Chapter 14: Secrets, Discoveries, and Shadows
Today At Magic School, the Halliwell family finally enjoyed a rare moment of peace. Piper had organized a retreat to let everyone recharge amid their growing troubles.
One of the rooms was alive with laughter. Wyatt and Chris chased their younger sister Melinda, magical orbs zipping through the air as Melinda squealed and darted around. Piper sat on a nearby bench, watching them with a mix of pride and worry.
"You'd think they didn't have a care in the world," she murmured, her voice tinged with longing.
Leo sat beside her, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "That's how it should be. Let them be kids for now."
Piper sighed but nodded. "They're growing up too fast. I just wish their lives didn't have to be filled with so much… danger."
"They've got us," Leo said with quiet confidence. "We'll make sure they're safe."
Nearby, Phoebe and Coop sat in large sofa, watching their daughters PJ, Parker, and baby Peyton is sleeping while the two practice teleportation under their father's guidance. Phoebe smiled
"They'll figure it out," Coop said, placing a hand on Phoebe's.
"I know," Phoebe replied, though her smile faded slightly. Her mind was still weighed down by the prophecy and the looming dangers.
"You're thinking about the scroll again, aren't you?" Coop asked softly.
Phoebe nodded. "I can't shake it. I already understand it , but the question how we will start, our power is declining, we have no contacts with the elders, and lastly how can we find Prue , if she really alive,. It feels like everything is building to something, and we're running out of time."
Coop kissed her forehead. "We'll get through it—together."
Meanwhile, Paige and Henry played with their twins, Tamora and Kat, while baby Henry Jr. gurgled in his stroller. Kat grinned mischievously as she levitated a rock above her sister's head.
"They're definitely got your side of magic," Henry joked, grinning at Paige as she smirked. "You think?"
Henry chuckled, pulling her close. "Whatever it is, they're incredible."
For now, the Halliwell's allowed themselves to bask in the warmth of family, even if it was only temporary.
Penelope's Discovery
Back in San Francisco, Penelope "Grams" Halliwell arrived at Victor's apartment, as knock the door, she having sensed something unusual that why she followed her daughter secretly there, She found Victor and Patricia talking in hushed voices, their faces filled with unease.
"Victor, what's going on?" Grams demanded, her sharp gaze narrowing.
Victor hesitated before gesturing toward the living room, where three children were playing. "Penelope… meet Adrianna, Andrea, and Andrew. They're Prue and Andy's kids."
Grams froze, her eyes widening. "Prue's children? But… how? She's—"
"She's alive," Victor interrupted, his voice low. "Andy saved her. But the Elders forbade her from returning to the family. She's been in hiding all these years."
Grams stared at him, the weight of the revelation settling over her. "And now?"
Victor sighed. "Prue and Andy disappeared. I found their children alone, and I couldn't just leave them." Thanks to Hannah , she inform me what happened to Prue, that why I travel to their place to get them.
Grams walked into the living room, where Adrianna was flipping through a book. Andrea held up a drawing of her family, and Andrew toddled holding his toy car, Grams smiled softly but felt a pang of sadness.
"We'll keep them safe," she said finally, turning back to Victor. "But this secret won't stay hidden forever, Victor. Sooner or later, the family will need to know."
Victor nodded reluctantly. "I know. But for now, they need us."
Paige's Underworld Investigation
Determined to uncover more about the Triad and Inara, Paige ventured into the Underworld alone, casting a cloaking spell over herself.
In the shadowy caverns, she overheard demons discussing Inara's plans.
"She's targeting the Nexuses," one demon hissed. "If she activates them all, the mortal realm will collapse into chaos."
Paige's heart raced. A Nexus was a rare, powerful source of magical energy. If Inara controlled multiple Nexuses, the consequences would be catastrophic.
But as Paige tried to retreat, her cloaking spell flickered. A demon spotted her and launched an energy ball, forcing Paige to teleport out. She reappeared at the manor, shaken but determined.
"Inara's targeting Nexuses," she told Piper and Phoebe. "If she succeeds, it'll destabilize everything."
Piper's expression darkened. "We need to stop her. Now." But the problem is how, as her face look frighten
Prue and Andy's Journey
In the parallel world, Prue and Andy stood in a warped version of the world they knew, they were at house where they stayed last time. The air was heavy with magic, and Andy's heightened Grimm senses revealed glowing symbols etched into the walls.
"This world feels alive," Andy murmured, I can feel my power here Prue, unlike the first time, while he is tracing a symbol with his hand.
Prue frowned. "Do you think it's connecting to us?"
Andy nodded. "I think this place reacts to our emotions and memories. If we can figure out how it works, we might find a way back to our world."
As they explored the house, the symbols began to glow brighter. Andy reached out, and a surge of energy coursed through him.
"We're close," he said, his voice steady. "But we need to figure out what this place wants from us first. Till Prue saw a thing that familiar to her, a big tree beside the house that they stayed few years ago. And said Andy this tree is like the one we had at home, as Andy see and said yes you are right.
Billie's Return
While the sisters discussed their next move, a burst of light filled the attic. Billie Jenkins appeared, collapsing onto the floor, her body covered in burns.
"Billie!" Paige cried, rushing to her side.
Billie clutched at Paige's arm, her voice barely a whisper. "Christy… she's alive. She's working with them. You have to stop her…"
The sisters exchanged grim looks, realizing that their fight had only became harder.
Piper said , Triad ,Christy , Gideon and this Inara, how can we solve this one. as she look at her two sisters.
