THIS STORY IS SUPER MESSED UP WHEN READING FROM THE APP AND SOMETIMES THE WEBSITE WILL RANDOMLY DELETE OR REARRANGE CHAPTERS. I CAN'T FIX THIS ISSUE , AND IVE HEARD NOTHING FROM SITE ADMINS. SO PLEASE, I'LL ADVISE TO READ IT FROM THE FFN WEBSITE OR ON AO3 FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE. THANKS.

Heads up again for people that may have missed it the first time: This is an AU. Differences from canon will be visible right away. However, I tried to make the characters still resemble their canon-counterparts as well as I could given the circumstances. But there are some changes.

Hinata is the main character of this story, but a decent amount of side characters share a lot of the spotlight with her, and she's very rarely just doing stuff on her own. Just like in NARUTO, friendship is an important part of the story lol.

Because this is an action story, I have to state that some characters power levels will be different from canon. I didn't (intentionally) nerf anyone though. But no matter how powerful some people get, there will always be a struggle, so it won't just be a breeze with no challenges. Yes, characters will get more OP as the story progresses, but development for the MC in particular will be more gradual as she has a lot of ground to cover before she can hang with the big guns.

I mentioned that this is an action story, but there's a decent amount of romance, some thriller elements and even some light humour. Just so any potential readers know what they're expecting.

I like interacting with readers, so feedback and reviews are always appreciated! (as long as they're saying something reasonable)

Long ago, when the world was still young and its mysteries untamed, there thrived a clan cloaked in shadow and legend: the Otsutsuki. Whispers spoke of their uncanny arts, techniques that defied the laws of reality itself. They were said to command the impossible, their every action a dance between divinity and humanity.

Among them, a young woman rose, her name destined to echo through the ages—Kaguya Otsutsuki. From her earliest days, she was a prodigy, a blazing star in her people's sky. Her hands wove miracles, her strength unmatched. She was shaped and sharpened, groomed to be the clan's mightiest blade—a warrior, a protector.

Yet the fire within Kaguya burned too brightly for the confines of tradition. As the years passed, she began to chafe against the chains of duty, the gilded cage that held her brilliance. Her clan, steeped in rigid customs, saw her not as a leader or a visionary, but as a woman—a vessel for their designs, never to rise above them.

Her discontent grew like a storm on the horizon. She questioned. She argued. She dared to dream of more, but each act of defiance only tightened the leash around her neck. Her defiance became a stain upon the clan's pristine legacy, her voice a discordant note in their harmony.

Only one soul stood beside her—a kindred spirit who shared her fire, a friend who saw the promise of a world beyond the narrow walls of their upbringing. In the depths of her isolation, this bond became her solace, a fragile ember against the cold indifference of her people.

But embers can spark wildfires. When Kaguya finally broke free, tearing away from her prison to seek the world beyond, her friend stood by her side. Together, they faced the fury of the clan, the hunters sent to drag their weapon back. And when the cost came due, it was her friend who paid it—sacrificing everything so Kaguya could live, as she believed her friend was destined for too much to be snuffed out so early.

Grief and fury intertwined within her, forging her into something unyielding. Her heart shattered, but her resolve grew sharper. She vowed to honor her friend's sacrifice, to rise beyond the petty vision of her people and reshape the world itself. Over years of relentless struggle, her power grew into legend.

And then, Kaguya turned her wrath upon the clan that had made her. She became their reckoning, a force of nature unleashed upon those who had sought to bind her. Judge, jury, executioner—she destroyed their traditions, their teachings, their very name, calling it weakness cloaked in arrogance. The Otsutsuki were no more.

But freedom came at a price. Alone in a world she did not yet understand, Kaguya turned her gaze outward. Her strength was now a beacon, her will an unyielding tide. She cast herself as the savior of the broken, the purifier of the impure. And though she brought order to chaos, she demanded submission in return.

Freed from her chains, Kaguya emerged into the world as a harbinger of change. Her powers, once confined, now reshaped the earth itself. She cured diseases long deemed incurable, transformed barren lands into fields of plenty, and with each miracle, the world hailed her as a goddess. Settling into this new life, Kaguya bore two sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, and for a time, it seemed peace had found her.

To some, she was salvation. To others, a monster. Her power corrupted her vision, her dreams warped into tyranny. The deeds she once thought noble turned cruel, her grip tightening as the years stretched on.

Yet, Kaguya's thirst for power was insatiable. Her gaze turned ever inward, seeking the ultimate truth within the spiritual realm. Her obsession led her to the discovery of a forbidden path—one that could transcend the physical world. By resurrecting the divine tree and casting the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Kaguya could sacrifice the life force of half of the souls on earth, ascending to a higher plane and becoming a true goddess. With this power, she would remake the world, purging it of all that she deemed unworthy, watching over her creation from the heavens like the goddess she had become.

In the end, it was her own blood—her sons, born of divinity and desperation—that rose against her. Like she had done before, they rebelled, their hearts aflame with the same defiance that had once driven her. But this time, it was not a clan that fell beneath their hands—it was a goddess.

And so, the legend of Kaguya Otsutsuki was born, a tale of brilliance and destruction, of chains broken and chains forged anew. Her shadow looms over the world still, a reminder of what ambition can create—and destroy.
