have to operate on his knee and left leg to repair the damage…. Doctors say his in ring career may be over and Kim is with him right now and. The doctors will give him his first surgery in the next two days.
Tony: Thank you and any words before we let you go
Katie: Well just keep the Angel man in your prayers.
Tony: Thank you we will. (Show fades to break)
Two and a half years later: ( Will Osprey is standing in the ring and the lights go out and on the screen appears a screen of a body diagnostic of a body with a bunch of readings. Before panning up too a Dragon ball Z like chamber and we see a blonde woman in a lab coat only showing her from behind.)
Blonde women: (distorted voice): Report
Computer: Subject injury status healed fully awaiting the completion of project resurrection.
Blonde: Excellent. So shall we begin (Fans pop as Kim walks into the room from off screen)
Kim: Open the chamber
Blonde: Computer open the chamber (The chamber open and as the water drains the camera shows David shivering and the fans cheer ) Welcome back to the world subject Angel let's begin (fades to black)
Collision: (Ricochet backstage about to cut a promo and the camera cuts to an empty chair in a black room David comes in and sits down in black hoodie)
Off camera distorted female voice: So tell me how you felt after the accident (shows pictures in rapid flashes of David's wrecked car and David in the hospital as he talks)
David: Scared, I thought I'd never hold my daughter again
Off camera: And you almost didn't. How long did you flat line
David: Almost five minutes …. they didn't think I'd make it
Off camera: And now that you survived how do you feel
David: Id be lying if I said I didn't feel broken slightly. Forgotten a bit hurt.
Off Camera: Because?
David: My brothers have left me. ( shows a flash of David Anthony and Grayson.) Anthony got hooked back on the pills after hurting his quad. And Grayson decided to go into the night club business. As for the rest of them Charlie decided to retire for awhile. Renegade is over in japan with her wife. Jason and Kim are the only ones who really stayed around. But I get it people have lives and families drift a part. But…
Off Camera: But you feel like your family abandoned you. Like when your mom and sister died.
David: Yes...I feel like they all abandoned me but that's not true and my whole family didn't leave me isn't that right sis (The camera then show's the owner of the voice to be Taylor who has grown her dreads back)
Taylor: That's right bro now come on let's go we've got work to do (fades to black)
Dynamite: (right after Swerve's match the screen is filled with a shot of David's school the Wasteland fortress before going inside showing David going through a training match with two of his students. While Taylor Kim and Jason watch from the outside)
Taylor: Time!
David: How was that?
Taylor: Good but you're still a half minute off. But for now let's look at your targets. (David,Kim, Jason, And Taylor walk up to a video screen) Target number one (Will Osprey pops up)
David: The Ariel Assassin hmm. The hidden blade is something to look out for but I can keep him grounded
Kim: Yes but remember he's got that cutter.
David: So do I
Taylor: Moving on to target two (image of Ricochet)
David: speed agility… but gets flustered easy
Kim: Not to mention no charisma but his wife is hot though (David Jason and Taylor look at Kim and smirk)
Taylor: Ok what about target three. (a picture of Swerve pops up)
David: First black AEW champion the most Dangerous man in AEW not afraid to take risk
Jason: plus he's quick…. But Nana always slows him down
Taylor: Ok what about targets four and five.
David: Not yet these three for now and I know who I want (fades to black)
Rampage: (show cuts to David looking at the totaled car from his accident as Taylor comes up to him)
Taylor: So what's the status on bones
David: I have a pin in my hip , two in my foot. Had half of one of my ribs removed oh and a plate in my right arm to go with the one you put in my left one
Taylor: So you're a cyborg now. Better question what were you thinking when you were trapped in there
David: Death , Broadie Lee, my mom my sister everyone I've lost.
Taylor: And since then
David: Jay, Bray, my kid , and. Why am I here and they're not. And you why are you back helping me
Taylor: Because we're family. Like it or not you're my brother. Always will be. And just like we lost a lot of good brothers like Bray and Jay. But we've lost something else
David: And what's that
Taylor: The edge we were outlaws anti-heroes . Renegades but we lost that for titles and vanity. And greed you even tried to strip it away from yourself trying to be some oldschool shooter. That's not you. Im hear to let find that side of you again. Of us again and you start with picking that target. Stripping away what old and mounting up on those new black wings of steel. And becoming your ultimate form
David: You're right. Go to Dynamite and tell my target they got a date with the angel at World's End
Taylor: Consider it done (Fades to black)
Dynamite: (Dynamite comes back from break with Swerve's music playing with him in the ring)
Excalibur: Welcome back to Dynamite where during the break Swerve Strickland has made his way to the ring
Tony: Yeah and with the cryptic videos from what I guess is the now reformed Angel Family I guess he an Prince Nana are out her for one reason
Swerve: Look we've all been seeing the videos and I know he's watching I know I got the target on my back but if you think you comeback after two and a half years and make a name off come do it Angel Man( fans cheer then Will Osprey's music hits and he starts walking to the ring)
Daddy Magic: Looks like we might have some competition here
Will: Hold on no disrespect bruv but you're not the only one with a target on ya back lad . So I'll tell you what how about you set this one out and you let the Assassin Of the Skies handle this on
Swerve: Or how bout I we make this a three way and I kick both your asses. (Swerve gets in his face and Nana gets in between them)
Tony: Looks like we could have a bit of a situation brewing here
Taylor: Whoa ! Whoa whoa hold it! ( Taylor walks out onto the stage wearing street clothes and the fans cheer)
Daddy Magic: Its Taylor Calloway! The deadman's daughter!
Taylor: For those of you who may not know my name is Taylor Calloway! And I am the emissary and minister of propaganda for my big brother The Archangel David Hodges (fans cheer as she gets in the ring) And I have the honor of delivering a message from him and an organization to be named later
Tony: Minister of Propaganda?
Taylor: You see my brother had three initial targets in mind in the beginning but he's decided that the third one was only interesting when he was pretending to be a mute Mexican luchador in an underground fight league (fans laugh)
Daddy Magic: Well that was stiff
Taylor: But as for you two he's made a decision. At World's End in his first match in nearly three years it will be you Swerve Strickland! (fans cheer)
Excalibur: Oh man !
Taylor: To open the show
Tony: What!?
Taylor: His second match also at World's End will be Archangel vs. Will Osprey in the Main Event! (Fans go nuts) Good night and good luck (Taylor leaves)
Daddy Magic: Double duty return for the Angel man! This is gonna be huge (show cuts to break)
(Show comes back with Ricochet pacing back and fourth in one of his ugly suits with Renee )
Renee: Joining at this time is Ricochet…. Ricochet how do you feel
Ricochet: What Renee!? How do I feel about what Renee!? Some has been who has been on the shelf for almost three years thinking I'm not good enough to fight him what do I have to do get some respect around here (Jason walks in)
Jason: One stop whining like a little bitch(fans cheer) Second try to get past me on zero hour for At World's End and that's how you cut a promo oh and tell your fine ass wife I said hi (fans cheer Jason walks away the camera zooms in on Richochet before cutting away)
Collision : (middle of the show. Show cut to video outside of David's wrestling school as a black muscle car pulls up and Taylor gets out and opens the trunk and pulls out a case that looks close to the case from Falcon and Winter Soldier. She then walks inside where David is running the ropes)
Taylor: Time get over here! (David walks out of the ring)
David: What's in the case?
Taylor: Well since we all agree that the short trunks were a terrible mistake. I thought its time for your next angelic evolution (Taylor opens the case they both smile and the video fades to black)
