Beca arrived at her fifth-floor apartment that night and felt absolutely exhausted both mentally and physically. She entered and was greeted by her dog.

"Hey you're home late…or did you stop by your girlfriend and do the nasty?"

Beca didn't have the energy to correct her roommate that her 'friends with benefits' is not her girlfriend but just someone she slept with a couple of times.

"No, I didn't. I just got out of the office. I was stuffed with a shit ton ofwork" Beca went to go sit down on the couch where her roommate, Jesse, was currently sitting watching TV. She dropped all her stuff on the floor before sitting. Her dog retreating back to her bedroom she assumed to go back to sleep.

"Oh shit wow… the hot redhead giving you a lot of work?"

"Yeah, something like that"

Beca just looked at the Tv program that Jesse was looking at. If she was being honest with herself she didn't know what to think nor what to feel at the moment. But since it was Thursday and tomorrow was Friday she was hoping to go to the club tomoorw and maybe reunite with Leslie who Jesse thinks is her girlfriend but just a close friend who happens to be the bartender and her casual sex companion.

"You want to go to club tomorrow night?"

Jesse looks at Beca and notices that his roommate looks pretty down. Its not unusual for Beca to suggest to go the club but they haven't gone to club as often as they use too since Beca started that assistant job.

"Yeah sure. Any particular reason? Meeting with your bartender friend?"

"You know that she is also your friend too? And no I just want to destress a bit"

"She is my friend but not my friend with benefit relationship"

"Whatever dude…I'm going to bed."

Beca got up and headed toward the kitchen to get a bottled water and then headed toward her bedroom.

"Hey Beca?"

"Yeah?" Beca turned back around to face Jesse after reaching her bedroom doorframe.

"You know you can tell me anything if you need to talk or something"

"Yea of course I do…thanks Jesse goodnight."

"Good morning, Ms. Beale" Beca slowly entered her bosses office the next morning.

"Morning"

"Um I have all the reports you asked for" Beca walked toward Ms. Beale to set the reports on her desk.

"Oh yeah thank you."

"No problem. Do you need anything else"?

"No. I'm good thanks."

Beca turned to leave back to her office but a voice stopped her and made her turn around to face her boss.

"Beca?"

"Yeah?"

"Look can we forget about yesterday, and move on and go back to normal?"

"Y-yeah of course…nothing to worry about."

"Thank you…and one more thing…can you tell Ms. Posen to come to office?"

"Yeah I'll let her assistant know" Beca swiftly turned back but not before taking a glance at the couch where the most incredible but hurtful event happened last night.

Last night

Beca noticed that her boss was leaning in and she couldn't resist any longer and had to close the distance, connecting their lips. The first thing Beca noticed is that her boss has the softest and most delicate lips. She felt fireworks, butterflies, and all that sappy stuff that people feel when experience a kiss from the person they like. The kiss quickly escalated which led Beca to be on top of Ms. Beale. Beca's hand gripped Chloe's waist while the other gripped Chloe's leg to bend her knee to wrap it around her too give her room between her legs. As they continued to make out with Beca in between Chloe's legs, Beca couldn't help but doubt that this actually means anything for her boss.

Chloe kept her hands on Beca's neck but smoothly glided up into her assistant's hair and then quickly brought them down on Beca's waist in order to lift Beca's shirt slightly.

THUD

Beca broke away from the smooth skin on Chloe's neck and turned to see that her phone fell from the couch. Both women were completely turned on with chests heaving and wrinkled clothes.

"My phone fell" Beca whispered looking between Chloe's eyes and lips.

"Ignore it" Chloe pulled Beca down on top of her again connecting their plumped lips.

"Mmm…we should stop….we should really stop"

"Why?"

"We have too…" Beca got up and moved to sit down on the far end of the couch near Chloe's legs. Beca knew she really didn't want to stop, especially after seeing Chloe laying on the couch looking at her with dilated eyes and a heaving chest.

"I mean you're my boss"

"So? Look it doesn't have to change anything…" Chloe sat up facing Beca with one bent knee on the couch and the other hanging down.

"But it does at least for me… look I know that it's really unprofessional to say this but since we kissed, I have to say it…. I like you…a lot… and if we continue, I don't want to get hurt especially if this means nothing to you." Beca saw that Chloe gave no reaction to this confession as if it has been said a thousand times to her. Maybe other employees have confessed they were attracted to Ms. Beale before to the point where Chloe has become immune to it.

"Oh… then maybe you're right we should stop. It's getting late we should leave." Chloe got up off the couch reached for her purse and sweater and headed toward the door.

"Night Beca"

"Night..." Beca stayed sitting on Ms. Beale's couch and watched her leave. Beca felt as if her heart was just ripped out and Ms. Beale just took it with her along with her purse and jacket. As if it was nothing.

"Shit" Beca whispered.

Later in the afternoon...

It was lunchtime and Beca knew that if she didn't turn her mood around then Stacie would be able to know something was going on with her. She walked toward Stacie's office since it has become their little thing to go to the café for lunch every Friday.

She noticed that Ms. Posen's office was closed so she assumed she left with Ms. Beale since her boss also left probably for lunch. Stacie's door was slightly closed so she lightly knocked but opened the door to let herself in.

"Hey Stace you ready to lea-"

"BECA wait!"

"Oh shit"

Beca couldn't help but to chuckle a little since she just caught her close friend with her boss, Ms. Posen in the middle of what seemed to be a hot make out session. Aubrey was sitting on Stacie's desk while Stacie was in between Ms. Posen's legs and they were both face to face. Until Aubrey gently pushed Stacie away from her so she get off the desk.

"Beca can you please not tell anyone about this please?"

"Umm yeah of course I wasn't even planning on telling anyone."

"Thank you…and I'm gonna go…so see you guys later"

Aubrey glanced back at Stacie and gave her a gentle smile. Stacie knew that she was nervous from getting caught with that gentle smile and all she wanted to do was to bring back Aubrey and tell her everything was okay.

"Sooo…what did I walk into?" Beca asked Stacie with a smirk on her face.

Beca and Stacie were inside the elevator heading down to go toward the café nearby. Stacie saw Beca's smirk and couldn't help but smile as well.

"Honestly…I don't even know…I knew that I had a crush on Aubrey since she interviewed me but I just figured it was attraction, so I didn't think anything of it. That is until she kissed me"

"Wait she kissed you!? When?"

"Yes, she did and please keep your voice down we are almost at the lobby."

Once they got to the lobby they headed straight outside and headed toward the café down the street.

"Okay…so are you gonna tell what happened?"

Beca asked once they ordered their food and sat down on one of the tables near the window.

Stacie began to tell Beca while she added sugar to her black coffee.

"Honestly...it happened so randomly. We were just talking about Kaylee's album in my office. It was pretty late maybe around 5pm? So everyone has left home already and it was just us. I was sitting my chair while she was sitting in chair in front of me. Then I showed her the report on my computer so she went to right next to me. Before either of us noticed we were literally face to face. We were so close to each other, I knew I just had to kiss her, but she beat me to it. It was honestly the hottest kiss I have experienced."

"When was this?" Beca sipped her iced coffee.

"It was like two weeks ago"

"TWO weeks? And you didn't tell me?"

"Aubrey didn't want anyone to know since she is my actual boss…but honestly, I'm kind of relived that you now know since it's been so hard not to talk to you about the hot sex me and Aubrey have.

"Ew I don't want to know about that."

"Shame"

"I'm sure it is. Anyways…the hunter has been tamed huh" Beca smiled remembering the first album release party where Stacie shared that information and where Beca admitted her growing feelings for her boss.

*Flashback*

Beca and Stacie were having some drinks at the bar while they were both observing the people in the club. This club was different than any only club they have been to since it is a private club the label rented out for this night's album party. Beca was drinking her typical beer while Stacie was having some weird named cocktail. They were just talking about work since they have been getting closer for the past month and have actually formed a good friendship and work relationship. The conversation switched over after they both shared they were single.

"You looking to pull anyone today Becs?"

"Not exactly…but if the opportunity is given, I will not be opposed to it."

"That's the spirit. Any dudes you want specifically I could send some your way?"

"I am gonna pass on the dudes and dicks. You could have those."

"Thanks! And okay, so ladies it is. Although I'm gonna have to fight with you for the ladies as well." Stacie looked at Beca and smirked.

"No need for a fight Stace I'm not really looking for anything. What about you?"

"The hunter is always is hunting. Especially hot finance guys and cute girls from the legal team." Stacie said as she observed people in the booths and tables.

"Okay what? W-what did you say? Hunter is hunting?"

"Oh yeah. Is that weird? I couldn't think of a good name so hunter it was"

"N-nope. Cool name"

"Thanks" Stacie said with a proud smile.

After a few minutes of a comfortable silence Stacie said she was going on a hunt and that she will catch up with Beca later. Beca stayed at the bar drinking a few drinks after Stacie left and she hates to admit it, but she kept taking casual glances to the women that has literally caught her eye since she saw her, Ms. Beale. Her redheaded boss was by Ms. Posen's side talking with other directors and executives.

"Why are you staring at Ms. Beale? Or are you staring at Ms. Posen?"

"WHAT? N-no I'm not staring at anyone" Beca looked to her side surprised that Stacie literally came out of nowhere.

"Really? Then why do I see drool coming down the side your pretty little mouth?"

Beca quickly wiped her mouth with the back of her mouth. "I don't have dro-shut up. Weren't you on the hunt?"

"Yeah, I was but I turned to see if you were okay but I just saw you staring at the director and executives"

"I wasn't"

"You were. Anything you want to tell me Becs?"

Beca looked at Stacie and saw nothing but honesty and care from her friend. Beca sighed. " I don't know I just…"

"You have feelings for Ms. Beale."

"Wha-how do you figure that?"

"I mean its not hard to tell Becs. At least for me when I'm with you everyday. You always talk about her even though I see that you try not to."

"Yeah…I just can't help it. I'm trying to over it but its hard."

"I get it Becs. But if you don't mind me asking. What do you see in her? I mean she's really pretty and all but her personality doesn't seem to be the same"

"I don't know. There is just something about her. She does keep to herself, but I can't help but think that there is something really beautiful within her. She doesn't show it but there is."

"Really? I hope your right. But anyways just be careful Becs"

"Yeah"

"I'm gonna back to hunting. You good?"

"Yes. I'm a big girl Stace. G back to what you were doing, or should I say who you were about do."

"Definity. See ya Becs"

Beca knew she was falling into dangerous territory by falling for her boss but she didn't care. She knew it would not be recuperated and nothing at all will come of this crush. So, the only thing she had to do was not make it obvious at work and hoping that this crush will go away. One way to help herself get over Ms. Beale is with the help from the women that just sat down near her at the bar.

"Hey, how's it going" Beca said while she turned to look at the women next to her.

"Hey, its Beca right?"

"Yeah," Beca was kind of surprised that this woman knew her name. "Sorry, have we met before?"

"No, but I saw you come in my department a few days ago to drop off something. So I asked my friend who the hot women is who just came in"

"Thanks, I kind of wish I would've saw you before. What department are you from." Beca felt her confidence go up since she got a few beers in her system.

"The legal department I'm just one of the reps. You work for Ms. Beale huh?"

"Yup."

"How's that going for you? Cuz I don't think she ever really had an actual personal assistant right?"

"This past month has been pretty good honestly. I'm liking it so far."

"Well, that's good."

"I'm sorry I should've asked before. Whats you name?" Beca smirked at the women sitting next to her.

"It's Alexis nice to finally meet you." The women smiled at Beca and reached out her hand for Beca to shake.

Beca shaked her hand. "Hi Alexis, can I buy you drink since you so kindly called me hot a few moments ago" Beca said with one of her charming smirks.

"I was just thinking of another way of calling you hot for you to buy me a drink." Alexis joked.

*End of Flashback*

"The hunter has been tamed" Stacie took a sip of her coffee and began to eat her lunch that was just placed on the table.

"So, what are you guys official?" Beca also started to eat her lunch.

"Um…officially no. We've just been hooking up and I don't know having dates."

"Dates? You guys go out?"

"Yeah, but then usually we end up at her house where we just hang out and stuff"

"I mean… as you said to me at the party…just be careful Stace"

"Its okay I think it going good so far"

"As long as you're sure"

"I'm sure"

When both women finished eating they headed back to the label parting ways to their individual offices.
