Mo Ran turns around, extending his hand. A smaller, thinner hand in placed on top. He holds onto it securely. Not wanting to let go. Ever. Or have the hand slip through his fingers.

Mo Ran helps Wanning off the carriage. They look at the driver giving him a nod. The man only blushes. Slapping the rains to continue forward. Wanning looks confused but Mo Ran smirks. The man was staring at his wife the whole time. Of course Mo Ran didn't like that. Feeling possessive he may have fooled around with Wanning who thought a sound barrier was up. Mo Ran had tricked Wanning into believing that. He did put one up when Mo Ran couldn't handle the thought of the man listening to Wanning, knowing what Wanning sounds like getting teased.

What's done is done. Mo Ran had to entertain himself for three hours.

Now it's time. They walk arm in arm down the street. Taking their time to look at almost each vendor. Taking a moment to look in each shop. Browsing every book in a bookstore. Taking a break to eat some random stall food. They talk and laugh.

Having an actual date. Forgetting for a moment why they are there. But also enjoying the moment. Having fun as husband and wife.

Getting the attention of everyone as these two young masters enjoyed doing common people things. Unusual for a wealthy couple to be so close to the commoners without a servant. They also enjoy watching more than participate with the common folk. An unusual sight of such a happy couple together. Smiling beautifully towards each other. Standing so close to each other. Happily in love. Not many wealthy couples are this happy together. Most are forced.

They stand out. Wanning the most. Mo Ran help ensure his wife is occupied to notice people's eyes are on him. It's accidental but it helps.

They finally make their way to the inn. The couple walk in arm in arm. Wanning nibbling on some tonglu. As they walk to the desk the whispers start to quiet. Slowly eyes turn to them. The once noisy dining area going silent. Even the workers stop in their tracks. The woman at the desk stare at them with wide eyes.

"Hello. Is there a room available for my wife and I?" Mo Ran says pulling Wanning closer as he flash his charming smiling. "This place looks busy." Mo Ran says looking around. Wanning looks over to see how many people are here. It's mostly filled with men. From clothing style, all men are from very different walks of life.

Wanning looks back to the woman who seem stunned in place. Taking a look at Mo Ran then him. Over and over again. With those rumors going around it's understandable everyone is surprised to see a couple casually walk in here. They must look young and naive. Good. They need to look like easy targets. Well he does. Mo Ran is just back up. "You want to stay here?" She asks.

"Yes." Mo Ran smiles. Wanning nods, chewing. The desk worker looks at the two again. The husband happy while the wife is calm. Both clueless. How does she answer this?

The woman opens her mouth to turn them away but getting another look she can easily see the wealth coming from them. The woman has never seen so much gold before. Is there a way to turn them away kindly. These two must not get turned away often. Would they be upset? Would they even believe the truth? Can she tell them in front of so many people? Do they have the power to destroy this place? With only the last option left she gives her best customer service smile. "One moment. I'll get the owner." she runs off making the two wait. Enough for Wanning to finish his treat.

But not long. Chang Fang shows up, the woman behind him. Both looking nervous, they never told him when they'd show. Plus they spent most of the day in town exploring. Having a wonderful date. A thought Mo Ran smiles at. He looks at them, words dying in his throat. Understandable to be shocked about their appearance. Who wouldn't be? They look nothing like the day before.

"W-welcome." He gives them a strained smile.

"Is there a room available? My wife and I are tired from our travels." Mo Ran explains as dramatic as he can. Wanning can only stand beside him. Silent. With his eyes shut. Trying to get a good read on this place. He's no good with acting or talking.

"We have one room." The man say. The woman looks shocked. She's about to say something but Chang Fang stops her immediately.

"Thank you. We've never traveled before so it's all tiring." Mo Ran smiles.

"I'm sure. I hope you and your wife enjoy your stay here." He bows along with the woman. He gives her a look. She gives him a frown but turns to lead them to their room. The scene so easily makes it seem like the owner is money hungry. A good excuse.

They are on the second floor. A suite build in the middle of the second floor. Mostly given for rich couples to enjoy. It's large. A place for the wooden tub. For two, on one side, separated by a divider. A large round table enough to fit a family of five in the middle. A desk against the wall. Shelves with books, pottery, decorations and plants line most of the walls. A large bed to the other side. Curtains frame the bed. A large window open to the room, leaning more towards the bed.

They take a look around, the woman standing there. She seems to want to warn them, maybe convince them to leave but Mo Ran can't have that so he pulls Wanning into a deep kiss, placing his hands on his hips. It's as he's sliding his hands down that he hears a squeak and the door closing. He pulls away from the kiss finding Wanning deliciously red, eyes dazed and pink lips glossy from their saliva. With a smile he rests his forehead against Wannings, having to blow the jewel to the side first. As his wife collects themself he basks in his happiness. All day he's been calling Wanning his wife and boy does that feel good. Being able to announce to others their relationship. They've had so many people happily congratulate them.

He enjoys it and hopes it last.

"Anything?" Mo Ran asks, Wanning face is still red but his breath is even.

"Nothing feels unusual. It seems normal."

"No one had much to say about the history of this place either." Mo Ran adds thinking about everyone they talked to on their way here.

"We can't ask too much."

"Yeah, and it's getting late." Mo Ran points out looking out the window. The sun setting lower on the horizon. Wanning turns to take a look.

"Guess the only option is to be bait again." Wanning says softly not sure who or what is watching.

"Looks like it." Mo Ran agrees. He holds Wanning hand, he gives it a squeeze. Feeling better he looks at Wanning, the other focused on watching the sunset. "Shall we get diner in the hall downstairs." Mo Ran gets closer, whispering in the others ear, "maybe we'll hear something from another customer."

Wanning nods, ears red. There was no need for Mo Ran to try to convince him. He's sure the taller man just wants to tease him. Wanning falls for it each time. So easily teased.
