The only one standing is Vanilla, leaving Sonic and Tekno on their knees as Sonic is covering Tekno, Eggman lying on his Egg Mobile as he rubs his neck groaning and Lien-Da is lying on the ground while holding her arm.
"Sonic, you and Dr. Eggman are not from here. What you did with the chaos emerald permanently changed our future. Do you have any idea what you did?" Vanilla asks with a cold tone.
"Yeah. But I did challenge Eggman to see what'll happen to Meg. I know it's a mistake." Sonic admitted.
"Mistake, huh? It was no mistake. So the time distortion was caused by my machine, but not the chaos emeralds. The altered timeline was started by the Breezie Corporation. Originally, there was no corp in Westside Island, but thanks to Breezie, I finally had the chance to create Eggmanland further in the past." Eggman widens his grin while standing up and prepares Big Arms as it fused with Egg Drillster Mk.II.
Tekno gasps as she witnesses a robot flying in front of the group, leading Sonic to stand up and block Tekno from Eggman.
"You took everything away from me. I have no robots left, no minions to order and no resources. Unless…" Eggman turns towards Lien-Da, only for his machine to lower itself in front of her.
"Huh?" Lien-Da looks up, seeing a hand closer to her.
"Echidna, how would you like to join the Eggman Empire? We'll create new alliances, build more machines and destroy our enemies. You might kill Sonic and his friends, even Vanilla." Eggman offers his hand to Lien-Da, making her look at someone who's killing intent is real.
"Hahaha. Ahahahahahahaha!" Lien-Da is overjoyed to hear what Eggman says.
As she still laughs, her cackles made Sonic and Vanilla stand guard.
"Yes. I'll kill them all! I'll even kill the son of Aleena! Vanilla, your future is mine!" Lien-Da's grin widens as she's picked up by Eggman.
"And to think we're enemies. I may be a criminal, but you're a scumbag." Vanilla grunts while cracking her neck.
"I agree. Hey, Eggman! Let's fight!" Sonic is hopping around his fighting stance.
Finally, Sonic flashes gold, making Tekno gasp with surprise as she sees raining feathers as if Sonic is a golden angel.
Vanilla is also speechless, witnessing the hedgehog that manifested the power of the chaos emeralds.
"An angel… Tekno, go home. We'll handle this." Vanilla calls, making Tekno run back home.
It's Super Sonic and Vanilla vs Eggman and Lien-Da as the 4 are prepared to give it all they got.
"Sonic!" A voice yells.
"Huh? That voice…" Sonic gasps with surprise.
Diving down are 4 kids that are there to save Sonic as Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Tania are bracing each other as Tails is spinning his tails, Tania releases her sword and dives down, Knuckles also divin with his fists and Amy spinning with her hammer.
Before the fight begins a crash has created a noise as Lien-Da is pushed away from Eggman, causing Eggman to grunt as he sees 4 landed near Super Sonic.
"Guys?"
"Hey, Sonic. Did you miss us?" Tails asks as he giggles.
"Big brother! Thank goodness you're okay!" Tania hugs Sonic, leading to Sonic watching his friends coming to the past to fight by his side.
"We were worried about you. So let us fight Eggman." Amy said while nodding.
What's even more surprising is Knuckles joining the group as if Tikal's right all this time.
"Knuckles… You too?" Sonic is glad to see Knuckles back and uninjured.
"Don't take this personally. I'm only doing this to stop Eggman from attacking you." Said Knuckles as he approached Eggman. "Eggman, it's over." Knuckles punches his own fists as he's ready to fight.
"So the little brats are following me. Well, Vanilla, you're lucky to have a bunch of children working for you. I'll get to Station Square no matter what." With Eggman turning around, he stops and hands over a card to Lien-Da, making sure she'll join his cause in a new timeline.
He's gone.
"Who's that?" Amy asks, staring at Vanilla out of confusion.
"That's the infamous Rabbit Gang leader, Vanilla. Sonic, how did you…" Tails is shocked that Sonic manages to befriend a crime leader.
"It's okay. She's scary, but is as nice as Tekno said. Vanilla, what's going to happen to your future?" Sonic asked.
"I have no idea. But I must thank you for assisting us. I hope Lien-Da doesn't alter the future." Vanilla is worried about what's going to happen now that the past is rewritten by Sonic and Eggman.
"I'm sure she won't." Tania speaks out.
"Yeah. The future is ours to protect. That's why Team Sonic is there to take care of anything that hurts other people." Said Amy.
"But now what? Eggman is heading to Station Square and Sonic's life is in danger." Tails is worried about the unfortunate fate of Sonic the Hedgehog.
"We're going there." Knuckles answers while walking towards the sea. "Miss Vanilla, do you have anything that could get us to the human continent before Eggman gets there?"
"Hm. I think there's a way. Sonic, take a headstart towards the United States." Vanilla said.
"You don't have to tell me. I know where I'm going." Super Sonic pulls a confident grin.
"Good. All of you, come with me. We'll catch up." Vanilla nods while running with Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Tania towards the different location.
After that, Super Sonic boosts away from Chun-nan.
Lien-Da grunts, looking at the card where it shows Eggman's address.
Outside in the middle of the sea, Sonic is charging towards Egg Drillster Mk.II, making Eggman grunt and fires his drills towards Sonic.
With Sonic dodging, he's able to boot a drill towards Eggman, causing Eggman himself to duck as he shrieks.
"Why you little!" Eggman then releases a bunch of missiles.
This gives Sonic the good old days of him and Eggman's fight as Sonic dodges from them and chucks a missile towards Eggman's Egg Drillster Mk.II, causing one arm to explode, leading it one armed.
"How is that possible!?" Eggman yells while charging towards the United States as they're getting closer.
While getting closer and barging the Egg Mobile, Eggman fires lasers out of his Egg Mobile, making Sonic dodge and spin while flying upwards.
After that, bullets appear as Eggman dodges his Egg Mobile, realising that he's being ganged up by a bunch of children, even Vanilla which is shocking to Eggman.
With the Egg Mobile completely disarmed, Eggman is now finished, realising his ultimate plan is now his ultimate failure.
Flying above, Super Sonic charges his spin dash, leading to it being Sonic's final spin on Eggman.
Before Eggman defends himself, a golden light pierces through the Egg Mobile, creating more explosions, leading to Eggman admitting his loss.
In the end, a massive golden explosion has vapourised Eggman as feathers are spreading everywhere, making Tails and the group gasp with awe.
Sonic is the victor in this battle.
United States, Station Square
The group are running towards Sonic as Amy and Tania glomps onto Sonic, Tails and Sonic hi fives as well as him and Knuckles fist bumping.
They saved their future.
Approaching the children, Vanilla is glad that they're all standing together as they're finally free from Eggman's tyranny.
"Sonic. You and your friends are real legends. I'm beyond impressed. Maybe… Maybe I can change."
Sonic shakes his head and holds Vanilla's hand.
"Vanilla, you can stay a criminal. But I'm sure you'll have a great future." Said Sonic.
This had Sonic's friends giggling as they're able to see the brighter future once they go back home.
"Sonic. If I have a child, maybe I'll tell the child about you. The real you." Vanilla said as Sonic smirks.
"Yeah. Also these are my friends. Miles Prower, Amy Rose, Knuckles and my little sister Tania." Sonic introduces them to Vanilla, making her pleased to see them together.
"Ah. When we meet again, I'll hope to give all of you a nice warm meal. I'll even introduce my child to you someday." Vanilla laughs, even Sonic's friends laugh together.
As the green chaos emerald opens the time portal, the group are waving as well as Vanilla, knowing their meeting is short, but chaotic.
It's as if their adventure has ended and they'll return back home, even Meg is waiting for him.
That's right… Meg.

The world?
The world is left similar to where the adventure ended.
But it's monochrome and green mixed.
Footsteps approaching as a blue eyed echidna stares at a bunch of children.
"7 years later and they didn't kill my boss? Heh. How pathetic. You created a new timeline."
Appearing in a frozen world is Lien-Da as she sees why Eggman changed the past, even altering the future.
"Pitiful. This ending is false. The real ending is just further away." Lien-Da sighs as she's unimpressed with how their adventure goes.
"You don't know anything, echidna. Considering that I never wrote you and extras. Sally? Johnny? Breezie? They're never in a story to begin with." A human woman speaks out as she's in a simple white dress, making Lien-Da snort.
"Who cares about canon events? All I care about is dealing with my friends like Agent Stone and Mecha Sonic. With the Flame Legion becoming Dark Legion, I'll have Sonic's head on my boss' wall. Also why is your daughter so important to the story?"
"You're asking me that question?"
"Indeed I did, Mary Garnet." Lien-Da reveals the woman's name, the name of the author responsible for creating Sonic in real life.
Mary is facing someone that Eggman hired 7 years ago, knowing that Lien-Da is cheating in her story.
"If you wanna see your daughter smile, then we won't cheat this time, but we'll use Sonic as a means to gain what we want. My kind was wiped, but there are a few left and some are dying." Lien-Da is circling Mary while mocking her storytelling of the blue hedgehog.
Lien-Da flips the green chaos emerald, and stands closer to Mary with a mocking smirk.
"Since you're God, how about you play God?" Lien-Da taunts Mary, much to Mary's disgust.
Even Mary knew she can't do anything about it, giving Lien-Da the pleasure to mock the mother of Meg.
"Exactly, false God. Whether Sonic's fate is determined, I can't wait to see what'll become of him." Lien-Da turns her eyes as she widens her grin.
To Mary's horror, Lien-Da and Eggman are doing more damage to order, only to make things worse.
"That's right, what are the super emeralds' purposes? Why did Knuckles change? How is Tania feeling when reuniting with her brother? Why is Sonic the last chaos emerald? What happened to Mecha Sonic and Agent Stone? Why am I from the future?"
"Why did Sonic kill Amy?"
"He did what!?" Mary is under the impression that timeline is now screwed, making Lien-Da laugh maniacally.
"That's right! Let the real tale begin! Till we meet again in 'The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.' This is Lien-Da narrating, Chaos Control out."
