Chapter 7 The Shinobi World
Sean was in the break room just watching a movie.
It's been a month since the incident with Republic city with the White Lotus trying to bend Korra's mind to Tenzin's views even though he didn't tell them to do so.
After which the White Lotus order was disbanded and arrested completely since no one trusted them anymore.
Tenzin had taken a beaten to his reputation after that.
Even though he wasn't directly involved his words are what sparked the whole thing.
And SHIELD was keeping a close eye on him incase he tried to pull something.
As for Korra she was still in therapy trying to get past the trauma of what she went through.
But for now she was settling in.
Sighing Sean drank something watching his movie.
"What the hell is this?" Dom asked.
"Saving Private Ryan. Garret got me into this a long time ago." Sean said smiling seeing the D Day invasion.
"Damn." Cole said.
"Wait. Is that Captain America guy in it?" Baird asked.
"Steve Rogers. And no. This has nothing to do with him." Sean said before Hand walked in.
"You and war movies. I swear." Hand said amused.
"Whats your way of relaxing?" Sean asked.
"Going to a bar." Hand said smirking.
"I feel sorry for the guy who hits on you." Baird said.
"It wouldn't work anyway. She's not interested in guys." Sean said making Cole choke on his drink while she smirked.
"Oh." Marcus said chuckling. "Why am I not surprised." Marcus said.
"Hmph. Anyway Fury has called you in. Another planet has been found and this one is particularly interesting." Hand said.
"How so?" Dom asked.
"Theres some strange energy signature all over the place." Hand said as Sean left.
"This should be good." Marcus said as they left.
Arriving in the office they found Fury with Mace and several other Jedi council members.
"Oooh. This can't be good. Whenever there's this many of you guys here it means hell." Sean said making Plo chuckle.
"I wouldn't say that." Koth said amused.
"Whats up?" Dom asked.
"This new world has some in the Republic concerned." Mace said.
"Concerned how?" Baird asked.
"The energy signatures are far beyond what we would normally expect from other worlds. We believe this world may be just as dangerous though less than the kind on Cybertron." Mundi said.
"Which is why we want to make sure our presence there doesn't cause an incident." Plo said.
"Understandable. All right get as many members of the Crysis division and any available gears." Sean said.
"Right." Marcus said leaving with Dom.
"Let me see this energy signature." Baird said before the planet was seen as he looked it over. "Damn." Baird said.
"Any theories?" Sean asked.
"It's both...Natrual and yet unnatural. But from what I can tell...This energy seems to be part of the planet. And yet...It seems to be diverse." Baird said.
"Meaning it might be coming from the people there." Shaak Ti said.
"Yeah." Baird said.
"So they may be like those Mutants we see." Kim said.
"No. Those guys get their powers from the X gene in them like Xavier said. These guys seem to all have it but at different levels." Baird said.
"Just like the force. The high M count the stronger their connections are." Sean said.
"Well, yeah. I'm still researching that but yeah...It seems that way." Baird said.
"So others will be stronger than someone else." Koth said.
"Basically. We'll know more when we get there." Baird said.
Later
A republic Cruiser soon arrived at the new planet.
"Damn. Kinda reminds me of Earth." Garret said.
"Yeah so does Sera. Theres a landing site we can land." Coulson said.
Landing on the ground they soon got of with a small force.
"Not bad." Cole said looking around.
Crysis however scanned the area seeing heat signatures.
"We're not alone." Crysis said making them men tense up before he held out a hand to stop them before walking to a tree and placed his gun down.
"You can come out now I know you're there." Crysis said before someone jumped down who had silver hair and one eye that was black and the other red with three tomes.
"Your good."
"We're not here to cause a problem." Crysis said.
"So I see."
"Who are you?" Mace asked.
"My name is Kakashi Hatake. An ANBU member of the hidden Leaf village." Kakashi said.
"ANBU?" Crysis asked.
"Best of the best you could say." Kakashi said shrugging nonchalantly making him scoff in amusement.
"We're from the Galactic republic. Part of the peace keeping organization called SHIELD. We discovered this planet and decided to investigate." Crysis said.
"Oh yeah?" Kakashi asked.
"We've been going around planet by planet for the last 3 years gaining more and more allies. Your world is just the latest we found." Coulson said.
"Hmm. All right. I'll lead you to the village." Kakashi said.
"All right let's move out." Marcus said as they moved out.
Arriving at the village gates they looked around.
"Damn. Nice place." Cole said.
"It's home for us." Kakashi said smiling behind his mask.
"Is this the main village or are there others?" Mundi asked.
"There are five nations of this world. This is the land of Fire home of the Leaf village. The other nations are of the Land of Wind with the Sand Village. The Land of of Earth with the stone village. The Land of Lightning which has the Cloud village. And finally the land of water which has the Mist village." Kakashi said.
"Are those the only villages?" Mace asked.
"No, there are smaller villages like the Waterfall village and others like Grass, Rain, Star and so on. Each village is different from one another. But only the five nations have a Kage which means shadow and leader of the villages of the five nation." Kakashi said.
"So what kind do you got?" Marcus asked.
"That would be the Hokage." Kakashi said as they made it to a building. "Welp. I'm sure Lord third will be interested in this alliance." Kakashi said.
Inside
The Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi was signing papers when someone knocked.
"Enter." Hiruzen said before Kakashi walked in with the others much to his surprise. "Kakashi. Who are they?" Hiruzen asked.
"Would you believe if I said from another planet?" Kakashi said surprising him.
"It's no joke. We're from several different planets. Earth, Sera, Mandolore and various others." Crysis said stepping forward.
"Oh? And why are you here?" Hiruzen asked.
"We're from a galactic or rather two galactic system government called the Republic. We've been going planet by planet the last 3 years finding more systems to join." Mace said.
"And you want our World Elementia to join?" Hiruzen asked.
"There are a lot of benefits to joining us. Technology, Resources, Medicine. Maybe even have the entire world united." Bo-Katen said.
"Hmm. That might be more difficult than you think. But I am interested to see how they might react." Hiruzen said.
Later
Hiruzen and his council were assembled.
"So this Republic wishes for us to join?" Koharu asked.
"We're trying to see anyone who will join us since a united universe has less chance of conflict." Coulson said.
"Indeed it does." Homura said.
"Still it's rather sudden you appear when all these problems are happening." Koharu said confusing them.
"Meaning?" Garret asked.
"As of Late several villagers both Shinobi and Civilian alike have all been disappearing." Hiruzen said.
"We only just learned about this place this morning." Dom said.
"So you can't be responsible then since this has been going on for months now." Homura said.
"We'll help out." Crysis said as they left.
"I believe we shouldn't even consider joining this Republic." Danzo said firmly.
"And what about all the benefits it would bring?" Hiashi asked.
"Irrelevant. Send them away." Danzo said.
"No. If this SHIELD organization can prove to find out who's responsible for all this...Then we will join them and I will call for a meeting of the Kages to explain the situation." Hiruzen said making him scowl.
Later
Everyone had met up at some training ground.
"Everyone that disappeared...They all had one thing in common." Anya said.
"Let me guess? A person?" Crysis asked leaning on a training post.
"Yeah. Some guy named Orochimaru. Supposedly, he's one of the best in the village. Even during the last war they had." Baird said.
"People noticed he's been acting strange lately." Dom said.
"That can't be a coincidence." Crysis said before tossing up a probe droid to scan the area. "If he's operating on people he would be outside the village." Crysis said.
"He's supposed to be the old man's student. He might not like how we're hunting down his own protege." Sam said.
"Perhaps not. But if we bring proof that he's student is responsible." Crysis said before getting an alert showing some base not far.
"Oh boy." Baird said.
"Let's go." Crysis said as they left.
Meanwhile
Orochimaru was in the middle of an experiment when the doors were blown off surprising him as he turned seeing the gears and Crysis.
"So...The Republic greets me? I'm surprised." Orochimaru said grinning.
"So you are responsible for all this crap." Marcus said aiming at him.
"I suppose you could say that." Orochimaru said amused.
"Theres no way you alone could do all this without getting caught. So you have friends in high places. I'm willing to bet anything it was that Danzo guy." Clayton Carmine said.
"My my. You people are smarter than he gave credit. He doesn't want you gone because he doesn't like alliances. He wants you gone because he sees your ideals as weak. That it would weaken the village. But he always was too quick to judge in my view." Orochimaru said.
"Enough. Hands behind your head." Crysis said making him laugh.
"And what makes you think you can take me down...AAGH!" Orochimaru yelled in pain as he dashed at him slamming him into the table hard making him cough up blood.
"I wasn't asking." Crysis said before stunning him as he gasped in surprise before falling over.
"That was kinda too easy." Cole said.
Crysis frowned before throwing him into a wall turning to mud shocking them.
"You can't fool me that easy." Crysis said making Orochimaru laugh as he appeared in the doorway surprising them.
"Aren't you just special." Orochimaru said as they aimed at him.
Thats when ANBU arrived as did Hiruzen.
"I was hoping I was dead wrong about all this." Hiruzen said.
"So you knew or suspected." Crysis said.
"Both. But I had so hoped I was wrong." Hizuen said making Orochimaru chuckle.
"Always sentimental. Aren't you Sensei." Orochimaru said before Marcus and Dom fired at him making him yell in surprise as he was hit. "Solid Projectiles?" Orchimaru asked in shock.
"They're called bullets dumbass." Baird said making hims seethe before bolting.
"He's getting away!" Clayton yelled as they chased him down with Crysis and Hiruzen in the lead.
Orochimaru growled before setting off explosives making Crysis and Hiruzen stop as their way collapsed.
"Damnit!" Cole yelled before Crysis blasted a way out to the surface.
"Goddamnit!" Crysis yelled.
"Well, at least we know another bad guy to go after." Sam said.
"Hmm?" Hiruzen asked.
Later
"This is absurd!" Danzo yelled as he struggled against the gears holding him.
"Give it up." Crysis said in front of him making him growl. "Orochimaru gave you up." Crysis said shocking him. "Probably thought it would be easy against me and my team. It wasn't. Now...You're gonna tell me everything." Crysis said grabbing his head making him grunt in pain. "Everything." Crysis said as his visor glowed in different colors making him groan.
Later
All of Danzo's root ninja were being arrested for crimes agains the village.
But that wasn't the only thing.
Hiruzen smiled seeing Kushina with her daughter Naruko.
It turned out that Danzo had kidnapped Kushina to have Naruko used as a weapon to his own needs.
"Why take her away from her daughter?" Marcus asked.
"Naruko...Holds the Nine tailed Fox that attacked the village 11 years ago. Her father was the Fourth Hokage. He sealed it in her for her to control." Hiruzen said.
"And people know and hate her." Crysis said.
"Sadly yes. Danzo leaked that intel out. But now maybe things will be better." Hiruzen said.
"And the other villages?" Coulson asked.
"They are on their way right now." Hiruzen said.
Later
All five Kage had been assembled in a meeting room.
The Raikage Ay, The Kazekage Rasa, The Tsuchikage Onoki And the Mizukage Mei.
"This is a very unique surprise. A galaxy wide government wanting all of us to join." Rasa said.
"I still don't think all our ninja will accept this so suddenly." Onoki said.
"If I may request...All your guards to leave the room for a few minutes...Theres something you need to know and I prefer to have this spoken with the highest authority only." Coulson said surprising them before they left along with Marcus and Delta leaving only the Kage, Coulson, Garret and Crysis said.
"Whats going on?" Ay asked.
"Theres a crisis you need to be aware of...3 years ago after the invasion of the planet Naboo...We learned something horrifying." Crysis said.
"And that is?" Mei asked.
"First let me explain more about myself and my original team." Crysis said before his armor vanished surprising them he was only 13.
"You're just a child." Aye said surprised.
"The armor makes me look like an adult. Anyway...My original team which consists of my brothers and two best friends...Were created to fight something far worse than any of the tailed beasts." Sean said.
"I find that difficult to believe. We've all seen what any of them are capable of doing." Onoki said.
"Well, imagine something even worse. My original team and I were created by what is known as the Sith empire. Or at least former members." Sean said.
"I recall Mace mentioning them before. The opposite of the Jedi I believe." Hiruzen said.
"So their war mongers." Ay said.
"Yes. And they arrived in this galaxy through a worm hole. They figured they could conquer it easily but then...they learned about a power far greater than anything else. The Infinity stones." Sean said.
"What are these stones exactly?" Mei asked.
"There are six. They hold an essential aspect of existence. Reality, Power, Soul, Mind, Space and Time." Sean said.
"I take it they found one of the six." Ay said.
"The Time stone. They were gonna use it to to go back to their galaxy and conquer the Republic. They could use it to learn which battles would be won and which ones wouldn't and how to win them. It could show them the future. But...In doing so they learned a terrible future far ahead of their time." Sean said worrying them.
"And what future is that?" Onoki asked.
"A man named Thanos from a now Dead planet...Intends to use all six stones to wipe out half of all life in the universe." Coulson said shocking them.
"For what purpose? Theres nothing to be gained from that!" Rasa yelled in disbelief.
"In our view there isn't. In his though. You see his planet suffered from overpopulation. They dried up resources. They were facing a huge problem. Then he offered a solution." Coulson said.
"Genocide." Hiruzen theroized.
"But random. Dispassionate for rich and power alike. They called him a madman. In the end his prediction came to pass. Now...He wants to prevent other worlds from suffering the same fate. So as of now he's going world by world wiping out half the population in order to prevent that. But he knows he can't do it on all of them since he doesn't have the means to travel to other galaxies and eventually his army would die out from too many battles. So he is seeking the other option." Sean said.
"He wants to use all six stones to finish his mission. No matter what." Ay said before standing up. "Does SHIELD have any of these stones?" Ay asked.
"One. The Space stone better known as the Cosmic cube. We're trying to use it to make weapons. But we've reached a dead end in that research." Garret said.
"Thats the real reason we're going planet by planet. To gather as many allies to fight against him." Sean said.
"Hmm." Ay said.
"I think this all the reason we need to join the Republic." Mei said.
"I agree." Rasa said.
"Hmm. Some of my Shinobi may have some issues...But I'm sure in time it can fade away." Onoki said.
"Why not just destroy the stones?" Aye asked.
"Before we get into that understand once the Sith learned about this they tried that and sough out all six stones...But only acquired five of the six. The Soul stone was beyond their reach." Sean said.
"In another galaxy?" Hiruzen asked.
"Nope. It's in this one but the requirements are...Well, I doubt anyone here would be willing to sacrifice the person they love most for it." Sean said.
"A soul for a soul." Ay said.
"Yeah. They thought of millions of other ideas...All of them ended up in failure. They know because of the time stone. Finally another idea was put up. They would create people to fight agains him with great powers and abilities." Sean said.
"You mean your original team." Mei said in realization.
"Yeah. We were released 8 years ago and have been training since and then 3 years ago the truth was told by my biological father or at least a copy of him. He told us everything. Our DNA is based off the most powerful members of the Sith." Sean said.
"Why would they want to help the universe instead of conquering it?" Onoki asked.
"Because Thanos's actions would end up destroying everything in years to come. And no one wins in that situation." Sean said.
"So they used five of the six stones to make them. Thats how they have all these abilities and powers. New members only have the armor, Enhanced senses and strength and mobility. We're trying to get ready for him." Coulson said.
"Why not just take the fight to him now?" Ay asked.
"1 we don't know where he is it's a big galaxy and have only mapped out at least 2% of it. Second we don't have the kind of numbers at the moment to go head to head with him. And finally if we do attack and fail...He'll know we're onto his schemes and he may end up accelerating his plans." Garret said.
"I see." Rasa said seeing it was a lose situation no matter how they went at it.
"Mmm. All right. I say I speak for everyone here that we will join the Republic." Ay said seeing they stood no chance without him.
"Good. And we'll need to get the smaller villages involved too." Coulson said.
Later
Sean was in the village seeing everything around.
"Huh. No wonder this place is so well liked." Sean said.
"Ah, you must be one of those SHIELD agents."
Sean turned seeing a man in Shinobi clothing with some symbol on him.
"And you are?" Sean asked.
"Fugaku Uchiha. Captain of the Leaf police force." Fugaku said shaking his hand.
"Oh. I heard about you guys. One of the village clan founders." Sean said.
"Yes back during Madara's time. And Because of you Danzo can't make things difficult for us anymore." Fugaku said leading him away.
Arriving at the Uchiha compound Sean took a seat.
"So Danzo has been causing trouble beforehand." Sean said.
"What do you know about the Nine tails?" Fugaku asked.
"Not much. Just that it attacked 11 years ago." Sean said.
"Well, for paranoid but understandable reasons...He believes one of us did it." Fugaku said.
"Hmm?" Sean asked.
"There are only two ways that can control a tailed beast. One with these." Fugaku said showing the same red eyes that Kakashi had in his left eye.
"I've seen Kakashi with that in his left eye." Sean said.
"That belonged to his old teammate Obito who died in the last war. His body was finally recovered and brought back. It's called the Sharingan. It's what we call a Visual jutsu. It's one of the ways someone can control a tailed beast." Fugaku said.
"And the other?" Sean asked.
"That would be the first Hokage's wood style. But no one has it anymore." Fugaku said.
"Damn." Sean said.
"Danzo has been trying a lot to pin the blame solely on us because he thinks someone in the clan was responsible for that event." Fugaku said.
"And you?" Sean asked.
"Well, I don't know to be honest. It's possible but I doubt it." Fugaku said.
"I have ways to find out if you let us. At least it would weed out anyone of suspicion." Sean said.
"I can get everyone assembled at a later date." Fugaku said before someone Sean's age walked in.
"Oh hello."
"This is my Son Itachi. He's part of the Leaf's ANBU Black ops. Not easy to get into at his age." Fugaku said proudly.
"Really? SHIELD is always looking for talent like that." Sean said.
"So I've heard. After exposing Danzo and Orochimaru I hear a lot of people are signing up to SHIELD. You guys seem to be pretty well liked." Itachi said.
"Well, theres a reason for that. We're pretty admired after helping to free the planet Naboo and exposing a Sith plot to take over the Republic. So naturally that leaves a big impression." Sean said.
"And what about Orochimaru?" Fugaku asked.
"We'll find him eventually." Sean said.
"Hopefully soon. My cousin Sarada and Satsuki were always afraid of him." Itachi said.
"Hmm?" Sean asked.
"They're my brother's kids with his wife Mikoto. He passed away 5 years ago from disease." Fugaku said.
"I see." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Orochimaru was not pleased.
Everything had fallen apart so easily because of SHIELD and the Crysis unit.
"I'll make sure you pay for this Crysis." Orochimaru said.
"I can help with that."
Orochimaru widened his eyes turning to see Zemo.
"Orochimaru I presume. You and I have a common enemy." Zemo said.
Meanwhile
Sean sighed as he rested in a chair.
"You look tired." T'Challa said walking in.
Currently he was in Wakanda visiting Shuri and taking a break.
"I need a serious vacation." Sean said.
"You always say that." Shuri said walking in.
"Yeah because of the crap I have to go through. I almost miss the days when it was just Earth business." Sean said making her laugh. "I would like to go someplace I haven't gone before with something unexpected." Sean said.
Little did he know he actually would get just that.
Author's Note: Now we get into the mystery series that will be a minor part of this story. I'm sure you can probably guess what it is based on this one single Line. Life will find a way. Best Line ever. But for now I'll be taking a break from updating since apparently the glitch is still here and I'm getting content PMs about why chapters aren't showing.
