"Are you okay?"

"N-no."

"What's your name?"

"Wave."

"Well, my name's Sonic. Nice to meet ya"

Sonic pulls Wave out of the bush she's hiding in. Wave is tearing up, Sonic wipes away the debris from her.

"So, why are you hiding in the bushes?"

"Bullies."

"Why don't you get your parents to help?"

"My Dad is… away and my Mom, well, um." Wave begins to tear up even more than before almost fully crying.

"Hey."

"…"

"You want to come with me?"

That's how Wave met Sonic. Which formed a bond that continues till this day.

"So, How did you find this place?"

"A Tracker I made."

"And how did you make this tracker?"

Tails proceeds to explain in extreme detail how exactly the inner workings of the tracker he made work and how he caught up to the two.

"Interesting, say, what do your parents think about this?"

"Not much, they let me go, no questions asked."

"Really? How much would you like a job?"

"In what?"

"Mechanics"

"I would love that!"

"Well, then congratulations M-"

"Tails."

"Tails. Welcome to the Babylon Rogues."

That's how Tails became a part of the Babylon Rogues. A partnership that continues to this day with herself, Jet, and Storm.

"Wave! How's that engine coming?"

"Good, just give me a few more minutes."

"Alright, I'm going to look around for a bit then. See ya!"

"See ya, Sonic!" With that, Sonic runs for the hills at the speed of light, Wave snickers to herself.

Wave looks around the hills taking in the fresh air, she looks back at The Hurricane, her plane and keeps working on it. Finally after a few minutes, she goes into the seat and start it up and to her joy, it works.

"Perfect timing I see?"

"I assume you could've heard it and came here at super speed."

"Wave, you are way too smart for me"

"Yeah, whatever. Hop in, blue boy."

"Alright! Let's get this going!"

"Yeah, yeah."

Wave starts the engine, and flies up into the sky.

"So, Eggman?"

"Yeah, egghead can't keep to himself, so he starts trouble, again."

"Like that girl you saved?"

"Yeah, kinda weird, he's been a bit more active lately, I'm not too worried but still."

"I get you. Whatever, he can mess around as much as he wants. We'll still beat him."

"Couldn't have said it much better, sis"

"Oh great now your getting sappy on me now… bro"

"Hey! you said it!" Sonic says getting up and shaking her

"Hey! Get in your seat!" Wave says pushing Sonic back while he laughs.

"Sorry! Sorry!"

Sonic laughs while Wave drives the plane.

"How do you come up with this stuff?"

"Storm, it's quite simple. We have a problem, I will solve it."

"Oh…. I don't get it"

"That's why you're not the engineer, Storm. That's while Tails is." Jet says

"All that said, you've done great work Tails! We'll be able to do so much with this! Keep up the good work!"

Jet walks out of the room talking about what he can use this for

"He seems happy"

"He does when I do it. Maybe you'll be able to make him happy someday. Probably not, but still it's a nice thought, right?"

"Yeah…it does!"

Storm runs out of the room

"Storm? What are you doing? Hey!"

Tails can't help but laugh

"She seems good."

"Told ya you would like her!"

"Well color me surprised, then. But are you sure Amy is good for our little group we have going here?"

"Yeah. She has raw strength like Knuckles especially with that hammer and she's pretty smart and fast."

"What about that little crush she has on you?"

"Oh, you noticed that"

"Yeah, sooooo?"

"It's bound to pass eventually, right?"

"I hope it does because she looks cute."

"C'mon Wave! Be serious!"

"Ha! C'mon, she is cute though."

"Not my type… or personality"

"Well I like obsessive ones."

"Trust me, you do not want her!"

"Fine…. But still…"

"Wave!"

"Joking!"

"Alright in and out, simple"

"Jet, wait." Tails takes some dust and flutters it out, uncovering a bunch of lasers.

"When did you invent that?"

"I stole it." She smiles at the hawk.

"Nice" Jet fist bumps her

The two creep in while Storm keeps watch. They get the gem safe and secured. They exit the room slowly. They are immediately surrounded by cops.

"Storm!" Jet whisper-yells

"Sorry, forgot"

"I got this." Tails pulls out a little device

"Smoke bomb." Tails pushes a little button covering the area with smoke. The three escape with their lives and the gem.

"That's how you do it, good job Tails" Jet pats her on the head.

They get into their airship and lift off into the clouds.

"Another successful heist, no thanks to Storm"

"Sorry Boss"

"Whatever, it succeeded! Doesn't matter, everything went great!" Jet celebrates

"Yeah!" Tails cheers

The three celebrate all night.

"Ugh, it was right here too!"

"Any idea where it went?"

"If there was any idea, I would already be after it!"

"Well, let's go find it!"

"Again?" Everyone looks at Wave "Sorry but how many times have you lost this emerald?"

"Look Wave, he's lost it a lot, But we should still help!"

"Yeah I agree with Sonic!" Amy cheers

"…fine. But where do we even look?"

Everyone thinks for a bit.

"I know where you can find it" says a new voice.

"Rouge!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Catch me if you can. Knucky." She says flying off

"…Who is she?" Wave asks

"Rouge the Bat, notorious jewel thief" Sonic says

"Well, she's pretty."

"What?"

"…nothing…"

"Tell us where they are!"

"Do you really think I will?"

"Ugh, Espio, this is hopeless!"

"Vector, you just started."

Vector and Espio walk out of their makeshift interrogation room, leaving Charmy inside

"So, why are you here?" Charmy asks.

"Why would I tell you?" Tails replies.

"Cause I don't know"

"Well allegedly I robbed a few places"

"Huh, weird. Why did you?"

"Thought it would be- I didn't."

"That almost sounded like a confession"

"You wish. Anyways I gotta go." Tails says, which confused Charmy.

Tails unwraps herself and does her smoke bomb trick. Leaving Charmy in the dust so much so he can't stop coughing for a bit.

"That was pretty cool, I'll give her that." Charmy says half impressed, half annoyed.
