Henry carried the car seat into their apartment, placing it on the counter and cautiously took the baby out of it.

"Welcome home sweet pea," Teddy smiled, taking her daughter, "Ally you're home."

The baby opened her big blue eyes trying to focus on her mom's face.

"Hi sweetpea," Teddy smiled, "I'm here. Should we go have something to eat? I think you're getting hungry."

"Teddy," Henry asked, smiling over her shoulder at the baby.

"I'm okay," Teddy said, "I still feel like I got hit by a truck and need to sit down."

"Go sit," Henry said, "I'll bring that funny pillow up from the car."

"I need it," Teddy said, "I can't balance her to feed yet without it. She's so little."

"7 pounds 11 ounces," Henry said, "a good sized baby."

"Arizona thought she looked good," Teddy smiled.

"I'm surprised Owen didn't come see us in the hospital," Henry said.

"I wanted space from him," Teddy said, "he gets so jealous. He wants his own. I want to enjoy this for a few days without making sure his feelings aren't hurt."

"He knows," Henry asked.

"He does," Teddy promised, "but everyone agreed to wait until I invited them. Arizona only saw because she was up in the nursery when Ally was."

"Who are you inviting first," Henry asked.

"Owen," Teddy said, "in a few more days. Maybe when she stops feeding every 30 minutes."

"I think you'll be doing that for a while," Henry said.

"I want some dignity," Teddy replied, "no one needs to see my breasts out."

"You're feeding Ally," Henry said.

"But only you need to see it," Teddy said, "there's some boundaries I want to keep with people."

"Okay," Henry said.

"I should send my sister some pictures," Henry said.

Ally began to stir in Teddy's arms.

"Oh sweet pea did we stop paying attention to you and mommy and daddy were talking," Teddy asked.

"Is she okay," Henry asked.

"I think so," Teddy replied, "maybe. I'm tired though."

"Put her down and rest," Henry said, "she's okay."

"I just want to look at her," Teddy whispered.

"On the couch," Henry asked.

"In bed," Teddy said, "I want sweat pants and a cozy hoodie."

"Do that," Henry agreed, "I'll order dinner. Ideas?"

"Sushi and wine," Teddy laughed.

"Wine," Henry asked.

"One glass is safe for her," Teddy replied, "the alcohol transfer would be less than in a glass of orange juice."

"Ok," Henry agreed, "I trust your research."

"She needs a diaper change first," Teddy said.

"I'll do that you get changed," Henry said.

"I'm showering," Teddy said, "then I'll snuggle her with a movie in our bed."

"What movie," Henry asked.

"Lord of The Rings," Teddy said, "I have the DVD box set."

"You enjoy," Henry said, "don't wake her up."

"She'll probably cluster feed again like she was at the hospital," Teddy said, "get settled and go with it."

"How can I help," Henry asked.

"Feed me," Teddy smiled.

"Go shower so I can order your sushi," Henry said.

Teddy took a quick shower, finally able to wash her hair properly. She still felt round and more than ever like her body didn't belong to her. She knew that it would take time and a lot of work to get back into shape but she couldn't do anything now. Everything hurt, she felt like she had rocks strapped to her chest, engorged and leaking.

"That was fast," Henry said when Teddy joined him and Ally on the bed, her wet hair in a braid down her back."

"Just needed to have a good wash," Teddy said.

"You girls snuggle," Henry said once Teddy was settled against the pillows with Ally in her arms.
