I don't know how I came up with this, but I'm guessing it was my imagination envisioning how a new era of Hetalia could begin if there was a reboot.
The lyrics you're about to read are original, written by me. But if you want to put it to a melody, I was actually inspired by the song "Moon Pride", the opening theme of the first and second seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal.
Also, a bit of a disclaimer: this story contains a fictionalized version of a real-life person, but that's honestly something that already happens a lot in Hetalia, considering the show deals with history with a lot of fictionalized interpretations of real-life people. Just wanted to give the full disclosure!

September was the month of the United Nations General Assembly's annual meeting of 2023. The ambassadors of every nation in the world came together at the well-known building in New York City of the United States to discuss about invoking the Sustainable Development Goals to combat climate change, the future of health coverage after the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the level of redefining the importance of improving methods for the future generation.
The meeting was about to come to an end when Secretary-General António Guterres stood at the front of the room to address the assembly.
"Ambassadors of the world, before we adjourn this meeting, it is my honor and privilege to present to you a new song that is about to be released to the public, sung by our World 8 national personifications."
Everyone looked to the large screen with respect and anticipation as the video began to play.
Light shines around an image of the round earth with its green lands and blue oceans, then the silhouettes of eight men appear one by one as they each turn to the camera with a kind and smiling face.
[All] Nation pride
Reach far and wide
Do whatever it takes to be strong
The World 8's flags fly around their respective countries' outlines before cutting to transitional clips of each of the personifications standing in an area of their home with its iconic landscapes.
[Japan] There are many things that I just want to know
[America] But I always feel like I need to be the hero
[France] Want to keep on spreading love for you and me
[China] And make sure it lasts for eternity
[Italy] No matter the problems [Japan/France] (If I can't figure it out)
[Italy] I'll always be there for you [America/China] (I'll overcome doubt)

Italy suddenly starts running desperately while the other seven have despairing looks on their faces.
[Britain] I've lived for such a long time as I've seen the environment change around me
[Germany] Sometimes I wanted assistance to become full-grown
[All] But truthfully, I've done it all alone
The World 8 smile contently as images of their landmarks appear around them.
[All] Draw a circle in celebration
Embrace the earth with the touch of your hand
I'm not just a simple representation
I'm doing everything to maintain a land
Italy stops running when the figure of his child-self, the little boy whom most people thought was a girl because of the green maid's dress he always wore, appears in front of him. They try to reach out for each other, but Chibitalia fades away. The scene cuts back to the World 8 in their homes where they slowly start forming expressions of determination.
[Germany] Don't want to be out of order or senseless
[Russia] But I often find myself fighting darkness
[Britain] I try to believe things will get better
[Italy] So there can be moments to surrender
[America] But whenever there's trouble [Russia/Italy] (You can't make me stop)
[America] You know I'll always fight for you [Germany/Britain] (I'll rise to the top)
[America] Keep living [All] For the world, ah-ah
Italy skips playfully as he drags the other seven to come together as they all laugh happily in each other's presence.
[Japan] My glorious and unique power allows me to adapt to everything
[China] It proves that I can be a powerful being when I can
[All] While at the same time, living as a human
The scene suddenly shifts to each of them showcasing their powerful glory: China and his dragons, Russia and his snowy winter, France and his rose petals of love as he brandishes his sword, Britain and his magic, America and his super-strength as the ground cracks beneath him with his people at his command surrounding him, Japan and his martial arts moves with his katana as the sun shines behind him, and Germany and his military tanks as he stands still with his intimidating aura.
[All] Draw a circle, spinning freely
Rest the whole night 'til you see the dawn
I've been changing myself throughout history
As I keep finding the strength to live on
Italy finally has his turn as he holds a chitarra battente, strumming it professionally as swirls of power dance around him.
[America] Regardless of all the spite
[Russia] Or the flames that ignite
[America] I never [America/Russia] Want to be apart
[France] We've always been family
[Italy] It transcends humanity
[France] And I feel it [France/Italy] Deep in my heart
Chibitalia and his childhood sweetheart, the long-lost Holy Roman Empire, stand in front of each other when both figures change to adult Italy and Germany. They smile at each other as they come together for a loving kiss.
[Germany] No matter how many years pass
Even if it takes over a thousand
You'll always be the one I love the most
The World 8 stand in their designated friendship groups that came from World War Two.
[Former Allies] Draw a circle; this is our fate
We're still who we are [All] In both loss and in gain
[Former Axis] We've managed to survive times of hate
[All] So our worldly bond can go against pain
All eight come together again as they begin confidently running to the horizon.
[All] Come on and draw a circle when you're willing
Despite what you say, I'll still make my move
The love for our people is why we keep living
And I'll always fight for something to prove
They stop as they surround a giant globe, reaching out and touching their hands caringly to it.
[All] Hey, personifications of the world
We're not useless
Clips of the rest of the world's national personifications flash by quickly, showing the usual chaos and randomness that happens in their lives, then it officially ends with a shot of Italy holding his white flag as he winks at the camera.
The assembly applauded and cheered at the presentation before Guterres stood up again.
"Please take the time to listen to this song and heed to its message to show support for our beloved nations."
The UN ambassadors stated their affirmations. They were all determined to continue doing their duty to loyally serve their nations.
