"Welcome to the Playground." Chad watched as the cat kicked open the door to the warehouse they were standing in front of before raising an eyebrow at the empty warehouse in front of them.
"Um…is it supposed to be invisible?" Tatsuki asked as they walked into the nearly empty warehouse, glancing at the three metal barrels scattered across the flooring with a crate or the odd metal box here and there.
"No. Urahara was supposed to make me my own training field, but apparently, I'm not important enough." The three teens were confused at the cat grumbling to itself but decided to stay quiet lest they get scratched as Yoruichi took a deep breath before letting it out.
"Anyway, with our new training ground, I can help you three figure out your abilities before I can call you three adequate enough to accompany Ichigo on his quest to the Soul Society. Now, call out your abilities." The cat spoke and Chad nodded as the Brazo Derecha de Gigante appeared on his right arm, still a bit bewildered at the drastic change his arm had undertaken before looking over at Tatsuki and Orihime to see if they've activated theirs.
However, he was confused as Tatsuki struggled a bit to activate hers while Orihime struggled from a while before she called out her six pixies to the front.
"So, you two struggle a bit to activate yours, huh?" Yoruichi asked as it nodded at Chad, who nodded back as Tatsuki gave a hesitant sigh and nod while Orihime had a sheepish smile on her face as she nodded.
"Yeah, I can activate mine nine out of ten times while Orihime is more like seven out of ten times."
"Huh, not bad for a pair of newbies to be honest, but your abilities are not the regular Shinigami ones nor do I understand how they came to be, so…Chad! How did you master yours?" The cat asked as it looked over at the tall teen, who noticed Orihime and Tatsuki focusing their attention on him as he shrugged before answering.
"Train to keep it activated for as long as possible and then when it deactivates, you force it to activate it over and over until you can do it in your sleep." He answered bluntly, the two girls waiting for him to say it was a joke before being surprised as Yoruichi chuckled and nodded.
"The old 'Force it until it works' method, eh? Sounds like a reasonable one. Girls, looks like you two have your training for the next day."
"Uh, I can barely keep mine up for a few minutes."
"S-Same here." Orihime added to Tatsuki's words, to which the cat simply rolled its eyes as it jumped off before being obscured by a cloud of smoke, the smoke fading away only for Chad's eyes to widen and both Tatsuki and Orhime to gasp with bright red faces as a beautiful dark-skinned woman stood in front of them with her naked curvaceous body in full view.
"What? Never seen a woman before?" Yoruichi asked with an amused smirk as she walked over to one of the crates off to the side, Chad finally snapping out of his shock as he turned his head to look in the opposite direction of her to give her space to get dressed while Tatsuki sputtered.
"Y-Y-You can't do that and expect us to treat it like it's something normal!" The girl exclaimed and Yoruichi rolled her eyes as she put on a simple black bodysuit that had the back & shoulders open along with a dark orange and white jacket around her body.
"What I did is something you should consider normal from now on and also, I was making an example for you all."
"W-What example is that?" Chad asked before Tatsuki could explode even more, the girl in question gnashing her teeth while Yoruichi smirked even as she had a slightly disappointed look on her face.
"You said that you guys could barely keep your abilities activated for a few minutes, correct? I've been keeping up that cat transformation for the past decade and I feel no worse for wear. Chad, how long can you keep that up?" She asked while ignoring the shocked looks from the girls, Chad just as surprised before her question registered and he answered.
"About three hours at most if I'm not fighting."
"And if you're fighting?"
"Thirty minutes at most." It was a slight lie as that was his time before the whole system update and he absorbed all of those Hollows so he didn't know how long it was now, but it seemed to appease Yoruichi as she nodded before turning to the girls who had finally snapped from their shock.
"See what I mean? If you want to be able to help Ichigo save Rukia, your life of being afraid of pain is now over. If you can't push through the pain to break your limits, then I'm not going to let you two train here, understood?"
"Y-Yes!" Orihime agreed with a determined nod, surprising Tatsuki as she looked at her friend before smiling softly and nodding.
"Understood!" She nodded and Yoruichi smirked before at the side of the warehouse.
"Well, until you two can keep your abilities up for an hour and activate it every time you want to, I want you, Tatsuki, to attack Orihime while your job is to defend yourself."
"Okay." Tatsuki and Orihime nodded as they walked to the side, Chad watching them walk away before turning right as he heard Yoruichi clear her throat, looking at her to see her smiling while stretching her arms above her head.
"So, what do I do?"
"I'm certain you can figure it out. You're doing the same thing that they are, but in your case, you have to try and hit me once." She said as she rested a hand on her hip and Chad frowned slightly as he felt as she was underestimating him.
Shifting his vision for a quick second, he hummed as he saw her information before nodding as he raised his hands into a basic boxing stance, to which Yoruichi simply hummed before gesturing for him to being.

With a grunt, he didn't waste any time as he dashed across the floor, Yoruichi smirking as she moved back when he swung at her face before sliding under his hook punch.
Chad quickly lifted a knee that Yoruichi stopped with a finger before falling as he pulled it away and surprising Chad as the woman fell into a split the moment he tried to land a cross.
Slamming his right arm down, Yoruichi spun around the fist while wrapping her legs around his neck, surprising Chad with her strength as she heaved and threw him into a barrel with an easygoing smile.
"You got a rudimentary grasp on the basics, but your fighting style is less boxing and more you trying to emulate kick-boxing." She spoke as she turned around to face Chad, who was lying on the dented barrel while staring in surprise at the screen floating in front of him.
Boxing(Advanced) has been renamed and replaced to Street Brawling(Advanced).
'…The same happened when Tsukishima explained the difference between Fullbring and my Spiritual Energy Manipulation that caused them to become one skill. Does that mean that the skills are based on what I know of them?' The more Chad used the System, the more he wondered just where it came from.
Like who is this Soul King and why did it decide to give it to him?
'Not like I can do anything about it now, but I have to see if Mr. Urahara perhaps knows something of it.' Chad thought with a frown as he rolled over out of the barrel and onto his feet, turning around to stare with narrowed eyes as Yoruichi right before an orange glow covered his body.
The next moment, he heard Orihime squeal and Tatsuki's surprised shout as an explosion sent him blasting towards Yoruichi, who looked amused at his frontal assault as Chad boosted his speed even more and unleashed a flurry of punches at her.
However, his frown deepened as she easily moved around his attacks without even looking at him, her eyes closed as she spun around and under a hook before landing a harsh kick to his left side.
Now, Chad was used to getting kicked in the side by Jackie, especially when she was hitting him with some added momentum thanks to her usage of elasticising the air around her.
Yoruichi's kick blew anything she did out of the water as he felt the impact rippling through his body, but he quickly wrapped his left arm around her leg before smashing his
"Sorry about that, but that's to give you the taste of the pain that awaits you all if you guys don't take this seriously. Also, like I said, you have the basics down, but you attack more than you defend which I feel is not in your nature. So, take a breather and we'll try again, okay?"
"Y-Yeah." Chad breathed out as he slowly stood up, taking a few deep breaths and wincing with each one as it felt as if Yoruichi had bruised a rib or two with her last attack.
With a last deep breath, Chad frowned as he sat down and looked at his arm, his status screen appearing above it before he subtly clicked on the skill and read the entry.
Brazo Derecha de Gigante(Right Arm of the Giant): By envisioning the need to protect your loved ones, your skin is coated in a dense layer of Reishi drawn from the atmosphere by the necklace around your neck that transforms your skin into a reddish-black armour.
This armour can be used to augment your punches and defeat your foes or transform into a defensive shield form to block and store the kinetic energy of blows or blasts impacting it.
'…Wait, what?' Chad thought in surprise as he read that last past over, doing it again a few times as his eyes widened and he stood up.
Gathering Reishi and his Reiryoku to his right fist, he grunted as he threw a punch that unleashed a slow blast of spiritual energy, rushing past it and coming to a sliding stop while activating the defensive form of his ability.
To his shocked gaze, the armour around his body stretched out into a heater-shield with a large hexagonal plate from the top of his wrist up to his shoulder and the same intricate pattern from before.
On the front of the shield, he saw a skeletal nose and eye patterns with a Hollow-like teeth pattern at the centre and as the blast impacted the shield, his eyes widened as the blast was swiftly absorbed and part of the shield lit up with a light blue glow.
"Throw it at me." Chad looked up as Yoruichi spoke up, the woman standing in front of him with an amused smirk and he nodded as Brazo Derecha de Gigante transformed back into its attack form right as he swung his fist, the large blast he absorbed having grown a bit in size as it flew directly towards the dark-skinned Shinigami.
He was not surprised however, as she spun with her leg raised high before axe-kicking it directly into the ground in front of her, a smirk on her face as she nodded before looking at Chad staring back at her.
"Good work. Now, time to throw a few more."
Chad grunted as he blocked a dropkick from Tatsuki, the energy of her kick being absorbed by the shield that he transferred to his other arm along with drawing Reishi from the atmosphere around him.
He frowned as Tatsuki did the same while skating out of the way, a rapid breeze following in her wake as she skated around the floor area of the warehouse while Chad continued to charge up his fist.
The next moment however, Chad quickly transferred the energy from his fist to his right foot before bringing it down with a stomp that sent a shockwave rippling across the surface, Tatsuki quickly leaping up right before her eyes widened as Chad appeared in front of her, curling into a ball right as Chad's armoured fist crashed into her and sent her rolling backwards.
"And stop!" Yoruichi's shout echoed throughout the empty warehouse, Chad stopping himself from dashing forward while dismissing the concentrated energy around his right leg as Tatsuki rolled over onto her feet with a frown.
"Don't look so down, Tatsuki. Compared to the fact that Chad used to knock you out with one punch ten days ago, you've improved a lot. Also, Chad, I see you've taken my advice in not letting up even if your foe is down, huh?" Chad nodded at Yoruichi's question with a smile as Tatsuki dismissed the now bright gold aura around her fist while undoing the sash tied around her waist, sighing in relief as Orihime's barrier covered her and healed her wounds.
"Thanks, Hime." Tatsuki thanked her friend and she nodded with a smile before turning to Chad and restoring his wounds as well, to which the tall teen simply thanked her with a nod even if most of his wounds had finished healing thanks to his High-Speed Regeneration.

While he had not grown that much in terms of pure powers, his skills and abilities on the other hand had undergone a significant growth thanks to the teachings of Yoruichi and the orthodox fighting style of Tatsuki.
He was used to the erratic and untrained fights against the street thugs of Karakura Town as well as the chaotic different fighting styles of Jackie and Kūgo so getting used to the trained katas of Tatsuki took him a while to get used to.
He did not train much with his Hollow abilities however as he could only do it in secret and it was mostly just him opening and closing portals in space or slowly restoring the injuries of his training at night.
Hierro on the other hand had grown exponentially thanks to the fact that he always kept it up during training and even when he was just doing his summer homework back in his apartment, thankful for the fact that he didn't even have to concentrate anymore since he trained hours to make sure it would stay activated even when he slept.
That's not to mention the fact that thanks to both Yoruichi and Tatsuki, he decided to finally learn parts of different martial arts to learn some simple mixed martial arts, having decided to add kicks, elbow strikes and knee strikes into his fighting style since his punches were starting to become predictable.

He had also decided to look at Tatsuki and Orihime and was a bit confused as while the girls had grown much stronger than they were before, he was confused at how his growth was a lot faster compared to theirs.
Then again, he had this system that most likely boosted his learning speed so it would be rather unfair to compare them against his own growth.
However, today was their final day as they had to rest for the week before finally heading towards the Soul Society, the three of them looking at Yoruichi as she leapt into the air before transforming back into her cat-like form.
"I have to say that you three were probably some of my favourite students that I have trained."
"Probably?" Tatsuki asked with a raised eyebrow and Chad smirked slightly as Yoruichi gave the girl an amused look.
"Yes, probably. You're going to have to work hard to replace that top spot, but no need to worry about that. Anyway, you three have the week off and there's that festival next week so go enjoy life. After next week, though, prepare yourself for gruelling battles and struggles for victory, understood?"
"Yes, Yoruichi-sensei!" They all chorused, to which the cat nodded before vanishing with a leap, the three taking relieved breaths before Chad blinked as he felt someone tugging his shirt, looking down at Orihime who was smiling up at him.
"Tatsuki and I were going to see if Ichigo is up to hang out yet. Do you wish to come with?" She asked before her smile dimmed slightly as Chad smiled and shook his head.
"I have…something to take care of first."
"O-Okay, guess it's just us two." Orihime said as she turned to her friend who shrugged before the two of them left the warehouse, Chad taking a deep breath as he followed out after them and closed the door behind him.
Covering his body in a dark orange glow, he was a blur as he leapt into the air before skating through it towards the edge of the town.
However, he quickly gathered reishi at his hands before tearing a hole open midair in space, leaping through it and snapping the hole shut behind him right as he created another platform below him and opened another one that led to a vast desert filled with white sand.
Closing that portal behind him as well, Chad activated Brazo Derecha de Gigante and let his Reiatsu ripple across the landscape, not having to wait long before the first dozen Hollows erupted from the ground below and bulldozed towards him with hungry roars.
Readying himself, an orange aura covered his foot as the first leapt at him before spinning and landing an explosive heel kick to the side of the beast's skull, not caring for it falling past with its head missing as he leapt at the second one and pulled a fist back before unleashing a devastating explosion with his punch that vaporized the beast in an instant.
'I must be stronger, strong enough to stand at the side of my friend.' Chad thought with a frown as he felt his body absorbing the energy of the beasts before jumping back into the fray with a smirk as he readied himself for the next bout.
All to protect his loved ones.
A/N: And the short chapter of the training done. The next, we're jumping directly into the battles as we head to the Soul Society~! I was going to add that part into this chapter, but I decided to save it until next chapter along with the entry into the Seireitei itself.
Also, Chad is slowly changing in personality and becoming more vocal the more power he gains as he becomes more and more confident in his ability to protect his loved ones and defeat their enemies.
But I wonder just how that would change him in the future? I guess we'll see.
