Chapter three: It's Christmas time at the base
I started editing this chapter the day after I posted the new version of chapter two. So, to all that either read, added it to your favorite story list or reviewed it, I thank you. If you haven't taking the time to review please do but, I'm glad to see many of you taking the time at least to read it! I just realized that many of you have sent me PM reviews and I thank you for your time and the offer to help me do better with this story. Any help is on here appreciated. To selenahones1 I read your message and I'm very honored that you want to use my characters in your art and I'm very humbled and happy that you are inspired by my storytelling. I love to keep it simple just like the old days of G1 Transformers mixed with some of Michael Bay movie characters. I can hardly wait to go to the theater to see Transformers one. yes you have my permission to use my characters in your art. Where or what site do you post your art work to?
WARNING TO ALL READERS I SPEAK ABOUT CHRISTMAS AND SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS THE BOTS AND HUMANS HAVE TOGETHER. I'm very strong in my faith and I do have the bots acknowledging our God and them excepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Transformers characters belong to Hasbro and other names used belong to Paramount studios. I listed in chapter two the names of the new officers that had been transferred to the base back on June 26, 2008. Then my characters that have been listed so far too! Also, I referred to the Decepticon femme from the University Sam attended on the east coast in the movie but, I gave it a different name, U of Sanford.
Okay here we pick up the story a few weeks before Christmas. This year Lennox and his team were ordered to remain on base. For their families it was going to be hard, especially for their young children. But, at least they have video conference regularly with their families.

It is almost Christmas time but, this year the humans and the bots will be spending it together here on the base. The bots have grown to love many of the official holidays celebrated around the world and Christmas is their favorite. Rev. Goodberg, the base Chaplin, will be holding Christmas service for both the Autobots and the human soldiers that want to attend at 11 am Christmas day. It will be held in the command center where both the humans and bots will be able to attend in the same room together. These last few months the bots have been spending time surfing the internet and learning more of the human race and of their world history. They have known Rev. Goodberg for a couple years now and they have seek his counseling and understanding about God and the faith many humans have in him. The last few months they have attended service at the base chapel tent but, because of their size they had to park outside of the tent and tap into the audio system and to hear him speak. Optimus and the other bots have read the Bible and some of them also studied the history on the country of Israel and surrounding countries too.

So far there has not been any word yet from the General other than sometime in November a memo was sent to Col. Lennox and to Optimus and it only said that the files on the software has been received and is still under investigation. It is a huge 2,000 page report explaining how it works. Every cybertronian
frequency is listed and how they can pull up it and learn who that frequency belong to whether they are alive or dead. Remember that frequency is very much like our DNA in that it can not be altered.
frequencybase. exe file is the actual name the program and the only other server that is big enough to run it is located at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. It could take up to a year before Optimus hears from the General.
Col. Lennox and four others that have been on this base for the past few years are use to being around the bots and Lennox believes the interaction he and the other officers have with the bots gives both species an understanding of each other. In fact Lennox's really feels that there is only two things that make bots different from humans and that is their size and metal bodies. In the last few months some of the bots are still recovering from their injures and the good thing is now it is starting to sink in to them that the war is truly really over; and not just for a brief few months before another interaction occurs causing mass destruction and death to more innocent humans.
Wheeljack years ago created a hologram program that would allow the bots to project a human figure from a camera towards the driver side of the vehicle in case they might be seen traveling pass civilians on some highway or street. But, now Mirage was talking to Wheeljack today and was wondering if they both could create some how the shape shifting program that the Decepticons used during the last war. Mirage asked Wheeljack "Can we like when we transform into to our alternate form but instead shape shift into what resembles a human body and be able to walk anywhere like that femme did where Sam was attending the University of Sanford?"
Wheeljack did not know of such program until Sam told Optimus about what happened at the university he was attending. But, he thought if the Decepticons were able to create it then he wanted to figure that out and if it works that could be a game changer. Mirage out of all the bots has been carefully watching the human race and he completely understands how the humans feel and the righteous fear because of their size. But, Mirage gave Wheeljack a mouth full about this opportunity. "If possible we could assume different names and Lennox's and his team has already taught us how to interact with them. Don't you all remember we had worked similar jobs like the humans have back on Cybertron before the war." Mirage is hell bent on this ideal, he hated the war. The whole reason he agreed to become an Autobot was because he wanted to pleaded for a truce but sadly, he realized eons ago that was never going to happen. Wheeljack was quick to tell him that, that ideal is unknown at this time and he was willing under Primes order to research it. Hound had just walked into Wheeljack's lab and over hear Mirage and he then blurted out and said to Mirage, "Mirage, all of us would like to see that happened and there is nothing wrong with your dreams but, don't lose reality. We first have to see if that software that Wheeljack and the others created will even get the humans to trust us, period or else we will be stuck on this island for ever and that would drive us all insane!" Wheeljack and Mirage just stood there looking at Hound who is blunt and to the point mech. Mirage knew better than to say anything more about this and so to keep the peace he told Hound, "Yes, you are right." Mirage left Wheeljack's lab and Wheeljack then said to Hound, "yes you are right and there is no way of knowing if such program can be made." Wheeljack had a way with projects and programs. He created all their weapons software and updates along the way. He created the software so that the bots and humans can communicate via cell phones. And gadgets that helped the humans to fight along side of them the last few years. Wheeljack had no idea if any of that shape shifting software could be gathered from the spare equipment they were able to safely take from the Deceptions before the rest of their bodies were disposed by burning the metal down to ash. Now, this action was approved by Prime, cause they knew what they were doing and no, nothing dangerously will become of the spare equipment except the shape shifting series of protocols! YES, SPOILER ALERT! Well, hell mind as well get it out now how it came to be. OK, on with the chapter.

It is 1030 am Sunday Morning and Lennox and his team were now coming into the command center. Towards the back of the hanger there are at least 75 chairs set up for the Christmas service. Then behind the chairs is where the bots will come in and park to listen to the Christmas service. A few minutes later the bots were seen driving into the command center and they went toward the back of the hanger where the service was step up to be. The bots remained in vehicle mode as the service started with the choir singing the hymen, Silent Night. A manger scene was set up next to the choir of ten soldiers. There was a woman and man kneeling down next to a crib where a baby was clothed in linen. it was Mary and Joseph who stopped in a little town call Bethlehem where in a small stall outside of town Mary gave birth to a son called Jesus. After the choir was done singing hymens and a few other Christmas favorite songs. Service began with Rev. Goodberg shared the story of the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ being born in a small town called Bethlehem in a manger who would later died on the cross for our sins. There were 11 soldiers that came forward and decided they want to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives and three of the bots, Optimus, Wheeljack and Ratchet and they transformed and took a knee in accepting also the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. It was a very moving service for the bots. It truly was a very moving service. The bots only had homage to Primus who is their creator. They didn't have church service like the humans but they did revere Primus and respected him. Since returning back to base Optimus has started to allow himself to be at peace with himself slowly but surly. He, Ratchet and Wheeljack and the others had recently started reading the Bible and they have been closely watching the humans here for years and just like back on their home planet the bots acknowledge a higher power here on earth and that is God.

It is New Year's eve and everyone on the base was ready to celebrated the new year in. Wheeljack whipped a small batch of the concoction they called high grade energon and it had been a long time since they drank. Lennox and his team had large ice chests full of beer and other beverages. The bots for the first time since the end of the war of all wars seem more happier and content.

The celebration ringing in the new year on the beach was a great time for both the Humans and the bots. The fireworks program was awesome. Wheeljack set it up electronically and the time of the fireworks to the music was great. By one in the morning they dispersed and went back to their respective hangers for the night. The next day Wheeljack was in his lab he had taken the core format cog that was from that femme that was safely in a vapor lock chamber. This is where the bots kept some of the parts that were safe to keep for scrape patches and circuits boards that would be reformatted and converted before personal use for the bots. He first scanned it then he safely connected to his table pad and started searching for software sequences. He was searching it for the same protocols Bee sent him yesterday that Bee had brief access to when that femme was chasing him, Sam and his friends through the grounds of the University. Wheeljack found it! It is close to 475 trillion signals sent to different circuits all over their bodies to change from one form to another. That is not really hard since it takes about 750 million signals to shift from bot form to their alternate form of a vehicle. Bee has a secure access to the base and at least twice a month he contacts Optimus. Those two are always having good conversations since Bee is always talking about life there in Cali. Prime was very happy for Bee. At least he ain't stuck on this island and can travel but only with Sam behind the wheel. Might I also add that Bee was given by Wheeljack a software program that shields himself from humans able to detect him. Since Sam works from home 85 percent of the time Bee stays in his new crib a personal built two story four car wide house built on the back lot of Sam's property there in Malibu, California.
Wheeljack found some of the sequence protocols but not the complete set but, that's okay the base program was there just the other million sets of protocols will have to be written for each individual bot because of their size. Two, the next set of protocols will have to be written based on their own description of human shape and size they want. This will take some time. Their shape shifting programs they use now is from alternate vehicle mode to bipedal form. This new one has to be created and written by Wheeljack. Sideswipe was learning software edit/adapt protocols back on Cybertron just before the war turned ugly and the schools were shut down. Wheeljack could possible get him to help. Most of the bots have learned over the centuries how to adapt and edit their programs to survive but, this time the bots will help in writing the protocols because they got to figure out the appearances as a human they want. Oh and later on I will explain how they look comparing them to human people like Optimus is going to look like Chuck Connors.
Okay I'll stop here before I write enough to be called a BOOK! Next chapter will start a couple months after this chapter. I have so many of my own places and characters in this story but the Transformers names belong to Hasbro and other names and places in this story belong to Paramount Studios.
