Finally Chloe's intro and Pov.

After this, I think I'll be bouncing between Chloe and Beca's Pov.

Chloe Beale grew up like any other child living in LA. Of course, she grew up more privileged and much richer than most of the population, but her father, Kevin Beale, definitely did not allow money to define his kids. He made them attend public school, made them do chores, had them work as teenagers, and use money that they earned themselves. The money they earned themselves would be used only if they wanted something that wasn't really necessary like expensive clothes or a new videogame. Nonetheless, Kevin Beale wanted his kids to know the value of money and responsibility ever since he started his label and knew he wanted kids. Chloe was 3 years old when Beale Records celebrated their 10-year anniversary so it was barely 7 years before she born when her father made Beale Records. When she was younger her father always told her that Beale Records didn't do so well in the beginning until another label took on the offer of a collaboration four years into the start of the label which helped Beales Records become the Grammy award-winning label that it is today.

Before the label, Kevin actually had a trust fund from his parents who unfortunately passed away when he turned 25 so financially, he had stability since he also had his ad agency job but on a personal level, he wanted to make a name for himself. So, when he turned 35, he decided on taking the steps of building his own label in order to help his family have a legacy. He worked and worked for his label until it finally paid off and his label was finally reaching a level that made him and his label award-winning. Fortunately for him, a few years later his wife, Angela, was pregnant with Chloe which made him look forward to his plan on retiring at a young age to enjoy life with his kids and his beautiful wife. This is why he wanted one of his kids, preferably his oldest to become president and later on CEO of his label, so he started getting them ready at a young age.

Chloe knew what she wanted to become ever since she was 10. Her father made it known that if she wanted to, she could become the next president of Beale Records. However, if she chooses not to work in the label then the responsibility would be offered to her younger brother. The good thing for the Beale family was that Chloe actually wanted to work for the label since her brother has no interest in it whatsoever. Chloe knew that her brother followed in their mother's footsteps in the art type since they both loved to draw and paint. While Chloe actually loved and appreciated music, so she knew she had to follow in her father's footsteps in the record label industry.

Today, Chloe is a few months away from getting the presidency spot unless her challenger, an employee who has been working their way up also to be president, wins her spot. Her father of course would allow this since it is known in business that working your way up pays off when you become president or any higher-up official. So, what this meant for Chloe is to really work her ass off since she now has competition.

Her best friend, Aubrey Posen, even hired an assistant to help her find her flow in the label since she will be stressed, and an assistant will be very helpful when she least expects it. Chloe let Aubrey choose her assistant and based on the two months of having one she chose good, maybe too good for her own well-being. Since Aubrey has been there for her since they were little kids since their parents grew up in the same circles, she went to her when she found out when was pregnant, when she miscarried, and when she was about to sleep with her assistant in her office.

Last night…

After Chloe left the building she quickly called Aubrey and connected it to her Bluetooth-connected car.

"Bree I fucked up," Chloe told her best friend desperately as she headed to her home. "I really did go to far"

"What did you do?" Aubrey asked as she was on her bed reading her book.

"I might have almost…sleptwithmyassistant." Chloe quickly said

"Wait…what? Beca? Why? How? What happened?"

"I don't know she stayed late at the office to finish the reports I asked her to do and she heard me crying in my office and one thing led to another and we almost got too far if wasn't for her phone falling ruining the moment."

"What now? You like her or something?"

"I don't. I mean she's hot and really beautiful I told you that when she first started working but I don't like her like that"

"I mean the attraction could be mutual since you guys almost slept together."

"Yeah…umm…she mig-she told me she likes me actually" Chloe got a smile on her face while she admitted that to Aubrey. She didn't know why but she didn't dwell on it.

"Oh shit…that makes things more complicated"

"What why? I'm just gonna tell her that we should just forget anything happened and to go back to normal so it shouldn't fuck up our work relationship"

"I mean you could tell her that but Chlo…you know how it feels when one gets rejected. You feel like shit especially since you lead her on by making out with her."

"Yeah…"

"Just for now. Tell her that you guys should just move on and focus on work. But just be careful Chlo."

"Thank Bree. I'm almost home I'll see you tomorrow."

Chloe hung up and couldn't help but feel bad since Aubrey was right. She did get Beca's hopes up but in her defense, she didn't know that Beca had feelings for her. So, the only thing she could do is move on. Even though Chloe couldn't help but think back about what could have happened. She must admit that the makeout was probably the hottest one she has ever experienced and she honestly feels disappointed that it didn't go further. The way Beca kissed her, touched her, and even the way she looked at her was magical and electrifying for Chloe.

Chloe arrived at her four-bedroom house with a pool and a huge backyard for her dog.

"Hey Charlie, how was your day?" Chloe bent down and petted her furry friend. "You wanna go outside? Let's go"

Chloe took Charlie outside and while he did his business she sat on one of the chairs near her pool. She went on her phone and went on the news page to see what was being said about the artist's scandal. After a few minutes, Charlie came to her side and sat down next to her.

"Hold on buddy"

Chloe continued to read articles but knew she was just going to make herself sadder than she already was. So, she got up and headed inside with Charlie by her side. She did her night routine and couldn't help but think about how lonely she really was. She bought her house to have space for herself and invested into high-tech security since she was going to live by herself and not with her parents. She has a housekeeper who also takes care of Charlie while she's not home so she literally has everything she had before and if doesn't then she could literally buy it. But the only thing she can't buy is a love life. Chloe always dreamed of falling in love and getting married but the only thing she had so far is one-night stands. She always told herself she was just having fun since she is still young and rich but, in life, like hers, she has to think about things. She has to think about the label which is why she stopped one-night stands especially when one of those one-night stands was with her employee and that employee got her pregnant. She had a life change experience.

The next morning…

Chloe headed to work early to make sure she is in her office before Beca. Since she knew if she wasn't in her office then Beca would just leave the reports on her desk with a sticky note. When she made it to her office she was grateful that her assistant wasn't there yet which meant she was given a little bit of time to prepare what she was gonna say.

Chloe told Beca that they just forget everything that happened and she can't help but feel some sort of pain seeing Beca's hurtful eyes so she asked for Aubrey to come to her office.

"Chloe, you called? Is this about the meeting with the executives? You know it's after lunch right?"

"No, Bree I told Beca that we should just forget about everything. You think I did good?"

"Yes Chloe as long as you just told her straight and direct"

"Straight really?" Chloe said with a smile. "I am anything but straight Bree"

"You know what I meant"

"Mhm"

"So what? That's all you needed me for?"

"No, I want you to help me go over the reports before the meeting"

"Okay," Aubrey went to Chloe's desk and opened one of the reports.

"Chloe you know you are doing really good right now, right? I'm proud to see you working really hard"

"I guess"

"Really Chlo. Based on the sales with the other artist and smaller artists these past 2 months you are doing really good"

"Thanks, Bree"

"You are gonna get the presidency. So just relax"

"I hope you're sure about that. You have no idea how my dad is gonna react if I don't get the presidency. Not only is he gonna be disappointed but he may not even talk to me"

"Don't be so dramatic. He loves you."

Chloe and Aubrey continued to go over the reports until it was almost lunchtime.

"You wanna go to the cafe Chlo"

"Umm I think I'm gonna go upstairs and see my dad"

"Okay, I'll see you at the meeting"

"See ya Bree"

After the meeting...

Chloe and Beca were heading to Chloe's office after the meeting wrapped up.

"Beca can you get me coffee please"

"Of course, I'll be right back"

Chloe sat down at her desk and couldn't help but feel extremely happy that she may have a bigger chance of being president after today's meeting. All the executives saw that she is doing really well compared to the other presidential candidate.

"Here you go Ms. Beale" Beca entered her office after getting the coffee from the coffee machine she has in her own office. Beca found it pretty cool that assistants get a coffee machine in their office only of course for their bosses.

"Thanks, Beca, since it's almost 4 I think it's okay if you go home I'll be good from here to 5"

"O-okay, thanks Ms. Beale I'll see you Monday"

Beca headed home after getting her stuff.

"Hey, dude" Beca was greeted by her dog Bruno while Flynn was laying on the couch with Jesse.

"Hey," Jesse replied even though Beca was talking to Bruno.

"Hey did you just get home?"

"Yup, got home like 10 minutes ago since it was pretty slow today," Jesse tells Beca since he works and manages a car detailing place. "You are out early today"

"Yup, Ms. Beale said I could go home since we just came out of a meeting and we didn't have much to do"

"How's it going with her by the way? You still love her?"

"I don't love her Jess. I just...I don't know. But to answer your question she is a good boss. And I'm gonna change out of this suit"

Beca headed to her room to change.

"What time you wanna head out?" Jesse asked Beca once she entered the kitchen where he started to make a sandwich.

"Um I don't think I want to head out anymore."

"What? Really? I was ready to meet someone and to see Leslie who we haven't seen in a while"

"Fine, um I think around 8?"

"Cool. You know that a few minutes in and you and Leslie go home together so it doesn't matter what time we go."

"Yes, but you always bring someone home too but anyways this time it will be different since I think I'm gonna invite Stacie if she doesn't have plans tonight."

"Stacie? Your friend at work?"

"Yes you do so please be chill and don't be weird"

"I'm not weird"
