A/n Oh goodness this was significantly harder to write than expected... this is mainly an explanation chapter (it's quite confusing...) so I kind of got it over with. I still hope it is a great chapter!! Please enjoy ~

"Any questions?" Oh how jam packed this was and Jonouchi was the first the ask.

"Uh, yes? Who're you? What do ya want? What are you? What was that? Were those wings? I mean..." At this point he was rambling and to be fair, he was asking all the questions the gang was thinking. She chuckled.

"I guess I should answer the basic questions shouldn't I?" She leaned forward and rested her head on her hand. "My name, as mentioned before is Furane Suzuka. I am a witch." Before any of them could say anything, she put up a finger that pretty much said 'silence'. "I am not Shinji Shio, in fact that is neither of our names. Her's," she glanced over at Yami, as if it were his cue. It took a moment, but he eventually got it.

"Oh, um it's Shinuo Kasari."

"Indeed it is." Yugi took a step closer.

"Wait, you're a witch?" Jonouchi and Honda stepped in.

"Yeah! Like we're totally gonna believe that bull-" She flicked her finger and silenced the two of them. She sighed as if she was bored.

"Yes, I am a witch."

"How do you know about the other Yugi?" This time it was Anzu. Suzuka thought about the answer.

"Hmm, I guess you could say that I've met him. You know, before he died."

"Wait," Yami caught her attention. "You, I, we met? I knew you?"

"To put simply, yes."

"And to not put it simply?" Jonouchi asked.

"Well, in order to explain that, I'd need to explain why I'm here." Her eyes looked up as she grew lost in thought. "How do I explain this, basically there's going to be a war. A war that ends the world, at least it's supposed to. I was created- we were created to end or finish that war. Kasari is kind of, here as my vessel. Me, I need something from you," she pointed to the pharaoh. "Since I can't refer to you by your name, I guess I will refer to you as Yami. I need something from you." He pointed to himself, visibly confused.

"Me? What do you even need?"

"You knew our names, I'm sure you can guess what it is I'm asking of you." Once again, it took a moment before he remembered.

"Your bloodlust." She nodded.

"Bingo."

"Wait a minute," Yugi chimed in. "Bloodlust? What does that have to do with anything?" The others agreed. She sighed.

"Bloodlust, in human terms is simply the desire to, well, see blood. Whether it be murder, or other means. I guess that could refer to us witches as well, but in this instance, it becomes a vessel for my power." She huffed, "wow, the human language really makes my existence sound so pathetic."

"I-" Yami stepped up, even more confused. "Why do I know these things about you?" Suzuka thought about it for a moment before shrugging.

"You're remembering things as the conversation progresses. There are words, phrases, that are stimulating the memory to remember. But of course, some things can only be claimed through other means. In your case, games."

"But that doesn't answer why you and not other things."

"Because I'm not the thing you sealed in your puzzle." Oh how those words echoed throughout the room. She smiled, smirked? Whatever that was, she did it. She scanned the room to see the shocked faces and also strained looks on their faces. On one hand, the answer was expected, on the other, not so much.

She adjusted her posture.

"I'm sure you've noticed. The battle you go through now is not child's play, it's a real battle. Now your battle differs from mine, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous. I need what I'm here for, and you," she referred to the group, "unfortunately need my help." Jonouchi, once again, stepped up.

"Hold on, we were doin' just fine before ya went ahead and appeared before us. Why do we, all o' a sudden need your help?" She got off the desk before stepping closer to the group.

"Like I said, unfortunately, you will need my help. You all got tangled in my mess without me meaning to." Yugi frowned. The mess they were in was already dangerous and tasking enough, now there was more? It seemed as though Suzuka read his mind because she continued. "That's why I'm here to help. Now, I wouldn't let the dear pharaoh just die with his friends. I'd be a bit more considerate." Yami scoffed.

"Yes, just so considerate," he spoke as if he understood why it was such a sarcastic statement. She simply replied with a chuckle.

"Uh," Yugi started timidly, quite confused. "Okay, so you need the bloodlust from the other me, which resulted in your enemies going after us," he paused, leaving room for any corrections. When there were none, he continued, "can't you just, I don't know, get it from him and then we'd all be good?" It was clear Suzuka held back a sigh, but she was kind enough to just explain.

"I would, but I can't. After all, he is the only one who knows how to give it to me. Just like how you are a vessel for his spirit, he is a vessel for my power. If you die, he dies with you, if he dies, I get it back. But, I can't just have him die. That will ruin his story."

"Story?"

"Destiny, fate, whatever you all call it. We each have a story. The main events have been plotted down from the beginning, it's just our turn to fill in the blanks." Yugi just muttered an 'oh' before letting the witch continue. "He can only give it back to me because he is a vessel, he keeps it all in check. After all, if I could just suddenly retrieve it, there would be no point in sealing it in him in the first place." Honda looked up confused, attempting to process all of the information.

"Wait, you said if he dies you get your power back. Not that we would condone this," the gang knew the exact question Honda was about to ask. "But if you really wanted it, can't you just... kill him?" Yami shuddered at the idea of being killed by her. If he had to die during battle, then so be it, but for some reason dying at her hands just felt... wrong.

Suzuka held back the need to laugh.

"Oh what a silly group of friends you all are. You're right, though. It does seem obvious to just kill him. But one," she held up a finger. "I can't just stop his story. Two," she held up another finger, "even if I were to kill him, I wouldn't get it back. After all, the seal is to make it harder for me to get it back. I would need someone else to kill him."

"So the only way really is if someone else or something kills him, or if he just gives it to you." She nodded.

"And how do I do that exactly?" A simple question arose from the pharaoh.

"Honestly, I have no clue. You would know instinctually how to do so. I never taught you how to do it." He frowned, unsure of what to do with the information.

"Right," he muttered. "To make it harder for you to get it back."

"Look," Jonouchi jumped right in. "If you want it so bad, why did you make it so hard for you to retrieve it?" At that point, she raised her head high, now full of pride as she looked down on the people that were in the room.

"Because when at full power I am a feared witch, a powerful being." She suddenly appeared before him, placing a hand under his chin and raising it up. "You have no idea the power I hold. The things I could do in mere seconds. After all, I was created to be a weapon." Jonouchi suddenly felt every muscle in his body tense, his hands starting to grow cold, and in that moment he had forgotten how to breathe.

'Holy crap,' he thought. Everything in his body was telling him the same thing, over and over again.

"Run." It was a whispered but it echoed. It was quiet but it rang in his ears. Instinct told him he needed to get far away from her, just look away, turn away, walk away, run.

"Suzuka," Yami's voice brought him back. She released the grip she had on him and his hands started to feel warm again, his heart rate (now noticing that his heart rate was racing) was slowing down. He swallowed his fear and started to relax.

"What the hell was that?!" Honda ran to his friend, visibly concerned. She shrugged, unsure of what to really call it. Intimidation? Though she did a very poor job at it. He actually managed to stay standing. Maybe she was getting rusty?

"Jounouchi, are you okay?" Yugi asked. The blond stayed quiet for a moment before laughing nervously and nodding.

"Y-yeah. Yeah... Yeah..." Suzuka sighed loudly, getting their attention.

"Look, if I scared you, I'm sorry, but I'll be honest. That was a bit fun."

"Suzuka!" Yami scolded her but she just shrugged, throwing her hands up with no care in the world.

"Fine! I'll answer your question again. I am quite powerful, but being powerful isn't all that. Honestly it's very boring." She started to walk back to the desk slowly, as if she were waltzing through a forest. "It's also very quiet, and lonely." She turned around by the time she made it across, now looking up at them. "Plus, I don't really like my ability."

They all had a look on their faces. While they kind of understood, they had no idea what she was talking about. Yami seemed to have remembered though.

"Ah," she groaned. "Right, you all know nothing about witches or demons huh."

"Wait what? Demons?" They perked up.

"I-, never mind," she raised a hand, not wanting to really explain. "Let's just stick to the witches. Look. Each witch, receives an item. That item is their source of power, but also their life. Well," she thought about it, unsure if that was how she should have worded it. "Not that breaking the item would kill them, just, give them excruciating pain. Let's just say that killing them would bring them mercy. Once broken, it breaks them." They all kind of grimaced at the thought. She continued. "If you are ever reincarnated, depending on the reincarnation, your item gets passed along with you, however it doesn't necessarily become your source of power. Unfortunately, because it is your item, if broken or destroyed, well you see the point.

"Just because you have an item however, doesn't mean you're all powerful. If powerful enough, whatever that means, you get your ability. It's kind of like a signature, a style. Just like a musician, just like a writer, just like an artist. It usually ties with the item, but sometimes it has nothing to do with your item. Mine's, does relate to my item, at least, it's supposed to. Because I sealed away my power, I sealed away my ability. I have been reincarnated more than once so I have three items. But, one now," she looked up to think, once again, unsure.

"What happened to the other two?" Yami, the only one really brave enough to speak, asked.

"I sealed my third one, I hid away the first. I currently have my second."

"Which is?" This time, Anzu spoke, curious. Suzuka pointed to her back.

"My wings."

"Wait wait wait," Jonouchi started, now feeling less like a lost puppy. "Doesn' having such revealin' item make it a weakness?" She gave a slight nod, approving his question.

"Ah, assuming my wings are fragile." She revealed the feathered wings as she made eye contact with him. They then closed and covered her entirety before spreading and revealing them again. "They are as tough as iron as you would say."

"Wait doesn't Kasari-san have wings as well? Is it possible for witches to have the same item?" Yugi asked.

"Same item? No, of course not. Her's and mine's both are wings yes, but are completely different. She uses hers to heal and defend, I use mine to defend and attack. There may be similar ones out there, but not one is ever the exact same."

"Attack?" Honda thought out loud. "I guess I can see how you'd attack with those, but it just seems so impractical." Suzuka smiled, impressed the group was asking the right questions.

"Turns out the friends you've made aren't total idiots after all pharaoh," she turned towards him, ignoring the scowls made from the blond and his friend. "True, these feathered wings aren't so useful for attacking, so," she raised a hand. They all stopped to stare at the witch in front of them. What was going to happen, what was she trying to do?

Immediately, her feathers seemed to have morphed, now drooping into what looked like large fang like weapons.

"I change their use." She made a gesture, her wings changing again, now into one giant clawed hand. Another gesture and they changed back. "I have more but in a small classroom like this, I feel like I'm just wasting their potential."

Yami, Yugi, and Anzu were quite impressed. Honda and Jonouchi were just stunned into silence.

"Bro, did you see that?"

"Honda what the actual fuck." Yugi couldn't help but laugh as he shook his head.

"Jonouchi, language." The boy grinned sheepishly as he apologized.

"So what's your ability?" Anzu asked.

"Oh," was all she said. She looked away for a moment. There wasn't any harm in telling them, it's just, it was an ability she didn't want to have. After all, it was stupid. It was tasteless. "Nothing special. With my full power, my blood can be used as an elixir."

That was a half truth, something Yami noticed.

Honda and Jonouchi simply remarked how lame that seemed compared to shapeshifting wings.

"Also, Suzuka-san-"

"Please, just refer to me without any honorifics. While I appreciate the respect, it makes me feel less like a witch and more like a human." Anzu mouthed an 'okay' before starting again.

"Suzuka, you mentioned reincarnation, but said depending on the reincarnation, what does that mean?"She shifted her weight, changing her posture.

"There are three types of reincarnations. The first is a false reincarnation, basically you are reincarnated with no ties to your past self. The second is an incomplete reincarnation. This one, part of your past self is tied to your new self. This can be a memory, an image, mentality, whatever. A complete reincarnation, the one I was referring to, is exactly what is implies. Everything about you is passed on to your new life." The rest of them nodded as they took in the information. It seemed rather far fetched, but considering how they were all stuck in this mess, it all (sort of) made sense. She looked out the window and created a pocketwatch as she checked the time. "It's quite late isn't it? While I'm sure there are more questions, I really can't stay out much longer."

"What do you mean?" Yami spoke up. Suzuka leaned against the desk and sighed, feeling rather drained.

"Right now I've been sealed. It'll take a few more days before I get my own body back," she explained.

"Oh," Yami remembered something. "Speaking of, is it possible for me to go back to the puzzle? While it is pretty great to have my own body, it does complicate things." The others agreed, noting some difficulties that would be brought up.

"Sure. But before I do that, I do wish you all the best. I understand there are many questions and I will do my best to answer them." She stood up tall and bowed. "Goodbye everyone, until we meet again." And her wings popped up before turning pure white and disappearing. The girl stood up tall again and stretched her neck, left and right.

"Oh goodness, that took a toll on me." The gang reacted, but what were they supposed to say?

"It was nice seeing you again Kasari," Yami spoke so eloquently. She smiled back.

"Indeed it was." She put her hands in front of her before a light flashed again. Yami disappeared and Yugi held his puzzle, content that the spirit wasn't gone, just back in the puzzle.

Before anyone could say anything, Kasari spoke up.

"While I understand her and I have different names, I do ask that at school you refer to us as Shio." Her smile was rather bright, a big contrast compared to Suzuka.

They all stated in their own ways that they understood, despite being confused as to why, and went home.

Yugi was about to enter the game shop before remembering something.

Ah, he internally scowled. I forgot to ask about what happened early in the day...

A/n oh my dear that was a difficult chapter!! I really hope it all made sense and I hope that it was worth the read. If you have any questions, please PM me and I will answer them!!
